preface

There are not many things and the car is not big. Carrying your loved ones and spending a short vacation together is probably the most pleasant thing about the summer. The destination I drove to this time was Tonglu County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. I have been to Hangzhou many times and I know that the scenery around it is good, but this time it is my first time to come to Tonglu. It is still a driving tour, and I feel a little excited. It is already the end of the plum season. The day I went there happened to be light rain. When driving on the road, the clouds and mist spread out, but the sky does not seem gloomy. Instead, it feels like it is covered by thin clouds that pass through light, which is wonderful. The air is very humid. You can breathe the freshness and clarity by opening the car window, the freshness of grass juice, and the clarity of the river. As we drove, the green mountains moved closer and farther away from us, so that the clouds and mist floating around the mountains could be clearly seen. From a distance, there seem to be a solid body, but the green mountains are not exposed, but from a close distance, they seem to be invisible. They are mixed with the clouds in the sky and the fog rising from the river and are difficult to distinguish. There seems to be a small continent in the mountains and rivers, with lush green plants on it, and because of the mist and mist, it is difficult to distinguish it clearly. I suddenly feel like a fairyland. It can only be described in this way. This is probably the scenery I, a southerner, has seen that can perfectly interpret the graceful beauty of the book.

When the dam first entered the scenic area, we first walked through the dam in the upper reaches of the river. This is the first time I saw a water conservancy project in this geographical book. On one side, there is a full water storage reservoir, and on the other side, there is a downstream river separated by a dam body. Because it has been the flood season recently, the spillway in the middle continues to drain water downstream. After passing through the high dam body, it can emit huge sound like a waterfall. Walking above, you can't help but sigh at the greatness of human resources.

Witness the magical road of Huizhou merchants 'history and culture

The first thing to experience is to walk through the Huishang Ancient Road. Behind the woods, stone steps appear. A stone stepping road twists and turns in the mountains and forests, gradually rising higher. Ancient trees cover the sky and stretch deep into the mountains. The ancient road was built in the Tang Dynasty, and in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was perfected with the prosperity of Huizhou merchants. The Huizhou Merchants Ancient Road was an important commercial road for Huizhou merchants to enter Zhejiang for business in ancient times. It was the third famous ancient road in China after the "Silk Road" and the "Tea Horse Ancient Road". It was a magical road that witnessed the history and culture of Huizhou merchants. It starts from Linxi at the junction of Jixi and She County in the west, turns to land in Fuling Township, Jixi, then passes through Jiangnan First Pass, Xueyuetang and other places, and finally reaches Zechuan Village, Maxiao Township, Lin 'an City, Zhejiang Province, with a total length of more than 100 kilometers. Whether Huizhou tea merchants go north or south, they have to pass through this ancient road that can only be opened on foot, and travel through thousands of mountains and rivers. Banditry, plagues, and natural disasters along the way are all threats. The road to selling tea is extremely dangerous. Less than one in ten successful people, and most people die in other places. The length of this ancient road in the scenic area is less than eleven years. It has been repaired by ancient methods. It is indeed much flatter and safer. The guardrails on both sides are very strong. Even if you walk to a steep place, you will not feel dangerous. However, you can still walk from the stone steps under your feet. The stone steps, the cliff cliffs on your side, and the line of sky in the extremely narrow place, I feel the difficulty and hardship of Huizhou merchants picking tea to travel out of the mountain, and understand the spirit passed down from generation to generation.

Walking up the steps, the stone steps seemed to have been washed in the drizzle. They were bright and oily without a trace of dust, as if they had not been touched by a century of time. The trees and mixed green grass on the stone steps along the way were also washed brightly by the rain. There were also "hanging spring waterfalls" on the stone walls and rocks from time to time, which was full of wild fun. The forest blocked the sky and the sun, and the stones beside the road were covered with moss. Falling leaves have accumulated a thick layer next to the ancient road, which is soaked by rain, and have a soft and waxy texture when you step on it. The rain stopped unknowingly, but I still felt that it was still raining. It was the fog between the mountains and forests, the gurgling sound of streams, and the spring water splashed out of waterfalls. It gave me the illusion. Walking slowly, looking here and there, touching and caressing, it is easy to lose the burden of miscellaneous matters and forget the chaos of names. Only the green eyes you see, the fresh air you breathe, and the coolness you feel all over your body.

The mountain road is simple and solid, with year-mark marks on the stone steps; the trees are tall and verdant, swaying in the wind; and the fog that dissipated and then gathered in an instant lies quietly in the forest. They don't speak. The sound of birds gathering and flying away, and the low sound of summer insects intertwined along the way. They are the elves here. I'm just a traveler. The vicissitudes of life are always like this. For a moment, you feel trance and appreciate some heavy meaning. For a moment, you can tell you that it is an illusion and make you indulge in the ease and happiness of the worldly world. Walking along the ancient emblem road winding deep in the mountains, I feel calm and relaxed as thick clouds disperse.

Cloud Piaopiao Glass Trestle

Walking on the Huishang Ancient Road, you can see the glass trestle with clouds floating in the clouds, but maybe because you stand high, it doesn't look amazing. When you really stand on the glass trestle, you feel a little thrilling. The glass trestle is 100 meters high, like a white line across the middle of the canyon. Below it is the rushing rapids of river water and green trees. Standing on it and looking around, you can only feel your own insignificance and the vastness of the mountains and rivers.

The two ends of the trestle are not supported against the mountain, and the glass is very clean and transparent. Looking down, there is really nothing and the feeling of standing high in the sky. The canyon is deep and the bottom is invisible. Coupled with the mountain wind whistling past, the feeling of danger is immediately aroused. But as long as you don't look at your feet and look at the open areas in the surrounding mountains, you feel like you want to fly away on the hunting wind. With the help of some shooting skills, you can easily take photos comparable to blockbusters here. It is full of accomplishment and is very suitable for checking in and playing.

Water-flowing glass slide

The slippery glass slide rafting is attached to the periphery of the glass plank road. The entire slide is built along the valley, with a drop of more than 200 meters. It was the first time I saw someone using glass to build a rafting slide, but it sounded very thrilling and interesting.

Different from the wild fun of irregular collisions of rocks and rocks drifting in the canyon, the glass slide is a route built from high places along the mountain edge, winding around to the slow-flowing river. Before we even took the rafting raft, we heard the cries and laughter of the young ladies drifting on the glass slide from the height of the glass trestle.

Looking from above, the kayak rides the current and flows through the long transparent glass. Through the glass, the trees and rocks below can be clearly seen, which still looks very exciting. I feel more exciting when I sit on it. Unlike the glass plank road where you can walk slowly to overcome the fear of high-altitude glass looking down, glass slide rafting gives you no time to overcome your fear, face your fear directly, and experience speed and passion.
When getting on a kayak, staff members will issue free raincoats and rain pants to prevent clothes from getting wet by splashing water during the rafting process. The scenic area is still very considerate. When I first sat down, I saw that the slope was not very steep, and I thought that those screams were not faking, so I wouldn't scream out (the consequence of setting up a flag is a fragrant warning). As a result, I was confused by the smoothness of the initial slide. As the rafting progressed, the slope of the slide became larger and larger, and the speed continued to increase (the wind almost blew my raincoat away). The kayak would also collide with the glass wall at the turn, constantly circling and colliding like a roller coaster. Moreover, I could see the rocks below and hear the sound of the rushing river next to me. The thrilling feeling continued to amplify, and I couldn't help but scream. Rafting makes it look like a roller coaster. It's amazing.

Step by step shocking high-altitude cable bridge

Then there is the shocking high-altitude cable bridge step by step. The cable bridge has a total length of 108 meters and a depth of 108 meters from the valley bottom. It is the first hollow cable suspension bridge in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.

Wearing safety equipment, my heart was full of security, but the first step I took was shattered. The rope bridge was stressed when it was stepped on and began to sway. Even if the safety equipment prevents me from falling off even if I miss it, I still feel like kissing nature if I miss it.
This is not like the glass plank road, which looks thrilling but at least feels real when stepping on it. The cable bridge is completely suspended except for the pedals, and the wind passes between your legs when walking. The flexibility of the cable bridge makes the journey full of wandering, especially when walking with others.
This person took one step, but before he stopped wandering, he took another step. During the entire cable bridge experience, I carefully walked the entire journey step by step in the thrilling psychology of constantly wandering. No wonder it was named "Step by Step Shocking".
To be honest, thrilling fear is an addictive psychology. When you take the first kick, you are afraid of gaining the upper hand, but while thinking that it is safe to be fine, you encourage yourself to take the second step, and you slowly develop a sense of accomplishment in defeating it. So after walking more than ten steps, you have time to look up and look at the surrounding scenery.
The mountain scenery is basically surrounded by green plants, so when parking on the suspension bridge, it feels like you are shuttling through the mountains and forests. I even sat down on the suspension bridge, like I did on a swing when I was a child. Swing your legs in the air and look at the green around you to wash the filth of your eyes. The wind is very cool, as if it can penetrate the chest.

Shanwan Bay Rafting Adventure

Of course, the focus of the tour is the Shanwan River rafting adventure. This is a more exciting and longer rafting than a roller coaster-like glass slide rafting. Shanwan Bay's drifting river has a total length of 3.5 kilometers and a vertical drop of 208 meters. It is the rapids adventure scenic spot with the largest vertical drop in Tonglu, and is rare even in the entire East China region. The entire rafting time is about 1 hour.

Put on quick-drying clothes and pants, put on a life jacket, put on a helmet, and get on a rubber dinghy to start our rafting journey. The water is relatively rapid, and along the stream, the rubber dinghies sway in the mountains. The drifting river is made of in-situ materials and is built of rocks from the next river. It looks extremely smooth when it is hit by the rushing current. Surrounded by green mountains, you can see mixed green trees and branches hanging down from the top of your head. Flowing water hits the stone wall from top to bottom, creating white waves. We rode the waves all the way to drift. The excitement brought by this irregular river rafting cannot be compared to that of a glass slide. It continues to be caused by the collision of the wall, the steep terrain, and the widening of the river. The rubber dinghy is in a state where everything is not controlled except the water flow. My heart also loses control. I would involuntarily scream in surprise because my side of the dinghy was leaning forward, and then burst out laughing because the water was gentle and dangerous. No matter who it is, with a loved one, with family, with friends, or with strangers who accompany them on the journey, the journey will be accompanied by laughter. Every time they pass through a rapids or dangerous shoal, the thrilling subsides, they will almost always sit with them. The people on the other end of the rubber dinghy look at each other and smile, and even strangers can become friends along the way. This is simply the best project to improve your relationship.

The most exciting time is crossing the canyon. The river water becomes faster and more rapid because the terrain becomes steeper. The rubber dinghy also follows the current and moves forward at a speed. While people are bumping on the boat, they have to be baptized by the current. The journey was basically filled with ruthless waves patting on his face, until his face was covered with cool river water. No one gets off the rubber dinghy dry. Basically, everyone just twirls a handful of clothes and puts a pool of water, as if they had gone into the water for a swim, because the rubber dinghy is also full of water, haha, but this is also the fun of rafting. It's good to dry the clothes naturally and there won't be any strange smell, because the water quality of the water resources here is very good. You can see that the water is very clear on the way to rafting. If you reach out and lift it, it will be like refreshing. If you splash it on your body, it will also be cool. In a summer day of more than 30 degrees, a rafting trip to Shanwan is like pouring you a bottle of iced coke. It's great! Then I want to come again! Experience another big gap, big speed, and big excitement!
The rapid flow of water and changes in terrain make the entire rafting process accompanied by screams and laughter. What ensures the speed of the rafting water is the upstream reservoir we saw when we first entered the scenic spot. It is not only a water conservancy project, but also controls the stability of the water flow during rafting, making every tourist's rafting experience ultimate and perfect. The stream is basically free of impurities and is extremely clear, with lush green everywhere, just like in a painting.
It's great to have a water fight in the pool at the end of the drift. Whether you know or don't know you, a handful of water head-on is a gentle greeting to you. Splashing water on each other and fighting with each other in the water, it's called a hearty experience. Can adults also have the joy of children? Of course. You will also be twice as happy because you are old-the only thing you need to pay attention to is to make electronic and digital products waterproof, and prepare waterproof bags. Also, if you are an old rafting player, remember to prepare weapons for water fights. The joy of splashing water and spraying water will be tons!

After finishing rafting in Shanwan, the feeling is that I still have not finished. Although I am a little tired, the joy in my heart is great happiness. I want to run and jump in the mountains and swim in the water for a while. I lingered and forgot that it was late, and that my stomach was empty. It was time to eat something.

Yanchun Farmhouse

When we came here, we naturally had to eat local food, so we went to the nearby Yanchun Farmhouse and experienced the auditorium culture here. Flowers, red lanterns, and wood decorations allow us to experience a rustic but simple banquet experience outside.

When you serve the table, the meat and vegetables are full, with thick slices of beef and mutton; the Tonglu Creek Fish is a small fish raised in the clear stream here. It is very tender and comes directly to a pot; the duck meat pot and braised chicken are both very delicious and the soup is thick.
Many of the vegetables on the table are from the store's own vegetable garden. They are not sprinkled with pesticides and are green, organic and non-polluting. The stir-fried beans and red peppers had the flavor of home cooking, so I ate half of the bowl of rice; the steamed pumpkin was served with a little chopped green onion and chopped peanuts, but the taste was soft and sweet, and it was delicious. I've been overwhelmed here. The rice still tastes as good as when I was a child. The rice here uses easy-to-get ingredients and is very farmhouse simple, but it gives me a more expensive feeling than a high-end western restaurant. This peace of mind is rare. The food here is sufficient, tastes good, and the price is reasonable. It is a good meal choice when visiting.

Qinran Xiaozhu

At night, stay at Qinran Xiaozhu, a B and B that was booked in advance. The B & B is located in a small town on a tributary, next to the road. The transportation is very convenient and it is easy to drive. The small B & B courtyard is next to the road, and the fence outside is wrapped with vines and flowers, so there is no need for any extra decoration. Red flowers and green leaves are the best decoration. There are still many flowers in the courtyard. There is no careful cultivation in pots after pots. There are only flowers in a column with bamboo tubes dug up and placed horizontally. Red, yellow, pink and white, are squeezed one by one. The petals are covered with wet rainwater, but it shows us the vitality and vitality of this place.

The room in the B & B is very clean. The ceiling is made of wood, the ceiling light is a small star, and the lights are all warm yellow, so it looks very warm. There is a small pink and blue house at the bedside, which is very cute. The window faces the mountains and forests. When you open the window, you will see greenery everywhere. If you don't close the window, it feels like birds will park next to the window.
Facing the river, there is a large bamboo forest opposite it. It is green and makes me feel very comfortable looking at it. Standing on the second floor of the B & B, you can clearly see that the river flows around the nearby green mountains and reaches out to the hazy distant mountains. The milky white mist trapped in the mountains is shrouded in dense air, like a gauze scarf covering the mountains. People's roofs stand scattered and tall as far as the eye can see, and there are no other sounds in my ears. The whole world of what I saw and heard gave me a sense of peace but vitality.
Away from the busy skyscrapers with traffic and bright lights, and the bustling city without night, here, greenery, streams, mist, insects and birds form a peaceful and wild world. Almost all the space you see is occupied by green. Because here, as long as there is a bit of soil, there is no need to plant it deliberately. Sunshine and rain will urge the seeds coming with the wind to grow into a tree, a piece of grass, or a flower. It is simply the ideal place where vitality and poetry lie.
The meals at the B & B are simple, but they are better than health and peace of mind. It's like going home to your mother's cooking. Simple but sweet and delicious sweet potato porridge; a large plate of unstackable green balls was made by the aunt of the B & B with juice from wormwood. It has a sweet and astringent fragrance. I didn't expect that the green balls that she had been longing for some time ago were here. I caught up, as if waiting for me to come; there is also the waxy corn grown at home. The aunt can smell the sweet taste when it comes up. The plump corn grains are tender enough to feel the chewiness in her mouth; There are also several seasonal vegetables stir-fried by my aunt, which are also freshly picked in the vegetable garden, fresh and healthy. Because I marveled at how sweet corn was while eating, the B & B aunt stuffed us a bag of fresh corn when we left and asked us to go back and cook it. What a kind person. I will definitely go again when I have time.

end

This trip was not long, and the play experience was over in almost one day. The rest of the time was almost spent walking slowly with my lover. Walking and stopping on the ancient road, looking and patting, measuring the distance between the street lights with my footsteps on the road opposite the river outside the B & B, walking to find a place to eat when I was a little hungry, sitting on a stone bench and looking at the sky, the clouds and the mountains... It seemed like I had nothing to do except eat, sleep, and do nothing, but I didn't feel empty. Here you can be a tree, a grass, a flower, or a bird flying in the sky, a fish in the river, an insect in the grass. You can be anything you want. The wind swept through my chest and into the distance, as did my thoughts. Tonglu is suitable for playing, for finding inspiration, and for aging. So, take a trip like this and give yourself a time to vacate and be in a daze. I have been busy for "Cherry Freedom" for too long, and now I need "Green Freedom"!
