1. Hangzhou International Expo Center, Exploring the Traces of G20 Summit
"The water shines brightly and the sky is clear, and the mountain scenery is also strange with rain." This is Su Shi's portrayal of West Lake. Like Xi Shi, light makeup and heavy application are always appropriate, and any gorgeous words appear pale and powerless. When it comes to Hangzhou, people will think of West Lake. This scenic spot, which has been praised since ancient times, has become the city's business card, attracting countless Chinese and foreign tourists. However, with the booming development of Hangzhou's economy in recent years, its charm goes far beyond the charm of West Lake. For example, the successful holding of the 2016 G20 summit injected new vitality into this already shining city.
The first stop of this trip to Xiaoshan was the Hangzhou International Expo Center, located on the south bank of the Qiantang River in Qianjiang Century City, Xiaoshan District. The total construction area is 850000 square meters, and the main building is divided into five floors above ground and two floors below, integrating conference, exhibition, tourism, and business. As the main venue of the 2016 G20 Summit, it is grand, strong and soft, showcasing the charm of Jiangnan everywhere.
Entering the Hangzhou International Expo Center, what catches the eye is a magnificent modern building. The building adopts an elongated design with a soft curve, greatly extending the visual experience. The light brown roof design is combined with the glass wall surface, and a large number of line elements are used to create a grand and atmospheric feeling. The brown and white colors are alternating, without any unnecessary color rendering, making it more solemn and elegant.
Entering the main venue, everything in front of me was extremely shocking, as if I had entered a brand new world. The design of the venue was ingenious, with the roof using an axis design and bright lighting that lit up the entire venue. It is difficult to find that the roof lighting is painted with exquisite floral patterns, fresh and natural, refreshing and refreshing. At the same time, a large number of wooden carving designs were used in the venue, exquisite and elegant, interpreting Chinese craftsmanship without reservation.
In contrast, the design of the luncheon hall is more petite and elegant, with a simple combination of metal frames and lines that exudes a modern feel. The most surprising aspect is the ubiquitous Chinese elements, the vivid landscape paintings, the fresh and elegant floral carpets, all of which reflect the elegant and beautiful Jiangnan style. The grandeur is not lacking in softness, making people linger and forget to leave. On one side of the wall, the poster of the G20 summit is particularly eye-catching. The flags of the 20 countries are colorful, and of course, the most eye-catching one is China's five-star flag, deeply imprinted in the hearts of every Chinese, and a sense of awe arises naturally.
In addition, the five closed and stacked ink scrolls on the outer ring are also unique. In addition to bringing beautiful visual enjoyment, they also have sound absorption function, creating an ultimate dining experience for guests.
Wandering between the luncheon hall and the main venue, the design above the head is eye-catching. The white metal frame is simply combined, and the oval skylights of different sizes are full of personality, making people's eyes fixed. Undoubtedly, it is the venue for hosting the G20 summit, with excellent materials and design, and a strong international presence.
2. Visit Xu Tongtai Sauce Factory and feel the taste of Xiaoshan on your tongue
Life cannot be separated from firewood, rice, oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, and tea. It is precisely because of the presence of these seasonings that the menu of life becomes more lively and flavorful. As a city with a history of eight thousand years, Xiaoshan has a profound cultural heritage and a long history. Over thousands of years, it has accumulated many unique flavor memories belonging to the people of Xiaoshan. This trip to Xiaoshan not only showcased the natural and cultural landscape of Xiaoshan, but also encountered a place that captured all the taste buds of the people, becoming the exclusive taste that Xiaoshan people love.
Ask Hu Qingyu for medicine and Xu Tongtai for nourishing taste. In the folk, there has always been a saying that Xu Tongtai referred to in the sentence is the Xu Tongtai Sauce Factory located in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou. This is an old and time-honored sauce production enterprise with a history of 140 years, which has now become the official sauce factory of Macau Doulao.
With the continuous development of the times, many traditional old techniques have been fixed in people's memories and gradually disappeared. However, Xu Tongtai's ancient brewing sauce technique has been passed down intact, and has been developed and enriched in the endless years, constantly enriching the taste buds of the people of Xiaoshan and becoming the ace sauce in the hearts of the locals.
Upon arriving at Xu Tongtai Sauce Factory, what caught the eye was a white walled and tiled gatehouse. A large red lantern hung high on the gatehouse, and the three prominent characters "Xu Tongtai" on the blue brick directly above it were eye-catching. There were no fancy carvings or heavy colors around, and a sincere and simple spirit of craftsmanship rushed towards us, making us unable to resist the awe. What catches people's eyes is that on the left side of the door, there is a huge stone jar covered with a triangular pointed lid. It looks simple and unadorned, but it appears somewhat lively and cute, making people unable to resist exploring the truth.
Entering through the door, I was greeted by a neat and orderly row of canned goods, all of which were the "magic weapons" for making sauces. The jars of varying depths lined up on a wall, creating an incredibly spectacular and artistic atmosphere. Immediately after, I saw countless stone jars that were similar to before. It was said that the sauce inside needed 180 days of sufficient sunlight exposure. Only by fully absorbing the taste of sunlight can the sauce aroma be fully displayed without reservation. These similar jars, on the other hand, bear the mission of being exposed to the wind and sun. Under the baptism of history, they have gradually become mottled, and every crack tells the story of Xu Tongtai's century old spirit.
According to the staff, from soybeans to soy sauce, there are more than ten processes that need to be completed, and each process must be done to the extreme. Therefore, most of them are manually operated. Although it is time-consuming and labor-intensive, it can ensure that the soy sauce produced retains the unique flavor of Xu Tongtai.
Wandering in the soy sauce factory, one can see many stunning landscapes, such as stone pillar buildings of different sizes. On the gray and white front, it reproduces the process of Xu Tongtai making soy sauce, conveying the spirit of craftsmanship to visitors word by word. On one side of the wall, the distribution map of Xu Tongtai Sauce Factory is vividly depicted, with clear and vivid processes, telling the exclusive memory of this century old brand.
3. Come to the Xiaoshan Anti Japanese War Memorial Hall to relive the difficult times
The Xiaoshan Anti Japanese War Memorial Hall is located in Fengwu Village, Heshang Town. Upon arriving here, my mood instantly became particularly heavy. Even when I truly stepped into the hall, I was already extremely nervous, with an indescribable feeling. Most of the houses in the village are dilapidated, with mottled walls that exude a rich historical heritage. After walking and stopping all the way, we finally arrived at the Memorial Hall. On an ancient gate tower, there was a timeless plaque hanging with powerful and powerful handwriting, deeply ingrained in people's hearts.
Entering through the door, I was greeted by a vivid photo wall that reproduces the spirit of unity and combat of our party during the Anti Japanese War, leaving people with countless emotions. Entering the memorial hall, one can see old yellowed photos. These completely unrecognizable black and white photos record a difficult period that cannot be looked back on. The compatriots in the photos were subjected to bullying, with corpses scattered everywhere. Looking at them, it is shocking and makes people fall into infinite contemplation.
The museum is mainly divided into four main themes. The first theme is "Japanese invasion, shattered mountains and rivers". The old photos in the exhibition hall recreate that unforgettable history of humiliation in front of us. The indescribable pain deeply affects every visitor present. The second major theme is "The Crime of Aggression, Not to be Forgotten". The exhibition hall tells visitors about a series of atrocities committed by the Japanese army, which are cruel and inhumane, making it difficult for the Chinese people to live. Although these humiliating histories are in the past, they will never be forgotten by people. They always remind us that if we fall behind, we will be beaten.
The third major theme is "Rise up to resist the war, the sun and the moon shine again". The museum displays many old objects of the war, as well as scenes of the people of Xiaoshan honing their resistance. Through these ancient historical relics, one can feel the iron spirit of those heroes of the war, and the scenes of bathing in the fire and resisting the war seem to be vividly remembered. The last major theme is "Reflection on War, Sustainable Peace", which is the one that deeply touches me. As a new era, we can no longer change history. The only thing we can do is to continue peace, learn from experience and lessons in war, continuously convey the concept of peace to our people and even the world, and strive to make this peaceful era a peaceful world.
There are also many ancient objects displayed in the museum, whether it is a dilapidated old telephone or a telegraph machine with scattered parts, all of which embody the love and wisdom of that era, and infinite respect arises naturally.
4. Come to Hainiao Tiandi Homestay, savor the century old charm story
Tranquility tames seabirds, poetry expresses light autumn clouds. Since ancient times, seabirds have become a common object in the writings of literati and literati. The freedom and tranquility of seabirds deeply attract every poet. As a Jay Chou fan, I also have a special affection for seabirds, which stems from the lyrics "Seabirds and fish fall in love, it's just an accident." On this trip to Xiaoshan, I unexpectedly met a homestay named after seabirds, and there is an indescribable feeling in the dark.
A sea of bamboo, an old house, and a row of ancient ginkgo trees. This is a true portrayal of the Seabird World Homestay, and it is also the most intuitive experience for every visitor who comes to the Seabird World Homestay. The Hainiao Tiandi Homestay is located in Zerong Natural Village, Xiamen Village, Heshang Town, Xiaoshan District. It is hard to imagine that at the end of such a small village, there is a hidden paradise. The homestay is nestled by mountains and rivers, surrounded by green bamboo, and the stream is babbling, undoubtedly an excellent feng shui treasure.
Arriving at the Seabird World Boutique Homestay, I was greeted by a timeless and independent courtyard house. It is said that this old house has gone through 150 years of vicissitudes, and now it has been renovated and restored, returning to the historical stage. And about this ancient mansion, there is also a famous story that I have heard from the driver along the way.
It is said that the original owner of the house, surnamed Bu, opened a shop in Ningbo in the early years and accidentally met an American overseas Chinese named William. Later, he was fortunate enough to become William's accountant. Later, when William returned to China, Mr. Bu brought his family to this place and built such a quiet courtyard, enjoying the joy of family life here. Afterwards, most of Mr. Bu's descendants moved to this weathered old house, which underwent designer's retouching and renovation before taking on its current appearance.
Entering the Seabird World homestay, one instantly feels at home, probably because the house was originally inhabited by Mr. Bu's family. Although it has been renovated now, the atmosphere of life is faintly visible, making people feel even more warm. The homestay is surrounded by lush green bamboo, and occasionally the chirping of birds is crisp and pleasant, instantly washing away fatigue and feeling refreshed.
The buildings here, under the baptism of wind and rain, have become slightly mottled, but the strong freshness does not change the color, giving them a tranquil beauty of a small family jade. The first floor of the homestay is the living room, and the warm yellow lights illuminate the entire space. On one side, the sofa is naturally placed at home, while on the other side, there are also pens, ink, paper, and inkstones. The fragrance of books is overflowing, as if walking into a study. On the gate tower in front of me, a golden plaque hung high with the four big words "it's good to come back" written on it. It instantly struck my heart, as if touching the softest string in my heart, moving me deeply.
The furniture here is uniformly made of wood material, returning to nature and taking you to find the true essence of life. There is also a floor to ceiling bookshelf in the living room, which is simple yet aesthetically pleasing. The retro blue and brown wood complement each other, creating a strong visual contrast. Simple yet artistic, it interprets the warmth of the homestay without reservation.
Moving to the guest room, the facilities here are no less equipped than five-star hotels. Whether it is the hygiene standards of the room or the display design, they are all praised. A clean king's bed, a simple sofa, a retro and exquisite chandelier, a beautifully carved door, each decoration is just right, bringing art into nature and perceiving aesthetics in daily life. Wandering among them, one can feel the meaning of "no chaos of silk and bamboo, no laborious form of documents", which is the life they yearn for.
5. Come to Lihua Lace and Bead Embroidery Culture Research Institute to experience the spirit of century old craftsmanship
A plain cotton thread and an embroidery needle. When it comes to embroidery, everyone is familiar with it. As one of the traditional ethnic crafts in China, embroidery has a long history. But when it comes to bead embroidery, how many people are familiar with it? This old craft, developed from the foundation of embroidery, has still influenced generations of people in Xiaoshan. With the efforts of craftsmen, it has flourished and become an indispensable part of Xiaoshan's historical and cultural heritage.
The Lihua Lace and Pearl Embroidery Cultural Research Institute is located on Wenhua Road in Xinqiao, Xiaoshan District. It is named after Wang Lihua, a disciple of Zhao Xixiang, a representative inheritor of the "Xiaoshan Lace" tradition. As an important intangible cultural heritage of Xiaoshan, the institute embodies the craftsmanship spirit of the older generation of Xiaoshan people and witnesses that precious and immortal era.
Upon arriving at the Lihua Lace and Bead Embroidery Culture Research Institute, what caught my eye were exquisite bead embroidery works. The small museum was filled with countless large and small bead embroidery works, displayed in different forms before me, making it overwhelming. On the pure white wall, there are exquisite bead embroidery works hanging one after another. These works are based on Suzhou embroidery and Hangzhou embroidery, drawing on the weaving patterns of Xiaoshan lace, and combining various embroidery methods such as flat embroidery, string embroidery, vertical bead embroidery, and stacked embroidery perfectly. The beads are brilliant, colorful, and clear in layers. Looking from a distance, they are like a traditional Chinese painting, completely natural, without any trace of bead embroidery.
What I can't put down the most is the screen embroidery works of different sizes. The exquisite bead embroidery is lifelike, fully interpreting traditional Chinese techniques. Every stitch and thread is telling visitors the exclusive spirit of the people of Xiaoshan. When I saw this picture of a grasshopper fruit basket, I couldn't even believe it. This lifelike grasshopper was actually completed with every stitch and thread of pearl embroidery, which is truly breathtaking. There is also this rich and colorful landscape painting, which vividly portrays the tenderness of Jiangnan on paper. For a moment, I felt as if I had seen the hardworking embroidery lady sewing and embroidering in front of the embroidery platform, skillfully and naturally, effortlessly completing a great and ordinary work.
Moving to another small room, black and white photos on the wall clearly depict the development process and glorious years of pearl embroidery, expressing the brilliant vision of old artists such as Wang Lihua. This great craft, which originally originated in Venice, has now taken root and sprouted in Xiaoshan, recording the deep affection of this city. Through continuous improvement and inheritance, it has now become vibrant and vibrant.
The cultural center perfectly reproduces the scene of the old artist's work, with colorful fabrics and small benches placed on the miscellaneous but not disorderly table, witnessing every lonely and resilient moment of the old artist. The narrow space is filled with countless craftsmanship spirit. What catches my eye is the cheongsam here, which is exquisitely and elegantly hung in an orderly manner. The red and green colors are bright, and the exquisite pearl embroidery injects soul into the entire cheongsam, making people love it. Even a big boy like me cannot help but want to take one away.
Among the works exhibited this time, there are representative works by Teacher Zhao Xixiang, such as "Ten Thousand Thread Silk 5801", and representative works by Wang Lihua, such as "Girl", which are eye-catching. Rather than being a cultural edification, it is more like a beautiful visual feast. The inheritance of intangible cultural heritage requires our generation to carry forward and promote it. We hope that these precious cultures can be renewed in their old age.
6. Hangzhou Kaiyuan Forest Park Resort, sensing the temperature of life in a childlike atmosphere
Believe that everyone has a fairy tale dream in their heart, no matter how old you are, this dream will never pass away. When we were young, we always envied the male and female protagonists in fairy tales. They mastered strange magic and shouldered the mission of relieving the heavens, which was incredibly sacred. As we grow up, we still envy the protagonists in fairy tales, but what we envy at this time is their worry free life and energetic spirit. If there were such a place where you could relive the joy of children, would you be willing to go?
I think most people's answers are affirmative, and I am no exception. On this trip to Xiaoshan, we arrived at such a resort hotel, which allowed me to find the childlike innocence in nature. Hangzhou Kaiyuan Senbo Resort is located in the Xianghu National Tourism Resort. The park takes nature as its starting point and combines two modules: "boutique vacation" and "fun amusement" to create a large leisure and vacation complex that integrates accommodation, amusement, catering, and business.
When you come to Hangzhou Kaiyuan Senbo Resort, you must check in to the children's playground here. It has a magical name called Fantasy Island. Coming here, it seems like you can fully unleash your long buried imagination, and your mind will open up for a moment, making your cells all over your body start to become active. Entering Fantasy Island, I was greeted by two red and blue combination dolls. For someone my age, I can't remember which animated character they were from, but I was still amused by their cute and charming appearance. Their cute little feet were very eye-catching, making me unable to help but laugh.
The overall structure of the children's playground resembles a cave, with rockeries as the main theme. With various entertainment facilities embellishing it, it appears lively and lovely. Various bright colors collide with each other, creating an incredibly joyful atmosphere. It is definitely a paradise for children. Unfortunately, most of the people who came here were parents and children. As a big boy, I seemed a bit out of place, so I took a quick look and left.
Next, I arrived at the Kaiyuan Posen Resort Hotel and had long heard that the hotel had an excellent check-in experience. Today, I saw it and it truly lived up to its reputation. At the entrance of the hotel, birds chirp and flowers smell fragrant. A huge pool of water catches the eye, surrounded by clusters of flowers and green trees. The atmosphere of nature fills the air, conveying the spirit of the resort park without reservation. The overall appearance of the hotel is L-shaped, which greatly enhances the utilization of space and makes it visually more unique.
As I walked into the hotel, the design of the lobby was particularly attractive to me. The design above the reception desk was unique, like floating leaves swaying in the air, extremely artistic and captivating. The reception desk adopts lighting elements, which complement the Xianghu landscape of the background wall without any sense of discord. The goose yellow tiles and the brown yellow ceiling complement each other, blending in different shades of color, making people feel comfortable and conveying aesthetic concepts to residents.
The living room next to it is elegant and retro, with countless small objects placed on the exquisite wall, making it dazzling. The fabric sofa on one side is simple yet aesthetically pleasing, refreshing. Moving to the guest room, there are two clean king beds arranged in the room. The design of the room is based on khaki color, simple and modern, and the exquisite crystal chandelier instantly enhances the style of the room. The leather sofa in the same color scheme, the textured wardrobe, and the vintage and elegant dressing mirror all convey the warmth of the hotel to the residents.
Through the windowsill, one can overlook the panoramic view of the resort park. The entire park is surrounded by lush mountains and forests, as if isolated from the world, enjoying the unknown leisurely pleasure.
7. Visit the Xianghu Cross Lake Bridge Site Museum and encounter the 8000 year old Chinese civilization
When it comes to Xiaoshan, people will think of Xianghu Lake, and when it comes to Xianghu Lake, the famous one is the Cross Lake Bridge Site Museum. As the source of Zhejiang civilization, the Cross Lake Bridge culture carries too many memories of Xiaoshan. A single canoe is enough to immerse you in infinite imagination. As early as 8000 years ago, there was a group of people who migrated from the mountains to the coastal plains and became the first batch of "trendsetters" in the new era, lighting up the dawn of Zhejiang civilization and continuously promoting the development of history. And the leaders of this new era are the people of Cross Lake Bridge.
The Xianghu Cross Lake Bridge Site Museum is located in the Xianghu Tourism Resort and is a thematic museum that comprehensively reflects the archaeological excavation and research results of the Cross Lake Bridge Site. The overall design of the museum is based on a "canoe", which can be clearly seen from both the plan and the facade, reflecting the spirit of interaction between humans and nature. In addition to its unique design, the material selection of the museum is also ingenious. Its appearance uses rusty materials, fully showcasing the sense of historical vicissitudes and telling the story of eight thousand years of historical culture.
The museum is nestled by mountains and rivers, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Looking from afar, the museum is like a lone boat embedded in the blue waves, appearing somewhat like a drop in the ocean. Slowly walking along the path towards the museum, the cross lake bridge site on the roadside is particularly eye-catching. Several large golden characters are engraved on the ancient stone tablet, with the words "National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit" written on its head, indicating its prestigious status.
Along the way, the scenery was beautiful, with occasional sparse fallen leaves that seemed to convey the autumn atmosphere to visitors. However, fortunately, today the sunshine is brilliant, and there is no sense of the desolation of autumn. Entering the Xianghu Cross Lake Bridge Site Museum, ancient scenes come to mind one after another, instantly bringing people back to ancient times and leaving them with countless thoughts.
The museum is mainly divided into four parts. The first part is about the birth of the Cross Lake Bridge culture. Through scene pictures, the museum vividly describes how the Cross Lake Bridge people moved from the mountains to the plains. In the scene, the Cross Lake Lakers are studying geology, bowing and dedicating themselves to the development of human civilization, making people unable to move their steps. The second part, through painting and sculpture, reproduces the activities of the Cross Lake Lakers for everyone. At that time, the Cross Lake Bridge people had already learned to make simple production tools, which was enough to witness the wisdom of ancient working people.
The third part is the exploration of the origin of agriculture, and what shocked me the most was that the Cross Lake Bridge people had a lot of research on taming wild boars, which gave birth to the earliest domestic pig in China. Of course, there are countless titles belonging to the Cross Lake Bridge people. In addition, this place also gave birth to China's earliest painted pottery, China's earliest jade artifacts, and of course, the world's earliest canoe, which has become a treasure of the town. A small leaf canoe not only supports the entire Zhejiang civilization, but also plays a crucial role in promoting world civilization.
The fourth part focuses on the site of the Cross Lake Bridge, where many precious memories about the people of the bridge are displayed. Some seemingly worthless stones have become the crystallization of the wisdom of the people of the Bridge. Perhaps only by truly visiting the Xianghu Cross Lake Bridge Site Museum can we truly understand Zhejiang culture and enter the world civilization.
8. Strolling through Xianghu Lake, capturing the long lost peaceful time
To compare West Lake to West Lake, it is always appropriate to wear light makeup and heavy makeup. Under Su Shi's pen, West Lake has been renowned for a long time and has become a resounding urban business card of Hangzhou. However, Hangzhou has a superior geographical location and pleasant scenery, and its charm is far more than that. For locals, it is better to go to Xianghu Lake to immerse themselves in the autumn scenery and encounter a peaceful place amidst the mountains and waters, rather than the crowded concave shape of West Lake.
Xianghu Lake is located in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, with beautiful scenery. It is known as the "sisters lake" of the West Lake. As one of the cradles of Chinese civilization, Xianghu Lake has not so many romantic legends, but it has left a precious culture unique to them in the growth rings of history. There is a national cultural relic protection unit, the Cross Lake Bridge Cultural Site, which unearthed the world's earliest canoe, as well as the Yue King City Site located at the top of the city mountain, witnessing the turbulent years of the Yue King's "lying on the firewood and tasting the courage". Of course, this is also a favored place for literati, poets such as Li Bai and Lu You have left immortal poems here.
As the mother lake of Xiaoshan, Xianghu Lake has developed into one of the first national level tourist resorts, forming five major scenic spots including the Cross Lake Bridge, Xiangpu, Lake, Chengshan, and Yuelou. Among them, the most unforgettable is the famous Ten Scenic Spots of Xianghu Lake, which are worth visiting and savoring one by one.
Arriving at Xianghu Lake, the gentle autumn breeze blows gently, and the complexity of the journey is instantly swept away. Here, unlike West Lake, there are no noisy crowds, only the tranquil beauty surrounded by green shade. Looking around, the blue waves ripple and the lake water is clear and bottomless, with no trace of filth visible. It seems like I want to wash away all my inner desires. Looking at the lake for a long time, my mood becomes particularly calm. Standing like this, blowing the wind, and not speaking is also very beautiful.
The scenic area has a large green area, with small shrubs meticulously carved in a garden style, becoming vivid and lovely. While preserving the original style of nature, they are infused with an artistic atmosphere, which is truly unforgettable. Walking and stopping all the way, we arrived at the edge of the cross lake bridge. The ancient stone bridge stood quietly, enduring wind and rain without wavering, witnessing countless seasons and seasons. The stone bridge has been slightly mottled under the wind and rain. The grass beside it has withered and flourished every in one year, withers and thrives once each. It was originally a bleak autumn scene, but it has become particularly warm due to the presence of the sun.
The willow trees by the lake dance with the wind, it's hard to imagine that in such a deep autumn, one can still see such tender green willow branches, which makes one cannot help but marvel at the power of life. Looking at the cross lake bridge from afar, it is like a bond, pulling people back and forth, and like a white dragon, freely weaving through the long river of eight thousand years of historical civilization.
After the clouds have dispersed, when the moon is slanting, the tide falls and the boat is drunk. Due to time constraints, I was unable to catch a glimpse of the diverse night scenery of Xianghu Lake, but its picturesque and picturesque appearance was deeply imprinted in my heart and lingered for a long time.
9. Come to the Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum and experience the magnificent transformation of dilapidated brick kilns
As is well known, China is the capital of ceramics, with exquisite ceramic artworks depicting the civilization and customs of China for thousands of years. On this, traces of history can always be found. However, when it comes to ceramics, everyone will think of Jingdezhen. As the pioneer of Chinese ceramics, Jingdezhen has been civilized both domestically and internationally due to its ceramics. However, with the continuous development of society, ceramics are no longer exclusive to Jingdezhen, and many places also regard them as treasures. This trip to Xiaoshan has such a place that particularly attracted me and is still fresh in my memory.
It is the Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum, located on Meishan Island in the Xianghu Tourist Resort of Xiaoshan District. The mountain island stands tall, with rippling blue waves and green trees surrounding it. The museum is hidden in such a peaceful place, allowing nature to encounter art and let art coexist with nature. The former site of the museum is a large brick kiln factory from the 19th century. With the development of the times, brick kilns gradually withdrew from the historical stage, and after a series of renovations, the museum now exists.
Upon arriving at the Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum, what caught my eye was a brick building with sharp edges. The red stone bricks shone brightly under the sun, and under the blue sky and white clouds, the "Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum" slowly unfolded in front of me. The collision of red and black created a strong modern atmosphere, which made me marvel at the designer's ingenuity. While retaining the original architectural style, the museum added unconventional modern elements, making it look very artistic.
Entering the museum, I was greeted by a towering red brick pillar that resembled a chimney. The bottom was covered in green grass, lush and charming, making it a delightful sight. The main theme of the museum is brick red with white lines embellishing it, giving it a sense of literature and art of a Roman town. Surrounded by trees, some of which have already turned slightly yellow, it seems to be on par with this artificial artwork.
Upon arriving at the museum, my view was instantly lit up. The displays inside the museum broke my traditional beliefs. Unlike the ceramic museums I had visited before, there were no warm and heavy yellow lights or retro brown walls. Everything looked youthful, enthusiastic, and modern. The interior design of the museum is mainly white, and with the embellishment of various ceramic artworks, it appears cluttered and not messy.
Exquisite ceramic vases are placed in glass frames one by one, with a sacred and inviolable meaning. The goose yellow tiles are spotless, shining brightly under the light, making everything appear particularly quiet and beautiful, making it hard to break this beautiful scene. Shuttling through the long corridor, it feels like being confined to a small space. At this moment, it has nothing to do with the ups and downs of life, only the influence of art.
What I can't put down the most is the small jars of different shapes, small and exquisite. The color tone of the logs blends with the withered yellow bamboo forest behind me, like a natural picture that brings beautiful visual enjoyment everywhere. Arriving at the Ceramic Museum, one cannot help but experience the joy of handicrafts. Under the guidance of the staff, we have completed works that can only be defined as cute. However, looking at these little ones, we feel a strong sense of achievement, and the happiness that is transmitted through our fingertips naturally arises.
10. Come to Xianghu Financial Town's Slow Life Pedestrian Street and Encounter Slow Time
In the past, the sun became slow, the carriage, horse, and mail were all slow, and a lifetime was only enough to love one person. Since then, "slow" has not only been an adjective, but has also become a hot pursuit in the hearts of countless urban people. It symbolizes a comfortable and relaxed living state, highlighting the pursuit of a calm and leisurely life. The last stop of our journey to Xiaoshan is Xianghu Financial Town, where the slow paced pedestrian street seems to have been pressed with the fast rewind button. Time passes silently, and life is only known at this moment.
Xianghu Financial Town is located in the Xianghu National Tourism Resort in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. The town is surrounded by mountains and water, with beautiful scenery. It is a feng shui treasure kissed by angels and is known as the "Zurich Lake Area" in China.
When I first saw Xianghu Financial Town, I was attracted by its rich natural scenery. Rather than being a small town, it was more like walking into a park surrounded by flowers and trees, creating a vibrant atmosphere. It's hard to believe that in this golden November, one can still see such a spring scene, interpreting the temperature of the scenic area without reservation.
Under the blue sky and white clouds, a quaint yet artistic stone tablet stands tall, engraved with the six characters "Xianghu Financial Town". The handwriting is elegant and handsome, with a strong aroma of books. The design of the stone tablet is unique, and currencies from different eras collide freely, applying aesthetics to the extreme, giving people a refreshing feeling.
Heading straight towards the Slow Life Pedestrian Street, the surrounding greenery is very thoughtful, making people feel refreshed and refreshed. Before reaching the pedestrian street, the mood becomes particularly calm. Walking and stopping all the way, the green plants on the side are thriving, making people feel even more joyful. Unconsciously, I arrived at the Slow Life Pedestrian Street, where ancient buildings with white walls and black tiles came into view. The buildings were arranged in a neat and orderly manner, but their styles varied. Some lived along the river, some had scattered towers, and some were left behind and independent. They slowly unfolded in front of me like an ink painting, revealing the tenderness of Jiangnan everywhere.
Walking slowly along the pedestrian street, you can see a variety of shops lined up, with various flavored restaurants, art studios, internet famous milk tea shops, and more, satisfying all your desires for petty bourgeoisie. Walking into any home, you can encounter a different new world. Surprisingly, this place is not truly returning to simplicity. The commercial atmosphere is faintly visible, but there is no sense of the hustle and bustle of the market. Instead, it makes people feel more convenient and comfortable, and every place appears just right.
Climbing up the stairs, we arrived at the stone bridge in the small town, which became the best viewing spot in the whole area. The lake was shimmering nearby, surrounded by green mountains in the distance, and large golden rice fields collided with various flowers, creating an unconventional beauty. The gentle breeze, mixed with the tenderness of the lakeside, dissolved countless hustle and bustle in this vast lake water, and a sense of slowness surged in my heart.
About Transportation
Hangzhou has very developed transportation. Airplanes, trains, and highways are all very convenient. From Hangzhou, a city outside Zhejiang Province, the most popular choices are airplanes and high-speed trains, while people within the province prefer high-speed trains and buses.
Aircraft: You can take a plane from all over to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport. The airport is relatively close to the city center, and the airport's highway is connected to the city center, about 45 minutes away from the city center. There are also long-distance buses to major cities in the province, dedicated buses to the city center, and taxi service stations.
train: There are currently three railway stations in use in Hangzhou, namely Hangzhou Railway Station (i.e. City Station), Hangzhou East Station (High speed Railway Station), and Hangzhou South Station (not yet in use). Various regions can also choose trains or high-speed trains to Hangzhou.

Among them, Hangzhou Passenger Transport Center is the most important long-distance passenger transport center in Hangzhou. According to the relative geographical location of Hangzhou, cars from the four stations are heading in different directions.
Subway; Public transportation: Hangzhou has currently opened subway lines 1, 2, and 4. It can directly reach some popular tourist attractions in the city and train stations. (It is also very convenient to buy tickets. You can use Alipay to buy tickets directly.)
Public transportation is also very developed, and the vast majority of scenic spots are already accessible by bus. In addition, most of Hangzhou's public buses are unmanned ticketing vehicles, which are self operated and do not provide change.
To go to Xiaoshan in Hangzhou, you can choose Subway Line 1 to Xianghu Station (please note that both Hangzhou Station and Hangzhou East Station are direct), and it is about a 15 minute walk (starting price by taxi). You can also choose Metro Line 2, which is very convenient.
