The only remaining seven-hole stone arch bridge on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is in Tangqi. It has been more than 500 years since its completion in 1498 in the Ming Dynasty. Tangqi is famous for this. Tangqi is like a pearl on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
The ancient town is small and can be visited in about an hour. There are two local specialty pastry shops in the ancient town, which can be seen as soon as you cross the bridge. Tangqi Ancient Town is located in Yuhang and is the starting point of the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. The canal runs through the ancient town, with antique old houses on both sides, and an ancient bridge connected on the river. Tangqi is very famous for its loquat and traditional cakes. When the loquat turns yellow in late May every year, it is always lively here for a while. Many Hangzhou people come here to eat loquat.
The ancient town is an open-plan neighborhood. Walking around the old streets is free, and only a few venues charge. The essence of the ancient town is the Guangji Bridge on the canal, the Qianlong Imperial Monument, the Guopu Well, the Canal Barn Museum, etc. They are all authentic monuments, and the museums are also built in quite style.
Shuibei Street and Shuinan Street on both sides of the canal are the main tourist areas of the ancient town. There are many scenic spots on Shuibei Street, including Tangqi Shuibei Grain Station, Christian Church and the famous Qianlong Imperial Monument Street.
Shuinan Street opposite Guangji Bridge and the surrounding neighborhoods are home to many snack bars. Some cafes and Hangbang restaurants are good for eating and shopping. The most famous local pastries are mung bean cakes, Lixia cakes, etc. Until now, many old Hangzhou people come to Tangqi to buy them. In the loquat season, fruit farmers selling loquat can be seen everywhere in the vegetable markets by the bridge and even on the roadside. The most expensive white sand loquat is about 12 yuan a catty.
Chaoshan Scenic Area
Chaoshan has been a plum viewing resort since ancient times, with developed transportation and is only a dozen kilometers away from the urban area.
The plum blossoms here are characterized by "ancient, broad and strange". The oldest ones are Tang plum blossoms and Song plum blossoms. Ordinary plum blossoms basically have five petals. There are also six petals here, and six-petal plum blossoms are more suitable for brewing plum blossoms. Tea is fragrant and refreshing.

There are two peaks in Jingshan: First, the ancient temple of Jingshan Xingsheng Wanshou Temple in the Tang Dynasty was rated as the first of the "Five Mountains and Ten Temples" in Jiangnan Buddhist monasteries in the Southern Song Dynasty, so Jingshan was named "the First Mountain in Jiangnan". The ancient Tang Dynasty temple on the mountain was built in 742 AD (the first year of Tianbao). It is said that monk Fachin came here to teach missionary work and was awarded the title of "National One Zen Master"; at his peak, there were many temples and pavilions, with a total of 3,000 monks, and he was known as the "No. 1 Zen Temple in Southeast China."
Famous tea, good spring, and boiled bamboo shoots are the three "treasures" of Jingshan. Jingshan Yunwu Tea is a national famous tea and enjoys a reputation both at home and abroad. In addition, Jingshan and Japan also have a long history of friendship. They are the ancestral home of the Rinji Sect in Japan. Japan's "tea ceremony" also originated from Jingshan's "tea banquet". Tea is also produced in Beishuangxi, Shandong Province, and its quality is of top quality. It is said that Lu Yu, the tea god of the Tang Dynasty, once learned about tea conditions and wrote tea classics here. Lu Yuquan is now left behind.

The Liangzhu Ancient City Site, about 5300 - 4300 years ago, is located in Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.
