Written before the trip
I have always liked Hangzhou very much. Hangzhou, which is romantic in literature and art, has never lost its delicate and elegant aura, its poetic scenery of mountains and rivers and its unbroken humanistic history. It is like a "paradise on earth" where classical and modern, humanities and mountains and rivers coexist.
I have been in Hangzhou for so long, but I have never had any chance to go to Liangzhu. I have been locked up in the city's reinforced concrete for too long, and I have become more eager for the scent of earth with the breeze blowing my face, the mellow and simple customs and cultural characteristics. Therefore, this weekend I asked my friends to go on a pilgrimage to the site to experience the unique poetry and charm of this ancient city.
Traveling around Liangzhu, exploring the mystery of China's 5,000-year-old life experience
Before the discovery of the Liangzhu Site, it was a beautiful landscape.
Five thousand years have passed, and Liangzhu's humanistic feelings are still the same.
In a thousand years, this ruins park, which carries Chinese civilization and features archeology, is also China's 55th World Heritage Site. It is also the third World Heritage business card Hangzhou has received after the West Lake and the Grand Canal.
The idea of looking at the Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park is actually very simple. As early as July 6, 2019, at the 43rd World Heritage Conference held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, the Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins in Hangzhou were officially included in the "World Heritage List", which marks that the evidence of China's five thousand years of civilization has been widely recognized by UNESCO and the international mainstream academic community. From obscurity to world-famous, people can't wait to see the elegant appearance of the ancient hall and uncover the "mystery of life experience" that has buried five thousand years of Chinese civilization.
Today's Liangzhu Ancient City Heritage Park retains and restores the original wetland ecosystem in a large area. The entire park consists of a palace area, an inner city and an outer city. It has a centripetal triple layout structure with a total area of 631 hectares. The park is lush with lush forests and water systems. Vertical and horizontal, a green life;
After entering the park, everyone can take a battery car to tour the entire journey. Along the way, there are many stops such as Lucheng Gate, South City Wall, Zhongjiagang, East City Wall, Zhishan, Mojiao Mountain, Fanshan, Fengshan, Daguan Mountain, etc., speeding all the way, you can also experience the style of the water town and Zeyuo during the Liangzhu Ancient City ~
The first stop to check in is Luyuan, which is also an Internet celebrity attraction that has recently become popular!
Five thousand years ago, Liangzhu had a warm and humid environment, which was very suitable for the survival of deer animals. The antlers found in archaeology are the evidence of its life. Later, after the park opened, a group of sika deer were specially introduced, bringing vitality to this sacred land of civilization.
If you want to get close contact with deer, don't forget to buy carrots (the ancient city is sold in limited quantities every day, 15 yuan per bag). The little guys have a very sensitive sense of smell and will excitedly come to you for food when they smell it. Friendly reminder! Don't rush to throw out the carrots, take out the carrot cut into strips and tease it, and then feed it contentedly!
Continue forward and you will reach the Mojiao Mountain Palace Area. The palace area is located in the center of the city site, which is the Mojiao Mountain Palace on the map. The terrain is the highest and most open, reflecting the political concept of the ruling class that "the middle is respected and the height is respected". Standing on the platform of Damojiao Mountain and looking around, you will have a clear view of the scenery inside and outside Liangzhu Ancient City, and you will also have a heroic and magnificent feeling of overlooking the world.
The entire Mojiao Mountain Palace is in the shape of a rectangular bucket and is built manually using natural mountains. There are three palace bases distributed on it, forming a three-pronged confrontation. In the northwest is Xiaomojiao Mountain, in the northeast is Damojiao Mountain, and in the southwest is the smallest Turtle Mountain. The entire palace area has accumulated more than 2 million cubic meters of earth, making it the earliest "Forbidden City" in China.
I heard from locals that the ancient city of Liangzhu, known as the largest city in China, is almost the size of four Forbidden City in Beijing. The area of the Forbidden City is 720,000 square meters, while the total area of the city site of Liangzhu Ancient City is more than 2.9 Ten thousand square meters.
Unconsciously, I arrived at the Lucheng Gate next to the southern city wall of Liangzhu. After 5000 years of wind, sun, and time, the southern city wall of the ancient city was finally buried in the soil, covered with a 30-cm thick layer of soil and clover. This is also the only land transportation channel in the ancient city of Liangzhu.
Continuing forward, the Anshan King's Mausoleum was discovered in 1986. It is located on an artificial earth platform 6 meters above the surface in the northwest of the inner city. The 11 tombs are arranged in north and south rows. This is also the resting place of King Liangzhu. The unearthed objects include 1200 sets of precious cultural relics such as jade, stone, pottery, ivory, and jade inlaid lacquer ware. The number of burial objects, the quality of which is high, and the specifications of which are unprecedented. They are called the highest level known at present. Liangzhu Cultural Base.
The most important one with the highest rank is the tomb numbered No. 12. There are 647 jade pieces in this tomb alone. The "Cong King", weighing 6.5 kilograms and known as the first of Liangzhu Jade Cong, is placed flat above the tomb owner's left shoulder, while the "Yue King" is placed on the left side of the body. In this way, the "Cong King", who symbolizes theocratic power, and the "Yue King", who symbolizes military power, are both integrated into one, showing the tomb owner's supreme status as a "king".
Coming out of the Anshan Royal Mausoleum, you can also see a very interesting attraction along the way-the Chizhong Temple Granary. Near it, archaeologists discovered a carbonized rice accumulation layer, which is shaped like a river ditch and meanders on the east and west sides of the royal city. As early as more than 5000 years ago, the ancient country of Liangzhu was already a fertile paddy field, fragrant rice flowers, and the country was peaceful and the people were peaceful.
Liangzhu this season is a vast expanse of green and various flowers of sea, and the yellow flowers not far away are also in full bloom! Blue sky, white clouds and emerald green hillsides, this is undoubtedly summer in Hayao Miyazaki comics!
The lotus ponds under your feet are green and boundless, and lotus flowers are pink and dripping. A different kind of gorgeous lotus flower touches your heartstrings.
In midsummer, lotus flowers grow step by step; walking on the lotus pond road, it is like traveling back to a clear and lonely time. The flowers and leaves do not speak, the self is gentle, time flows, and the love blooms. It is a song, a poem and a painting!
Digitally wise Liangzhu, traveling for thousands of years with one eye
It is worth mentioning that in Liangzhu, you can also experience the emerging way of AR visiting the ancient city (the welfare activities launched during Liangzhu Day are usually not free to experience them). Bring the distributed AR glasses. This kind of intuitive, profound and interesting visual experience scenarios allow you to truly experience the blend of technology and history, and also gain a deeper understanding of Liangzhu civilization!
The Liangzhu Ancient City Digital Intelligence Experience Hall is also an experience that has to be checked in. It starts from the "Kingdom of God", which introduces the overall pattern of Liangzhu King City; to the "People and Water Home", which shows the harmonious picture of the coexistence of man and water in Liangzhu. The 50-meter digital scroll of "Country Fishing and Hunting" and "Yaoshan Sacrifice" in ancient times comes out in a unique way, showing the beauty of life, busy work, and prosperity of the ancestors in the water town!
The 426 Liangzhu characters are lifelike, vivid, vivid and vividly show the day of Liangzhu people five thousand years ago. With the VR interactive experience device, the real-life VR image "True Color Liangzhu" here can travel through 5,000 years of time and space, immersively understand the unique features of the Liangzhu ancient city ruins, and "witness with your own eyes" the magnificent civilization of the Liangzhu Kingdom at that time!
Craftiness Liangzhu, when the "world heritage" meets the "intangible cultural heritage"
Strolling through Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park, the air is filled with the heaviness of 5,000 years of history. The cultural relics in front of you solidify the times. From an ancient tomb and some jade jade, to a palace and a dam, the trees in Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park. Grass, trees, bricks and tiles are not only the rebirth of ancient history, but also the inheritance of modern civilization.
It is said that the hand-made experience can feel the historical context more than the appreciation of the eyes. If you experiment with yourself in the ancient city of Liangzhu, I believe you will be able to feel the interest of this place. It just happened that when we came, Liangzhu specially invited intangible cultural heritage craftsmen carried out a teaching experience of bamboo strip craftsmanship on site, so they took their friends excitedly to join in the fun!
Bamboo strips are a traditional Chinese handicraft in which bamboo silk strips are picked, pressed and interwoven. They are made of bright color, clear and lubricated, and are continuously folded and rolled. This ancient and beautiful craft has become increasingly marginalized under the impact of large machine production and replaced by various plastic and metal products. However, as a kind of traditional Chinese handicrafts, bamboo strips have also been used in various fields!
After so many years, the old craftsmen still adhere to this craft and continue their original ingenuity. Each green bamboo has transformed into various forms in their hands, thus creating a variety of bamboo weaving products. Each bamboo strip has natural spirituality, and every bamboo strip product is also a breathing life with their own story.
What is made is bamboo, and what is passed on is ingenuity! Looking at the children watching the bamboo strip products in the hands of the old craftsman, whether they are animals, characters or buildings, they can all become lifelike and lifelike through a few bamboos. In her curious and adoring eyes, she seems to have also seen something called inheritance.
Interestingly, until the 12th, there are various types of traditional craftsmanship display experiences such as pottery making, jade carving, and lacquer ware every day. Interested friends should not miss it!
Creative Liangzhu makes world cultural heritage "come alive"
Of course, don't miss the Liangzhu Original Life Hall here, which is also the recently popular Cultural and Creative Products Hall. The people in the life hall have artistically transformed various exquisite Liangzhu cultural derivatives into daily life. Everywhere you can see, you are the double image and rebirth of Liangzhu culture and real life. It's very interesting!
I heard that the Liangzhu Cultural and Creative Tmall Store is about to make a stunning appearance. Various activities such as cultural and creative markets and displaying cultural and creative achievements will be held in the Nancheng Wall display area. I really want to see the glory and excitement of Liangzhu as soon as possible!
