[Talk about this trip]

I have been to Hangzhou many times and have encountered Hangzhou's spring, summer, autumn and winter. In the early winter two years ago, I went to Xiaoshan in Hangzhou for the first time, and met many different scenery there.

Two years later, Xiaoshan, long time no see.

[Day 1]

Hangzhou International Expo Center

The first stop to Hangzhou is the Hangzhou International Expo Center, which was also the place where the G20 Summit was held in Hangzhou three years ago.

At present, this expo center is open to the public, and there will also be special people to receive it.

The total construction area here is 850,000 square meters. The main building consists of 5 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. It is a complex integrating multiple business formats such as conferences, exhibitions, catering, tourism, hotels, commerce, office buildings, and main contractors.

In the hall where the summit was held, there were many such carvings, mainly from scenic spots from all over the country. In such an unusual way, China's great rivers and mountains were shown to the leaders of various countries attending the meeting at that time. Even today, we still feel very lucky to be born in China.

The hanging garden surrounds the luncheon hall, which is the largest and most functional one in the country. Visiting here, it is not difficult to imagine the spectacular scene when the G20 Summit was held.

There is also a hanging garden in the International Expo Center. The overall building combines modern and ancient. It has both modern architectural beauty and the oriental aesthetics of traditional architecture. This feeling of blending is very good and has our own cultural characteristics.

From this point of view, the building of the International Expo Center is still very elegant and beautiful. The theme building embodies the simple philosophical view of "the sky is round and the earth is square" and also inherits our culture since ancient times.

Heshang Town Xu Tongtai Soy Sauce Restaurant

The second stop of our trip to Xiaoshan came to Heshang Town in Xiaoshan.

Heshang Town is located in the south of Xiaoshan Strict, at the junction of Xiaoshan, Zhuji and Fuyang urban areas. A market has been formed since the Tang Dynasty. This place has a long history, beautiful scenery, and profound cultural heritage. Since the Southern Song Dynasty moved its capital to Lin 'an, it has been a gathering of merchants and prosperous business. Since ancient times, Heshang Town has been the famous merchant distribution center at the junction of the three urban areas of Zhu, Xiao and Fu.

The weather was very good on the day I arrived in Heshang Town. Today's Heshang Town has also undergone some renovations, and now the old street has a better look. It is a place worth slowing down and having a good stroll.

When talking about Heshang Town, one must talk about Xu Tongtai in Heshang Town. This is a soy sauce factory, but because of its long history, coupled with the artificial craftsmanship and unique flavor of the soy sauce here, it can be said to be a representative enterprise of Heshang Town.

Heshang Xu Tongtai was founded in the early years of Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 140 years. At present, he still uses ancient methods to brew sauces, which are famous for their delicious, rich and long aftertaste.

The official sauce garden on the house number is a kind of certification for sauce making in the past, which is somewhat similar to our current business license.

Walking into Xu Tongtai, there are many such cans placed in the courtyard. They are all items brewed before. Now, they are no longer in use and have become places for people to take photos.

The buildings here combine Zhejiang folk houses and Hui-style buildings, which are very Jiangnan style.

We all know that Huizhou merchants were very powerful in ancient times, so the footprints of Huizhou merchants were spread all over the country, and naturally the horse-head walls that represent Huizhou architecture can be seen everywhere.

This big vat is the raw materials needed to brew soy sauce.

The raw material for brewing soy sauce is soybeans. Soybeans need to be dried in the vat for 180 days. The sauce aroma comes from opening the cover.

Among the people, there is a widely circulated saying,"Ask Hu Qingyu for medicine, Xu Tongtai for moistening the taste", which is enough to prove that the memory of traditional sauce-making is finally delicious. Nowadays, Xu Tongtai's soy sauce is also the exclusive soy sauce provided by Macau Doulao.

Xiaoshan Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall

Walking into Fengwu Village, this is a 3A-level scenic spot village in Zhejiang Province. And we came here mainly to visit the Xiaoshan Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall here.

Xiaoshan Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall is a memorial hall built by the people. It mainly allows us to keep in mind history and not forget what happened decades ago.

According to records, in the late period of the August 13 Battle of Songhu, the Japanese army landed in Hangzhou Bay and occupied Hangzhou on December 24. At this point, Xiaoshan became the front line of the Anti-Japanese War in eastern Zhejiang.

The exhibition hall gives a detailed introduction to the Xiaoshan War of Resistance and the bombing of the just-completed Qiantang River Bridge. It also gives a detailed introduction to the Japanese army's "bacterial warfare". However, because the Xiaoshan soldiers and civilians stood up and refused to surrender to the death, they won the final victory of the Anti-Japanese War.

These badges and records are evidence that Xiaoshan veterans once fought desperately.

Today, there are only 8 anti-Japanese war veterans still alive in Xiaoshan. They are all witnesses and witnesses of history.

In the difficult years, the military's command link relied on such radios. Although the equipment was crude, the people did not give up, and only then could the final victory be ushered in.

Currently, this memorial hall is open to the public for free, but it is closed every Monday.

Xiaoshan Lihua Lace and Bead Embroidery Culture Research Institute

Xiaoshan lace is an intangible cultural heritage. One embroidery needle, one embroidery thread, and a pair of skillful hands can embroider beautiful patterns with complex patterns. The charm of Xiaoshan lace lies in this.

Although this research institute is not big, it feels like a different world when you enter it. All the embroidery here are very fine and beautiful, making people unable to take their eyes off.

I like this yellow dress most. Although it doesn't look complicated, the embroidery on my body also requires a lot of energy to complete. For people who like traditional cheongsam and handicrafts, this must be a very good place.

Xiaoshan lace originated from handicrafts in Venice, Italy, and was later passed down through local improvement and innovation. It is not only an artistic treasure preserved by the memory of "intangible cultural heritage", but also a deep feeling for people to retain the memory of the city.

Of course, in addition to lace, there are also handicrafts such as bead embroidery and embroidery. These handicrafts are very exquisite and very skilled. It can be said to be a work of art that needs to endure loneliness.

This lace work can be said to be a treasure of the town store. Because of the complex patterns and complex techniques, it requires many people to complete it at the same time and then splice it together, so this piece is displayed separately.

It is estimated that the value of this lace work exceeds 300,000 yuan.

Beaded embroidery works, you can see that the cloth is covered with small beads.

Although today's machine products are very many and very fast, such craftsmanship is still more charming.

Foreign friends also experienced traditional techniques of beaded embroidery here. Although the national borders are different, our feelings about these craftsmanship are still the same.

[Day 2]

Kuahuqiao Ruins Museum

The Kuahuqiao Site Museum in Xianghu in Hangzhou is a special museum that comprehensively reflects the archaeological excavation and research results of the Kuahuqiao Site.

The exhibition area here consists of the "Eight Thousand Years Looking Back" themed display and the site protection hall.

As soon as you enter the museum, you can see a general bronze carving on the wall, mainly canoes, supplemented by other cultural relics unearthed here.

This is a good place to look back eight thousand years ago. In addition to stone tools and canoes from the new era, what remains here is also the legend of stem and branch medicinal herbs. It is said that they were invented by Yin Yi, an important minister in the early Chinese Shang Dynasty. This precious information is of great value for studying the origin of Chinese herbal medicine in my country, especially the origin of decoctions.

These models well reproduce the life of primitive people to us. It can be seen from these models that primitive people had mastered the skills of making tools 8,000 years ago.

The Cross-Lake Bridge consists of many of the most important parts, such as the world's earliest lacquer bow, the earliest herbal jar, the earliest canoes, the earliest slow-wheel pottery technology, the earliest jade articles, the earliest painted pottery, etc.

Therefore, in the entire exhibition hall, we can see many different places and learn a lot of knowledge that is not available in history textbooks.

In the eight thousand years of Xiaoshan, if you talk about the entire exhibition hall, the most exciting thing must be the canoes here.

This Kuahuqiao site is the historical origin of Xiaoshan. The Xiaoshan Kuahuqiao people 8000 years ago were the first batch of "trendsetters" who moved from the mountains to the coastal plains in the new era.

Therefore, the oldest canoe was unearthed here, which pushed the dawn of Zhejiang civilization forward for thousands of years, allowing people to make further progress in their study of ancient times.

At present, this exhibition hall not only has unearthed canoes, but also has clay sculptures restored from some previous excavations, which also allows us to understand the archaeological process.

This is the earliest canoe unearthed in the world. From the looks of it, we can still vaguely recognize the shape of the canoe, but due to the initial excavation, it is still somewhat damaged.

Because this is a cultural relic from 8,000 years ago, it needs to be placed in a transparent display cabinet to maintain a constant humidity and temperature, and must be tested from time to time to ensure the integrity of the cultural relic.

xianghu

Xiaoshan's Xianghu Scenic Area is away from Hangzhou East Railway Station. It takes about 40 minutes to drive without traffic jams. It is 30 kilometers away from Xiaoshan Airport. Overall, the transportation is very convenient. So now Xianghu has become a popular attraction for locals in Hangzhou. Isn't there a saying: "Hangzhou gave the West Lake to tourists and left Xianghu to itself?"

The best way to visit Xianghu is to take a cruise ship, board the boat at the dock near the Kuahuqiao Ruins Museum, and tour the lake for about 1 hour. The windows of the wooden boat can be opened and closed, so that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xianghu Lake without being blown by the wind. The feeling is still very good.

The boat also carefully prepared tea and a bilingual guide for each tourist, so we could hear professional explanations from the tour guide along the way to learn more about Xianghu.

Xianghu is now a 4A-level scenic spot in our country, one of China's top 100 tourist attractions and a leisure tourism destination in China. Traveling in Xianghu is very slow and gives people a relatively leisurely feeling, so it is very suitable for slow-living travel methods.

Xianghu Scenic Area was officially opened to the public in 2006 and currently has received more than 30 million tourists.

Zhejiang Province Museum of Modern Ceramic Art

Zhejiang Province Museum of Modern Ceramic Art was built in 2016 and is located on Meishan Island, Xianghu Tourist Resort, Xiaoshan Strict, Hangzhou City. The island is green with green mountains and water, lush vegetation, birds and flowers, sparkling on all sides, and kiln shadows and bridge shadows complement each other, creating a unique artistic environment.

The overall building is made of red bricks, which looks very simple and has a unique style.

The former site of the museum is a large-scale brick kiln factory built in the 1860s. With the progress of the times, Xianghu Brick Kiln Factory, like thousands of brick kiln factories in China, has finally completed its historical mission and faded out of our sight. The main building of the museum was converted from a brick kiln factory and incorporated contemporary design concepts. The building area is about 1400 square meters.

Walking into the museum, the autumn scene here was already very obvious. A gust of wind passed and the leaves scattered away. I thought this picture was so beautiful that I couldn't help but want to record it with my camera.

Because the museum's predecessor was a large-scale brick kiln factory, some of the original buildings are still preserved here, which also adds some quaint flavor to the museum.

Currently, the museum is displaying works by Arab ceramists who "understand China".

The works produced by this collision between the West and China are indeed quite unique.

The overall structure of the museum is also like cave caves. Showing ceramic works in such places is very suitable for the scene. It can be said to be a very good design and deserves praise.

The sun is very good at noon, and you can also see the escape places in the museum. Sometimes there are special personnel here to demonstrate how to make it. In the eyes of us laymen, pulling the embryo is a very difficult thing.

Leaving the museum, there is a very large handmade ceramics experience site next to it. There are regular courses here to allow people to better understand our country's ceramic culture.

Making a piece of pottery also requires a very long process from drawing the blank to firing, to coloring and firing, and finally to the finished product.

Many of these fired works are also academic works, and the paintings all look very good.

The teacher here showed us the art of embryo pulling on the spot. He was making a vase. This seemed simple, but the actual operation was really very difficult.

During high-speed rotation, constantly soak in water, shape and then close. Every step must not deviate, otherwise you will have to start again.

This skill also requires long-term training.

In the exhibition hall next door, there are also works by some artists contracted by the museum. They are works that blend modern and ancient culture, and they also look very good.

Finally, there are the museum's cultural and creative products, mainly porcelain works of some tea sets. The style is also very exquisite. If you like to drink tea, you can buy a set and take it home. You can feel very happy to watch it at home.

[Accommodation recommendations]

Haishaitiandi

Seabird World B & B can be said to be one of my favorite places in Xiaoshan. It is a sea of bamboo, a courtyard house, and a row of ancient ginkgo forests. It has been through ups and downs for 150 years. Now, the century-old house has been renovated and has a new look. Start welcoming everyone.

The B & B is very large, with a large garden with towering ancient trees and signs of yellowing in late autumn.

As an activity area, there are places for children to play and places where adults can sit and chat. Living in this mountain forest, the whole person is relaxed.

The lobby decoration is antique, and every bit is full of classical beauty.

There is also a book bar in the lobby, where you can read books and listen to light music when you have nothing to do.

Walking through such a corridor, you will arrive at the accommodation area.

The apartment is in the form of a courtyard house, and the building is also a traditional Zhejiang dwelling with Hui-style architecture.

The traces of these buildings reveal its long history and the vicissitudes it has experienced.

The living room is a very ancient decoration, with a seat and a large desk. You can read, write and paint here, just like the ancients, who lived leisurely.

The horizontal plaque in the middle reads the four big characters: "It's good to come back". People who come here seem to have found their way home and return home when they return.

The queen bed room is antique, and everything from bedding to lighting is very timely.

There is a very large bathtub in the courtyard outside the house, filled with water. Listening to the singing of birds among the bamboos and looking at the stars in the sky, the feeling of taking a bath is simply so beautiful.

Standing in the courtyard, you can see the scenery of the surrounding rooms. There are tall bamboo forests in front of you. When the wind blows, the bamboo forests rub against the bamboo leaves and make a salsa sound.

At the entrance of the B & B, I also saw such a rickshaw. This was the most common means of transportation for people a hundred years ago. Nowadays, it can only be seen in TV dramas or film and television studios. It's really nice to meet it here.

The red lanterns hanging high in the courtyard, the half-yellow ginkgo leaves floating, and the horse-head walls with black tiles and white walls are all the most beautiful artistic conception in Jiangnan.
