1: Two days and one night, I will take you to play a different Nanxun
Dreaming back to Nanxun, lingering in Jiangnan.
At the autumn equinox, I had a romantic encounter with Nanxun.
When it comes to Nanxun, everyone thinks of the ancient town of Nanxun. Little did they know that this famous silk town in Jiangnan, with abundant cultural resources and a combination of Chinese and Western architecture, harbors countless surprises.
Here, there is a unique Hubi Culture Museum, a casual and romantic sea of Shicong flowers, a refreshing light show, and a fishing village full of fireworks atmosphere... Searching for the true taste of life in intangible cultural heritage culture.
II: Nanxun Not only are there ancient towns, but there are also these
1. Come to the Hubi Culture Museum and regain the warmth of the pen tip
One pen, one inheritance. Since ancient times, China has paid attention to "words like people". In that era when there was no Internet, letters became the only way to record life and convey feelings, and having good words became a big social item. However, with the gradual development of the times, traditional letters have gradually been replaced by text messages, and more and more people are unwilling to pick up their pens. Through this trip to Nanxun, we came to the Hubi Culture Museum, where we regained the warmth of the pen tip amidst the ink, paper, and inkstone.
The Hubi Culture Museum is located in Shanlian Hubi Town, Nanxun. It is known as the "City of Hubi" and the "Holy Land of Silkworm Flowers". On the way to the Hubi Culture Museum, we stopped and walked all the way, and also visited the Hubi Street. Although it was just a fleeting view, we had a clear view of the cultural atmosphere here. For us, who were surrounded by dust and dust, it was undoubtedly the most precious purification.
Upon arriving at the Hubi Culture Museum, what catches your eye is a giant square surrounded by lush greenery, making you feel refreshed and refreshed. This is a gray white building with a pointed roof in the middle and symmetrical flat buildings on both sides, giving it a graceful and elegant appearance. A black plaque with golden characters stands out, giving rise to a sense of historical significance.
Entering the Hubi Culture Museum, we were greeted by a giant upside down Hubi, which was eye-catching. The large characters behind the Hubi were particularly eye-catching, "National Treasure - Chinese Hubi." Under the reflection of the lights, the cultural atmosphere rushed towards us, making me involuntarily respect them.
The design of the museum is mainly based on a brownish red color, with transparent glass grids displaying delicate and small lake pens. From the pen holder to the pen head, the craftsmanship of "sharp, round, neat, and healthy" and the quality standards of "precision, purity, and beauty" are fully interpreted, making people cannot help but marvel at the power of craftsmanship. Nowadays, the "lake pen making technique" has been included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists, becoming a unique feature of Shanlian.
In addition to displaying countless exquisite lake pens, there are also celebrity sculptures in the museum that take you to appreciate the charm of Nanxun. What surprises me even more is the lake pen family here, which truly reproduces the process of making lake pens by the lake pen people, lifelike and full of flavor.
In order to truly experience the charm of the lake pen, we came to Zhenlu Pen House to experience the craft of making lake pens. Here, we learned that a seemingly ordinary lake pen had to go through more than 120 processes to be made, which is truly amazing. Due to time constraints, we can only experience the seventh step of pen selection in the eight major processes. Everyone held a pen selection knife and remained engrossed throughout the entire process, enjoying it tirelessly.
With one pen, I write about the ages and inherit the culture of Shanlian. Today, Hubi is not only the exclusive memory of Shanlian people, but also the cultural complex of the people of the whole country. This trip to the Hubi Culture Museum not only allowed me to appreciate the spirit of craftsmanship, but also felt the power of inheritance.
2. Come to Yaoli Village and experience the magnificent transformation of the pigsty
It is said that mountains of gold and silver are better than green mountains and clear waters. In this era of environmental protection, clear mountains and clear waters have become the most precious gift left by nature to humanity. As a member of Shanlian Town, Yaoli Village is a typical water town in Jiangnan. The flowing water in the village is gurgling, surrounded by green mountains, as if one has come to the paradise described by Tao Yuanming.
It's hard to imagine that such a picturesque place used to be a dirty and messy pig farm. In order to become rich, the whole village vigorously developed the pig farming industry, with every household being a pig farmer. The villagers had abundant pockets, but the environment was severely damaged. The whole village was surrounded by the smell of pig manure, becoming a polluted place. Reform and construction were urgent.
After the construction of a beautiful countryside, Yaoli Village has become completely new. The original pig shed has been transformed into a book bar, the large house for raising pigs has been transformed into a tea bar and a small restaurant. The once polluted pond has been purified and become vibrant. Walking slowly along the pond, the air is mixed with the fragrance of soil, and the atmosphere of nature is overwhelming. The infinite scenery of Yaoli Village is fully visible.
Coming to Yaoli Village, it is essential to experience the pottery making process at the Kiln Culture Museum. Watching the children happily playing with mud, I couldn't help but adjust myself. Looking at these strange achievements, it is truly amusing. If you're tired of playing with mud, you can also come to the Silkworm Coffee Bar here and savor the unique agricultural products, which are also unique.
3. Strolling through the Shicong Flower Sea Scenic Area, encountering a long lost romance
It is said that autumn is a romantic season, and even a sneeze is a taste of "love autumn". But for a young girl, perhaps the only shortcoming is that it is probably the season of withering. However, this trip to Nanxun made me feel the romance of spring in the autumn equinox season, where everything is colorful and colorful.
The Shicong Flower Sea Scenic Area is located in Shicong Village, Shicong Town, Nanxun District. As a newcomer, I was amazed by the vast flower sea. With a total area of 300 acres of flower fields, I couldn't help but accelerate my pace. For a moment, I was stirred up with a strong "girlish heart". It is hard to imagine that in such a season, you can still see such a beautiful and dripping flower sea. If "a red apricot tree comes out of the wall" brings you surprises, but when I see this scattered flower sea, I am more surprised and amazed.
At this moment, it is the season when Gesang flowers are in full bloom. Walking along the path, Gesang flowers bloom with smiling faces, swaying wildly with the gentle breeze as if greeting us, appearing incredibly cute. In the midst of the flowers, a pink windmill stands alone from the rest of the world, with a mix of pink and white, appearing incredibly romantic, satisfying your infinite imagination for a young girl. Even a big boy like me couldn't help but be attracted.
Beside the windmill, several black and white cows were particularly eye-catching. Although they were sculptures, they had no sense of discord, making people unable to resist taking a group photo.
In the field stands a huge red sculpture, a sign composed of the English word "love", seemingly competing with the flowers everywhere. I am the one who stands out among the crowd.
To my surprise, there is also a restaurant made up of green trains here. The brown tables and chairs complement the green potted plants, creating a fresh and artistic atmosphere. Find a place by the window, order a cup of strong tea, and feel the outside world through the window, bringing endless romance to your heart.
The small houses in the distance are faintly visible, with white walls and black tiles arranged tightly. Against the backdrop of the blue sky, they appear very small, but they still exude a rural atmosphere, blending with the vast sea of flowers, showcasing freedom and contentment without reservation.
4. Visit the Quanbu Scenic Area and enjoy the feast of the whole sheep
"The green hooves of a thousand mile warbler reflect the red, and the wine flags of water villages and mountains breeze." This is the scenery of Jiangnan described by the poet Du Mu. However, during this trip to Nanxun, I accidentally encountered the comfortable Jiangnan in the poem.
After experiencing the romance of the Shicong Flower Sea, we moved to the Tsuen Bu Scenic Area, also known as Tsuen Bu Village. When we first heard its name, we were immediately impressed. This somewhat strange name immediately aroused my interest. After being introduced by the elderly in the village, we learned that the original name of Tsuen Bu Village was Qianbu Village, named after the Qianbu Courtyard built in the 12th year of the Tang Xiantong reign. It is said that this village is called the most beautiful by the locals. What is the actual situation? Let's take a closer look together.
The water area of Quanbu Village is very wide, so the air here is particularly fresh. The entire village is mainly composed of the Bao'en Temple and Bao'en culture, wandering among them. Looking at countless words of "Bao'en", there is a sense of giving back to others.
We first visited Bao'en Temple, and a delicate plaque came into view. The plaque was surrounded by exquisite totems, instantly enhancing the overall style of the temple. It is said that this was once a refuge for Zhu Yuanzhang. In order to repay his kindness, Zhu Yuanzhang rebuilt the temple on a large scale and named it Bao'en Temple. The temple is equipped with the Hall of the God of Wealth, the the Shakya ManiHall and other halls. The main tone of the hall is vermilion. The walls are engraved with blue patterns. The golden plaque in the middle is very eye-catching, which means that the guests are dominating the others.
Strolling through Bao'en Temple, it was as if seeing the scene of Zhu Yuanzhang taking refuge here, adding a touch of mystery to the entire temple.
The most indispensable thing in Quanbu Village is the willow tree. Whether by the lake or by the wooden plank bridge, one can always see the figure of the willow tree. Walking slowly along the wooden plank bridge, one can feel the sparkling water waves, creating a magnificent beauty.
The boat boxing performance here has become a beautiful scenic spot in the village, with performers showcasing their skills on high sailboats and various movements flowing smoothly. However, as an observer, while amazed, one cannot help but feel frightened.
Roaming through Tsuen Bu Village, we made an appointment at dusk and accidentally arrived at our meal point. The enthusiastic villagers of Tsuen Bu prepared a sumptuous feast for us, with a plethora of colorful, fragrant and delicious lamb dishes. We drank yellow wine, ate lamb, and enjoyed the scenery of the countryside while enjoying our feast. It was truly satisfying.
5. Night tour of Nanxun Ancient Town, dreaming of lingering in Jiangnan
From ancient times to the present, literati and scholars have always had a special fondness for the ancient town of Jiangnan, which seems to have a special charm that drives every child's heart. I don't know when the ancient town of Nanxun has become a dream destination for wanderers. It seems to satisfy all the fantasies about the water town of Jiangnan. This trip to Nanxun naturally included visiting the ancient town. However, this time, we chose a night tour, searching for a different Nanxun in the peaceful night.
Compared to the Nanxun Ancient Town during the day, it seems more lively and lively in the night. If Nanxun Ancient Town during the day is a half hidden deep boudoir woman, then at night, she seems to start releasing her nature and displaying a unique charm. However, all of this stems from the launch of the "Hundred Houses of Nanxun" lighting show project.
Riding on an elegant canopied boat, as the waves slowly move forward, thousands of lights are lit up, and colorful lights sprinkle onto the water surface. Amidst the smoke, it is like a fairyland on earth, making people linger and forget to leave. It's hard to imagine that on such a peaceful and quaint night, one can still feel the excitement brought by technology, which is truly refreshing.
The big red lantern at the bow of the ship exudes a strong sense of time, with the four characters "Nanxun Ancient Town" engraved on it. The elegant font and exquisite Chinese knot complement each other, constantly conveying the power of Chinese culture to us. The ancient stone bridge, against the backdrop of the lights, appears extremely beautiful, like a full moon hanging high, guiding passersby in the direction. In the silk industry guilds on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, over 50 year old artists are improvising and playing Pingtan. They are exquisitely dressed, holding musical instruments, and appear incredibly energetic. With their fingertips, they try to break this tranquility and add a touch of silk and bamboo beauty to the previously quiet ancient town.
Listening to Pingtan, rocking the small boat, feeling the integration of moonlight and lighting, slowly moving forward in the gentle breeze, infinite poetry surging in my heart. If it weren't for the flickering light show constantly pulling people's thoughts, I might have already dreamed back to Jiangnan.
6. Come to Xitang Scenic Area and experience the joy of picking chrysanthemums in the eastern fence
In the past, cars and horses were very slow, and a lifetime was only enough to love one person. Accustomed to the rapidly changing fast-paced life, slowness has become the initial aspiration in everyone's heart. Coming to Nanxun, there is such an ancient village that one must not miss.
With the first ray of sunshine in the morning, we arrived at the Xitang Scenic Area. This is an ancient village located in Nanxun Town, only separated by a bridge from Wuzhen. Unlike Wuzhen, which has a strong commercial atmosphere, Xitang Village still retains the unique tranquility and simplicity of the countryside.
Surprisingly, there is also a sea of flowers in the Xitang Scenic Area. However, the flower sea here is different from Shicong, it appears more casual and romantic. While bringing beautiful visual enjoyment, it is more about experiencing the power of life. The purple flower may seem weak and fragile, but it can always find its own place in the cracks.
People here make friends with chrysanthemums, and in every corner of their lives, they can always find the shadow of chrysanthemums. What surprised me the most was the chrysanthemum rice here. In front of the stone stove, a simple peasant woman was cooking with firewood. A pot of chrysanthemum rice was cooked over low heat for a long time, with a refreshing fragrance that made people salivate. At first, I was a bit resistant, but in the end, I was still a bit unsatisfied. After the chrysanthemum meal, brew a cup of chrysanthemum tea and watch the chrysanthemums gradually spread in the cup, continuing the slow life to the end.
7. Visit Digang Fishing Village and experience a different kind of human fireworks
It is said that human fireworks are the most healing. After being used to the hustle and bustle of the city, we occasionally come to rural areas to search for the places with the highest concentration of ordinary people, feel their city life, and only then can we understand the true meaning of life. On this trip to Nanxun, I met the long admired Digang Fishing Village, where I felt a different kind of human fireworks.
Digang Fishing Village is located in Digang Village, Hefu Town, Nanxun District, and is known as the land of fish and rice. The water network of Digang Village is crisscrossing, adjacent to the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal, which has laid a unique advantage for the village's fishery development. It is said that there is heaven above and Suzhou and Hangzhou below, but little did they know that there is also Digang in the middle of Suzhou and Hangzhou. The historical and cultural atmosphere here is strong, with thousands of years of experience in freshwater fish farming, such as raising, observing, and eating fish. Walking in Digang Village, the shadow of fish can be seen everywhere.
The current Digang Fishing Village has become a business card of Digang Village, and every wanderer who comes to Nanxun cannot help but come and walk here. The fishing village integrates diverse elements such as sightseeing, fishing, vacation, entertainment, and demonstration education. Whether it's pots and pans, or the corners and eaves, it exudes a strong fishing culture atmosphere.
The historical and cultural museum here is refreshing, as it realistically reproduces the fishing scenes of the people of Dikang in the past. There are also countless fishing devices that bring people back to the era of sunrise and sunset, bringing a sense of historical depth to their faces. In the ten mile water market, black and white photo walls vividly depict the old city life, telling the exclusive memories of the people of Dikang.
The cultural center also houses a special figure, which is the intangible cultural heritage of Chen family cuisine history. Photo walls and honor certificates showcase the unique charm of Chen family cuisine to the world. It is said that Chen Family Cuisine is a private dish of Chen Guofu, a member of the Kuomintang. Many people come from afar to taste the delicious food on their tongues. Taking this opportunity, we also feast our mouths on it.
The Fish ball soup here is extremely delicious, and there are also some special snacks that can't be named. It seems to be ugly, but it still leaves you feeling more than you want. It satisfies all your fantasies about taste buds.
After lunch, we also had a detailed experience of making sericulture paper technology. As early as we were on the way, we saw green mulberry trees lined the way. Little did we know that the history of sericulture paper in Digang Fishing Village has a long history. Following the footsteps of the old master, we experienced the joy of making sericulture paper. Due to time constraints, we did not have a complete experience from beginning to end, but we were attracted by the exquisite silk handicrafts here, which made people unable to stop and stop.
Only love and food cannot be let down. When you come to Digang Fishing Village, not only can you experience the new taste buds, but you can also enjoy an unprecedented cultural feast. While being nurtured, you can also experience a different atmosphere of fireworks.
8. Come to Digang Scenic Area and explore the story of time
Happy times are always exceptionally short. In the blink of an eye, the two-day journey to Nanxun is coming to an end. Seizing the end of the journey, we arrive at the final stop - the Digang Scenic Area. This is a small town with a thousand years of history, where every brick and tile carries a sense of historical significance, telling visitors about the aging time of Digang.
Upon arriving at the Digang Scenic Area, we were greeted by an ancient and exquisite gatehouse, with a large red lantern hanging high. Against the backdrop of the blue sky, it appeared incredibly festive, as if celebrating the 70th anniversary of our motherland in advance. Upon arriving here, the must visit destination is Nanshao Scenic Area, a complex of buildings consisting of scenic spots such as Yunyitang and Jichuan Shushu. In the tenth year of the Jiaqing reign, Emperor Jiaqing bestowed upon the country the title of fief, which was deeply loved by literati and literati.
Among them, Yunyi Hall was built by Zhu Nanping, a native of Digang. It is mainly divided into two parts: Wenchang Pavilion and Chunyang Tower. Stepping towards Wenchang Pavilion, a red plaque stands out in stark contrast to the old wooden carvings, bringing a visual collision. The scenery around the attic is pleasant. Cangsong and Laomei can be seen everywhere, and a White Marble statue can also be seen vaguely, which is independent of the bamboo forest. It means that the mud can grow without being stained.
Wandering in the garden, one can see an ancient pointed pavilion surrounded by lotus leaves, showcasing the power of life under the sunlight. Outside the Chunyang Tower, there is a constant stream of incense, closely guarding generations of people from Digang. Looking from the railing, one can still see the faint and beautiful Tiao Yun in the distance, quiet and beautiful.
The Zhang family is a prominent family here, so they attach great importance to education. The Jichuan Shushu here was built by the Zhang family, and many students came to study under their name in the early years. Although there are only cold tables and chairs left, the scene of the sound of books back then can still be recalled, leaving people with countless emotions.
In addition to the picturesque southern sweet potato scenic spot, there is also a dilapidated one yuan tea house with old style boiling water bottles surrounded by hot air, red and green, neatly arranged, waiting for tea guests to visit. It is said that this tea house has a history of 196 years and has witnessed generations of people from Digang. There are many old objects in the tea house, which are the owner's treasures. Come here to drink tea, you only need to spend one yuan to drink refreshing tea. Nowadays, conscientious merchants? Is there still any profit to be made?
Of course not, the old man is already the fourth generation descendant of the teahouse. He wakes up at 3am every day to boil water, only to provide a steaming cup of morning tea for the villagers who come and go, while also taking care of the leisure time of a group of old men. Due to a long period of living expenses, the old man's hair cutting skills had to be forced to open for business. Therefore, he opened a simple hair salon on the other side of the teahouse, which was called a hair salon. In fact, it was only a chair, a razor, and a few combs, which barely maintained the survival of the teahouse.
There are countless plaques and certificates of honor hanging inside the teahouse, all of which belong to the old gentleman and his predecessors. Nowadays, the teahouse is dilapidated, but it is still the favorite place of the elderly. They talk about daily life here, and accidentally, another spring and autumn have passed.
Time has taken away the youth of the people of Dikang, but it cannot erase their exclusive memories. This millennium old town has been enduring the erosion of history.
3: Go to Nanxun and capture the temperature at home
If the heart has no place to rest, wherever it goes, it feels like wandering. For a dusty traveler, the most important thing is to feel at home in a foreign land, and this trip to Nanxun, the Boyang Kaiyuan Mingting Hotel, has given my family warmth.
The Boyang Kaiyuan Mingting Hotel is located on Xiaolianzhuang Road in Nanxun Town. After dinner, we hurriedly arrived here. At that time, the sky was not dark, and the interior of the Kaiyuan Mingting Hotel in Boyang was still full of vitality. When I first saw the hotel, there was a kind of ancient beauty. The hotel was mainly composed of buildings with white walls and black tiles. Here, there were no modern glass doors or exquisite glass tiles to be seen, only quaint and elegant small buildings rising from the ground, making people feel more at ease and instantly feeling the warmth of home.
The layout of the hotel adopts a garden style, surrounded by clusters of flowers, and the lake flows quietly. Beside the rockery, a white sculpture stands out, making it incredibly peaceful.
Outside every building in the hotel, there are red lanterns hanging, and the concentration of the home has instantly increased. These lanterns have gradually faded under the washing of wind and rain, but they appear more real and lovely.
