The Li River is located in the east of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in South China and belongs to the Pearl River water system. The Li River originates from Maoer Mountain, the "first peak in South China", in the crossing of the Li River in northern Guangxi. Maoer Mountain is a place with abundant forests and beautiful trees, fresh air and excellent ecological environment. The main stream of the upper reaches of the Li River is called Liudong River; it flows south to the vicinity of Simen in Xing 'an County, receiving the Huangbai River in the east and the Chuanjiang River in the west. It merges into the Rongjiang River; it flows from Rongjiang Town to Lingqu water, flowing through Lingchuan, Guilin and Yangshuo, to Pingle, and into the Xijiang River, with a total length of 437 kilometers. Elephant Trunk Mountain, formerly known as Li Mountain, is located at the confluence of Taohua River and Li River in Guilin City, Guangxi Province. The mountain is named because it resembles a giant elephant standing on the river and stretching its nose and drinking the sweet spring of the Li River. It is called a symbol of Guilin's mountains and rivers. Xiangshan is famous for its magic. Therefore, Elephant Trunk Mountain is Guilin's city emblem mountain and a symbol mountain for Guilin's tourism. It is located at the confluence of the Li River and Taohua River in the center of Guilin City. It looks like a giant elephant. Reed Flute Rock is located in the northwest suburbs of Guilin City, 5 kilometers away from the city center. It is a scenic spot mainly for visiting caves and supplemented by viewing mountains, rivers and pastoral scenery. The reed flute cave is 240 meters deep and runs 500 meters long. Since its discovery and development in 1959, restaurants, tea rooms, water pavilions, lake ponds, curved bridges have been built, cruise ships have been set up, and flowers and trees have been planted. It has become a must-visit tourist hotspot for Chinese and foreign tourists when visiting Guilin.

Dawei Ancient Town was one of the "Four Dawei Towns" in ancient Guangxi. Dawei Ancient Town was built in 200 AD. The ancient Dawei Old Street stretches for 2 kilometers along the Li River. The narrow street is paved with bluestone slabs, and there are well-preserved old houses on both sides of the stone road. Dawei Ancient Town is located on the east bank of the Li River, southeast of Fuzi Rock, north of Mopan Mountain, and 23 kilometers away from Guilin. Historically, the ancient town was built in the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, revitalized in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and flourished in the Republic of China. It has a history of thousands of years. As long as 600 years ago, Dawei became the largest of the four Dawei towns in Guangxi due to its "size".

The Yinziyan Cave is a typical karst landform. It runs through twelve peaks and is a storied cave. The cave contains stalactites developed and grown in different geological ages. It is crystal clear and white, like the Milky Way in the night sky leaning down and shining. It shines like silver and diamond-like light, so it is called "Yinziyan". There are dozens of characteristic scenic spots in the cave. The most famous landscapes include three unique landscapes: snowy mountains and waterfalls, musical stone screens, and Yaochi Wonderland; three treasures: Buddha's Sutra Theory, Mixed Pearl Umbrella, and Single Pillar Reaching the Sky.
