Preface
A city story, a river tide.
In Haining, Zhejiang, there is a millennium old city hidden in it. Although it is not well-known far and wide, it has a unique charm.
The majestic momentum of the Qiantang River is its strongest armor, the blue bricks and black tiles of Wang Guowei's former residence are its unchanging background, the intricacies of the Sea God Temple are its most mysterious colors, and the chivalrous dream of Jin Yong Academy is its most reluctant youthful sentiment
On this brilliant spring day, the cherry blossoms in the Qiantang Ecological Green Belt are blooming incredibly brilliantly. In the green grass and under the starry sky, you may encounter a romantic window in the RV.
1
Fangcao Qingqing RV Campsite: Deep in cherry blossoms, capturing a romantic window of the RV
Under the starry sky and under the shade of trees, there will always be a moment that belongs to you. Upon first meeting Haining Salt Officials, I arrived at the Fangcao Qingqing RV Campsite hidden within the Qiantang Ecological Green Belt, a hundred miles away from Salt Officials. On the lush flat ground, the RVs were arranged in a neat and elegant manner, creating a beautiful scenery without any discordance.
Fangcao Qingqing Grassland RV Campsite is the first campsite hotel invested and managed by Kaiyuan Hotel Group. Unlike other RV campsites, it is surrounded by green trees, beautiful and elegant, and quiet yet modern, making it very suitable for family travel.
The campsite has a total of 37 RV courtyards, equipped with various facilities such as a beverage bar, restaurant, conference room, and children's playground. Compared to the towering resort hotels, this place is closer to nature and exudes a lively atmosphere. For people like me who have been suffocated at home, it is definitely the best choice for leisure vacation.
The campsite has a large area, just like its name, with green grasslands everywhere and a fresh environment, like a natural oxygen bar. As an old boy with a childlike heart, the experiential products here are irresistible. Shooting machines, kayaks, live CS, archery, electric power bikes, and more, with bright color collisions, instantly ignite interest. There is also a wilderness survival classroom that combines education and entertainment, where children can unleash their nature to the fullest. Even through masks, it is difficult to conceal their joy. What impressed me the most was an aerobic jog on the hundred mile road in front of the campsite, making friends with cherry blossoms and feeling the gentle breeze.
As night falls, stars sneak into the window of the RV, leaving romance nowhere to escape.
In order to live up to the romance of this window, we have decided to experience a self-service barbecue feast. There is a wide variety of food here, including shrimp, beef and mutton skewers, and various types of seafood. The restaurant's decoration is retro and fashionable, and the bright tablecloth paired with tall wine glasses adds to the atmosphere to the extreme.
After the excitement was over, when I returned to my room and opened the car door, the warm yellow lights scattered all over the ground, making me feel at home.
Although the room area is not large, it has everything you need, including an exquisite small sofa, a clean coffee table, a variety of fruit plates, and it is worth mentioning that the RV also comes with Bluetooth function, which is definitely a great highlight for music enthusiasts.
The decoration of the RV is mainly in natural wood color, and the comfortable king bed is well-designed. The print on the bed sheet reproduces a hundred acres of cherry blossom forest, and the green trees outside the window cover it. The refreshing atmosphere on the screen is irresistible. Here, all seasons are picturesque, with blooming cherry blossoms in spring, frogs chirping and cicadas chirping in summer, plump fruits and vegetables in autumn, and plum blossoms in winter. There will always be a moment when you are tempted by the falling snow.
2 Explore a hundred acres of cherry blossom forest and embark on a romantic journey to the end
In March of Yangchun, the most eye-catching feature of the Baili Qiantang Ecological Green Belt is not only the vast green grassland and charming RVs, but also the 370 acre cherry blossom forest that stretches for 3 kilometers, forming a beautiful scenic line.
The colorful bicycle path freely shuttles through the cherry blossom forest, like a faint rainbow, making people's eyes bright.
Arriving at the hundred acre cherry blossom forest, there was no sound of noisy motor vehicles, only groups of bicycles embracing romance and shuttling through it. Pink and white cherry blossoms, like ink paintings, dyed the layers of the forest, as if being drawn into a beautiful love story, carrying romance to the end.
The spring scenery fills the garden and cannot be closed. A red apricot tree comes out of the wall. In this bright spring day, although I have never encountered a red apricot tree, it is still a beautiful thing to collide with this long cherry blossom forest.
Under the romantic cherry blossom corridor, lovers cuddle up to each other, occasionally showing the figures of children shuttling around. Light and lovely, with a gentle breeze blowing, cherry blossoms scattered and resting on the shoulders of tourists, drifting in the clean small pond, and attached to the warm spring sun
In addition to the hundred acre cherry blossom forest fluttering in the sky, there are also many post stations along the way, which are quaint and peaceful, providing visitors with a place to rest. The crabapple flowers here are also blooming beautifully, red and white, charming and charming. As the saying goes, "the rain and blush fade away, and the half blooming season is the most enchanting." Although the area is not comparable to cherry blossoms, it also adds a touch of spring to this green grassland campsite.
3 Wang Guowei's Former Residence, Encountering Human Talents
Some people say that Wang Guowei's academic achievements are like a dazzling diamond, with every crystal clear section shining with a heart stirring brilliance. When it comes to Wang Guowei, everyone is familiar with it. As a renowned scholar in modern China who enjoys international reputation, his name has appeared countless times in the classroom, which is still fresh in memory. The three realms he mentioned in "Human Ci Hua" are even more beneficial. Unexpectedly, this highly respected human talent was growing up in the salt official of Haining, Zhejiang.
In the west gate of Yanguan Town, there is a quaint and peaceful house in Zhoujiadou, which is the former residence of Wang Guowei. When I first saw my former residence, I was attracted by its unadorned elegance. This small house, which was less than 300 square meters, was built by Wang Guowei's father Wang Naiyu. At the time, Wang Guowei was only 9 years old and spent a happy period of youth here. Afterwards, he went out to study and still came back to live there every year. Wang Guowei affectionately called it the "West City House".
The stone statue of Wang Guowei is located at the entrance of the former residence, surrounded by green plants, which is simple and beautiful. Entering through the door, I was greeted by a small courtyard. The former residence was divided into two levels, with one level house consisting of three bays and the other level building consisting of two levels. Afterwards, there were also courtyards and side rooms, which were arranged in an orderly manner and had a strong sense of privacy.
Entering the front hall, what caught the eye was a half body bronze statue of Wang Guowei, wearing a melon skin hat and round glasses, with a calm demeanor and a scholarly demeanor. The surrounding walls tell the story of Wang Guowei's life and family background, and vivid illustrations tell the story of Mr. Wang Guowei's life.
Moving to the exhibition hall, where Mr. Wang Guowei's lifelong dedication and glory are displayed, the most eye-catching of which is his "Three Realms of Life", which vividly interprets his pursuit of academia. Mr. Wang Guowei's manuscripts, rubbings, and other works are placed in the display box, and the dim yellow spotlight adds a sense of solemnity to the atmosphere. Strolling through it, it feels like walking into Wang Guowei's academic hall, making one dare not slack off a bit.
Unconsciously, he arrived at Mr. Wang Guowei's bedroom, with the shoes he had worn during his lifetime in front of the bed. He was particularly eye-catching in red, with no unnecessary display except for some essential daily necessities. The overall feeling was relatively simple, but within the simplicity, there was a hint of delicacy. Whether it was the exquisitely carved cabinets or the dignified and elegant dressing table, they all reflected Mr. Wang Guowei's quality of life, just like the pursuit of academia, achieving simplicity and not vulgarity.
There is also a small backyard hidden here, walking slowly along the cobblestone paved path, surrounded by lush green plants, and small stone piers appearing faintly. Upon closer inspection, there is also a well, which is eye-catching.
What surprised me the most was Mr. Wang Guowei's study. As a scholar, the study is undoubtedly a favorite of Mr. Wang Guowei. Compared to the bedroom, the study looks a bit luxurious. The simple cabinets are decorated with vases collected by Mr. Wang Guowei, with exquisite workmanship and vivid flower patterns. Several ink paintings are hung on the walls, full of poetry. On the desk were Wang Guowei's pens, ink, paper, and inkstones from his lifetime. There was a door and window in front of the desk, and outside the window, there were lush trees and rolling clouds, creating a picturesque atmosphere.
4 Jin Yong Academy, Reviewing the Dream of Heroes
Flying snow shooting white deer in the sky, laughing at the divine hero leaning on the blue mandarin. I believe that Jin Yong is indispensable in the youth of every generation born in the 1980s and 1990s. For most of them, Jin Yong is their youth. Jin Yong had a chivalrous dream throughout his life, wielding his power and writing countless popular works, such as "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", "Laughing Proud in the Jianghu", "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", etc. none of them are well-known. His characters are flesh and blood, full of tough and tender emotions.
Many people are unaware that he, known as one of the "Four Great Talents of Hong Kong," was actually born in Haining, Zhejiang and did not immigrate to Hong Kong until 1948. On this journey of the Salt Officer, he finally walked into Jin Yong Academy with reverence. Jin Yong Academy is located in the southeast of Yanguan Town, Haining. It was planned and built in 2008 and took two years to complete. Mr. Jin Yong personally participated in the groundbreaking construction and planted Jin Gui and Yin Gui in the academy. Unfortunately, nowadays, things have changed and people have changed, but the osmanthus flowers in this courtyard are blooming so well.
Entering Jin Yong Academy feels like stepping into Suzhou gardens, and the screen full of Jiangnan ancient charm is irresistible. It is said that the construction layout of the academy was built in reference to the most famous Anlan Academy in the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of over 4000 square meters, like a large museum with a collection of ten thousand books. The four golden characters "Jin Yong Academy" at the entrance are particularly prominent, and the wall on one side is covered with moss, full of spring. Slowly walking along the bluestone road, the corridor is long and profound. The left wall is vividly painted, telling the story of fifteen representative works of Mr. Jin Yong, including "Flying Snow Shooting White Deer in the Sky, Laughing Books and Divine Heroes Leaning on Blue Mandarin". In an instant, all the vivid characters that appeared in the TV series jumped onto the paper.
The main entrance of Jinyong Academy is a brick carved platform door, which is quite common in ancient residences in Jiangnan. The platform door is exquisitely carved and has a great style. Passing through the small stone bridge, we arrived at the Shujian Hall, which is also the center of the academy. The main lecture hall is located on a pool of clear water, with an old lecture table, a wooden hanging screen, and a pool of Qiantang River. The hanging screens on both sides are engraved with background stone green characters, and poems such as "The Great Learning" and "The Tao Te Ching" are catchy.
There is a library building in the academy, with the ground paved with plain bricks, creating a simple and elegant atmosphere. In the glass display cabinet of the exhibition hall, Mr. Jin Yong's sword was displayed. In an instant, ambition and passion surged in my heart. The light and shadow of the sword seemed to travel back to Jin Yong's novel, transforming into a hero and wielding his sword to walk the ends of the world. Rows of bookcases display Mr. Jin Yong's works, arranged in a neat and orderly manner. If you accidentally open a book, you can dream back to the world.
Strolling in the academy, one can not only feel the strong aroma of books, but also be attracted by the spring scenery of the garden. The surrounding rockeries are piled up, the strange rocks are rugged, and there are also delicate banana trees and quaint and exquisite small terraces, which are truly unforgettable.
5. Confucius Temple and Temple, a holy land of Chinese culture
When it comes to the Confucian Temple, I believe many people will think of Nanjing Confucius Temple. As one of the four major Confucian temples in China, Confucius Temple is well-known and once became a tourist landmark in Nanjing. However, among these numerous Confucian temples, there are also some little-known niche temples that, although not well-known, have a certain flavor. On this trip of the Salt Officer, I had the privilege of encountering the Confucian Temple and Temple, which is known as the "Holy Land of Chinese Culture" and was the first lesson I learned about Confucius.
The Confucius Temple Academy, as the name suggests, is a temple building built in memory of the great educator Confucius. The construction of the Confucian Temple Temple can be traced back to the Sui Dynasty. After more than 50 reconstructions, renovations, and expansions, the Confucian Temple Temple we see today was rebuilt on its original site. When we come here, we can not only appreciate the current style of the Confucian Temple, but also see the ruins of the Confucian Temple Temple and feel the vicissitudes of life.
When I first saw the Confucian Temple, I was attracted by the red walls and black tiles. Against the backdrop of green trees, the Confucian Temple was particularly eye-catching and had an extraordinary temperament. The Confucian Temple Academy follows the regulations of the Left School and the Right Temple, and is divided into three parts: the Leading School, the Left School, and the Right Temple. The prelude consists of parts such as Zhaobi, Panchi, Kuixing Pavilion, and Jiexiao Temple. The Kuixing Pavilion is exquisite and delicate, and the Jiexiao Temple is filled with incense. Strolling through it, it feels as if the four seas are empty, and all the troubles disappear.
Moving to the Left School, there are buildings such as the Confucian Gate, the Ritual Gate, the Minglun Hall, the Jingyi Pavilion, and the Zun Jing Pavilion. Compared to the leading part, this place appears more ancient and poetic. Sitting leisurely in the Jingyi Pavilion, listening to the evening drums and morning bells, feeling the ups and downs of all things, and making people feel washed away.
The right temple is the main building of the Confucius Temple, which includes the Dacheng Hall, Lingxing Gate, Dacheng Gate, and Chongsheng Temple. Walking into the Dacheng Hall, one can see a seated statue of Confucius, with a dignified and elegant temperament, making people feel even more familiar. The Confucian Temple School Palace is lush and lush, making it more fresh and natural compared to other temples. The architecture here fully combines local characteristics, incorporating the tenderness of Jiangnan into the Confucian ritual system. While promoting the spirit of Confucius, it interprets the local cultural characteristics without reservation.
6. Sea God Temple, Exploring the Eternal Mysteries of the Yongzheng Dynasty
As soon as you enter the palace gate, it is as deep as the sea, most ruthless as the imperial family. As is well known, the path of Emperor Yongzheng's ascension to the throne was bumpy. In order to successfully ascend to the throne, he spared no expense in the slaughter of his brothers. There are countless historical stories related to this, but most of them are complex and confusing. And in the Yanguan Seawall, there is such a mysterious sea god temple, which has countless connections with the Yongzheng Dynasty. Little did they know that as soon as the temple door opened, it was a huge "Jiangnan Forbidden City".
The Sea God Temple, also known as the Temple Palace, was founded in 1730 and has a history of 274 years. It is a palace style building dedicated to worshiping the "God of Zhejiang and the Sea". As is well known, in the south, such royal style buildings are generally not allowed to be built. However, in the Salt Palace, Emperor Yongzheng ordered the construction to be funded by the state. The Sea God Temple originally covered an area of 40 acres, but after experiencing wars, only one-third of the original area is now left. However, even so, visitors to the temple are still impressed by its grandeur, which reminds people of the legend of the Sea God Temple.
There has always been a saying among the people that when Emperor Yongzheng made an exception to build the Sea God Temple, it seemed to be promoting water conservancy and benefiting the people, but in fact, it was to redeem himself and use the sound of the Qiantang River to appease those who had died. As for the truth, no one knows. Regardless, the construction of the Sea God Temple fully showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient craftsmen, embodies the wisdom and artistic crystallization of the Chinese working people, and is the largest imperial style architectural relic in the Jiangnan region, with great historical and cultural value.
Upon entering the Sea God Temple, there is a feeling of "entering the palace gate as deep as the sea". The towering city tower exudes a majestic aura, as if rejecting the "human touch". The architecture of the Sea God Temple is very exquisite. The red walls and blue tiles, the White Marble cross street stone workshops alone in the south of the Yangtze River, the White Marble stone lions with exquisite carvings, the rare White Marble big stone columns in the world, and the paintings in the hall are also drawn in imitation of the traditional patterns dedicated to the Chinese royal family. It really has a taste of "the Forbidden City".
Climbing up the stairs, each step appears particularly solemn. A closer look shows that both the White Marble stone lion in front of the temple and the large stone pillar with exquisite carving have become mottled under the baptism of years, and the steps are covered with moss, showing the vicissitudes of life, and the sense of history is overwhelming. The incense burner in the main hall is constantly burning, quietly guarding a piece of land, standing still regardless of the tide.
7. Experience the rolling waves in Grandpa Mao's writing in the scenic park of the tidal resort
The Qiantang River is depicted by Grandpa Mao, with thousands of miles of waves rolling and snowflakes flying towards the fishing platform. When you come to Haining, the most unforgettable thing is the magnificent Qianjiang Tide, also known as Haining Tide, which is known as the "Wonder of the World". Along with the "Leizhou Drum Exchange", "Guangde Burial", and "Dengzhou Haishi", it is known as the "Four Wonders of the World". For a tide watching enthusiast, choosing a suitable location is very important. There are many tide watching locations on the Qiantang River, and this time we have chosen the Yanguan Tide Watching Resort Park.
The Tide Watching Resort Park is not only a scenic spot for Haining Salt Officials, but also a world-renowned scenic spot. The "first line of tides" here is known as a wonder of the world. Here, you can watch the tides day by day and month by month. The tides are seen twice a day, with a 12 hour interval between each time, and those who have seen them exclaim in awe.
The tidal resort park is located south of the Qiantang River and north of the Hangjin Highway, running east-west, forming a narrow tidal viewing area with a total length of 1360 meters. Coming here, not only can you have a panoramic view of the spectacular Qiantang River tide, but you can also enjoy many famous scenic spots and historical sites. There are national key cultural heritage units such as Fish Scale Stone Pond, Ming Dynasty Zhan'ao Pagoda, Sun Yat sen Tide Watching Pavilion - Tianfeng Haitao Pavilion, Mao Zedong Tide Watching Poetry Monument Memorial Pavilion, and other scenic spots in the park. It also includes a scenic seawall, two tide watching towers, and six tide watching platforms, which are the best viewing points for the world's wonder of Haining Tide. The park is lush with peach blossoms and willows, and vibrant everywhere. The winding cobblestone paths are like a jade belt, embedded in the green grass, which looks really beautiful.
In order to smoothly watch the tide, we arrived at the Tide Watching Resort Park in advance. The statue of the Tide Watching Covenant here was very eye-catching, with eight people including Hu Shi, Tao Zhixing, and Cao Chengying meeting Xu Zhimo to watch the tide here. This has become a beautiful story of the Qiantang River, which is enough to prove the charm of the Haining Tide. The statue is lifelike and vividly depicts the expressions of scholars watching the tide.
Before the tide came, the river was always exceptionally calm, and everyone patiently waited together. In no time, the tide rolled from a distance, initially a white line that widened. At this moment, everyone's mood became excited, and before they could even blink, the tide came to their eyes with lightning speed. The momentum was fierce, as if it had a wild nature that wanted to engulf tourists. It reminded people of the meticulous "Observing the Tide". "From afar, it was like a silver line; but as it approached, the Yucheng Snow Ridge came from the sky, loud as thunder, shocking and shooting, swallowing the sky and fertile sun, with great momentum." "Xiong Hao", if not seen with one's own eyes, must feel like exaggeration.
Haining has been known for its tidal culture since ancient times. In the face of the "first line of tide" that stretches across the vast sea, any spring mood seems pale and powerless. The shock that hits the brain from the pupils is irresistible for a long time, and colleagues in the same industry were so excited that they screamed. However, this is not yet the most ferocious moment of the tide. It is said that the highest tide reaches 3.7 meters, with a tidal range of 8-9 meters. "On August 18th, the tide is magnificent and unparalleled in the world." That's all.
