What is Xiaoshan

In history, Xiaoshan was placed under the jurisdiction of Shaoxing after liberation, then under Ningbo, and a few years later under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou City.

Now Xiaoshan Strict is the municipal jurisdiction of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the northern part of Zhejiang Province, on the south bank of Hangzhou Bay, and on the south bank of Qiantang River. It is located in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, where China's county economy is most active. It is adjacent to Keqiao District of Shaoxing City in the east, Zhuji City in the south, and Fuyang District in the west, and the Qiantang River in the northwest, facing the Main City of Hangzhou.

In fact, everyone comes to Hangzhou and visits Xianghu after visiting the West Lake. West Lake is actually not far from Xianghu, but Xianghu belongs to Xiaoshan.

Xiang Lake and West Lake are sister lakes. If you want to visit the lakes in Hangzhou, you must be these two lakes.

Hangzhou Orient Culture Park

Hangzhou Oriental Cultural Park is located in Yiqiao, Xiaoshan. It is a cultural tourist area based on traditional culture. The cultural park is divided into several parts, including Confucian area, Buddhist area and Taoist area. Although they are all artificial attractions, it is still good to visit.

There is a huge statue of Fushou Double Stars at the entrance, and there are many statues of Bodhisattva and immortals around the artificial rockery. Further inside is the manifestation of the Goddess of Mercy in the Buddhist District. The "Goddess of Mercy" is a regular program. Every day at 9:00, 10:30, 13:00, and 14:30 (subject to the announcement of the scenic area), the statue of Goddess of Mercy rises to the top of the mountain. The musical fountain begins to perform. Holy water is sprayed out from the pure bottle in the hands of the Bodhisattva. The good men and women below compete to welcome it. The scene is spectacular.

Walking inside is the thousand-year-old temple Yangqi Zen Temple. The underground palace square behind the temple houses a Buddha of Sakyamuni donated by the Buddhist community in Thailand. The Buddha statue is inlaid with gems and other gems. It is the largest jade statue of the reclining Buddha in the country.

After visiting the Golden Underground Palace of the Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda, continue to walk inside and climb the Sanjiang Pagoda to overlook the panoramic view of the Cultural Park and the surrounding city scenery. Behind the Sanjiang Pagoda is the Taoist and Confucian areas on the banks of Taixu Lake. It is also home to some antique buildings, statues and stone carvings related to Confucianism and Taoism culture. A water art corridor has a view of the lake. After a brief look, you can return from the Great Void Bridge to the vicinity of the entrance.

xianghu

Xianghu Lake is known as the "sister lake" of the West Lake for its beautiful scenery. It is a lake located in Xiaoshan Strict, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.

There is also the excavated Kuahuqiao Cultural Site here, which is a national-level cultural relic protection unit. The world's earliest canoe was unearthed here, pushing the prehistoric history of Zhejiang civilization to 8,000 years.

The Yue Wangcheng site at the top of Xianghu City Mountain has a history of more than 2500 years. It was an important military castle where Goujian stationed troops to resist Wu. It witnessed the historical situation of "lying on hardships and tasting courage" and is by far the best preserved ancient city wall site;

Xianghu is also the hometown of He Zhizhang, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty. Famous people from all ages such as Li Bai, Lu You, Wen Tianxiang, and Liu Ji left immortal poems and poems here.

Xianghu Lake in June and July has beautiful scenery. Lotus flowers are in full bloom in the lake, and flowers are blooming all over the ground. It is very beautiful to take photos.

Moreover, Xianghu Lake, like West Lake, does not charge tickets, so you can stroll around here casually. There is Metro Line 1 around it, which can be reached by walking or changing buses after exiting Xianghu Lake. If you want to walk around Xianghu Lake, you probably need to walk for a day and a night. It can be seen that Xianghu Lake is still very large.

It is also a great place for a family to hang out, set up a tent and spend a leisurely afternoon.

white Dragontemple

On the top of Hangwu Mountain in Dongen Village, Guali Town, Xiaoshan, there is a Bailong Temple, which was built between the Xining years of the Northern Song Dynasty (1066-1070).

From here, you can overlook Xiaoshan, like a ship near the Tiangong Palace. There are no high-rise buildings around and no buildings that block your line of view. The view is super good.

This place is very suitable for coming up and relaxing, taking photos, with the cool breeze, few people, very quiet, the kind of state where you can relax after the hustle and bustle of the city.

Admission to the temple is only 5 yuan. You can also eat vegetarian food on the mountain at noon and stay there quietly for a day!

When I heard it, I thought it was a restaurant or something. In fact, it was a playground. Many projects can only be played by parents and children. When I have time, I should take my children to play!

Although most of the places are for children, adults can actually play, so it has become a place for a few of us young people to check in, playing small trains, go-karting, horse riding, archery, etc.

There are also many places for everyone to check in, such as a big locomotive inside, several beautiful tents, which give you a camping feeling, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, etc.

It is a very good park for parent-child play.

Lanhai Town

This is a research base, and you can also pick all kinds of melons, fruits and vegetables. The ecology here is very good, and all kinds of birds, small animals and insects come here to inhabit. Staff also built nests for insects.
Technological agricultural production, picking various seasonal fruits, is a farm for parents and children to play, and can also teach children about various crops, plants and animals.

Heshang Ancient Town

There were not many people in this ancient town, and it was dinner time when we arrived, making it even more peaceful.

Most of the buildings here are old buildings or antique buildings. If you drive by yourself, you can stroll around here. It is quite comfortable to walk around.

Anyway, it's not the kind of crowded state. After observing, the greening, sanitation, and hardware are all very good, and the happiness index of local residents is still quite high.

Bonian Memorial Hall

Ren Bonian, Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, and Huang Binhong were called "the four great artists of modern art in my country."

Ren Bonian Memorial Hall is located on the north side of Hangwu Park, covering an area of 11 acres and a construction area of 2544 square meters. The buildings are arranged in the order of the foyer, main building, auxiliary hall, etc., and are connected by a corridor.

The main function of the memorial hall is to display Mr. Ren Bonian's representative works. It mainly introduces the life story, creative style, and social activities of the modern painter Mr. Ren Bonian in the form of words, pictures, etc.

Fengsheng Village

I passed by a small village, which was very clean and very cultural. There was an ancient well. Many local villagers came here to collect water for home use.

hangmin village

Hangmin Village has successfully embarked on the path of rural industrialization to become rich. Xiaoshan Bleaching and Dyeing Factory, the first village-run enterprise established in 1979 with a collective accumulation of 60,000 yuan, exceeded one million yuan in 1982, and Hangmin became the first "millionaire village" in Xiaoshan at that time.

Driven by the main business of printing and dyeing, it has extended and developed in a supporting manner, and has become a nationally renowned large-scale enterprise group mainly focusing on printing and dyeing and gold, and supporting textiles, dyes, and heat and electricity.
