In September 2020, after a round of epidemics ended, I finally chose to travel alone to see the mountains and rivers of Guilin, take a bamboo raft rafting, and stroll around the famous West Street...

During the entire trip, I took 4 boats, visited 2 karst caves, and climbed 3 mountains.

After experiencing the rare continuous sunny days in the local area, I was also lucky enough to sit on a bamboo raft on rainy days to see the misty and rainy Li River.

Guanyan Scenic Area (The world's crown of karst caves-the national AAAA Lijiang Guanyan Scenic Area is located in Caoping Hui Autonomous Township, located in the middle section of the beautiful Li River.)

One of my favorite attractions on this trip, driving a small train into the cave is the biggest highlight. Watching the mountains, water and trees along the way was very pleasant.

The crown karst cave is really, really big! There are waterfalls, underground rivers, and facilities such as sightseeing ladders and small trains in the cave. It is much more beautiful and fun than the Yinziyan Cave. Recommended!

After you come out, you can climb the mountain and look far away. There is the entrance where the cave was first explored by the river at the foot of the mountain, and there is Li Zongren's inscription above it.

The sunny days in Guangxi look like the smog days in the north, not so clear, so I prefer the drizzly rain here from the north.

Ancient East Falls

Climbing mountains and watching waterfalls. If you don't experience climbing waterfalls, you can go or not.

Xingping Drifting

Drifting from Yangdi to Xingping Town in a four-person boat is very long, with the famous Jiuma Painting Mountain on the way. Be sure to go on rainy days, so you can see that the entire river scenery is as beautiful as an ink landscape painting.

Living in Xingping Ancient Town, it is very small and not very popular. Those ancient towns have almost all the elements that should have.

There is a large supermarket in the town, remember to buy fruit to eat.

Yulong River Drifting

The famous Yulong River rafting is a bamboo raft for two people. The scenery of this section is completely different from that of the Xingping section. Although it was not as long as it was before, the beautiful phoenix-tailed bamboos on both sides of the Taiwan Strait were impressive, and the whole process was peaceful and peaceful.

Yangshuo

I have seen ancient towns such as Lijiang and Dali, and I have never seen the West Street.

If you have enough time, you might as well go to Yangshuo Park opposite the Party School Guest House. It is highly recommended to climb the mountain and have a look. There are many historic sites on the mountain and you can also overlook the entire county.

Moon Mountain

Where to stay for lunch, the large meadow at the foot of the mountain is a good place to take photos.

Guilin cityIn addition to the traditional Elephant Trunk Mountain, two rivers and one lake in the urban area, you can also go to Diecai Mountain to climb and go fishing along the Peach Blossom River.

The trip was very short, many places were quickly passed, and there were not many worthy of remembrance. Famous places are never as exciting as ever, but unknown places you accidentally visit can also be surprised.
