The next day, we will take a cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo (you can book a package online in advance for the hotel to receive Guilin Mopanshan Wharf plus a ferry ticket). The boat journey is 3.5 hours. Yangshuo is downstream, so the boat is a one-way trip. Fortunately, I had taken the initiative in advance. Otherwise, I would have wanted to drive all the way from Guilin to Beihai. I contacted WeChat customer service and said that I wanted to change the ticket. The customer service actually told me that the flight was suspended the next day! The driver who chartered our car said that only the ships from Beihai to Weizhou Island should be suspended, but there were still ships that would take us back to Beihai from Weizhou Island. He called the customer service again, and the customer service who answered the phone said that she had not heard of the suspension of the flight. The two customer service customers had different opinions. Weizhou Island is a beautiful island, but the experience is too bad. Nothing goes smoothly from booking tickets, boarding the island to changing tickets. Fortunately, a staff member in the Alligator Mountain Scenic Area helped me confirm that the sailing was indeed suspended for the next two days, so we urgently changed our reservation for the last boat that day and returned to Beihai. Boat is the only mode of transportation on Weizhou Island. If you are trapped on the island, just treat yourself as an islander growing jackfruit, haha.

Crocodile Mountain, which was almost given up because it was too hot, is the core scenic spot of Weizhou Island. The two mothers didn't go up. Walking on the plank road required physical strength. After visiting Beihai Old Street, I was just about to call a taxi when a driver came over and said that he also drives Didi and can take us wherever we want to go all day today. He is a little tired in Mandarin, but he is very enthusiastic and humorous. I went to five places in one day, and only charged 65 yuan for transportation. What a conscientious driver.

The taste is not particularly outstanding, but I am satisfied to taste Vietnamese roll powder. The oysters are not too big, 6 for 10 yuan.

I originally planned to go to Yintan after lunch and then go to the seafood market to buy seafood for the hotel to process it at night. However, the driver said it was early and asked us if we wanted to go to the "Vietnam Village"(Dajiangbu). However, it was completely different from what we expected. This is by far the most popular attraction in the country I have ever been to. The conductor said that it was usually 128, but now it was 60 per person. After entering, I found that the inside was too dilapidated, and I couldn't find a suitable location if I wanted to take photos for my two moms. There was a performance that was a little scary. There are not many tourists in the scenic area, and a couple even complained that the scenic spot is too poignant. It is not as good as the free Silver Beach.

The last stop is Haixinrong Seafood Market recommended by the B & B owner. It is said that it does not slaughter customers and is worth a pound. Grouper fish is 23 per kilogram, sand worms are 55 per kilogram. At night, I ordered a plate of hotel stir-fried pork. The non-spicy stir-fried pork can be made so delicious.

I have been wanting to buy fruits from Guilin to go home for the past few days. They are really delicious and inexpensive. I went to the Wulidian Fruit and Vegetable Market with a drip. Unfortunately, they were sold in whole boxes and couldn't buy too much. Finally, a stall bought a very large red heart dragon fruit, 4 of which is only 28. It was already past five o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived at this fruit and vegetable market, so we didn't see the lychee and jackfruit that we wanted to buy most. We said we would only have them in the morning. The peaches sold on carts outside the market were only 2 yuan, and I bought 6 kilograms. Unfortunately, I didn't know that the peaches were not suitable for putting in the refrigerator. When I woke up, the peaches sacrificed a lot, but the taste was very good.

It rained heavily on the way back to the hotel. Sitting in the taxi, we felt so lucky. The weather in the past few days was really amazing.

On this trip with my two mothers, I arranged for one or two scenic spots to check in and take photos for them every day. The hotel ordered breakfast, which was more convenient and ordered takeout at noon or evening. In terms of transportation, some hotels provide pick-up and drop-off services, and other times rely on Didi, so that they can feel more relaxed.
