"Guilin's mountains and rivers are the best in the world". I don't know how many people have their impression of Guilin from this sentence. The last time I went to Guilin was last autumn. During the crisp autumn season, I saw "green waters and green mountains". The ultimate expression of the four words. Coincidentally, it is still autumn to explore Guilin again, but the familiar scenery in front of me is still exciting, and the shutter in my hand cannot stop. Not only have I relived the beautiful scenery, but I have also had the honor to meet more wonderful things...
This time, it was already afternoon when I first arrived in Guilin. After settling down in the hotel, the night outside the window was already dark. I could take this opportunity to visit the two rivers and four lakes at night. The two rivers and four lakes have obviously become a business card of Guilin, specifically referring to the Li River, Taohua River, Mulong Lake, Gui Lake, Rong Lake and Shanhu Lake. This water system began in the Northern Song Dynasty, and the poem "Thousands of mountains stand around the wild, One water holds the city and flows" is about the grand scene of the two rivers and four lakes at that time. It is authentic to start the night in Guilin from here and experience the charm of the two rivers and four lakes. On the boating lake, you can look at scenic spots such as Elephant Trunk Mountain, Fubo Mountain, and Sun and Moon Twin Towers. The lights are bright and tourists are crowded. The prosperous scenery seems to bring people back to the prosperity of the Northern Song Dynasty and recreate the style of Guilin Water City at that time. Some people say that because the two rivers and four lakes are once again open to traffic, Guilin has become a city like Venice, a water city. I actually think that Guilin has its own characteristics and differences. It not only has the exquisiteness and charm of a European water city, but also has the poetic style of Chinese style. Especially when visiting at night, it has a more mysterious charm than during the day.
On the second day after arriving in Guilin, I enthusiastically participated in the "2019 China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibition". The expo has been successfully held for five years, and this year it was exhibited for a total of three days. It didn't take long, but it attracted about 800 exhibitors from 71 overseas countries and regions, 24 domestic provinces. Compared with previous years, this year's expo not only has distinctive characteristics in Guangxi, but also integrates world customs! What I saw was very interesting was to see many girls dressed in ethnic costumes, as well as various local tourism, cultural and creative products with Guangxi characteristics. They are my favorite "little things" to visit. They are just a small gift and a gift for accompanying hands!
When visiting Guilin, experienced friends will definitely say: Don't miss Yangshuo! How could that be? After all, it is the location on the back of RMB 20, so naturally you have to check in whatever you say! If Guilin's two rivers and four lakes are beautiful after being carefully decorated, then Yangshuo's landscape is a pure natural enjoyment: whether it is sunny or rainy, it has its own charm. The sky is clear and the lake is clear to transparent. The mountain peaks are reflected on the water, as if another world has been formed underwater. At sunrise or dusk, the sky presents unadorned and highly saturated colors. The dazzling orange is sprinkled on the quiet lake, and there are still bamboo rafts and fishermen flashing faintly in the distance. No wonder poets since ancient times have become very poetic when they arrive here. Such beautiful scenery is a deep purification of the soul.
Drifting slowly on a bamboo raft on the Yulong River in Yangshuo, the scenery in front of you seems to be put into an old-fashioned projector. In the blink of an eye, you can freeze a frame of memory. There is no hustle and bustle, no modern color, only fine water flow, gentle autumn wind, meandering mountains, lush plants... Yulong River is called the "Little Li River", but in my eyes, it is a "big girl" and a "small girl". The atmosphere and temperament of Yulong River are hard to disturb, dreamy and restrained, and all troubles and worries can be washed away here...
When it comes to excitement, Yangshuo does not lack color and vitality, such as the hot air balloon project here! I have previously experienced the world's unique hot air balloon flight in Turkey, and if you want to find the most beautiful place to ride in a hot air balloon in China, then Yangshuo must be one of them. Nowadays, Yangshuo's hot air balloons are connected with traction ropes on the ground for safety reasons, so they can only rise vertically to a height of 30-40 meters, but it is still enough to overlook the dreamy landscape of Yangshuo from the sky. This unique perspective turns the beautiful scenery of the mountains and rivers into a large natural bonsai with panoramic views. If you want a more exciting experience, you can also try paragliding! With the help of the wings of the wind, how many times can you experience this in your life?
In Yangshuo, the tranquility and excitement of the day have passed, but at night it belongs to "Impression of Third Sister Liu". I think everyone will be familiar with the name of this country's first "real-life landscape performance". It was originally directed by director Zhang Yimou. There was no stage built, but directly used the waters of the Li River, twelve peaks, and the vast sky. As a "stage" and a "theater", it truly integrates people, nature, plot, lighting, and atmosphere. Looking around, the actors are performing in the mountains and rivers, the mountains are looming in the lights, the figures are jumping and running on the water, and the moon seems to be the best spectator except for the audience. This is not so much a drama, but rather a show. -A show that uses technology to fully demonstrate the charm of mountains and rivers makes everyone sigh that Guilin's scenery is so shocking!
In addition to the scenery, after staying in Yangshuo for two nights, the two hotels I experienced also had their own characteristics! Yangshuo Sanqian Li Cultural Resort is located in Xingping Ancient Town, a bright pearl on the Li River. The Li River makes a big bend here, enclosing Xingping Ancient Town in its arms, making it "the most beautiful ancient town along the Li River" between mountains and rivers. This resort looks more like "Little Yangshuo". The interior landscape is completely a miniature version of the real landscape of Yangshuo. If you can't feel the hotel, you can also appreciate the charm of this place! What's interesting is that you can also wear Hanfu at the resort to experience a "transmigration" plot. Wearing a Hanfu upper body and a bamboo hat, if you hold up an oil-paper umbrella, it will seem more bookish; If you hold a sword, you feel like you are going to "walk the world with your sword" in the next second! The strong sense of Jianghu is not out of harmony at all here, and the concave shape is so concave that it can't stop ~
Compared with the completely natural Sanqian Li Cultural Resort, the Sugar House Hotel located on the edge of the Li River seems to be more "innovative". It was originally an old sugar factory built in the 1960s and was suspended in order to protect the environment. Production, but the building has been completely preserved, so the Sugar House is like a modern art landscape in this mountain valley! The cement factory building and the rusty architecture give a strong industrial style. The Internet celebrity swimming pool cleverly blends the landscape here and the surrounding landscape together. The rooms are basically in a simple modern style, plus a book bar, bar, and specialty restaurants. Against the backdrop, you can not only enjoy modern comfort, but also breathe the purest air in the mountains. You must stay for a few more days next time you have the opportunity!
From Yangshuo to Sanjiang, I am embarrassed to say, I was actually attracted by delicious food! Before going to Sanjiang, I had heard about the name of the Hundred Dong Banquet in Sanjiang, Liuzhou, Guangxi. It would be a pity not to try it once! The Hundred Banquet, also known as the "Long Table Banquet" or "Closed Rice", has a history of hundreds of years. Behind this tradition, there is actually a beautiful blessing of "eating hundreds of meals and receiving hundreds of blessings". It is said that the Baijia Banquet was originally for the villagers to express their gratitude to the benefactor who helped them eliminate the disaster. Every household wanted to hold a banquet in honor of them. However, the benefactor could stay for a limited time, so everyone simply set up a long table and took out their best dishes. Come out to entertain the benefactor, and the custom of "Baijia Banquet" has been passed down to this day.
Today, Baijia Banquets have become the most noble way for the Dong people to entertain guests from afar. In Guandong Village in Sanjiang, the Baijia Banquet has become a tourist business card here. You must experience it when you come to Sanjiang! Long tables were set up one after another. Following the tradition, villagers still brought their own delicious dishes from home. Each table was different. The greatest pleasure for tasting people was that they could eat every table with bowls and chopsticks! Talking and drinking wine, the small amount of food is a bit of a loss, but the lively atmosphere is a reflection of the Dong people's hospitality, and enjoying it is the best feedback. In addition to tasting hundreds of banquets, Guandong Village also has a series of authentic welcome dances and toasts and other welcome ceremonies. Even as a tourist experience, you can still feel the simplicity and original ethnic customs here.
Speaking of the Dong people, Chengyang Bazhai in Sanjiang is quite famous. Chengyang Bazhai is actually eight natural villages with nearly 10,000 Dong people. Because it is a concentrated area, it is very lively during festivals and has a reputation as the "Hometown of Hundreds of Festivals". I heard that during the Spring Festival every year, the "New Year flavor" here is particularly full. Singing, dancing, laughter and laughter can be seen everywhere. Customs and habits also make every tourist who comes to enjoy it. The Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge here can be said to be world-famous because it is currently the largest wind and rain bridge in the world.
Chengyang Fengyu Bridge was built in 1912. It is a wood-stone structure bridge across the Linxi River. It is a typical Dong style building. According to some sources, Chengyang Fengyu Bridge is one of the four famous historical bridges in the world that is as famous as the Shigong Zhaozhou Bridge, the Iron Chain Luding Bridge, and the Wo Bridge on the Steel Beam Nova in Rome. In this way, there is no need to rivet buildings, which can help passers-by shelter from the wind and rain. It also contains the Dong people's yearning for life. There is even a touching legend behind it of a loving couple being rescued by a flower dragon. Legend has it that in ancient times, a young loving couple crossed the bridge. The crab spirit in the river under the bridge caused trouble because it took a fancy to their beautiful wife and swept her away. Her husband cried anxiously by the river, but because he couldn't save him, he considered throwing himself into the river and dying for love. The crying alarmed the flower dragon at the bottom of the river. It couldn't bear to see the couple separated, so it flew out and killed the crab spirit, allowing the couple to reunite. Later, in order to commemorate the flower dragon, people changed the small wooden bridge into a wind-rain bridge like a gallery, and the image of the flower dragon was engraved on the bridge. Walking here, I seem to have a sense of security that I am protected all the time ~
And on the night in Sanjiang, fortunately, there are performances to enjoy! Perhaps compared with other methods, visual presentation is one of the fastest ways for tourists to experience ethnic customs. This is the case with "Dong Listening to the Three Rivers". The venue for the performance is very convenient. It is right opposite the Sanjiang Jingxiang Hotel where we stayed. The actors are all wearing traditional Dong costumes. The theme of "water" runs through the entire performance, vividly displaying the national characteristics. The performances on the stage The national festivals, marriage customs, farming life and other plots all make people feel immersive. The interactive and immersive experience is unforgettable after seeing it, as if the stage is their real daily life and we are not the audience. It was a group of bystanders who witnessed them working hard on this land for a better life.
This trip to Guangxi was much more exciting than last year! The scenery may not have changed much, but the body and soul have gained a lot. Between movement and stillness, Guangxi's image has become more vivid and three-dimensional. The ethnic customs here are also nostalgic. The hospitality and enthusiasm of the local people make people reluctant to leave. If you have the opportunity to come to Guangxi again, it would be best to really integrate into the local area to experience the festive customs and enjoy the excitement here., and also enjoy the tranquility here. Everything is the most "Guangxi" look...
