In fact, to be honest, Tonglu is a good place for friends in the Yangtze River Delta to travel on a road. I suggest summer and autumn, but winter is actually not very good because some scenic spots may not be fun. Many water sports are only open in summer, but I like it very much if there are few tourists.

Exploring the secret of underground river and karst cave

This is the Chuiyuntongtian River, which is the location of the first underground river. It has unique natural landscapes such as Chuiyuntongtian Lake, underground underground river and underground grand canyon. It has formed a typical karst karst landform under the influence of nature. In the past, we used to explore the karst cave on foot, but this was the first time we had been on a boat trip, which made the trip more interesting.

You still have to be careful when flying aerial photography here, because it is a rope bridge, and because the wind is a little strong at the altitude, there is also an antenna not far away. I almost hit it a few times, but fortunately it was scary but dangerous.

There is also a very conspicuous attraction in the scenic area, glass rafting. Glass rafting is the latest project in the Chuiyun Tongtian River. It is currently the longest glass water slide in western Zhejiang. It has a total length of 1350 meters and a height difference between the end and end can reach 120 meters. The whole play process is very exciting but safe. Don't try it easily for those who are timid. However, it is not open in winter, so it is recommended to go in summer.

Not far from the entrance of the glass trestle, there is a photo spot: Angel Wings. It is a viewing wall made of glass. Colorful wings are graffiti on the wall. I remember where this wing is?

There are still some small scenery on the way from Chuiyun Lake to the glass overpass. If you don't specifically tell you about it, you may have ignored it. In fact, I prefer the feeling of walking in the scenic area, feeling the nature of the mountains and forests, walking on the artificial wooden plank road is very comfortable, and basking in the warm sun in winter and breathing fresh air is a comfort that cannot be experienced in the city.
When you are tired from walking, you can still have a seat to rest well. Although the scenic area is small, you can really play for a long time.

The Angel Promenade is a suitable place for beautiful women or couples to take photos. The plank road extending from it leads to the glass overpass.

Slow experience of drifting with the flow

I don't know what my friend thought. I bought a set ticket for rafting on Chuiyun Tongtian River and Langshi Jintan. Maybe he really wants to have a good time with me, haha.
Langshi Jintan is a very small tourist attraction 12 minutes 'drive from Chuiyun Tongtian River. It is much easier for friends to drive. I feel that there are only two of us in the scenic spot, so contracting out a scenic spot is still so cool. This scenic spot is actually a place suitable for company groups and family trips. There are some team entertainment projects such as barbecues and fishing in the scenic spot. There are also some water events to play in the summer.

In winter, it's probably just rafting. Langshi Jintan was originally known as Tongxi Rafting. However, I didn't expect that the several ancient buildings I saw from the entrance would make people like a little.

I saw that there were several dragon boat searches in the rafting place. It turned out that there were dragon boat tours here. I guess a group of tourists can come to a dragon boat race. That would be very interesting, but unfortunately, we can only ride this raft. Drifting.

Most of the entire river is slow and there are no rushing rivers. Occasionally, if one or two encounters it, waves will splash. It is recommended not to make the first row, as you will easily get wet. The whole journey lasts about half an hour, so it would be a good one to enjoy at the end of the journey.

Oh, by the way, if you drive yourself, one of the inconvenient things about visiting this attraction is that you will be far away from the entrance of the scenic spot after the rafting ends, unless there is someone who does not play rafting and drives a car and waits downstream. There is a parking lot. You can also take a bus directly back to Tonglu City from here.

Fenqiang Daiwa Shen 'ao Village

For Jiangnan water towns, my favorite must be those ancient villages with white walls and black tiles. I didn't expect that there would be several such villages in Tonglu. Dipu Village, Shen 'ao Village and Huanxi Village. It seems that the most widely spread is Dipu Village, right? Because there is Dipu Flower Field? But in comparison, my favorite one is Shen 'ao Village, and then Huanxi Village. Each village is free to visit and is relatively small. It will not take long to walk out of the village.

Shen 'ao Village is actually the largest ancient village in Tonglu. It is located in hilly areas and is high in the south and low in the north. The village welcomes Xuan Mountain in front and Shiyan in behind. The most famous one is probably this lake water at the head of the village. You can see such a leisurely and contented life by walking through the archway on the street. It reminds me of the moonmarsh in Hongcun, but it is wider than the moonmarsh and I can see the world.

Looking at Shen 'ao Village from the map, it is rectangular. You must explore this ancient village with your footsteps. There are various old streets in the village, and some things are very touching with the pebble pavement. Traveling through these old streets and alleys, I don't know what I will see at the next corner. There are few tourists, and it's very comfortable to meet local residents occasionally going out to bask in the sun or do laundry.

In fact, Shen 'ao Village is slightly commercialized. Although most of the old houses have closed doors, you can still occasionally see some specialty shops.

Shen 'ao Ancient Village is a blood village of the Shentu family. With its ancient culture, profound history and cultural heritage, unique geographical environment, and long-standing cultural relics and monuments, it has become a famous Jiangnan ancient village in Tonglu. There are more than 40 buildings in the village, which are ancient buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Broken walls and ruins Huanxi Village

Huanxi Village is surrounded by water on three sides and backed by mountains on one side, hence the village's name. It takes only ten minutes to walk from Shen 'ao Village to Huanxi Village. Huanxi Village is a colder village than Shen' ao Village. If you want to stay nearby for one night, the B & Bs in Shen 'ao Village are quite high-end and expensive, and the ones in Huanxi Village are very cheap but more down-to-earth.

Walking in Huanxi Village, different from Shen 'ao Village, apart from ancient buildings with white walls and black tiles, many of them are already dilapidated that no one cares about. I don't know why I love these more. Real ruins. This place is also sparsely populated than Shen 'ao Village, and even locals have hardly seen it, so there is a sense of privacy when visiting an uninhabited village.

The most lively and essential place in Huanxi Village should be around Ailian Hall. It is like a small park. A spring water is surrounded by ancient buildings, and residents gather here for their daily rest and chat. In addition to Ailian Hall, there are many ancient buildings such as Shangzhi Hall, Anlan Bridge, and Baoan Bridge. There is also a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree at the entrance of the village. It is known as the "husband and wife tree" and has become a major sight in the village.

Oh, by the way, if you are afraid of dogs, I suggest not to come to Huanxi Village. Most people here keep domestic dogs freely, not tied at all, and you can see them even if you walk a few steps. Especially at night, the barking of dogs one after another was a bit scary.

Tonglu itinerary suggestions:
In fact, friends from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai only need to drive here on weekends. They leave early on Saturday and stay overnight and return home on Sunday evening. Of course, if you want to visit more places in Tonglu, you can stay one more day.
