There is an ancient town of Xingping in Yangshuo, Guilin. It has been governed by Xiping County since the first year of Wu Ganlu (AD 265) during the Three Kingdoms Period. The governance is located in Shizi Village, Xingping Town today. It has a history of more than 1700 years. Because there is a 20-yuan background picture location here, many people come here to check in.

This ancient stage in Xingping, also known as the "Ten Thousand Years Theater", is located in the Temple of Guandi. It was built in the fourth year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (AD 1739) and has a history of 268 years. Xingping Ancient Theater is an ancient and well-preserved Qing Dynasty stage in northern Guangxi.
Visiting the Wannian Theater is free. It takes about ten minutes to enter from one side, walk up to the stage, circle inside and then walk out. The stage is ancient, but there are many small stalls selling various tourist souvenirs inside, which makes people feel full of commercialization.
There are five wood carvings on the wooden railing in front of the stage. Although the workmanship is exquisite, the facial expressions of the wood carvings cannot be seen clearly because of the age.

The ancient stage is decorated with scenes of Qing officials deciding cases. Four bamboo pictures are engraved on the wooden screen in the center of the stage. The couplet on both sides reads,"The spirit of flowers and plants, the wind and the wind are abnormal; the flowing water is today, the bright moon is the predecessor."

The stone road paved on the old street has a faint charm of an ancient street, especially after it rains.
Xingping Ancient Town is still worth visiting. It feels very quiet overall, mainly because it has few people. Walking on the stone road, you feel like you have traveled back to ancient times in an instant.
Walking through the old street, you will see a wide square in front of you.
