5. Come to Lihua Lace and Bead Embroidery Culture Research Institute to experience the spirit of century old craftsmanship

But when it comes to bead embroidery, how many people are familiar with it? This old craft, developed from the foundation of embroidery, has still influenced generations of people in Xiaoshan. The Lihua Lace and Pearl Embroidery Cultural Research Institute is located on Wenhua Road in Xinqiao, Xiaoshan District. It is named after Wang Lihua, a disciple of Zhao Xixiang, a representative inheritor of the "Xiaoshan Lace" tradition. As an important intangible cultural heritage of Xiaoshan, the institute embodies the craftsmanship spirit of the older generation of Xiaoshan people and witnesses that precious and immortal era.

Upon arriving at the Lihua Lace and Bead Embroidery Culture Research Institute, what caught my eye were exquisite bead embroidery works. The small museum was filled with countless large and small bead embroidery works, displayed in different forms before me, making it overwhelming. On the pure white wall, there are exquisite bead embroidery works hanging one after another. These works are based on Suzhou embroidery and Hangzhou embroidery, drawing on the weaving patterns of Xiaoshan lace, and combining various embroidery methods such as flat embroidery, string embroidery, vertical bead embroidery, and stacked embroidery perfectly. The beads are brilliant, colorful, and clear in layers. Looking from a distance, they are like a traditional Chinese painting, completely natural, without any trace of bead embroidery.

What I can't put down the most is the screen embroidery works of different sizes. The exquisite bead embroidery is lifelike, fully interpreting traditional Chinese techniques. It is the Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum, located on Meishan Island in the Xianghu Tourist Resort of Xiaoshan District. The mountain island stands tall, with rippling blue waves and green trees surrounding it. The museum is hidden in such a peaceful place, allowing nature to encounter art and let art coexist with nature. The former site of the museum is a large brick kiln factory from the 19th century. With the development of the times, brick kilns gradually withdrew from the historical stage, and after a series of renovations, the museum now exists.

Upon arriving at the Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum, what caught my eye was a brick building with sharp edges. The red stone bricks shone brightly under the sun, and under the blue sky and white clouds, the "Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum" slowly unfolded in front of me. The collision of red and black created a strong modern atmosphere, which made me marvel at the designer's ingenuity. Heading straight towards the Slow Life Pedestrian Street, the surrounding greenery is very thoughtful, making people feel refreshed and refreshed. Before reaching the pedestrian street, the mood becomes particularly calm. Walking and stopping all the way, the green plants on the side are thriving, making people feel even more joyful. Unconsciously, I arrived at the Slow Life Pedestrian Street, where ancient buildings with white walls and black tiles came into view. Climbing up the stairs, we arrived at the stone bridge in the small town, which became the best viewing spot in the whole area. Hangzhou has very developed transportation. Airplanes, trains, and highways are all very convenient. From Hangzhou, a city outside Zhejiang Province, the most popular choices are airplanes and high-speed trains, while people within the province prefer high-speed trains and buses.

Aircraft: You can take a plane from all over to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport. The airport is relatively close to the city center, and the airport's highway is connected to the city center, about 45 minutes away from the city center.
