Xitang is not my first time visiting, but because of its charm, it always attracts people to go and play again and again.

Xitang has a long history, with the water of the Spring and Autumn period, the towns of the Tang and Song dynasties, the architecture of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and modern people. What modern people like is retro.

How do I get to Xitang?

Buses, self driving, and taking a taxi are all good choices with very convenient transportation. It is only a 2-hour journey from Shanghai to Xitang.

What are you playing in Xitang?

Xitang requires tickets.

Joint ticket: 100 yuan/person (including the Five Girls Theme Park and 11 scenic spots);

Before 8am in the summer and after 6pm in the evening, there is no need for tickets. You can enter directly, but of course, those small attractions cannot be accessed. The time may vary slightly depending on the season.

When I came before, the main focus was on the town center, but this time, I found a more secluded place, which is Xitang Flower Lane.

One of the gathering places for homestays in Xitang is Huaxiang.

If you go on a night tour, the busiest place in Huaxiang is the Folk Square. If you come to have a trendy party, it would be the best thing.

Especially in summer, it is extremely elegant to enjoy the cool breeze, enjoy the moon, and listen to music here.

At night, the lights here are shining brightly, and you can also check in under the wings of angels, have a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and feel the peaceful atmosphere of the ancient town.

You can also check in to Qian Yuman's nostalgic landscape restaurant and attend a feast of hairy crabs.

Of course, you can also change into Hanfu and travel through ancient and modern times.

If Xitang Flower Lane is tranquil, then the center of the ancient town is bustling with excitement. On the night of Xitang, there are bars to accompany you, and those who want to eat, eat, and stroll are naturally not a problem. There are various internet famous delicacies, various waterfront shops, and various markets.

Of course, when it comes to Xitang, what I love the most is the corridor shed. It is completely different from other ancient towns. Xitang still preserves more than 1300 meters of corridor sheds, especially in the hot summer of Jiangnan. Here, you can take a cool break from the heat. It is definitely an early convenience facility, and the ancients were also very thoughtful.

Taking a boat is necessary, otherwise I always feel like something is missing, and taking photos will also miss out on many interesting shots.

An ordinary tourist costs 30 yuan per person. If you are lucky, you may leave alone on a boat. Of course, this situation is relatively rare. Last time, my friend and I had four people on a boat, which is also considered a shortage of people. It is very convenient to take photos and you can move your position; Of course, it's better to charter a boat, which costs 200 yuan per boat and can accommodate 8 people for half an hour; We also have a 500 yuan charter boat that can accommodate up to 6 people. There are refreshments on it, and you can enjoy a tea cruise for an hour. This is even more high-end, and you can go to many corners of ancient towns that you don't usually go to.

Once you're on the boat, go to Flower Lane to order some delicious food, desserts, and coffee. There's the only Starbucks and KFC in the ancient town here.

The Shipi Lane in the town is a must pass passage. It is located at the end of Xitang West Street, with a total length of 68 meters. It is paved with 216 stone slabs with a thickness of only three centimeters, and is the corridor between the Wang Family Zunwen Hall and the Zhongfu Hall. The thin stone slab, as the surface of the sewer, is called Shipi Nong. Its widest point is 1.1 meters, and its narrowest point is only 0.8 meters, with a narrow sky above it. Therefore, Shipi Nong has the saying of "one line of sky" in Xitang.

Playing until dusk, quickly drive to Huayi Brothers Film World. It's only a 2-hour drive from Xitang to Suzhou.
