I have been to Guilin many times, but there are very few parks that actually enter Guilin, because those parks basically charge fees, and reporters don't get discounts. Therefore, when I go to Guilin, I usually go to the pedestrian streets, east and west alleys, and along the Li River. Unless participating in activities, you can follow them into the park to play.

This time I visited the Seven Star Scenic Area, this is my second visit here many years later. The Seven Star Scenic Area is located on the east bank of the Li River in the urban area of Guilin. It is an old park in Guilin. When you enter, you will see the Xiaodongjiang River, a tributary of the Li River. The water is very clear and gentle, and the flower bridge is ahead. Huaqiao is the oldest bridge in Guilin. It was built during the Jiaxi period of the Song Dynasty. It was originally named Jiaxi Bridge. It is a bridge with only four holes. It was later washed away and rebuilt by floods. The current Huaqiao was rebuilt in 1965 according to the original style, and an additional dry bridge was built to flood discharge. That is, seven holes were built on the dry bridge on the bank to drain flood.

There is a corridor built on the flower bridge, like a long pavilion. Watching the scenery here can protect you from the wind and rain. Looking at the scenery on the Huaqiao, you will see the mountains and water, and you will be elegant and beautiful. The tour guide said that the pavilion on the hillside along the Xiaodongjiang River was the filming site of the movie "Third Sister Liu". However, I didn't expect it at that time. I would go to this pavilion called "Xiaoguang Guanghan and Jinjiang Pavilion" at noon because my friend Zhou's studio is here.

Next to the Huaqiao, there is the smallest mountain in Guilin. This mountain is also called the Furong Stone. It is a big stone. The stone is about 10 meters high. This stone stands tall and straight like a pillar, so it is also named "Tianzhu". Facing the flower bridge, seven characters are engraved with the words "Long Live Mao Zedong Thought". There are trees on the stone, and the roots of the tree cover almost the entire mountain. Because it was under maintenance, there was no way to walk in and take a closer look at some of the stone carvings on it.
