Neither of my parents-in-law had been to Guilin, so they traveled together.

If you go directly to buy tickets, you can get a carriage, which will be more convenient.

It was expensive!

Hole shoes: When you go to Guilin, you must play in the water. How can you miss a pair of suitable hole shoes if you play in the water? I'll buy a pair on Taobao.

Raincoat: Bring a raincoat to prevent freezing when it is cold and prevent rain when it rains. Of course, you can use sunscreen clothing instead when the weather is hot.

Mobile phone/camera waterproof cover: a necessity when going rafting. Children's shoes without mobile phones and cameras when drifting can be skipped...

Since I only took half a day off on Friday, I prepared all the luggage I needed on Thursday night. Rain capes, umbrellas, shoe covers, hole shoes, fans, etc., my daughter was too excited to sleep at night. I hurried back from the company at noon on Friday, picked up my luggage, and headed straight to the South Railway Station.

TIPS：

There are still as many people at South Railway Station as ever. So please reserve a certain amount of time (half an hour is appropriate) and arrive at the station early to wait. Although you can change your ticket if you miss the train, it will affect your subsequent journey.

Nowadays, ticket checking at railway stations is also relatively strict. Train tickets are real-name system. You need to see your personal ID card when you enter the station. If you buy a train ticket in someone else's name, the staff at the ticket gate will stop you and refuse to enter. Please be careful when buying tickets.

There are no bullet trains or high-speed trains from Shanghai to Guilin... Please think twice if you want to go by train.

The bed on the train is really small, and it is very difficult to squeeze one big and one small. If conditions permit, buy a child ticket for your child. Otherwise, there is no bed and I will be very tired after a night.

It's very stuffy on the train, so you must bring your fans and essential oils in case of emergency needs.

When the train enters the intermediate station, parents must take good care of their treasures and remember to do so. Of course, they must also be careful about their belongings. Everyone understands the reason.

You can sell food and drink on the train. Of course, it's best to bring some yourself. It's boring to bring too much. It's hot and it's a waste if you can't eat it. After bouncing on the train for 20 hours, I finally arrived in Guilin, and it rained.

TIPS：
While chatting on the train, I met a middle-aged man who was also from Shanghai. I took more than a dozen elderly people and a young BB to visit Guilin. According to them, the budget was about 1500 yuan/person, and the tour time was about 6 days. In order to save money, transportation basically relies on buses and buses. I thought they were so frugal and I envied them, but as a result, when I got off the train, it rained and there were so many people. When we got to the hotel to pick up the minibus, they were still waiting in the rain. A group of old and young felt really tired.

If conditions permit, don't be too economical when traveling, especially for the elderly and children, rent what you need to rent and book what you need. Ctrip has a car rental booking service. In this case, booking a car early to pick it up will save a lot of trouble.

Guilin Seven Star (Rock) Scenic Area is located on the east bank of the Li River in Guilin City, on the bank of the Xiaodongjiang River, a tributary of the Li River, and 1.5 kilometers away from the city center. Xiangshan Park is located on the west bank of the Li River in the south of Guilin, at the confluence of the Li River and Taohua River, covering an area of 11.80 hectares. Xiangshan was originally named Yishan, Li Mountain and Shenshui Mountain. Just as it stretched out its long trunk and rolled water to drink, the heavenly king of Tata who secretly followed him held high his sword and stabbed it hard at the elephant's back from top to bottom. The divine elephant was killed. The divine elephant stood upright and turned into a rocky mountain. The hilt of the sword is still exposed on the elephant's back.

The boat was tiring and the weather was sultry. My baby and grandma felt uncomfortable. In the end, only my grandfather and grandpa climbed Elephant Trunk Mountain, and we waited for them at the foot of the mountain.

Due to heavy rains and flash floods, Xiangshan was severely submerged. We couldn't go to Love Island, so we could only look from afar. It was a pity that the "Love Island","Water Moon Cave" and "Elephant Eye Rock" in the park were not allowed to enjoy it.

After returning from Elephant Trunk Mountain, we took a taxi to Jiefang West Road. Originally scheduled to have dinner in Xiaonanguo on Jiefang West Road, but the meal was too full at noon, so everyone decided to go to see Song Xian Liu Sanjie together. PS, Ge Xian Liu Sanjie is not an impression of Liu Sanjie. Ge Xian watched the performance in Guilin and her impression is Yangshuo.

However, taxis in Guilin are really difficult to hail, especially when we have to hail 2 taxis when we go out. During peak periods, the drivers will even bargain with you and increase the price. Old and young people are struggling. I regretted it a little at that time. I wish I had rented a car on the first day in Guilin.

We slept well at night, and early the next morning, the contacted driver was waiting for us below the community.

You can take the bus from Dazhai Landscape Building from Guilin to Longji, 50 yuan per person. However, there is no direct car from Longji to Yangshuo, so it is very troublesome to reverse the car like "Longji-Guilin-Yangshuo".

We booked a 7-seater commercial vehicle, connected with the car, driver, and tickets. Guilin-Longji-Yangshuo-Guilin, a total of four days journey, eliminating the trouble of crowded buses/long-distance buses. The car was booked on the travel website. Driver Li is very responsible, has good skills and a reasonable price. The main reason is that there are old and young people in our party, and it is too tiring to squeeze the bus/long-distance bus.

We went to Dayao Village in Longji Jinkeng. Help us change our tickets and drive all the way to Yaozhai Pass. When we arrived at Zhaikou, we contacted the inn owner, and the inn sent someone to pick us up. Li lived at the foot of the mountain and did not go up.

Friends who plan to get on the cableway suggest buying a ticket online. Buying it now in the scenic spot will be more expensive.

There is a cable car at the gate of the landscape area. You can take the cable car directly to the No. 3 landscape platform. Our inn is halfway up the mountain (according to locals, at the foot of the mountain), so we didn't buy a cable car ticket. Following the innkeeper's son (the young man is quite shy...), Start climbing terraces.

From Zhaikou to the inn, it is estimated that the locals can walk in 7 or 8 minutes. We, old and young, estimated that it took us more than 20 minutes to climb... When I arrived at the entrance of the inn, I suddenly felt that the decision not to book the Panorama Building was so wise!!!

The Panorama Building is at the top of the No. 3 Landscape Platform. It takes young people 2 hours to climb to reach it. It is absolutely impossible for us to complete.

TIPS：

At the foot of the mountain, there are mountain people who help carry luggage, and small luggage can be carried in their baskets. All our luggage was put in the car and we only brought a set of change of clothes with us. We didn't have a suitcase, so we didn't let go. It is said that the price is 30 yuan per piece of luggage.

If you have an oversized suitcase, it is recommended to store it at the Longji Rafting place. It is unclear how much it costs, but students who know can popularize science.

It's a little chilly at night on the mountain, so it's best to bring an extra set of long-sleeved clothing in case of emergency needs.

I feel that mountain people don't wear socks. Children's shoes with cold feet must bring a pair of socks, otherwise there seems to be no socks for sale in the entire scenic area... This is cold...

The boss and wife are very enthusiastic. Lunch at the inn at noon. The vegetarian dishes were really delicious, and the pork was better than those in the city. All 5 dishes and soup were eaten, and even Xiaobao, who didn't like to eat at home, ate 2 bowls of rice.

After lunch, Grandpa, Grandma and Grandpa walked up the path to No. 2 Landscape Platform. Grandma, my baby and I rested at the inn. The best way to go from the inn to the No. 2 Landscape Platform is because they are all stone roads. It is said that there are mud roads from No. 2 to No. 1 and then to No. 3, and local people don't walk much on rainy days. If you want to go to the No. 3 landscape platform, it is safer and more convenient to take the cable car.

Students who are obsessed with cleanliness should bring their own slippers.

It's best to bring toiletries. The inn provides toiletries, but I don't use them.

Early in the morning, my grandfather got up to take pictures of the sunrise, but unfortunately, he went to bed too late the night before, and the sun was already high when the sunrise was photographed in the morning.

After eating the butter tea prepared for us by the landlady, we set off down the mountain. The taste of butter tea is a bit strange, but trying new flavors every now and then is one of the joys of traveling!

Compared with Guilin and Yangshuo, Longji is less impetuous and more leisurely. It is the most leisurely time during this trip. If I had time, I would really like to live in Longji for 2 more days and don't want to return to my original urban life.

From Longji down the mountain, we followed the established itinerary and headed straight for Yangshuo. Due to the heavy rain in the past few days and the flood in the Long River, I went directly to Shili Gallery in the afternoon. Walking through the Moon Mountain, we visited the big banyan tree, and visited Butterfly Spring. We didn't go deep into other attractions.

Yangshuo Shili Gallery is located on Yueliang Mountain in Yangshuo. It is called Yangshuo Shili Gallery because of the beautiful scenery along the road. The main attractions include the Ancient Totem Road, Moon Mountain, Big Banyan Tree, Julongtan, Butterfly Spring, peaches to sacrifice their lives, dolphins come out of the water, nuns go down the mountain, Huoyan Mountain, Bajie to dry their bellies, golden cats coming out of the cave, horse elephant strange stones, Longjiao Mountain, monkeys and people worry, camels crossing the river, Qinge scenery, beautiful women dressing up, etc.

Walking along the Shili Gallery, I suddenly saw a towering peak with a large round hole on the top. It was high and bright, like a full moon hanging high high. This was the Moon Mountain.

The "Moon Palace" of Yueliang Mountain is a classic international rock climbing route. There are many stalactites in the cave in Yuegongli, some shaped like Chang'e, some shaped like jade rabbits, and there is also a osmanthus tree, which is consistent with the myth of Guanghan Palace. It is really a natural creation.

Walking along the Licun Moon View Road opposite Yueliang Mountain, the shape of the moon changes from crescent moon-full moon-half moon-crescent moon, and changes from angle to cloudy and sunny. This is also a unique sight in Yangshuo.

We got up early in the morning and had some breakfast at Li Ping Cafe next to West Street. After meeting Xiao Huang's driver at West Street Street, we drove to the Yulong River and started a pleasant rafting.

In many group tours, the Yulong River is a self-selected and self-funded event. Personally, I feel that the Yulong River rafting is really good and a must-see event. The group of us wore hole shoes, and the children and grandfather wore running shoes, but the two of them put on long shoe covers that they had bought on Taobao for a long time, and their shoes were not wet.

We booked a round-trip trip from Yangdi to Xingping. The whole journey was about 4 hours. Four people shared a bamboo raft. Our family of six rented two rafts.

The bamboo rafts used on the Li River are relatively large and use PVC pipes. The Yulong River is a two-person raft, which is a real raft made of bamboo.

We chose a round-trip trip from Yangdi to Xingping to Yangdi, which took about 4 hours in total. Students who need it can choose one way from Yangdi to Xingping, or Xingping to Yangdi. The cost is lower and the time is shorter.

Because the boat arrived at Xingping back and forth, the boatman did not stop for us to go ashore, so it was a pity that we didn't visit Xingping Ancient Town.

Li River, the general term for the upper reaches of the Guijiang River, a tributary of the Pearl River System of the Xijiang River (the upper main stream of the Pearl River), is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The 15th is our last day in Guilin. After a few days of hard work, everyone finally slept in in the hotel until they woke up naturally.
