There are some cities where I would like to travel at least once a year, such as Hangzhou, Qingdao and Suzhou. Among them, Hangzhou is one of my favorite cities. I have visited it for many years in a row. In 2008, I visited it 4 times in a year. "If you want to compare the West Lake to the West, it is always appropriate to apply light makeup and heavy makeup." Hangzhou is beautiful all year round. When lotus flowers are in full bloom in summer, on the West Lake,"the lotus leaves are infinitely green, and the lotus flowers reflect the sun are particularly red", which makes people forget to leave. The Yangtze River Delta in the summer of 2014 is particularly cool, and high temperatures above 35 degrees are rare. It is a good opportunity to enjoy the lotus in Hangzhou's West Lake. Of course, it is rare for Jiangnan to have a hot summer because there are many rainy days this summer. Both days of self-driving travel were rainy. Among them, there was moderate rain lasting for several hours on the afternoon of August 16, and I rarely visited the West Lake in the rain. The West Lake in the rain, and the mountains and rivers in the distance look misty and faint, like an ink painting. The entire journey is 482 kilometers and is a relatively relaxed self-driving tour.

Starting from May 5, 2014, Hangzhou will restrict non-Zhejiang A foreign vehicles during peak weekdays, which are from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. respectively. Since it was Friday afternoon, I drove into downtown Hangzhou and didn't dare to delay much time.
Drive on Nanshan Road and pass the gate of the scenic spot where Liu Lang Wen Ying is heard. Wenying on Liu Lang is one of the "Ten Scenes of West Lake".
A corner of the West Lake Long Bridge taken while driving.
Parking lot in Leifeng Tower Scenic Area, 10 yuan/hour.
Across the street from the Leifeng Tower parking lot is Jingci Temple, or Nanping Evening Bell.
Leifeng Tower. Leifeng Sunset is one of the "Ten Scenes of West Lake".
Cycling to West Lake is more convenient than self-driving travel and is a choice for many young people.
Ten Scenery of the West Lake, the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units announced by the State Council on March 5, 2013, and other categories, from the Southern Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Nanping Evening Bell is one of the "Ten Scenes of West Lake".
Jingci Temple, a national key Buddhist temple in Han nationality areas, admission is 10 yuan.
Ancient wells for transporting wood. It is said that after the Jingci Temple in Hangzhou was burned, Ji Gong went to a famous Sichuan family to collect wood for building the temple. The squire cut down 100 large trees on the mountain and lent them to Jigong. The wood flowed along the Yangtze River to the East China Sea and then floated into the Qiantang River. When it reached the Qiantang River, he encountered a checkpoint and stopped the raft to collect taxes. Later, Duke Ji sank the wood into the water and transported the wood to the temple through this "heart-awakening well".
Outside Leifeng Tower.
The lightbox advertisement of Leifeng Tower: "Hangzhou's first tourist stop". I remember when I visited Hangzhou for the first time in 1981, my first stop at that time was Yue Temple.
There are parking lots in Hangzhou's main attractions, but parking spaces are quite tight during the tourist season.
Traffic jams, number restrictions, and difficulty in parking are the three major worries of self-driving tours in Hangzhou.
Driving through the Qiantang River Bridge for the first time.
There is a national protection monument on the Qiantang River Bridge, which was announced as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Xiaoshan Street View.
In order to avoid being stuck in Hangzhou's rush hour restrictions on foreign cars, I came to Xianghu Lake in Xiaoshan, which is known as the "sister lake" of the West Lake. Xianghu can also be visited for free, and there are many free parking lots around the lake, making it a good place for self-driving tours.
The Yue King City Site on the edge of Xianghu Lake is a cultural relic protection unit in Zhejiang Province. It was a military castle where the State of Yue stationed troops against Wu during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period.
There are lanes around Xianghu and Yanhu, making it more convenient for self-driving travel.
There are many hawkers on the roadside selling fresh lotus seeds for 10 yuan/4 pieces.
Stayed at Jinjiang Inn Xiaoshan City Xinlu Store that night, and the standard room A membership price was 151 yuan. As of that day, a total of 229 kilometers have been traveled.
Shixin Middle Road at the entrance of the hotel is located in the center of Xiaoshan's Laocheng District, and the road is under construction. This made me suffer a lot at night, and I heard the sound of construction after 12 o'clock.
Zhiweiguan is a time-honored restaurant in Hangzhou. This is a store on the heart of Xiaoshan City.
Zhiwei Xiaolong is a major feature of Zhiweiguan, but the taste is average when eaten, and it feels like frozen food has not been completely steamed.
August 16, 2014 (Hangzhou weather: moderate to heavy rain, 22 to 27 degrees)
City Center Road photographed in the 10th floor room of Jinjiang Inn Hotel.
Shixin Bridge at the cultural intersection of Shixin Middle Road is an ancient bridge in the Qing Dynasty, also known as Zhenji Bridge. It is estimated that Shixin Road is named after this.
On the city center road next to the Jinjiang Inn store, there used to be a parking lot that paid, and the parking fee can be reimbursed by the hotel. But when I went this time, the parking lot was abandoned and unmanned. Although there were still parking spaces, for safety reasons, I spent 15 yuan to park in the old theater parking lot on the nearby Cultural Road for the night.
Turn from Shixin Middle Road to Wenhua Road and head east to Shijiang Temple, which has been converted into a folk cultural park and can be visited for free. There is a parking lot on the roadside, and the parking cost 5 yuan.
Mengbi Bridge on the small river in front of Jiangsi Gate and Cangqiao next to it are both cultural relics protection units in Hangzhou City.
Not far away is Cangqiao, a cultural relic protection unit in Hangzhou City.
Guocang Bridge is a store for Xinfeng Snacks. Xinfeng Snacks, which was opened in 1996 on the basis of the original Xinfeng Snack Shop, now has many stores in downtown Hangzhou and is a household name snack shop. Also in the store located in Xiaoshan, Xinfeng snacks are more popular than Zhiweiguan.
Pianerchuan of Xinfeng snacks. The fly in the ointment is that the bamboo shoots were changed to rice bamboo shoots, perhaps because this is not the season when bamboo shoots are on the market.

The traffic jam on Gushan Road was mainly caused by some vehicles turning around and waiting for passengers. There are many parking spaces on Gushan Road to visit Baidi and Pinghu Qiuyue.
It began to rain in Hangzhou and the rainfall was getting heavier. Cycling was quite bad.
At the entrance of Xiling Seal Society, this place is also a national key cultural relics protection unit. I visited it in 2008.

Wenji Pavilion is the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units announced by the State Council on June 25, 2001. It is an ancient building and the era is Qing Dynasty. Wenji Pavilion is located at the southern foot of Gushan Mountain in the West Lake, in the Zhejiang Province Museum. First built in the forty-seventh year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1782 AD), it is one of the seven major collection pavilions built in the Qing Dynasty to collect the "Siku Quan Shu" and the only surviving pavilion among the three pavilions in the south of the Yangtze River. Baidi. In my eyes, thanks to Baoshu Tower's company, the White Causeway is more beautiful than the Su Causeway.
The broken bridge and the remaining snow are one of the "Ten Scenarios of the West Lake".
The heavy rain rained heavily and water appeared on many roads.
Go shopping at Carrefour Xiaoshan Jincheng Store.
Lotus root starch is a major specialty of Hangzhou. The area outside Hangzhou Shanmen Gate to Yuhang County is the main producer of lotus root starch in West Lake, and the product produced in Sanjia Village, Tangqi is particularly famous. This brand of Sanjiacun lotus root starch is the most authentic and delicious.
Huijuan Noodle Restaurant, a chain noodle restaurant that has sprung up in Hangzhou in recent years, is famous for its delicious food in Pianerchuan. In terms of catering environment and other aspects, time-honored brands are "ashamed".
After waiting for 10 minutes, the shrimp slices were served. The amount of noodles was sufficient, and it was hot and delicious just out of the pot.
