Drifting in caves, with unique caves

Hangzhou is not a unfamiliar place for many people. When it comes to Hangzhou, people will think of West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Xixi National Wetland Park, and so on. Although the pace of life in Hangzhou is getting faster and faster nowadays, compared to first tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, Hangzhou is a place that is both suitable for struggle and for living. On weekends, people from Hangzhou also come to the outskirts of Hangzhou to get close to nature.

Hangzhou is not only a city with scenic spots, but more beautiful scenery is actually hidden in suburban county towns, such as Qiandao Lake, Yuhang, Tonglu, etc., all of which have natural scenery different from the city. Tonglu is my favorite place to visit besides the city center. Tonglu, known as the International Garden City, boasts abundant natural scenery and a mysterious cave. Inside, there is a underground river known as the Chuiyun Tongtian River, which is the largest underground river in the world.

Tonglu itself is a relatively mountainous area, with underground rivers in the karst caves at the foot of the mountain. The one known as the number one underground river in the world is this Chuiyun Tongtian River. Chuiyun Tongtian River is a karst underground river, and at the end of the river is the Tiandong Mountain Forest Park. Due to the dense jungle and vegetation, the water in the forest converges into a river, pouring down from the height of Chaotian Cave, becoming the underground river inside the cave. Its name is also vividly called Tongtian River.

Usually, visiting karst caves involves walking in, and the cave at Chuiyun Tongtian River requires taking a boat to enter. For the first time exploring karst caves in this way, it was very new to me. There were 10 people on a boat, and the boatmen would row and introduce us to the strange shaped stones we saw. The shapes of these stones were also quite storytelling, and the small animal shapes at the entrance of the cave were like the guardians of the cave.

After entering the cave, the scenery inside the cave was unique and amazed me. The colorful lights shone brightly on the stalactites, as if they were in a fairyland. These stones with different shapes were endowed with legendary colors and stories. This was the first time I saw such an underground river scene, sitting on a small boat floating on the dark river, like a dream.

The cave is very cool, at 18 degrees Celsius all year round. The water ice of the underground river is cool, but clear and transparent. Although the river channel is very dark, once illuminated by lights, one can see the bottom of the river, which is enough to see the clarity of the dark river. Strolling through the winding and winding river channel, with various stalactites on both sides, the exquisite craftsmanship of nature is vividly displayed in the cave that connects the hanging clouds and the Milky Way.

When taking a boat tour of a karst cave, you can admire various ancient sites such as Chuiyun, Zhenshan Ancient Town, Jiangnan Mongolian yurt, Shuida Guanyuan, and Shifoshan Cave that are printed on the stone wall. For example, this stone wall with Buddha characters is also printed with a section of scripture next to it, cleverly integrating nature and culture, and experiencing Zen in the dark karst cave.

The history of Chuiyun Tongtian River is actually very long. It was discovered by ancestors as early as the Wu and Yue periods of the Three Kingdoms. On the stone wall above the entrance of the cave, there are four large cliff carvings of Chuiyun Ancient Site printed. Nowadays, the stalactites inside the cave have also been formed for thousands of years. These stones hidden deep inside the cave, under the illumination of today's lights, present a spectacular beauty, which not only makes people admire them repeatedly.

This is like stalactites in the starry sky, making people feel like they are watching stars on a river. It must be said that the cave lights in the Chuiyun Tongtian River match the stories expressed by these stones very well. On the blue stone walls, there are dots of white light shining, just like the twinkling stars. The dark cave becomes more like a fairy tale world because of these lights.

When the cruise ship is about halfway through, there is a specially designed lifting device that can lift tourists and boats up to a secondary river with an 8-meter height drop. This kind of karst cave conveyor belt is also my first time seeing it, like a time tunnel, with people and ships flying directly to the top of the rock, and there is a little excitement during the ascent.

The hanging clouds that rise to the second level river channel connect the Tianhe River, creating a colorful scene. There is a big hole on the top of the mountain that leads directly to the outside of the sky, only then can one truly understand what it means to have a unique cave in the sky. And upon closer inspection, these stalactites appear to have been designed in shape, but they are all naturally formed. This is probably the most unique feature of the Chuiyun Tongtian River, where there is a river and scenery. At first, it was completely unimaginable outside the cave that such a wonderful scene was inside.

Because some of the hanging stalactites are very close to the river surface, some places have to let tourists down first, walk a distance, and then pick them up from the boat. However, it also gives us the opportunity to explore the cave on foot and touch these unique stalactites up close. The Chuiyun Tongtian River also has an underground river exploration route, which will be equipped with more professional equipment and led by a full-time exploration guide. Experience climbing rock cliffs and exploring canyons in a millennium old karst cave, which is a very interesting and fresh experience for visitors in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai.

Drifting in the cave, one should occasionally look up, because the most exciting thing is always above their heads. The pouring stalactites, like a hanging waterfall, are very spectacular. During the process of sailing, we also need to be very careful of our own small brains, because some inverted stalactites are close to the river surface and can accidentally hit our heads. Therefore, the boatman's aunt often reminds us to remember to lower our heads while taking photos.

After getting off the boat and reaching the end of the cave, there was a very long staircase leading to the mountainside of Tiandong Mountain. There were more exciting outdoor experiences from there, and I had to slowly challenge myself. However, the first step I had to take was this invisible staircase. Climbing with a mask was really breathless.

Internet famous glass bridge, crossing the longest and tallest glass bridge

If the most unique experience of Chuiyun Tongtian River is cave exploration, then the most popular project is undoubtedly the glass overpass of Chuiyun Tongtian River. After walking out of the cave and reaching the mountaintop, you will find this long and tall Lingyun Overpass, which is the core landscape of Chuiyun Tongtian River. The glass bridge is over 300 meters long and approximately 150 meters high, making it the longest and tallest among all the glass bridges I have walked across.

Before I even climbed the mountain, just looking at the glass overpass from below gave me a feeling of falling from a high altitude. As someone who enjoys excitement, I couldn't help but feel a bit excited. I don't know what kind of scenery it would be like to go up there.

To climb onto the glass bridge, one needs to climb the mountain road for more than ten minutes to see the four big characters of Lingyun Overpass in front of them. Walking on a glass bridge requires wearing shoe covers, which are non slip. In the blue sky and white clouds, the transparent glass cloud bridge is specially matched with the clouds in the sky.

I have also walked through many popular glass overpasses in China, but the only one that stands out is the one with the highest and longest glass overpass that I have ever walked. It is reported that this glass overpass has undergone four years of design and construction, cleverly integrating modern engineering with natural landscapes.

At the beginning of stepping on the glass bridge, I was still a little nervous. I was not afraid of heights, but I was still very nervous when I stepped on the Lingyun Overpass. After all, it was the highest glass overpass that I walked. I hardly walked over the glass overpass that was more than 100 meters high. In addition, it was long, so I slowed down my pace. The child in front walked faster than the adult, as if he didn't know anything about fear.

Walking trembling on the Lingyun Overpass, one can also overlook the beautiful scenery of Chuiyun Tongtian River. The natural scenery of Tonglu is breathtaking, as if strolling through the clouds. Although the height is really high, fortunately there is no danger. If you also enjoy challenging and stimulating, then this is a must visit internet famous scenic spot in Tonglu.

Looking around, the blue sky and white clouds seem within reach, with a gentle breeze blowing in, making it particularly comfortable. The charm of the Lingyun Overpass goes far beyond that. The day I went happened to be scorching with the sun in the sky, as if it were summer. What was the most exciting fun of summer? Of course, it's drifting. At first, I mistakenly thought of this white resting area as a bird's nest, but seeing its strong sense of ins style, I still need to hurry up and take a photo together.

Langshi Jintan, Drifting in Nature

A few kilometers away from the Chuiyun Tongtian River, there is also a holy land for rafting, which is Langshi Jintan. If it happens to be on a hot day, it is very suitable for drifting. Tonglu is a place with dense forests and excellent air quality. Drifting in it must be a very enjoyable experience.

The total cost of the ticket and rafting ticket is 110 yuan, so I bought an additional ticket to come and visit and see what kind of rafting is here.

Langshi Jintan is located in Langshibu, Tianmu River, Tonglu. Jintan, also known as "Tidal Reversal Beach," was formed by the rising tide of the Qiantang River in the past and is a natural pebble beach. Once this was an ancient port for water and land transportation in Tianmu Creek, with many historical relics, allusions, and folk legends. When you enter, you will see various statues of ancient people and ancient buildings with a strong sense of time.

Walking into Langshi Jintan is not quite what I imagined. It's like a small and beautiful garden, with beautiful natural scenery, surrounded by lush green mountains, rich vegetation, and exquisite garden design. Strolling through it, I suddenly feel the beauty of spring.

Finally, I saw some elements related to surfing exploration, with rugged rocks that seemed to indicate the joy of drifting exploration.

Nowadays, a large part of Langshi Jintan has been opened up as a leisure and tourism area. It has become the preferred destination for many people's team building activities, including the Qingshui Bay Danshui Beach Bathing Beach, Luhai Bull Car Scenic Area, Fengqing Palm Forest, Wild Barbecue, Tiancheng Golf Training Course, 10000 mu Grassland Horse Racing, Tents, Mongolian yurt Camping, and other characteristic tourism projects.

Cross strait paths crisscross, with intertwined beaches. The Tianmu River meanders and fluctuates, with clear and bottomless views, as well as thousand year old ancient camphor trees and a vast sea of reeds. The scenery throughout the four seasons is full of charm.
