Visit the First Zen Tea Village

For the first stop, we can depart directly from Hangzhou and take a bus to the First Zen Tea Village. Let's start the two-day and one-night tour here. Of course, the food and accommodation I choose are all at the B & Bs in this village because of its convenience.

Zen Tea First Village is located on the south side of Jingshan Town, Yuhang District, Hangzhou. It is a tourist attraction integrating leisure, entertainment and culture. Zen Tea First Village covers an area of about 40 hectares and consists of tea gardens, gardens and meditation cultural areas.

Zen Tea First Village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery and a fresh and pleasant atmosphere. It is a good leisure resort.

The mountains and plains here are full of tea gardens and bamboo gardens. You can take beautiful photos, or you can come here to wash your lungs and breathe in big mouthfuls of fresh air.

Of course, it is also rich in tea. Jingshan tea is very famous. It has a history of more than 1200 years. Local farmers drink tea picked in their own tea gardens, which is very sweet. There are also those made into accompanying gifts that can be taken home for family and friends to taste.

The catering in Zen Tea First Village is also very unique. You can taste local specialties and Zen teas, such as tea eggs, bamboo rice, chicken casserole, etc.

Hangzhou Yuhang Jingshan Temple is a Buddhist temple with a long history. It was built during the Northern and Southern Dynasties and has a history of more than 1500 years. It is also a tourist resort with beautiful natural scenery.

Jingshan Temple is located on the top of Jingshan Mountain. It is one of the tallest Buddhist temples in Hangzhou and one of the landmark buildings in Jingshan Town. The mountain peak is steep, the forest is dense, and the scenery is beautiful. Climbing to the top of Jingshan, you can overlook Jingshan Town, watch the sunrise and sunset, and feel the majesty and tranquility of nature.

There is a tea garden behind the mountain of Jingshan Temple. The Jingshan tea produced here is one of the famous teas in Hangzhou. The tea garden is surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, with pleasant scenery.

Of course, if you come here at meal time like me, you can taste the vegetarian zhai of Jingshan Temple here. The taste is still very good.

While appreciating the natural beauty, you can also appreciate the charm of Buddhist culture. Whether playing or seeking spiritual peace, Jingshan Temple is a good choice.

Luyuquan Culture Theme Park

Lu Yuquan is the location of the "Yuquan Sutra", one of the Double Ten Scenes of Jingshan Mountain. It is located in Shuangxi Village, Jingshan Town, Yuhang District, Hangzhou. It is a park where Jingshan tea culture is displayed. The park is a courtyard-style building with a construction area of approximately 1,045.3 square meters. The main landscapes include: Tea Sutra Stele Corridor, Lu Yu Bronze Statue, Yuquan Pavilion, Hongjian Tower, Tiaoxi Cottage, and Lu Yuquan Landscape.

This park is mainly for cultural display, integrating functions such as tea cooking, tea ordering experience, and tea room, becoming a platform for exchanges between local tea culture and Tang and Song Dynasties cultures. The "Yuhang County Annals" published in the Jiajing Year stated that this spring "descends from the middle cold spring", so it was praised as the "third spring in the world". The famous painter Zeng Mi named it for it.

Lu Yuquan has a history of more than 1200 years and is accompanied by towering ancient camphor trees. The spring is divided into two mouths, one large and the other small. The water from the big well is used to wash Chu, and the water from the small well is used to make tea. The three characters "Lu Yuquan" written by Mr. Sha Menghai, the master of contemporary calligraphy, are engraved on the bluestone next to the spring.

Here you can also experience tea making in the Tang Dynasty and ordering tea in the Song Dynasty. Sit together and fight tea like in movies and television dramas. However, the experience here requires an appointment one day in advance.

The B & B I stayed in this time was in the First Village of Zen Tea. It was very spacious and had beautiful halls. It also integrated traditional cultural elements, allowing people to have a deeper understanding of local culture and history while enjoying the tour.

The B & B consists of a three-story building with an elevator. You no longer have to carry your luggage and climb the stairs. Many B & Bs are actually not equipped with elevators, so this is also a reason for staying.

The rooms are fully equipped with facilities. Each room is equipped with a comfortable queen bed, desk, separate toilet, air conditioning and other basic facilities, and provides free WiFi.
