Memory of Hangzhou

It is only an hour's drive from Shanghai to Hangzhou. If you ask me how many times I have been to Hangzhou, I might tell you at least dozens of times. Because of work, friends, family, and even more because of my unspeakable love for the city.

If you ask me which scenic spots in Hangzhou are worth recommending, I might tell you that you must visit the West Lake. There is a saying,"Not being to the West Lake means not being to Hangzhou." I don't know how everyone knows about West Lake. Maybe it's because of the beautiful scenery of West Lake, or maybe it's because of the legend of the New White Lady. In fact, there are no green snakes and white snakes underground in Leifeng Tower, and there are no infatuated Xu Xian beside the West Lake. There is only the picturesque West Lake. Beautiful scenery.

The so-called beautiful scenery of the West Lake is generally the ten scenery of the West Lake. The most famous ones are the spring dawn on the Su Causeway in the Southern Song Dynasty, the snow on the broken bridge, the wind and lotus in the Qu Yuan, the fish viewing in the flower harbor, the warblers in the willow waves, the sunset on the thunder peaks, the moon on the three ponds, the moon on the Pinghu Lake, the moon on the autumn, the double peaks inserted into the clouds, and the evening bell in Nanping.

This time I brought friends to Hangzhou for a tour, and the first stop would naturally be West Lake.

Every season has unique scenery. Friends say that clear lakes are not as good as rain lakes, and rain lakes are not as good as snow lakes. This time I took her on a boat on a rainy day. I thought she was just a joke to comfort us when encountering rainy days. Unexpectedly, the West Lake in the rain also had a unique charm. The West Lake in the misty rain is like a painting of mountains and rivers with thick ink and heavy colors, and it also looks like a delicate woman coming from afar. It has a unique temperament in its hazy and hazy manner. When I visited the West Lake on a cruise ship for the first time, the three ponds and the moon in the distance suddenly appeared in front of my eyes. The child next to me took out the paper money on them and pointed it out to her mother, saying,"Isn't this the pattern on the RMB?"

Looking at the Leifeng Tower in the distance and listening to my friends telling me about the past of Leifeng Tower, I couldn't help but feel sorry. I heard that the sunset of Leifeng was particularly bright and touching. Although I definitely couldn't see it this time in the rainy weather, the Leifeng Tower in the rain is also particularly eye-catching.

The West Lake is really big. If you want to save your energy, I would still recommend taking a cruise ship to tour the lake. When the cruise ship slowly slides through the water, you can see the verdant on both sides of the river. Seeing the pedestrians holding umbrellas on the shore look like a blooming stamens, it's not to mention how comfortable it is.

If you still ask me what attractions in Hangzhou are worth visiting, I think it might be Xianghu. Perhaps it is not as famous as the West Lake. Xianghu Kisi is known as the "sister lake" of the West Lake for its beautiful scenery. This is the hometown of He Zhizhang, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty. Famous people such as Li Bai, Lu You, Wen Tianxiang, and Liu Ji have left immortal poems here. Looking from a distance, although Xianghu is not as gentle and beautiful as the West Lake, it has a bit more atmosphere. It is also one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization.

When you come to Hangzhou, you must try the authentic Hangzhou cuisine. The taste of Hangzhou cuisine is mainly salty and slightly sweet. "Light" is a symbolic feature of Hangzhou cuisine. Needless to say, the special dishes are definitely must-order dishes from West Lake vinegar fish and Dongpo pork. Local friends recommended going to the Hangbang Cuisine Museum. The authentic Hangbang cuisine, elegant and poetic decoration are definitely the best choice to entertain friends from other places.

After eating, you can also go to the Hangbang Cuisine Museum. Ten exhibition areas, scenes of 20 historical events have been restored, and cultural relics from ancient times to the present have been displayed, sorting out the inheritance and development of Hangbang Cuisine from different periods from Liang cultures to the Northern and Southern Dynasties. There are all Hangbang cuisine I have eaten here that I have never eaten before. The lifelike food model makes me have a desire to taste delicious food after a full meal.

In terms of accommodation, in addition to the B & Bs and hotels by the West Lake, this time I chose to book at the Bairui Canal Hotel in Hangzhou next to the canal. Huzhou Memory

Regarding Huzhou, I guess the first thing everyone can think of is Moganshan. I love watching variety shows and often see Moganshan on the show. It is also strange. This is my first time to visit Moganshan. But the beautiful scenery of Mogan Mountain has long been imprinted in my mind. Foreign family music, celebrity villas, bare heart castle, etc. are definitely places I want to check in.

It is said that this place commemorates the couple sword smiths Shi Moxie and Gan Jiang during the Spring and Autumn Period. This mountain is named after their surnames, so it is called "Mogan Mountain". Although it is not as majestic and magnificent as Mount Tai and Mount Hua, the green bamboo sea and crystal clear mountain springs add a touch of beauty, enjoying the reputation of "the first mountain in the south of the Yangtze River".

Mogan Mountain is really unusually cool after the rain. Look at the trickle of clear springs flowing in the mountain stream and clanging against the rocks. There are many famous villas in the mountains. Maybe this is the paradise in the eyes of the ancients. Imagine how happy it would be to look out from under the statue in the house one morning. As one of China's four major summer resorts, thousands of tourists compete to come here. There are also many relics of historical celebrities. If they are babies of history lovers, they will come here to look for traces of time.

Speaking of Taihu Lake, it is not only located next to Wuxi in Suzhou, but Huzhou is also connected to Taihu Lake. My friend said that he would take me to Taihu Lake for dinner at night. I thought there was nothing to see about Taihu Lake, but I didn't take it seriously. I didn't expect Huzhou Taihu Tourist Resort to have so many interesting places.

Several fishing boats could be heard on the lake from afar. From a distance, they looked like warships from the Dongwu period. Unexpectedly, they were actually fishing boats used by local fishermen. They were both practical and beautiful. They stopped on the lake when they were not fishing. There are several motorboats running through the water. Tourists can choose to take motorboats to play. The water surface is extremely open and soothing, comparable to the vastness of the sea. It feels like the sea but not the sea. The circular buildings in the distance are also very unique, and you don't have to go to the island. You can also enjoy that unique comfort.

Speaking of Huzhou's food, bamboo shoots should be inseparable. For lunch, choose to taste the unique local food at the Moganshan Shangqueen Hotel. You must taste all kinds of dishes fired from bamboo shoots.

After visiting Huzhou Taihu Tourist Resort in the evening, it is natural to taste the local characteristics of the "Taihu Three Whites"(white shrimp, white fish and silver fish), which are particularly delicious. Jiaxing Memory

I have been to Jiaxing many times, and my favorite is Xitang. The thousand-year-old Xitang is as gentle and beautiful as a graceful Jiangnan woman. The white walls and ink roofs are reflected on the water, like a rice paper painting. Use your fingers to stroke the stone wall of the alley and touch the heartbeat of this ancient city. It has been raining heavily for many days, but it's sunny in Xitang. I especially like Xitang under the blue sky and white clouds. It's especially fresh and refined.

When the smoke came, curled smoke floated out of the town, and the aroma of rice came over. The greedy kitten looked through the window and looked at the table full of sumptuous dishes. I wonder what it was thinking about?

The sky slowly sank. The lights of the old houses in the ancient town were beginning to turn on, and the rowing boat creaked and staggered across the water. Sitting on the stone steps by the water's edge, he was in a daze. Time seemed to have stopped at this moment. I really want to stay in this leisurely time.

South Lake in Jiaxing City is also one of the must-see attractions. South Lake is one of the three famous lakes in Zhejiang and has always had a unique landscape of "islands in the lake and lakes in the island". Although it is not as beautiful as the West Lake that "I want to compare the West Lake to the West, and it is always suitable to apply heavy makeup", it is still the beautiful scenery and has been praised by literati and scholars since ancient times. Su Dongpo came to Jiaxing three times and wrote,"Wen Tao Nanhu Song, The hibiscus is like brocade Zhang, how can it rain all night and see the vast water in the sky?" Qianlong went to Jiangnan for the sixth time and built the Chengde Summer Resort building exactly on the island in the middle of the lake and named it Yanyu Tower. He also left stone carvings in the building. Now you can still see Qianlong's calligraphy.

The construction of the island in the center of the lake is particularly elegant as the Jiangnan courtyard, with rockery, nine-turn corridors, and potted plants. No wonder Emperor Qianlong climbed the Yanyu Tower on the island in the center of the lake. Standing on the Yanyu Tower, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of South Lake.

Looking from a distance, there is also a mogulu tower in the distance. The mogulu tower was one of the seven towers and eight temples in Jiaxing in ancient times. It was named because it was adjacent to Chenghao in the north and its water was like a feather. Legend has it that Su Dongpo once came here to drink tea and had a chat with Elder Wen here. The tower is the tallest building in the entire Nanhu Lake. The entire tower is a relatively easy type to climb. It is in the architectural style of the Song Dynasty. Standing up, the view is particularly clear and the breeze is cooler than blowing air conditioning.

Regarding accommodation, there are actually many B & Bs and hotels to choose from in Xitang. I usually stay at Yanyu Jiangnan Hotel, which is about a 5-minute walk from Xitang Scenic Area. The hotel style is elegant and decorated. Of course, everyone in the B & Bs inside has to slowly choose the style they like.

Don't miss the local rice dumplings for Jiaxing's delicious food, especially the fresh meat rice dumplings, which are particularly delicious, delicious and rich in the fragrance of rice dumplings. People who have never eaten meat rice dumplings have also fallen in love with the rice dumplings here.

I came to Jiaxing before to participate in the Mutton Festival in Zhangpu. The mutton in Zhangpu does not have the fishy smell of mutton, and it feels warm when eaten in winter. Don't miss the old duck wonton pot in Xitang. It is definitely my favorite in Xitang. It's a delicious food. Warm and mellow old duck soup paired with large wontons warms the heart and stomach. You must order it every time you go to Xitang.

Shaoxing Memory

In fact, this is Shaoxing for the second time, but the main trip I visited before was Keqiao. When I mention Shaoxing, what comes to mind is Lu Xun, rice wine, and fragrant beans. I wonder if you are like me.

It was my first time to visit the Yellow Wine Museum. I heard that it was the largest Yellow Wine Museum in China. The museum showed the development process of Chinese Yellow Wine in various forms. There was also an underground wine cellar. This was the first time I had such close contact with the Yellow Wine Cellars. I have also visited the wine cellar of white wine and red wine before, and I feel that the cellars are still slightly different.

I have been reading Lu Xun's works in textbooks since I was a child. Lu Xun's hometown is definitely one of the must-visit places. Here, you can truly experience the scenes written by Lu Xun and the real place where Lu Xun lived in those days.

Walking from Baicao Garden to Sanwei Bookstore, I recalled the witty young man leap earth under the moonlight. A small river flowed in front of Lu Xun's former residence. The wupeng boat swayed on the river. Scenes in the book kept coming to my mind. There are several small attractions in Lu Xun's hometown, so remember to check in slowly one by one.

Anchang Ancient Town is one of the four famous ancient towns in Shaoxing. Its architectural style inherits the typical characteristics of Jiangnan water town. The old street is built along the river. On the south of the river are residential buildings, on the north of the river is the commercial city, and the two sides are connected by ancient bridges. Walking in the ancient town, I felt the strong smoke of fireworks. Looking at the local elderly people sitting by the water's edge, I felt that our arrival had not affected their lives at all.

Anchang sausage and white sugar pulling are famous far and wide. Walking in the ancient town, you can see the happiness of local people drying bacon beside the covered bridge. White sugar pulling is a traditional local snack in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. If you are lucky, you can also see old people pulling white sugar.

This is the hometown of Shaoxing Master. There is also a Master Museum in the ancient town. Most of Shaoxing's folk customs for thousands of years have been preserved and continued in the ancient town. In the twelfth lunar month of the middle of winter, you can appreciate the festive, peaceful, ancient and simple local customs of the water town.

If we talk about Shaoxing cuisine, we must mention fragrant beans and rice wine. After all, it is a major feature of Lu Xun's works. Shaoxing's three odors are stinky tofu, moldy amaranth stalks, and stinky wax gourd. People who are used to eating it will definitely find it delicious in the world. Shao San Xian is simply my favorite. Fish balls, rice bamboo, black fungus, carrots, egg dumplings, skin tripe, meatballs, shrimp, mushrooms, quail eggs, etc. are light, refreshing and especially delicious when put together.
