Longsheng Longji Terrace

The Bijie to Longji Terrace Scenic Area passes through Qianxi, Guiyang, Longli, Qiannan, Rongjiang, Leidong and Sanjiang. Most of them are inhabited by ethnic minorities, with beautiful scenery and rich ethnic characteristics. Many places are worth visiting. Since I have been there most of them before, I skipped it this time. The entire route is 600 kilometers long and takes 6 hours and 50 minutes to reach the ticket office of Longji Terrace Scenic Area at 3:50 p.m.

The ticket office of Longji Terrace Scenic Area is located in Jinzhu Zhuangzhai. After purchasing tickets here (80 yuan per person), you have to walk more than ten kilometers of mountain roads. The road is very narrow, with many turns, uneven road surface, and some sections still have water. There is a lot of traffic on the road, most of which are private cars and tourist buses coming here for tourism. You need to be extra careful when turning or meeting cars.

Talk about Longji Terrace. In Heping Township, southeastern Longsheng County, Guangxi, there is a large-scale terraced group, distributed between 300- 1,100 meters above sea level, with a maximum slope of 50 degrees. The terraces are coiled layer by layer from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, stacked layer by layer, with scattered heights and heights. Their lines are flowing and flowing, and their scale is majestic and spectacular. They are called the "Longji Terrace".

The Longji Terrace consists of two parts, the Ping 'an Zhuang Terrace and the Jinkeng Dazhai Yao Terrace.

There are two unique landscapes in Ping 'an Terrace: "Five Tigers in Kowloon" and "Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon". "Jiulong" refers to the nine small ridges separated from the main vein of the dragon's spine here, and "Five Tigers" refer to the five slightly raised hills here. "Seven stars" refer to the seven small hills specially left behind when the sky opened. The seven small hills are stacked in the middle of the pottery field. When viewed from a distance, they look like seven shining stars, guarding the curved moon field of the dragon's spine.

The Jinkeng Dazhai Yao Terrace is surrounded by mountains and resembles a natural tiankeng, so it is called Jinkeng. There are three viewing points in the Jinkeng Terrace, namely Xishan Shaole, Dajie Thousand Layer Ladder, and Jinfoding. The three scenic spots constitute a cave far from the secular world.

Due to the long distance between the three viewing points of Jinkeng Terrace, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and we don't want to be too hard to travel all the way, we plan to only go to Ping 'an Terrace.

I booked the "Seven Star Accompanying Moon Resort" in Ping 'an Village in advance, and followed the guidance of the navigation. In the end, I arrived at the Dazhai Parking Lot (Jinkeng Dazhai Yao Terrace Scenic Area), so sometimes I really can't trust the navigation too much. It can also be unreliable. Especially when you go to some mountainous or remote areas, you will be more sure by talking frequently and asking more questions.

Due to running more than 20 kilometers of wasted road, it was already 5:40 p.m. when we arrived at Ping 'anzhai parking lot. I thought I could check in and rest quickly. Unexpectedly, the hotel was on the top of the mountain and had to climb the mountain road for at least half an hour. Fortunately, a local uncle carried luggage (50 yuan). Even so, I was already out of breath when I climbed to the top of the mountain.

Ping 'an Village is a Zhuang village. Houses are built circling along the valley, and the path leading up the mountain is the street. Generally, there is a wind and rain bridge at the entrance of the village to protect the villagers from the wind and rain, chat, gather, or sell some agricultural and sideline products. It also has the function of welcoming guests and sending farewell. No matter whether you enter or leave the village, you must pass through here. Cross the wind and rain bridge and follow the stone steps to the mountain. On the top of the mountain is the hotel to stay in tonight.

The higher you go, the steeper the steps are. Halfway up the mountain, layers of terraces appear.

At 6:30 p.m., we arrived at the Seven Star Companion Moon Hotel. The hotel is located above the Seven-Star Moon Observation Deck. It is actually a family hotel. Except for the slightly smaller rooms, the rooms are all nice. You can see the terraces by opening the window.

Taking advantage of the fact that it was still dark, he walked around on the observation deck. Nowadays, the terraces have been drained, and from the top of the mountain to the foot of the mountain, each ridge and layer upon layer are bright and green.

Dinner was settled at the hotel. Perhaps it was because the hotel owner's craftsmanship was good, or the ingredients in the mountains were fresh. The bamboo tube chicken and chicken soup were excellent. The meat was tender and the soup was fresh. The two of us actually ate the whole chicken.

The night in the mountains was extremely quiet, and occasionally I heard a few barking dogs in the distant village. I didn't seem to be used to falling asleep with the stars in such a quiet night. I turned and turned for a long time before I fell asleep.

In the early morning, the fog is rolling in the mountains like white waves. The village is looming in the fog. The layers of terraces are like painted by a brush, which is particularly beautiful and eye-catching.

The "seven stars accompany the moon" in the mist, and the seven hills are either green, white, or red, like a crescent moon field among the guardians of the seven colorful stars. The terraces at this time are like layers of falling snowflakes or floating silver belts. The dancing lines outline a beautiful ink painting painted by the people of the mountain village with their hands on the mountains.

The fog gradually dissipated, the sun emerged from the mountain top, and the picture lit up. The mystery of the small village has faded, people are visible in the fields, and the farmers have begun to work hard again. Tomorrow's paintings will be more beautiful.

"Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon" is very beautiful and poetic. I wonder what the "Five Tigers in Kowloon" is, but it may be even more beautiful. But in order to catch the good weather at the next destination, we gave up the "Nine Dragons Five Tigers" and went straight down the mountain after breakfast.
