Chun'an Qiandao Lake and Jinyun Xian are two established tourist attractions in Zhejiang, and their popularity is as famous as Hangzhou's West Lake and Wenzhou's Yandang Mountain. However, it is not easy to get to these two attractions by train or bus from Shanghai. Among them, it takes more than 7 hours from Shanghai to Jinyun by train. In 2011, taking advantage of the fact that the temperature in Jiangnan had not yet entered winter and the weather was fine, I took advantage of the weekend to go on a self-driving tour in Chun'an and Jinyun, covering a total distance of 1181 kilometers.

Unlike most tourists who go to Qiandao Lake, I did not choose to take a boat tour, but enjoyed the scenery while driving along the northern line of the highway around Qiandao Lake. This way of traveling costs gas, but saves the Qiandao Lake ticket of 150 yuan per person. Of course, self-driving tours can go to attractions that groups of tourists will not visit. Qinchuan Ancient Village, about 50 kilometers away from Chun'an County, is a typical Huizhui ancient village and is the return point for this self-driving tour around the lake on the northern line of Qiandao Lake. November 11, 2011 (Tonglu weather: cloudy to sunny, 8 to 17 degrees)

At 17:20 pm, starting from your home in Shanghai, take Luoshan Road, Outer Ring Expressway, Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway, Hangjinqu Expressway, Hangzhou Ring Expressway, and Hangxinjing Expressway to Tonglu.

At 18:25, I arrived at Xinqiao Toll Station of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway and drove a total of 41 kilometers.

At 18:50, I arrived at Fengjing Toll Station of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway. I traveled a total of 77 kilometers and charged 30 yuan for the highway.

At 19 o'clock, we arrived at Dayun Toll Station of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway and drove a total of 90 kilometers.

At 19:45, I arrived at the Xiasha service area of Hangzhou-Jinqu Expressway to rest and drove a total of 172 kilometers. Add No. 93 oil for 260 yuan, 7.23 yuan/liter.

At 21:02, I arrived at the Tonglu Toll Station of Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway. I traveled a total of 279 kilometers and charged 100 yuan for the highway.

Most restaurants in Tonglu closed early, and we had a simple meal of KFC near the Tonglu store of RT-Mart Supermarket.

At 21:45, I checked into Jinjiang Inn Tonglu Store. The member discount price was 152 yuan/night, and the total travel was 288 kilometers.

November 12, 2011 (Chun'an weather: sunny, 11 to 20 degrees)

I chose to stay in Tonglu instead of Chun'an County. One consideration was that Chun'an did not have economic chain hotels such as Jinjiang Inn and Home Inn. In addition, Tonglu is not very far from Chun'an and can be reached within an hour by high-speed driving. In 2007, I visited Tonglu and went to Yan Ziling Fishing Terrace, Yaolin Wonderland, Tongjun Mountain, and Tianmu River rafting, leaving a good impression on this county seat under Hangzhou. Compared with Lin 'an, the streets in Tonglu County are very clean.

The picture below shows Jinjiang Inn Tonglu Branch, located on Qiaodong Road on the north bank of the Fenshui River. It is very quiet at night.

At 9:50, I arrived at the Tonglu Toll Station of Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway and traveled a total of 297 kilometers.

At 10:45, I arrived at the Qiandao Lake Toll Station of Qianhuang Expressway. I traveled a total of 365 kilometers and charged 35 yuan for the highway.

Before entering Chun'an County, the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake is already in front of you.

The northern line of the highway around the Qiandao Lake is the Qianfen Line. The southern line of the highway around the lake is the Chunyang Line. In contrast, most sections of the Chunyang Line are far from the lake.

The Qianfen Line passes through Jieshou Township, Chun'an County, which is rich in oranges. There are many stalls selling oranges on both sides of the road.

Qinchuan Ancient Village. This is a free attraction. It is an authentic Hui-style ancient village without any commercial packaging. There are only villagers and no merchants.

When returning to Chun'an County, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake along the way.

When I came out of the parking space on the sidewalk, I accidentally collided the right front of the car with a very short concrete isolation pillar, causing the bumper under the fog lamp of the right front to dent. However, this did not affect my journey.

At 16:28, we arrived at the Qiandao Lake Toll Station of Qianhuang Expressway and traveled a total of 512 kilometers.

At 16:55, I arrived at Shouchang Toll Station of Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway. I traveled a total of 549 kilometers and charged 25 yuan for the highway.

From Chun'an to Jinhua, you can take the Hangxinjing Expressway and then turn into the Hangjinqu Expressway. However, there are some detours. It is better to get off the expressway from Shouchang Town, Jiande County, and drive to National Highway 320 and National Highway 330.

At 17:20, the Lanxi Toll Station on National Highway 330 drove a total of 570 kilometers, with a toll of 10 yuan.

Jinhua's specialty food is Jinhua Pot, a large pot of 10 straight bones. It is eaten while cooking like a hot pot. It tastes delicious. There are many restaurants running Jinhua Pot in Jinhua City, including many on Bayi North Road near Renmin West Road. I had dinner at a "Hongda" Jinhua Pot Shop in May 2010, and I visited it again this time.

After dinner, drive to Qingnian Road. Qingnian Road near Renmin West Road is lined with shops selling Jinhua ham. We bought 4 pieces of ham at 45 yuan/piece.

At 20:30, I checked into Jinjiang Inn Jinhua Binhong Road Store. The member discount price was 143 yuan/night, and the total travel was 628 kilometers.

November 13, 2011 (Jinyun weather: sunny to cloudy, 11 to 19 degrees)

At 9:25, Sinopec Gas Station in Lingxia Town, National Highway 330 added No. 93 oil by 155 yuan, or 7.23 yuan/liter.

At 9:30, we arrived at Lingxiazhu Toll Station on Jinliwen Expressway and drove a total of 640 kilometers.

At 9:50, I arrived at the Wuyi Service Area of Jinliwen Expressway to rest, and drove a total of 670 kilometers.

At 10:15, I arrived at the Jinyun Toll Station of Jinliwen Expressway. I traveled a total of 696 kilometers and charged 30 yuan for the highway.

On the way to Heyang Ancient Village, you pass through Xinjian Town, Jinyun. This is the hometown of Jinyun Ma Ya.

Crossing the bridge in front is Heyang Ancient Village. Looking from afar, you can already see Meitu.

Heyang Ancient Village. There is a ticket office at the entrance of the village that says tickets are 40 yuan per ticket, but there is no charge for entering the village, but a certain commemorative attraction must be entered by ticket. In fact, there is no need to spend this money. The representative scenery of the ancient village can be enjoyed for free.

When it was time for lunch, I ordered three dishes to fill my stomach at a farmhouse restaurant near Dinghu Peak.

At 15:24, we arrived at the Jinyun Toll Station of Jinliwen Expressway and traveled a total of 754 kilometers.

At 15:43, I arrived at the Wuyi Service Area of Jinliwen Expressway to rest, and drove a total of 779 kilometers.

At 15:43, I arrived at the Jinhua Service Area of Hangzhou-Jinqu Expressway to rest and drove a total of 842 kilometers.

I could have taken the highway directly back to Shanghai, but I was greedy. Since I passed through Hangzhou, I didn't forget to go to the city to have a bowl of Pianerchuan.

At 18:10, we arrived at the Xiaoshan East Toll Station of Hangzhou-Jinqu Expressway and drove a total of 961 kilometers. The high-speed charge is 120 yuan.

At Kuiyuan Restaurant on Jiefang Road, each family of three has a bowl of noodles, among which the price of fried eel noodles is the most expensive. I like Pianerchuan, add some shrimp, 19 yuan/bowl.

At 20:25, we arrived at the Pengbu Toll Station of Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway and drove a total of 998 kilometers.

At 21:03, I arrived at the Jiaxing Service Area of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway to rest and drove a total of 1058 kilometers.

At 21:24, I arrived at the Dayun Toll Station of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway. I traveled a total of 1091 kilometers and charged 55 yuan for the highway.

At 21:35, I arrived at Fengjing Toll Station of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway and traveled a total of 1104 kilometers.

At 21:57, I arrived at Xinqiao Toll Station of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway. I traveled a total of 1140 kilometers and charged 30 yuan for the highway.

At 22:32, I returned home and drove a total of 1181 kilometers.
