introduction

Those fleeting brilliance
It's exploding fireworks
That dazzling fire
Burning you and me
That unforgettable love
Always brings me harm
That plain life
Hot because of you…

The dullness of life as water cannot cover up the inner restlessness, and the annoyance and hardship of work cannot erase the high spirits of youth. The time with you is always short, the time with you is always so unforgettable, the time with you is always hot, hot, and always plain and peaceful, just like the water of the Lijiang River, the mountains of Yangshuo, the waves of the Longjing River, and the song of a girl in the Longji Terrace...

Guilin is a magical and familiar land
The magic is because of the unique karst natural landform and the ethnic and cultural atmosphere that embraces Vientiane. The familiarity is because of the famous sentence in the primary school textbook: "Guilin's mountains and rivers are the best in the world" and the photo of Elephant Trunk Mountain.

This place is located in southern China, connecting Liuzhou to the southwest and Hezhou to the east. There are mountains, basins, mountains, rivers and lakes, and outstanding people. This is a place where people can forget their troubles, and it is also a place where people can see the world. A place where everything is happening.

Longji terrace

In September 2019, as autumn grew stronger, we decided to go to Guilin to start our trip. We searched the Internet for guides, checked air tickets, booked hotels, browsed attractions, and planned routes... The two of us happily planned our trip every day. We discussed various possibilities and changed our travel plans again and again. It turned out that our arrangements were extremely fulfilling and happy every day after five days.

Along the way, we met many friendly and enthusiastic local residents, saw many niche scenery that we couldn't see during group tours, heard many secret and interesting stories about this place, and discovered many ancient towns and villages that were not mentioned in the guides and travel notes. Maybe this is the true meaning of free travel.

The five-day itinerary includes basically all the essential routes except Yinziyan. Yinziyan is because we have been to the underground Grand Canyon in Linyi and seen the same cave scenery. After looking at the photos taken by netizens online, we can basically imagine the beauty, so we unanimously agreed to omit this attraction.

Jingjiang wangfu

Jingjiang Palace/Duxiu Peak Recommendation Index ★

Jingjiang wangfu

△ The entrance needs to pass through a long doorway, and you will see a different scenery when you walk through it. Ancient trees reach the sky and carved beams and painted buildings, which is a bit like Tao Yuanming's Story of Peach Blossom Land

The first stop is Duxiu Peak in Jingjiang Wangcheng. This is a cultural and historical attraction. There are still classrooms and dormitories of the History Department of Guangxi Normal University in the royal city. In addition to the strong historical atmosphere, walking inside also gives you a sense of campus nostalgia. Propaganda poster boards and student dormitory drying racks can be seen everywhere, imagine how comfortable it would be to live and study in this place with a strong historical atmosphere.

King Jingjiang was the official title established by Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, for his nephew. There is also a tortuous origin. You can learn more about children's shoes when you go here. The King of Jingjiang has been passed down for 14 generations, and has lived in this palace for generations. This place can be said to be Guilin's best feng shui treasure place. It is backed by Duxiu Peak and surrounded by two rivers of water on both sides, which is in line with the traditional Chinese Yin and Yang method. Each mansion gate is set up according to the five elements of gold, wood, water, fire and earth. It can be said to be a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architectural culture.

Attractions in Guilin will be developed "in depth". There are many self-funded and fee-based projects. The seemingly free tour guide services actually have "content". This should remind everyone to follow your heart, and follow your heart. Don't be fooled easily. Of course, the most important thing about coming out is to have fun. I recommend that you go in and visit by yourself. When you encounter an attraction, follow other groups and explain it, and continue walking if you feel it's almost time. Don't waste too much time.

△ The environment of the palace is elegant and clean, with birds singing and flowers fragrant

△ In 1921, Sun Yat-sen supervised the Northern Expedition and was stationed here. This place is also regarded as a red tourist attraction. In September 1925, in order to commemorate Sun Yat-sen and commemorate the reunification of Guangxi, Bai Chongxi and other Kuomintang people built a monument and a memorial pavilion at Sun Yat-sen's Northern Expedition station.

Coming out of the royal city is Duxiu Peak. This mountain rises from the ground and has no transition on both sides. It looks like a screen standing behind the royal palace. There are no buildings that are too tall in the urban area of Guilin. It is said that all buildings are limited to Duxiu Peak. This allows us to look up at this peak without being distracted by the abrupt modern buildings. This is still very good.

△ A large number of cliff stone carvings are preserved on Duxiu Peak. The famous saying "Guilin's mountains and rivers are the best in the world" is derived from Wang Zhenggong's "Poetry of Persuasion·Second" in the Southern Song Dynasty. The original work can be seen in rubbings and was also marked with red.

The steps on Duxiu Peak are very slippery and steep, but the mountain is not high, so you can reach the top soon. You can overlook the urban area of Guilin. Because there are a large number of buildings, you can only see the mountains piled up from afar. Fortunately, there are no tall buildings blocking the line of sight. It's good.

△ Coming out of the imperial city is Dongxi Lane. This is a newly built commercial street. There are not many people at noon. Both sides of the street are full of antique buildings and various small shops, which is no different from ancient streets in other places in China.

We experienced authentic Guilin rice noodles for the first time in East and West Alley. Minggui Rice Noodle is a chain rice noodle shop in Guilin. It can be seen in many places. The taste is not very good, but it is also higher than that of ordinary small shops. Due to the rush or high expectations, we didn't feel much after eating rice noodles. After eating, we rushed to Xiaoyao Building.

△ The signboards on the East and West Alley are still made with national characteristics.

Xiaoyao Building Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★

Passing through the East and West Alley, and then walking through a cultural corridor, Xiaoyao Tower reveals her true appearance in just 15 minutes 'walk. In Guilin, I can pass by this small building every time in the past few days. I feel like I have been walking around this building. Maybe Guilin City is too small.

△ Xiaoyao Tower was built in the Tang Dynasty. It is the east tower of Guizhou City in the Tang Dynasty. On top of it is the stone tablet of "Xiaoyao Tower" written by Yan Zhenqing.

△ Sister Nan is very interested in the copper lion handle on the big copper nail door of Xiaoyao Building

△ Standing on the Xiaoyao Building overlooking the Li River and the mountains in the distance, the landscape of the Li River has begun to slowly reveal its mysterious veil, which makes me look forward to the trip to the Li River even more.

△ Corner of Xiaoyao Building. Ancient Chinese buildings with regular standards have a strong sense of ceremony. Although Xiaoyao Building was rebuilt in a later stage, its character and momentum still remain.

△ Xiaoyao Building

Xiangbi Mountain Park Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★

Coming out of Xiaoyao Building, we swept the Alipay on the roadside and rode straight to Xiangbei Mountain Park. Because we bought a joint ticket for Elephant Trunk Mountain and Jingjiang Royal City, we could only get tickets from Gate 3 to enter the park. Gate 1 we passed by couldn't get in, reminding everyone to check in advance where to get tickets.

We mixed in with the surging army of electric vehicles at the peak hours of work in Guilin and rode towards our destination. The electric cars here are the overlord on the road. All cars need to give way to electric cars. Trams can run rampant in the middle of the road, which makes me panic, but immediately I feel like a Guilin road bully. Maybe this is a kind of joy that you will never experience in Qingdao (please don't follow suit, safety first, safety first...)

Entering the park from Gate 3, we entered the elephant's tail. At this time, the elephant's trunk was invisible at all. We walked around Elephant Trunk Mountain counterclockwise. This is the wine-making base of Guilin Sanhua Liquor. From time to time, there is the smell of a broken grape. I guess it should be the reason for the wine-making. There is no aroma at this stage.

△ I walked around Elephant Trunk Mountain and walked behind it. When I saw the elephant's trunk up close, the huge natural circular arch was still very shocking. There were many cliff stone carvings by literati and literati. It seems that the ancients liked to scribble on scenic spots and historic sites. It's just that celebrities 'scribble became part of the historic sites, and ordinary people's scribble... Well, I can only get a fine next to it... Hey, I didn't hear it...

△ There are many roads around Elephant Trunk Mountain that lead to the top of the mountain. I chose the one behind and climbed up the steps along the stone road. The mountain is not high and I can reach the top of the mountain quickly.

Standing on the Elephant Trunk Mountain Observation Deck and overlooking the city of Guilin, the scenery is different from Duxiu Peak and Xiaoyao Tower.

Go around and walk a little further and you will be able to see the panoramic view of Elephant Trunk Mountain from afar. Many people take photos here. This scenic spot has also become a business card for Guilin. It seems that if you come to Guilin, you can't make a card here. Of course, we also have a feeling from when we were young. We were very excited to see Elephant Trunk Mountain for the first time. It was like the image in our mind had finally come true. This feeling was beyond words.

Walking straight along the road, there is a love island with various sculptures symbolizing love, and then we leave from entrance one.

We were hungry after coming out of Elephant Trunk Mountain. After sweeping away the motorcycles on the roadside, we continued to join the army of electric motorcycles and head towards Chunji Roast Goose to experience the delicious taste of the local roast geese.

Roast goose must be ordered, and I ordered a swordbone fish and beer fish, as well as two soups. In addition to roast geese, beer fish is also very good. For us who have been tired all day, this is simply a delicacy in the world...

Recommended index for night riding on two rivers and four lakes ★ ★ ★

After dinner, continue to ride a bicycle around the two rivers and four lakes. Of course, the most famous of the two rivers and four lakes are the Sun and Moon Twin Towers. There are various disturbances during the day, but at night, this place becomes the world of the Sun and Moon Twin Towers. The two towers are white and yellow, one high and one low, reflected on the lake. It is really beautiful.

Cycling is not allowed in the park. We walked along the lake bank and photographed all the way. The park is also full of tourists. Some go on boats to tour the lake, some go in groups, some dance square dances, some do small businesses, and some are in a daze by the lake... People of all kinds flow endlessly, and the big park actually means congestion and busy. It seems that Guilin's nightlife is centered around the park. I greatly admire the square dance ladies here. The Spanish Paso Dove dance is as powerful as a rainbow and vigorous. This is a unique international style that can only be nurtured by the two rivers and four lakes, which shows the pride and satisfaction of the people living here.

DAY2: Longji Terrace--Dawei Ancient Town

Guilin--Hongyao Changfa Village Watching a performance--Family restaurant farm banquet--Jinkeng Dazhai Terrace--Dawei Ancient Town Check-in hotel

Longji Terrace Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

The next day was the long-awaited trip to Longji Terrace. I have long heard of the beauty of Dragon's spine, and this day's trip is one of the most exciting attractions we look forward to. Longji Terrace is more than 20 kilometers away from the county seat. It is known as the "World's Crown Terrace". The most classic ones are Ping 'an Zhuangzhai Terrace and Jinkeng Hongyao Terrace. Ping 'an Zhuangzhai terraced fields were developed earlier, with complete facilities and close distances, making it the first choice for many tour groups. The Jinkeng Hongyao Terrace was developed relatively late, but the scenery was more magnificent and it was the only terrace with a cableway, so we decided to target the Jinkeng Terrace.

For breakfast, we decided to take a taxi to the Laodongjiang Rice Noodle Main Store to have authentic Guilin rice noodles. We notified the driver who picked up the car to pick us up directly from Laodongjiang, and the driver readily agreed.

The authentic Guilin rice noodles really live up to their reputation. The most authentic way to eat it is this kind of stewed vegetable powder. The rice noodles are blanched with boiling water and drained, then add brine and oil, then add dry fried peanuts and dried soybeans, add crispy pan to roast and add stewed beef, you can also add stewed pork, fried pork intestines, fried tripe, etc., the remaining side dishes need to be added according to your personal taste. Of course, there are many kinds, you can add chopped green onion, chili sauce, sour beans, shredded pickled mustard, etc., which will definitely satisfy the picky you. In addition, we need to remind everyone that authentic Guilin rice noodles are eaten first and then drank soup. Locals add bone soup after eating the dry powder. Those who pick up the flour and pour the soup are all tourists from other places. Maybe this is what we call "original soup for original food", which is the same reason as drinking dumpling soup after eating dumplings.

After experiencing the authentic Guilin rice noodles, the Longji Terrace started to walk ~~

Tips:
1. The Longji Terrace is far away from Guilin and needs to be arranged for at least a full day. There are many ways to travel in Longji, so you can charter a car to go there

, you can rent a car
, you can also take the bus to go there
, chartered cars are also divided into bus or business or car. Of course, each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. We chose the commercial car package on Ctrip for small group tours, with 8 people forming a group. The whole journey is high-speed, convenient and fast, and there is no need to change cars.(Only vehicles with less than 7 seats can be allowed to pass through the Longji Terrace to the parking lot at the foot of the mountain. Both large and small buses need to be transferred to small cars to go up the mountain, while commercial buses can go directly to the cableway up the mountain.) The tour guide Xiao Yang is very considerate and very kind. He explains the attractions throughout the entire process and also helps us carry boxes and buy tickets, etc. I must give you a thumbs up for this!
2. The terraces are located in the mountains. Although there are stone roads built, they are deep and tortuous. Walking up and down is a particularly painful and arduous task (of course, people with good physical strength can try it). It is recommended to use a one-way cableway to walk up and down the mountain. It is 50-way round-trip 100. This not only saves time and physical strength, but also allows you to fully experience the beauty of the Longji Terrace from a different perspective. We also chose the two-way cableway because we wanted to save physical strength. We just walked down the mountain for a while and then returned to the top of the mountain to take the cableway. I think this short walk up the mountain was extremely painful, and it was not as pleasant as walking down the mountain.
3. The most beautiful thing about the Longji Terrace is actually the sunrise and sunset. Friends who know photography know that the light is the softest in the morning and evening, and the light intensity, angle, color temperature, etc. are also the most suitable for taking photos. Therefore, children's shoes who have enough time or want to take a large photo can choose to stay on the mountain for one night. You can stay in a suspended building in the mountains to experience the local customs, or you can stay in a hotel for safety and comfort.
4. You can go and watch the Hongyao Changfa Village performance in Jinkeng. Overall, it is very good. 60 per person is still worth the ticket price. However, you need to be cautious when you go on stage to be a groom because you need to have a "gift" to exchange with the bride. Of course, this is also a kind of A very good life experience, children's shoes can decide on their own.

△ The century-old ancient wooden house in Changfa Village of Hongyao still retains the living scenes of local people. Below is the place for storage and livestock and poultry breeding, and above is the place where people live. Guangxi is humid and rainy all year round, and this kind of hanging building is the most typical local way of living. Nowadays, the villagers are getting richer and building houses with concrete. There are fewer and fewer such original ecological suspended buildings.

△ Ancient villages, calls from ancient places, mysterious Hongyao Village hidden in the mountains.

△ Hongyao Ancient Village. The long pole standing outside the house is a unique way to get married here. If the young man likes a girl from this family, he will climb up the pole at night. If the girl also intends to open the window to let the young man in. If he doesn't like it, he will pour a basin of cold water on it... It still feels quite sour.

△ The Yao grannies selling handmade handicrafts in the village must be very old, but their bodies are still strong. Wearing huge earrings over the years has made their ears hollow bigger and bigger, which is also their unique national characteristic.

△ Hongyao Changfa Village performs dressing up. They cut their hair once in their lives. When they are adults, they usually wrap up all the hair they lost in adulthood and the hair they fall off in their lives. Unmarried young women must wrap all their hair and not show it to others. Only after they get married can they show it. In part, this nation does have a strong belief in and dependence on hair.

△ Take the cableway up the mountain and have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery

Jinkeng Dazhai Jinfoding Observation Platform

△ Walking down the mountain and getting close to the terraces, different perspectives will make different discoveries.

△ Sing folk songs ~~~~~ Hey hey hey ~~ Here ~~ Sing ~~ That side and ~~~ That side and ~~~ That side and ~~

It was already past 7 o'clock in the evening when we came down from the mountain and returned to Guilin. Our last dinner in downtown Guilin was locked in the Guike Dining Room. We wanted to try it last time, but we ended up going to Chunji Roast Goose. This time, we can't miss this opportunity.

△ Passion fruit crispy tenderloin

△ Lijiang shrimp with leek yellow

△ Steamed sword bone fish with black pepper

Although the Lijiang shrimp is small, it tastes delicious and has a layered taste combined with the tenacity of leeks. Sword bone fish also tastes great. The soft glutinous fish is mixed with the rich soup, and the fat and tender taste is irresistible. Although passion fruit crispy tenderloin is a relatively common dish, it adds a bit of Guilin charm to the accompaniment of passion fruit.

We took a taxi to the hotel in Dawei Ancient Town when we were full of wine and food. Although Dawei Ancient Town was not as prosperous as Xingping Ancient Town, it had a more peaceful and restrained temperament.

We booked the Guzhenjiang Jing Hotel located on the riverside. This was the most unforgettable accommodation experience of our trip.

It was already 9 o'clock in the evening when I arrived at the Jiangjing Hotel. It was dark outside, because it was no better than Guilin City. There was no lighting, only the lights of thousands of homes.

The biggest reason for choosing this hotel is that it is close to Mopanshan Pier, which makes it convenient to take a bus to the pier the next day and down the Lijiang River. The most important thing is that the hotel will provide free drop-off service, so that we have no worries about transportation. The most important thing is that the hotel is built on the riverside, and the door will provide an invincible view of the Lijiang River.

The next morning before dawn, my insufferable curiosity prompted me to wake up early, open the curtains, push open the sliding door, and step into the balcony. The beautiful scenery in front of me was shocking. Although the scenery is not as enchanting as the mountains and rivers in the essence of the Li River behind, the Li River before sunrise has a different style.

The ancient town with curling smoke nearby is hidden among lush vegetation, and the rolling landscape of the Li River in the distance is painted on the dense sky before sunrise, just like a painter dipping in a sheep's hair full of emotion and poetry and spreading it wantonly on raw rice paper. A small boat rippled across the river facing the morning glow, waving a touch of sadness on the quiet water...

This scene is unforgettable

△ Li River before sunrise

△ Facing the Lijiang River, you can also bloom in warm spring

DAY3: Lijiang River-Yangshuo

Ancient Zhenjiang Jing Hotel--Mopanshan Wharf--Lijiang River--Yangshuo--Jiji Courtyard Hotel--Shili Gallery Cycling--West Street

The third day's itinerary was mainly for a tour of the Li River. We booked the Samsung ferry ticket online in advance, but it was still a little late. We didn't book until 9:00, and we missed the 9:30. We finally booked 10:00 and waited at the dock in vain. It took an hour. We took our luggage and went down the Yangtze River to Yangshuo, so that we didn't have to go back. There was a special place for our luggage on the ship, and everyone could rest assured of this.

Tips:
1. There are also many ways to tour the Li River. You can take a three-star cruise ship (at Mopanshan Wharf) or a four-star cruise ship (at Zhujiang Wharf). This method is the most common and comfortable. You can take 360° without dead spots along the way. Take photos, and enjoy enthusiastic explanations from tour guides. You can also eat fish, shrimp and fresh water from the Li River. The disadvantage is that the speed is too fast, the scenic spots wait for no one, and it is not flexible enough. I can only get off the boat at Yangshuo without stopping the whole journey. Another way is to ride a "bamboo raft". Of course, this is an improved bamboo raft. It is actually made of plastic pipes and has a motor at the back. One boat can seat four people. In this way, you can experience the mountains and rivers of the Li River closer, and you can also choose the most essential sections of key tours, eliminating the boring wait later. The disadvantage is that you can only sit and not stand up throughout the entire process, the camera angle is limited, and the loud motor sound inevitably makes people disappointed. Everyone decides what method to choose.
2. Choosing a cruise ship to visit the Lijiang River, I recommend everyone to purchase a photo service on board. Although mobile phones are becoming more and more powerful and many people are carrying SLRs, cruise ships are extremely fast, and many famous attractions may only have the best shooting period of 5 minutes. The best shooting angles on board are given priority to paying tourists. The key is that the photographer will remind you to explain to you at every attraction you visit and will not leave you any regrets.

Lijiang Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

A big wave of beautiful scenery is coming...

△ The Li River is like a picture, slowly unfolding in front of you

△ I don't want to say anything, just want to enjoy this moment and this moment

△ Ships are walking in the river, people are swimming in paintings

△ This attraction is called Seal Watching the Sky. Does it look like it?

△ This is called Crown Mountain, which looks like the crown of an ancient emperor

△ Beautiful arcs and unique shapes, this is the place where you can use your imagination recklessly

△ Although this mountain is nameless, it looks like a handsome Chinchilo sitting there. Let's call it Chinchilo Guanshan for the time being

△ The famous stroke of the country is very vivid

△ Nine horses painted mountains, which is the most famous mountain. Because Premier Zhou's trip was famous, Premier Zhou counted nine horses. How many can you count?

△ 20-round background photo of Xingping Ancient Town

The most essential attractions of the Li River are concentrated in the section from Yangdi to Xingping. There was no one on the deck of Xingping when the boat passed, leaving only the two of us still intoxicated in the scorching sun. Although the boat takes more than 4 hours, the time to pass through the beautiful scenery is still limited. You must be prepared, otherwise it will be easy to miss it.

The boat docked at Yangshuo Wharf at around 2 p.m. For the next two and a half days, I will spend the next two and a half days in and around Yangshuo.
Although Yangshuo is a county town, it is much more prosperous than Guilin City, mainly because it is full of mountains and scenery. Basically, there is a mountain view outside any hotel you stay in. This may not be anything to locals who are accustomed to it, but it is a great benefit for tourists from afar.

The most famous one in Yangshuo is West Street. I heard from locals that West Street was not called this name before. Because in the early years, Chinese people had no idea of traveling, let alone going to bars, many foreigners gathered in that place. Gradually, that street became known as Yang Street. Later, more and more Chinese people became more and more, Yang Street began to get bigger and bigger. Yang Street was renamed West Street. Now that West Street has become more famous, consumption has also increased. Many foreigners have left. The hustle and bustle is full of Chinese people, but it is still a gathering place for foreigners in many authentic restaurants and bars. The huge inclusiveness here has also become a unique scenery in Yangshuo.

The hotel we stayed at in Yangshuo is called Jiji Courtyard Hotel. It is a small boutique hotel with a B & B. It is located next to Guilin's Eternal Love. Although the decoration here is not much of a design sense, it incorporates the boss's own unique aesthetics and taste, giving people the feeling of warmth and kindness, like home. The boss often sits on the rosewood tea table in the lobby to drink tea, wine tasting and listen to music. Occasionally, he brings their homemade snacks for us to taste. He also enthusiastically introduces his hotel, Yangshuo, and himself.

△ The hotel's little Shiba Inu, the beautiful beauty "Duoduo", ignored us at first. She just slept and stretched on the ground every day. After two days, she became familiar with each other. She would take the initiative to rub us and eagerly ask us for snacks in our hands.

For lunch, we had beer fish at Yuqing Farmhouse next to the hotel. Yangshuo is full of beer fish restaurants, with various brands and chains emerging one after another, and the prices and quality are also uneven. However, this small shop recommended by the hotel tastes very good. We swept away a pot of beer fish and a vegetable.

We decided to rent a hotel's electric motorcycle and ride the famous Shili Gallery first to feel the shock of "Guilin's mountains and rivers are the best in the world, and Yangshuo's mountains and rivers dominate Guilin".

Shili Gallery Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★ ★

△ Shili Gallery Gongnong Bridge Wharf, this is the end point of the Yulong River rafting, and it is also the place we will go tomorrow.

Shili Gallery is a long road. Cars are restricted inside and only residents are allowed to drive inside. There are endless picturesque scenery on both sides of the road. It seems to be a road riding version of the Li River. Along the way, it is different from sailing on the river by boat. Feeling. There are many branch attractions, some of which require tickets and some of which do not. We came to this Qinglong Bridge by mistake. The antique stone bridge complements the beautiful scenery under the sunset, and the light and shadow under the sunset are also particularly charming.

Yangshuo Electric motorcycles are our main means of transportation these days. They are flexible and compact, can shade the sun, travel far, can be used as a photo tool, can travel slowly, or can fly quickly. It is much more convenient than cars.

△ In the small town and the Yulong River under the sunset, smoke curled from the distant kitchens, and fishermen were fishing. Mountains, water, people, and residences, they will always be symbiotic, and they will always be so harmonious and beautiful.

△ Take a selfie from the last corner of the sunset. There are no stands and no passers-by, so my Sony can only shoot on the ground. Fortunately, this angle is really good, and the stars from the small aperture are also very charming. However, the sunset was too short, and the sun soon set on the other side of the mountain.

△ After sunset, the Yulong River returns to Gongnong Bridge again, and the scenery you see is completely different. What a beautiful scenery with the same color of water and sky.

After the day's trip, we start walking on the West Street at night ~

Before we reached West Street, the prosperity hit our face, and the streets around West Street also became lively. The road was filled with pedestrians, and shops large and small were full of colorful buildings, and were brightly lit. We followed the large army of people to stroll along the West Street.

△ There are various bars here, which can satisfy your various imaginations of bars.

△ Let's have authentic German hot dog sausage for dinner. After that, I didn't forget to take a photo with the enthusiastic German uncle.

△ We chose a quiet bar that is very popular on the Internet, called Meet. When we went there, there were not many people inside. The overall feeling was that it was Indonesian indigenous and original. With the lighting, the atmosphere was very full. The boss is a girl with short hair and a very magnetic voice, and the resident singer is also very skilled. I prefer this low-key and reserved feeling than those bars that are swaggering outside to solicit customers. Order a cocktail, listen to the song in a slightly tipsy state, and the slightly tipsy life actually just wants to meet you.

DAY4: Around Yangshuo

Yulong River Rafting--Ancient Town in Jiuxian County--Fuli Bridge--World Taoyuan--Yangshuo Hand-shredded Chicken---Eternal Love Performance--Hotel

Yulong River Rafting Recommended Index ★ ★ ★

On the fourth day, we booked tickets for Yulong River rafting online early in the morning. Yulong River rafting is now subject to unified government ticketing and pricing. Two seats for chartered boats are 255. I heard that the price of private bamboo rafts was cheap in the past, only 180 yuan per boat. However, the phenomenon of asking for prices per customer is also very serious. Government unified control is still beneficial.

Tips:
1. It is recommended to go early for Yulong River rafting, because the sun is not so strong in the morning and it will not be very hot, and the photos are also good, especially in summer, you must go earlier, otherwise people will feel uncomfortable when it is hot at noon.
2. Sunburn! Sunburn! Sunburn! Be sure to protect yourself from sun. Needless to say, you must take an umbrella. Just because I only put on sun protection and did not take an umbrella, my legs and feet were burned by the sun
3. There are many sections of the Yulong River rafting. We chose the section from Jinlong Bridge to Jiuxian, and we can also go to Gongnong Bridge, which is Shili Gallery. In fact, every paragraph has some similarities and some differences, so you can choose according to the situation.
4. Regarding wearing, be sure to wear slippers, sandals or a pair, it is best to wear shorts, because the gap in some places is large, water will splash on clothes and shoes, and it is still very uncomfortable to wear wet clothes.
5. There are different opinions on the Internet regarding the issue of teachers 'tips. Based on my own personal experience, it is still necessary to tip the teachers, because the Yulong River is all manually supported by the teachers, and the pace is controlled by him. The teachers keep racing quickly and quickly. The paddling may end in 40 minutes, but if you give the teachers a little hard work, you will get a lot of value-for-money VIP privileges, about 30 to 80, with different services available at different prices. First of all, he will find an angle for you to stop and take photos at the scenic spots, he will also help you take a group photo, and he will explain to you the stories of each section of the mountain and every scene. Secondly, he will find a wide place with gentle water so that you can experience the feeling of punting for yourself. It is truly worthwhile. The most important thing is that he will not rush for time, but he will slowly row and chat, so that you can slowly experience and slowly enter this picturesque fairyland.

△ This mountain is like a lion lying there. I forgot its original name. Anyway, I call it Simba Mountain. Isn't it very willful ~~

△ This mountain looks like a nest no matter what angle you look at.

△ Pointing to the country and passionate writing, quite the demeanor of a leader.

△ The river is crystal clear to the bottom. It is really the saying that green waters and green mountains are invaluable assets.

△ Experience the hard work of the bamboo raft master. Supporting a bamboo raft is really a technical job. It is easy for inexperienced novices to let the boat go big or simply keep circling in place. The master looked at our miserable appearance, and he was leisurely on the side. He was probably very happy. This sample is not that easy to learn. It's not as simple as imagined.

In the end, the boat successfully arrived at the Jiuxian Pier. There is a paid tram service at Jinlong Bridge upstream. He can help you ride to the Jiuxian County for only 30 yuan. This is still very convenient, and people arrive by car. After getting off the boat, I thanked the master. The master was also very happy. A big man who was usually not good at words slowly became more talkative along the way, so I always felt that the money was very worth it.

I heard from the master that Jiuxian is also a very ancient town with a history of more than 700 years. In the past, the old county existed before Yangshuo. Later, the administrative and economic center moved to Yangshuo, and the old county gradually became "old". Stepping on the electric motorcycle, we are ready to visit this mysterious Gu County city.

Old County Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

△ Ancient Town of Jiuxian County

Riding an electric motorcycle through a winding and deep country road, ancient buildings stand in front of you. To me, these century-old antiques seem to have life. They are silent and unknown, but they have witnessed China's history one after another, bearing the memory of pride, humiliation, excitement, or glory of the Chinese nation in different historical periods.

We wanted to follow the historic sites and visit the inside, but an old lady walked out. I asked where this was. She said this was my home. I just glanced around in a hurry. The main hall inside was still arranged in accordance with traditional Chinese standards, with an Eight Immortals table in the middle, with Nanguan hat chairs on both sides, and guests on both sides. Above the Eight Immortals Table are hung genealogy and photos, carrying the history of the building. I asked how old the building was, and the grandma said that it was more than 700 years old, and her family has lived here for generations.

△ The stone monuments outside the building bear witness to the glory and glory here. The owner here was a Jinshi during the Guangxu period, and many national heroes were born here during the Anti-Japanese War. I think as a descendant of Jinshi and heroes, the old lady should be full of pride.

△ Gables of ancient buildings in Jiuxian County and peaks outside the village.

△ Ancient buildings in Jiuxian County, deep courtyards, high walls and gray tiles, and four large characters "Li Mansion Bieyuan" are written on them. At a glance, it is obvious that a famous family lived. Across the Moon Arch is another small courtyard. Although there are signs of ruin inside, melodious tunes from local opera can be heard from the room. Because of the offense I just gave me, I dare not go deeper and leave a space for memories and imagination.

△ The dilapidated courtyard and the decadent sound coming from it. I don't know what happened here, nor what the future fate of this place will be, let alone what kind of person lives inside the door...

△ Although it is far away from the hustle and bustle of the world and not many people know about it, there are still many commercial traces. Next to it is a B & B and cafe, as well as scattered inn restaurants hidden within it.

We didn't stay too long and ate at a restaurant called Li Zi Farmhouse Fan in Xin County. On the wall is a group photo of the landlady and famous film and television actor Li Baotian. The landlady introduced that this was the restaurant where Li Baotian and the crew came here to shoot, so there was a group photo on the wall. Jiuxian has such a strong sense of time, and it is indeed a good place to film.

While eating, we quickly charged the electric motorcycle in the store. Today's trip was really a long time, and I was afraid that it would be miserable if there was no electricity halfway.

The next destination is Fuli Bridge, located upstream of Jinlong Bridge. It is the source of the Yulong River and an ancient bridge with a history of more than 500 years.
Cycling from Jiuxian County to Fuli Bridge can be described as tortuous and bumpy. There are no main roads. Most of the road you walk are rural roads. It is also a unique experience to see the countryside along the way.

Fuliqiao Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★

△ Fuli Bridge was built in the Ming Dynasty. The bridge body is completely integrated with the surrounding environment. The mottled stones have experienced hundreds of years of wind and sun, witnessing the ups and downs of the tides here. Ancient trees stand tall on both sides of the bridge, and vines are intertwined on the bridge. There are no traces of human destruction and development. This place is still worth visiting.

△ Stand on Fuli Bridge and look at the beautiful scenery of the Yulong River.

After appreciating the style of the ancient bridge, we continued to ride north to the scenic spot of World Paradise.

World Taoyuan Recommendation Index ★

World Paradise is actually a semi-artificial attraction. I personally don't recommend it, but there is really no place to go around, so I can only go there and try my luck. You can change your itinerary here to Yinziyan.

There was another special experience for our trip to paradise outside the world. When we rode to the gate of Shiwai Taoyuan, many local villagers surrounded us. We were startled at the time, and later learned that they were locals selling tickets. Most of the tourists here are group tours. The ticket is 60 per person. After entering, they board the boat and walk around the prescribed route. They pass through a cave and enter a so-called peach blossom forest. Then they watch performances by ethnic minorities. Finally, they return to the dock, and the whole journey is about 15 minutes. Because the villagers were familiar with the local environment, they would take us in by land without requiring tickets. We would have 30 people per person. We could see all the attractions on the boat tour, and we could take photos and stay as we wished. The most important thing was that the villager's elder sister also said at that time It was possible to charge the tram, which was very tempting for us who had always been worried about mileage, so we chose the villagers 'route.

At first, we always felt cheated because we were not following the same route as the main troops. We walked down the stairs in a shaky manner, but found that only by taking land could we appreciate the beauty here. I was tired from walking all the way and asked for half a watermelon from a stall on the roadside. I didn't expect this to be the best watermelon I have ever eaten in my life. It was grown by the local residents themselves. The flesh of the melon is particularly tender and moist. It's really different from what I eat outside.

The eldest sister of the stall owner was very enthusiastic and chatted with us when she had nothing to do. She said that this place used to be full of peach trees all over the mountains and plains, a veritable paradise. Later, a boss took a fancy to it and bought the surrounding mountains and surrounding land at a very low price to develop it into a tourist attraction. However, in the future, planting peach trees became less and less profitable. Later, we could only make some fake peach trees. It was difficult to tell whether they were real or fake from a distance. When we went there, there was a black net around the peach garden, and we couldn't see the inside at all while sitting on the boat. It's really a trap.

Guilin Eternal Love Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★ ★

In the evening, we had dinner in Yangshuo and arrived at the last stop of the day. Guilin Eternal Love, Eternal Love series has always been praised as a "must-see performance in a lifetime", director Huang Qiaoling. In fact, we have been struggling with whether to look at Lao Mozi's impression of Sanjie Liu or Guilin's eternal feelings. In fact, the two have different focuses and different performance forms, so they are both worth seeing. Because we have seen Sanya's Eternal Love Performance in Sanya before, and we still remember the stage with sound and electric lighting effects and immersive performances, we are still full of expectations for Guilin's Eternal Love.

We watched the performance at 7 p.m.. When we entered, it was already dark and many outdoor performances inside had ended. We entered the performance hall directly.

The performance is divided into chapters such as "The Call of the Ancient Times","Flying Song of the Earth","Rice Noodles","Jingjiang Palace" and "Sister Liu". The story has a strong sense of substitution. The director uses a variety of expression techniques to constantly break through your imagination for the stage drama. Limit, bringing people a strong sensory shock and a visual feast.

DAY5: Xingping Ancient Town

Watching the sunrise on Xianggong Mountain-Xingping Ancient Town-Longjing River Rafting-The small shop for lunch in Xingping Ancient Town-Yangshuo-Airport

As for the last day of the trip, it seems quite legendary. The last day happened to be the day when the triathlon competition was held in Yangshuo. The surrounding areas of Yangshuo, including the Shili Gallery on West Street in Yangshuo City, were closed and restricted to all major attractions on the main road, starting from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Seeing this news, our hearts dropped. All day tours, chartered tours and other tour groups in the city have been suspended for one day. Travel in the city is also restricted, and the surrounding areas are not allowed. Are we going to the roadside to watch Iron Man running, swimming, and riding bicycles on this day?

Later that night, we decided to take a taxi to Xianggong Mountain to watch the sunrise, and then transferred to the dock to cross the river by boat to Xingping Ancient Town. The sunrise on Xianggong Mountain is past 6 o'clock. We get up at 4:30 and leave at 5:00. We arrive around 5:40, just in time to avoid the traffic restriction. The taxi fare is about 70 yuan. In fact, qualified children's shoes can sign up for a one-day tour group. There are only more than 90 people per person. I had no choice but to ask many tour groups to close down for a day, so I had to take a taxi.

In the morning, we were awakened by the alarm clock in our sleep. After washing our eyes with sleepy eyes, we drove to Xianggong Mountain in a half-asleep and half-awake state. I only remember that along the way, the Didi driver operated like a tiger, all kinds of country roads, all kinds of sharp turns, and finally the sky slowly lit up when we reached Xianggong Mountain.

At 5:40, the Xianggong Mountain parking lot was already full. I thought I might have come too late. The ticket for Xianggong Mountain Gate is 30 per person. The mountain climbing road is very gentle and comfortable, and you can reach the top of the mountain in basically 10 minutes. The mountaintop observation deck is divided into many floors. The highest floor has long been crowded. Various long guns and cannons have occupied the most favorable terrain. Even the second floor has no place. We have no choice but to go down to the third floor. Fortunately, the height difference between the floors is not large, which does not have much impact on shooting.

Xianggong Mountain Recommendation Index ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

The moment I climbed to the top of the mountain and looked into the distance, the pain of getting up early, the long journey, and the tiredness of climbing... it was all worth it.

△ The moment the sun emerged from the other end of the mountain, everyone exclaimed and jumped, as if they had seen some extraordinary spectacle. This is a completely different feeling from watching the sunrise alone in Omaezaki, Japan. One is enjoying tranquility and loneliness, and the other is sharing happiness and mood.

△ All kinds of equipment are put into action, and the eight immortals cross the sea each show their abilities. At this time, I always feel that my camera's wide angle is not enough. Xianggong Mountain is located at the big corner of the Li River. The surging river water turns 180 degrees here. If the wide angle is large enough, you can take a picture of the entire corner.

△ Fortunately, Sister Nan has a ultra-wide-angle VIVO, which is really good. Judging by visual inspection, it is at least equivalent to a full-frame wide angle of 16 ends. The work that won the Bronze Award at the International Photography Exhibition here is just so much.

△ The newly rising sun hid in the clouds again, performing a cloud to block the sun.

Thousands of times have been waiting just to get a glimpse of your world-shaking face. The light and shadow, sea of clouds, sunrise and colorful clouds of Xianggong Mountain have attracted countless photographers and photography enthusiasts. This photography enthusiast of course includes me, but I came late and couldn't get a good position.

After watching the sunrise, it was still early. By this time, the crowd had dispersed, and the top position was also quite empty. We waited on the top of the mountain until it had some sun before going down the mountain.

After going down the mountain, we were worried about how to get to the dock from Xianggong Mountain when we found that the Didi driver who had taken a taxi had been waiting for us. Haha, what a surprise and surprise. The driver took us to Chaobanshan Wharf for 20 yuan, where you can cross the river to Xingping Ancient Town.

Chaobanshan Wharf is very small, with only one small boat ferrying back and forth on both sides. Local people use this boat to travel between the two places. In addition to people, the boat also allows electric vehicles to pass through. The person is 10 yuan per person and the car is 20 yuan per person.

△ Many nearby villagers on the dock rode electric motorcycles and carried cormorants to Xingping on the other side. Cormorants are specially for tourists to take photos. It can be seen that they are tired of this boring work and are very listless.

After landing, I took a motorcycle and came to Xingping Ancient Town. This terminal is still a distance away from Xingping, about 6 kilometers away. There is a shuttle bus at the terminal, but it is still more convenient and faster to ride, which is cheap and allows for a ride. Why not? The young man from Mo is very talkative and has been chatting with us all the way. The key is that he also recommended a good place for us, which is rafting on the Longjing River. This rafting is completely different from the Yulong River. It is "rafting" in the true sense. There are no bamboo rafts, no boatmen, and no beautiful scenery on both sides of the river. There are some unpowered leather rafts traveling down the river, fully armed life jackets, and there are also gyrations, drops, screams and excitement along the way.

Xingping Ancient Town Recommendation Index ★ ★

We first took a tour in Xingping. The ancient town is very small, with only two streets, and the rest are all in a New town area. Moreover, like other ancient towns in China, there are still ancient buildings, small shops, snacks, and inns. It is very interesting to walk on the stone road, and there are also many students from the art school sketching here.

There is a shop specializing in renting cars at the entrance of the ancient town. The landlady is dark and thin, and she is particularly cheerful and enthusiastic. She told us that it is best to rent an electric motorcycle to go rafting in the Longjing River. It is very fast for two people to rent a map and navigate. There are basically major roads all the way, about 9 kilometers from Xingping.

Longjing River rafting was the most unforgettable experience of our trip.

Tips:
1. The best starting point for Longjing River rafting is Xingping. You can take a taxi and rent a car, but renting a motorcycle is definitely the best choice. You must rent a motorcycle! Because there will be beautiful scenery waiting for you along the way, and the tram can stop at any time to take photos. Personally, I feel that the scenery on the road is definitely not inferior to or even beyond Shili Gallery. Because the road here is wider and better, and the photos taken are more touching.
2. Longjing River rafting is 10 times more exciting than the most exciting roller coaster in the amusement park. Please be mentally prepared. The most important thing is that rafting will soak the whole body through. This is inevitable. There are dressing rooms and bathing rooms at the rafting point, so everyone must bring a change of clothes and towels, otherwise you will have to buy clothes immediately after going like we did, and spend too much money. Another point is that mobile phones must buy waterproof shells, otherwise they will definitely be scrapped.
3. There is time for the Longjing River rafting. We catch the 10 o'clock rafting, and the 1 o'clock rafting and 3 o'clock rafting. Everyone plans the trip according to the time.

△ The road to the Longjing River is picturesque and you will never regret it.

△ A high-speed rail bridge passes through the river and spans between two mountains. In this landscape gallery, the bridge looks aloof and magnificent.

There will be a shuttle bus to pick us up during the entire Longjing River rafting. When we park the electric motorcycle in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, a staff member will take us up.
The Longjing River is actually a semi-artificial river. Many huge drops have been artificially made. Each section is operated by staff throughout the entire process. We will drift down from the reservoir on the top of the mountain. The drops are bigger and more exciting. Some drops are actually straight up and down. Of course, everyone is fully armed, and life jackets and safety helmets are necessary. This experience is absolutely unprecedented.

Longjing River Rafting Recommended Index ★ ★ ★ ★

Returning to Xingping from the Longjing River, after a thrilling rafting trip, we were hungry. We found a restaurant "The Little Shop".

△ I can't get used to the taste of sour bamboo shoots, but the beef is still good

△ Field snail brew is my favorite

△ Elegant environment

△ Tree bark slippery eggs will order this dish at almost every table

△ Exquisite and exquisite tableware

After the trip to Xingping, our trip has also come to an end. You can take a minibus from Xingping Bus Station directly to Yangshuo. Yangshuo has direct bus tickets to the airport, but you must watch the time and avoid missing the plane.

end

Every trip is a process of discovery, discovering the beauty, discovering life, and discovering the various aspects of the world; every trip is also a process of letting go, letting go of the baggage, letting go of the past, and letting go of the heavy memories. Whether it is discovery or letting go, it is an inseparable part of life. It will deeply penetrate into our hearts over time and slowly spread into our blood as space slowly spreads into our veins.
