Salt official, fragrant grass, and green RV campsite

Day1

Depart by self driving at 12:00 noon and arrive in approximately 40 minutes Salt official, fragrant grass, and green RV campsite.

Self driving from Hangzhou, starting from the Babao section of Dingqiao, stretches for about 3 kilometers along the cherry blossom path, all the way to the Jiuli Bridge in Yanguan. The magnificent scenery before you is breathtaking. The cherry blossom trees on both sides of the road are nestled in between, and a boy is riding a scooter ahead. Big golden hair is running towards its little owner, and the child cheers with surprise. It's really a cool scene. There is infinite harmony between humans, animals, and nature.

After arriving at the parking lot of Fangcao Qingqing RV Campsite, we contacted the campsite and immediately arranged for a sightseeing car to pick us up.

The sightseeing car took us to the gas station at the RV campsite, which is also the reception center of the campsite. After checking in, the butler arranged to take us to the RV courtyard.

The Yanguan Fangcao Qingqing RV Campsite covers an area of 27000 square meters, with a total of 37 RV courtyards, including 57 high-end RVs and 4 mobile RV parking spaces. It is the first campsite hotel invested and managed by Kaiyuan Hotel Group. The 5016 we are staying in is a 10 meter RV with a separate courtyard.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed the happy holiday time at Fangche Camp. The children were busy and had fun. The facilities of the children's playground here were imported from Finland and were very unique. Not only were the safety details designed very carefully, but there were also many new and unique projects. The children had never played anywhere else before, so they could really stay and not leave.

We also specially booked a motorhome with a waterfront courtyard, where a few dads went fishing. There were fish fry specially placed in the fish pond for breeding, so it was still easy to catch fish, allowing dads to enjoy the satisfaction of catching fish. The fish caught can be sent to the salt dining hall at the campsite for processing, and dinner can be served directly.

There are outdoor experience areas such as live action CS, shooting range, tennis court, and treehouse tribe in the camp.

Moreover, the RV campsite allows pets to be brought with them. This is my skin, so I can have fun everywhere. One particularly good thing about the campsite is that many small mailboxes can be seen on the roadside, where there are cleaning bags specifically designed to store pet poop.

Baili Qiantang Cherry Blossom Forest

RV Campsite and Baili Qiantang Cherry Blossom Forest Adjacent, this is truly a pleasant surprise for our trip. I used to regret that I might miss the beautiful cherry blossom season this year. I didn't expect to see such a spectacular cherry blossom forest in Salt Officer. In 2015, Baili Qiantang was selected as one of the first provincial-level tourist resorts as the "most beautiful ecological green corridor in northern Zhejiang". Baili Qiantang Ecological Green Belt Starting from the large gap of Dingqiao in the east and extending to the eastern tidal area of the scenic area in the west, it has a total length of 12.5 kilometers and an area of nearly a thousand acres. Within the green belt, there are 1 kilometer of ginkgo forest, 3 kilometers of cherry blossom forest, blocky mulberry and osmanthus forests along the way, scenic fish ponds dotted with stars, retro and leisure thatched cottage stations, and colorful bicycle paths running throughout the entire journey. These are synonymous with ecology and health. Until cherry blossoms fall like snow, ginkgo leaves turn yellow, and orchids are fragrant and fragrant... Let's enjoy the scenery of the four seasons while cycling together.

The Yanguan Baili Qiantang Cherry Blossom Forest is located within the Yanguan Baili Qiantang Ecological Green Belt, with a 370 acre, 250000 square meter cherry blossom forest planted with over 6000 cherry blossoms. At this moment, it is the season when cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Pink and white cherry blossoms are rendered like ink paintings in the green belt, like a dream. This scene is like entering a fairyland on earth.

At this time, the blooming cherry blossoms are all early cherry blossoms. Early cherry blossoms first bloom and then leave, with colors like snow. The spring breeze brushes by, and the falling petals are intoxicating.

In the center of the cherry blossom forest, there is a small stream flowing by, and the crabapple flowers planted on both sides of the stream are now blooming. The red crabapple flowers and white cherry blossoms complement each other, making it an ecological area of Baili Qiantang. Here, not only are cherry blossoms and crabapple flowers blooming, but at this season, you can also see patches of February orchids, pink purple flowers fluttering in the wind, as if entering a fairy tale world. And there are also Bauhinia, Magnolia

The cherry blossom period is relatively short, usually less than a month. The above are the early cherry blossom pictures I took on March 24th. Therefore, friends who like cherry blossoms can plan the best time to appreciate them. It is expected that the late cherry blossoms will bloom in early April, with the leaves of the late cherry blossoms blooming together and colorful. When I came, it was cloudy. If you can encounter a sunny day, it will definitely be more dazzling than the scenes I captured!

The evening was a romantic DIY barbecue dinner at the campsite.

Our RV is really great, with two bedrooms and a skylight with a window on the top of the master bedroom bed. Lying in bed at night, you can see the starry sky, which is particularly romantic. There is a spacious circular sofa in the living room, and flowers and welcome fruit plates are carefully placed on the coffee table. The cabinet has children's books, cartoon stools, and small step stools that children can use in the bathroom. The toiletries are all standard equipment of Kaiyuan Hotel Group, but there will be an additional set of children's teeth, and a pair of children's slippers in the shoe cabinet. No wonder the doll looks like a car owner, and instantly becomes proud. That night, the little owner slept soundly.

Day2

The child woke up around 8 o'clock in the morning. It was less than 100 meters from our RV to the gas station, and the breakfast at the salt restaurant was quite good. Firstly, the dining environment was good, with a variety of categories, a combination of Chinese and Western styles, and the service was also very good. There are noodle stalls in the breakfast, including small Wonton and noodles mixed with scallion oil, which are very authentic. The noodles and lard mixed by my brother are my long lost flavor. Eight saucers of condiments will be placed next to the tofu pudding in the big bucket. I added scallions, laver, shrimp, sesame oil and soy sauce to tofu pudding. I was so happy to see the oil floating on the surface of tofu pudding and remembered my own appearance long ago. 100% pure juice, baked sweet potatoes in the oven, toasted toast with a fragrant aroma in the toaster, and a cup of coffee to sit for a while after finishing. Looking back at the chocolate fountain next to the table, it was probably prepared by the babies who woke up late for breakfast and lunch

Former Residence of Wang Guowei

After breakfast, head to Wang Guowei's former residence. From the campsite to several scenic spots in Yanguan Ancient Town, including Wang Guowei's former residence, Jin Yong's former residence, Confucian Temple, Sea God Temple, and Guanchao Park, the journey is within a 10 minute drive. These scenic spots are all adjacent, with a 2-5 minute drive between each. Therefore, traveling to Yanguan is very convenient in terms of transportation, and you can visit all the scenic spots in half a day.

In 1886, Wang Guowei's father Wang Naiyu built this "entertainment house" here, and then the whole family moved here from Shuangren Lane in Yanguan Town where they lived. Now the two characters "Yulu" are hanging in the center of the main hall of the first courtyard of Wang Guowei's former residence.

Wang Guowei is a famous modern Chinese scholar and master of traditional Chinese culture. His former residence presents the typical Shikumen architecture in a Qing Dynasty mansion, which was his residence during his youth. Located in Zhoujiadou, Yanguan West Gate Street, facing the Qiantang River across the city wall to the south and facing the Shihe River to the north. In 1886, Wang Guowei's father Wang Naiyu built this "entertainment house" here, so the whole family moved here from Shuangren Lane where they lived. The former residence faces north and south, with a wooden courtyard style building consisting of two entrances. In front of it is a flat house with three pillars, and inside and outside the main entrance are plaques inscribed by Gu Tinglong and Zhu Mu with the words "Wang Guowei's Former Residence"; There is a half body bronze statue of Mr. Wang Guowei in the center of the entrance hall.

Twelve portraits and other materials of Wang's life are displayed in the hall. The courtyard faces north and south, and the building is a wooden structure. In the center of the front hall, there is a half body bronze statue of Wang Guowei, which is displayed in three parts: the first part introduces Wang Guowei's hometown, family background, and life. The second part introduces Wang Guowei's main academic achievements and displays Wang's various works and manuscripts. The third part is the study of Wang Guowei's works by domestic and foreign experts and scholars.

The old house is a symmetrical building facing north and south, with two entrances and a total area of about 290 square meters. It is a flat house with three bays in the front and a building in the back. There is a courtyard and a wing between the two entrances. The entire building has its own independent courtyard, and there are steep stairs on both sides of the main hall after the two entrances.

There are three bedrooms on the second floor, one for Wang Guowei's parents, one for Mr. Wang Guowei, and the other for Qian Mama's bedroom located in the aisle room between the two stairs. Qian Mama is a servant of the Wang family. In fact, in the old society, it was very kind of servants to have a relatively independent space.

The three main rooms facing south are Wang Guowei's parents' bedroom, Mr. Wang Guowei's bedroom, and Mr. Wang Guowei's study. The layout of the gentleman's study is very comfortable, with a spacious desk facing the porch window. There are rocking chairs in the room, and books and smoking kettles are placed next to the chairs. The books on the shelves and in the bucket in the room still seem to emit a faint ink fragrance.

Wang Guowei's parents' bedroom still showcases the exquisite lifestyle of wealthy families in the past. The three inch golden lotus flower and finely carved dressing table in front of the bed all evoke the impression that his mother must be a delicate woman.

Coming down the stairs, I saw the courtyard behind the room. At this moment, spring buds had bloomed and were full of fresh green.

Turning out, the two side rooms of the second entrance are respectively the stove and storage room.

Mr.'s former residence is peaceful, no wonder the tour guide says that it was his parents who bought land and built this "school district house" for him in the secluded western suburbs in order to make him study with peace of mind.

Confucius Temple Academy

After leaving Wang Guowei's former residence, it took less than two minutes by car to reach the Confucius Temple School. The Confucius Temple School followed the regulations of the Song Dynasty's Left School and Right Temple, and was a local official school of various dynasties with a special status and deep roots. The Yanguan Confucian Temple School Palace has been rebuilt on its original site in recent years, and the site of the old school palace can still be seen in the scenic area. It can be divided into three parts for sightseeing: leading, left learning, and right temple.

The leading part includes Zhaobi, Panchi, Kuixing Pavilion, etc. Each place has its own origin and characteristics, such as the Kuixing Pavilion, which enshrines the "Five Wenchang" and is located at the entrance of the Confucian Temple and School Palace scenic spot, which is very eye-catching.

The Left School section includes the Confucian School, the Ritual School, the Minglun Hall, the Jingyi Pavilion, and the Zun Jing Pavilion. Among them, Minglun Hall is a place for reading, lecturing, preaching, and researching, teaching people to understand the ethical and moral standards between people. The right temple includes Lingxing Gate, Dacheng Gate, Dacheng Hall, and Chongsheng Temple, which are halls dedicated to the worship of Confucius. The Lingxing Gate is the main gate of the Confucian Temple, and Lingxing, also known as the Heavenly Zhenxing, refers to Confucius' implementation of education and the cultivation of talents. The second gate is called Dacheng Gate. The word "Dacheng" is taken from the "Confucius is called Jidacheng" in the "Mencius", praising Confucius for achieving the highest level of collecting the great achievements of ancient sages and sages.

The Dacheng Hall is the main building of the Confucian Temple, with a seated statue of Confucius in the center and four seated statues of Yan Hui, Zeng Can, and others on both sides. The reporter learned that the current Confucian Temple Academy only has a tourist function, and some performance programs will be launched in the future to bring the culture of the Confucian Temple to the eyes of tourists.

Tanah Lot

Yanguan is the place where the tide of the Qianjiang River rises, and it is also the place where the tide is most turbulent. The Salt Guanhai Temple was a place where ancient Chinese laborers sacrificed their lives to the sea. Its initial construction date is unknown, and its current building area has been preserved to one-third of its original size after several generations of war damage and repairs.

In southern China, royal style buildings are generally not allowed to be built, but in the case of Yan Guan, an exception was made by Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty in China, with funding from the state and supervision by government officials, to build such a large-scale architectural complex. The Sea God Temple originally covered an area of 40 acres, about hectares. After several wars, the existing area accounts for about one-third of the original area.

The architectural style of the Sea God Temple and the folk legend of the "identity of the Sea God" are shrouded in layers of fog of the "usurpation of the throne by Emperor Yongzheng". It is said that after Emperor Yongzheng changed his edict to usurp the throne and plotted to assassinate his brothers, he was afraid to dream of the 14th prince reclaiming the throne from him at night. In order to appease him, he promised to build a palace in the south and could accept "court" worship. This is why although the statue of the Sea God carries a crown and is dressed in a dragon robe, it still holds the wat that was only taken by the courtiers to court. The word "chao" that Yongzheng accepted was actually the word "chao". Due to the daily rising tide of the Qiantang River, and the fact that Yanguan was the location with the highest tide, the Sea God Temple displayed an extraordinary royal aura everywhere.

The Imperial Stele Pavilion behind the main hall houses the imperial stele of Emperor Yongzheng and Emperor Qianlong, both father and son.

Another highlight of the Sea God Temple is the stone and wood carvings in the architecture. At present, there are still buildings on the central axis, as well as doorstep squares, stone squares, stone lions, and Qingcheng bridges. It is the largest imperial style architectural relic in the Jiangnan region, with exquisite stone carvings and important cultural and artistic value. It combines exquisite architectural structures and exquisite carving art, fully reflecting the intelligence and artistic creativity of the ancient laboring people.

Time flows through thousands of years unintentionally. In the courtyard that has not yet been officially opened after the epidemic, there is a person in the air. There are multiple stone benches like this in the courtyard, and wearing Hanfu, I stepped on them with one foot, feeling like I have truly traveled through time

Jinyong Academy

From the Sea God Temple to Jin Yong Academy is also very close. Every time the Salt Officer comes, he will go to Jin Yong Academy for a walk. Although she is a girl, she has been influenced by her father since childhood and grew up reading Mr. Jin Yong's martial arts novels. As she grows up, she is immersed in the love between children and girls in those stories. The main entrance of Jinyong Academy faces Chunxi Road, with a crescent shaped gate and the four golden characters "Jinyong Academy" on it.

Entering Jin Yong Academy, one can first see long corridors paved with quaint bluestone slabs. This is the main entrance to the academy, and on both sides of the corridor are towering pine potted plants. The most attractive feature is the stone carvings of 15 Jin Yong works, including "Legend of the Condor Heroes" and "Laughing in the Jianghu," created by Mr. Jin Yong on one side of the corridor wall. The carvings are exquisitely lifelike, evoking memories and imaginative thoughts.

Passing through the Taoli Gate, you arrived at the main entrance of Jin Yong Academy, which is a brick carved platform door. Crossing the stone threshold and crossing the small stone bridge, you will find the center of the academy - the lecture hall, named the Shujian Hall. The quaint lecture hall is located on a pool of clear water, with gentle drizzle falling into the pool, decorating this building with a strong cultural atmosphere.

Behind the Shujian Hall is a small courtyard surrounded by pavilions and towers. As spring approaches, green plants begin to sprout, and the goldfish in the pond leisurely play

The back hall is an exhibition hall that showcases Mr. Jin Yong's precious manuscripts, collections, creative books, engraved seals, swords, and more.

The garden scenery stored in Jin Yong Academy is fresh and pleasant, no wonder the teacher can write and think here.

Yanguan Tide Viewing Park

I wandered around and visited several scenic spots in the area led by the ancient town, but the actual time spent was not much. Finally, I had to go to the Salt Guan Tide Park. Salt Guan is famous for watching tides, and many people thought that the Qianjiang River tide only occurs once a year. That's really wrong. The Qianjiang River tide occurs every day, but the arrival time of the tide varies. Every time the tide rises, the scene is spectacular. Of course, around the 18th day of the eighth lunar month every year, it is the most majestic period for the Qianjiang River tidal surge throughout the year.

The best viewing spot in the tidal park is this Zhanao Pagoda, which is the best place to watch the "first line of tides", also known as the Zhenhai Pagoda. It was first built in the Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the 40th year of the Ming Wanli era (1612). It, like the Zhenhai Iron Bull, is designed to suppress the tide and lock in the raging waves.

The park along the riverbank in the Guanchao Park is called Baishitan. It was originally a place where Emperor Qianlong rode to watch the tide and left behind an imperial poem: "The Baishitan (altar) next to the Zhenhai Pagoda, the tide watching end is not inferior to Si Lai; the tide of Tashan reaches in an instant, and the Luo Cha River flows backwards." This altar was later destroyed, and now Baishitan Square was rebuilt in 2002, integrating large-scale festival activities, sightseeing, cultural performances, leisure and entertainment. It is a landmark landscape of the Guanchao Resort Park. The annual International Qianjiang (Haining) Tide Watching Festival is held here.

When the tide rises, you can see a white line in the sky from afar, slowly tilting towards you. As it approaches, you can hear the rolling waves, with a majestic momentum, rushing towards the sea... The whole process is very spectacular.

Lan Hall

The tide watching ended around 1 pm, and local friends arranged a lunch in Lanting.

Lanting is the sales center of the Ideal Water Town in Yanguan Green City. When visiting Yanguan for tourism, if you discover something with added value, smart people will naturally pay more attention.

The unexpected harvest also included the local specialty food in the restaurant - the most famous Yanguan Wangcai, Haining jar meat, steamed white fish, dried eggplant, salted meat and spring bamboo shoots, Sauteed Shrimps, each of which was appetizing.

The two-day and one night trip to Yanguan was easy and fulfilling due to the convenience of the itinerary. We stayed in a new and unique RV, where we not only saw the blooming cherry blossoms in the sky, but also witnessed the majestic Qianjiang River Tide. We had barbecues, fishing, visiting famous people's former residences, and scenic sites... It was a feast for the eyes and a feast for the mouth, and it was definitely worth recommending!
