Travel. Preface
Since ancient times, Jiangnan has been known for its talented and beautiful people,
The prosperous water town is renowned for its advanced education.
Jiangnan is a place where people are outstanding, with clear mountains and beautiful waters,
Especially the small bridges and flowing water in Jiangnan, as well as the lakes, make up the picturesque scenery of Jiangnan.
I don't know how long I haven't gone out to relax,
Combined with the sudden outbreak of the epidemic this year, our pace of travel has slowed down.
Finally, I have time to embark on a spontaneous trip.
This time, driving a SAIC Volkswagen RV, I went to Jiangnan to search for that poetic and picturesque feeling.
Have a stick of ice, do you feel like summer.

Due to the large number of people this time and the fact that we had never tried a motorhome before, we chose to rent a motorhome from SAIC Volkswagen and drive it on a trip to Jiaxing.
The RV we rented is quite large, with three beds and can accommodate up to five people, so basically there is no pressure for a few friends to travel together. Moreover, this RV only requires a C1 driver's license to drive, and all of our friends have a driver's license, so we take turns driving on the road without any pressure.
Although it's my first time driving an RV and I'm a bit uncomfortable, I just need to drive more.
Historical and Cultural Block, Experience the Prosperity of Jiangnan City
Speaking of Jiangnan, it is a prosperous land of fish and rice, with small bridges and flowing water, and bluestone roads. Today, follow my footsteps and enter the Yuehe Historical District to experience the charm of Jiangnan's water town. The Yuehe Historical District is located near Zhongji Road in Nanhu District, Jiaxing. In the past, it was the most prosperous place for industry and commerce in Jiaxing.
At night, we checked into the Yuehe Inn, which is only one step away from the Yuehe Scenic Area. After packing our luggage, we took our camera to search for the night view of Yuehe Street. Passing through a small alley, you will see the Yuehe Historical District in front of you. The entire block covers an area of 90000 square meters, which can be said to be one of the most complete, largest, and most reflective of the residential and cultural characteristics of Jiangnan water towns in Jiaxing.
At the beginning of the night, the lights on Yuehe Street slowly lit up, creating a bustling scene. Many tourists would order a cup of coffee and sit by the river, quietly enjoying the charm of this ancient street. I am no exception. I ordered a cup of coffee and watched the bustling night, as well as the sound coming from the bar, outlining the unique night scenery of the ancient street.
Within the neighborhood, traditional residential buildings are built along the water, with ancient streets and deep alleys winding and crisscrossing; Rivers, ancient bridges, narrow alleys, old residential buildings, corridors, and sheds have restored and showcased a strong water town and ancient city style, with numerous century old brands reflecting the prosperity of Jiaxing's "Jiangnan City" in the past.
The ancient street has a long history. For over 1700 years, the Grand Canal of Beijing and Hangzhou has passed through the southern side of the Yuehe Historical Block, with countless lights on both sides of the canal and official boats and boats shuttling back and forth, creating a bustling commercial scene. As a famous bustling city in the history of Jiaxing, the Yuehe Historical District has become a rare golden investment platform in the urban area.
The Yuehe block is based on the parallel layout of the "Three Rivers and Three Streets" - the "Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal", "Outer Moon River", and "Inner Moon River" are basically parallel and converge near Beili Bridge, making its spatial layout highly distinctive; The three streets of Zhongji Road, Tannong, and Xiushuidou Street have become bustling commercial areas due to their proximity to the canal and the capital city. On both sides of Zhongji Road in the past, there were numerous shops and merchants gathering, creating a bustling scene.
The small alleys and streets are winding and crisscrossing, with small rivers and narrow alleys, old residential buildings, etc., restoring and showcasing a strong water town and ancient city style. Within the scenic area, there are six major venues including Jiangxi Guild Hall, Jinyu Courtyard, Dachang Pawnshop, Jiahe Shuiyi, Gaogongsheng Sauce Garden, and Caishen Hall. As you explore the old style of Jiangnan Prefecture and experience the bustling tourist destination of a century old time-honored brand.
In fact, Yuehe is a tributary of the canal, named after its curved water that embraces the city like the moon. Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Yuehe area has formed a bustling street market. Here, small rivers, ancient bridges, narrow alleys, old residential buildings, corridors, and sheds showcase a strong water town and ancient city charm. A bustling yet simple commercial street, accompanied by a small river and an ancient bridge, bustling with bustling sales, seems to recreate the lively scene of the past.
Especially at night, when I see the red lantern hanging on the ancient house by the river, taking advantage of the pitch black night, I feel so beautiful. The ancient street is open and does not charge admission fees. The hotels here are very cheap, and there is also a flower and bird market where you can take a stroll.
Tip:
1. Transportation: Located in the Yuehe Historical District of Nanhu District, you can take the dedicated bus from Wenquan Town to Qingchi Wenquan and get off at the Yuehe Historical District Station.
2. Admission: Admission to the neighborhood is free, and some scenic spot fees are included in the 110 yuan joint ticket for Yuehe and Nanhu.
3. Opening hours
08:00-17:00 (Monday Sunday, April 1st to October 31st)
08:00-16:30 (November 1st - March 31st Monday Sunday of the following year)
After strolling through the Moon River, we checked into the Moon River Inn, which is located next to the scenic area and is a 5-minute walk away, very convenient.
When it comes to Meihuazhou, what comes to mind? There is such a scenic spot in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, located in Fengqiao Town, Nanhu District, Jiaxing City, which is the birthplace of Majiabang Culture, Songze Culture, and Liangzhu Culture. Meihuazhou is mainly an antique scenic area with Ming and Qing architecture as the main focus. It has just been developed, and the streets are clean and tidy with relatively few tourists, making it very suitable for visitors to visit.
After reconstruction, the original "Eight Scenic Spots of Plum Blossom Island", including the Vajra cypress, Bodhi tree, Yijian Spring, Four Buddha Stones, Plum Blossom Island, Qinglian Pond, Xianghua Bridge, and Baiyun Qiu, have been restored to their original appearance. The Majiabang culture, Songze culture, and Liangzhu culture sites are showcased in a concentrated manner, along with the 1500 year old Shifo Temple, the millennium old ginkgo tree spanning over 1300 years, the three step two valve bridge spanning over 1250 years, and the Ming and Qing dynasties old houses that record over 300 years of history. These splendid cultural landmarks have left Fengqiao Town with a unique Jiangnan cultural landscape.
Meihua Island is very large, so how do you come here to play? In fact, like many other ancient towns, the scenic area is built along the river with ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the five petal land is traversed by bridges, which is very characteristic of Jiangnan. You can walk along the street and stroll around the houses on the roadside, leisurely and comfortable. Entering through the gate, the ancient buildings on both sides exude a sense of antiquity. Stepping on the cobblestone road, it feels as if one has traveled back to ancient times. In addition to strolling, there are also many intangible cultural heritage activities to experience in the scenic area, such as Ling painting and making chi cakes.
The first stop is to experience painting South Lake Linghua. Nanhu Ling is a famous specialty of Jiaxing, named after its emerald green skin and round horns without thorns, and is known as the "Yuanbao Ling". The South Lake Linghua is handmade by folk artist Yan Chengrong, a specialty of Jiaxing. The South Lake Fengling is painted on it, showcasing the rich and distinctive water scenery of Jiaxing on the South Lake Linghua. The picture is crystal clear, elegant, and lifelike. The South Lake Linghua has become an exquisite and distinctive art piece. Under the careful guidance of the teacher, after slowly depicting, I finally finished the Ling painting, and my heart was filled with a sense of pride in an instant.
After experiencing hand drawn diamond paintings, we arrived at the place where we made chi gao for the second stop. Next, we will make chi gao ourselves, and you can also take the chi gao you made yourself. The teacher will first introduce the steps of making chi gao, and then you can operate it yourself. Chigao is made by grinding glutinous rice into powder and then using a template to make it. In the middle, bean paste is added, and after making it, it is steamed in a steamer. The freshly baked Chigao is very sticky and delicious.
In addition to experiencing intangible cultural heritage activities, the most worthwhile place to visit in the scenic area is the Shifo Temple. The ancient Shifo Temple, which was built in the Southern Dynasty, has a lingering bell sound, and one can often see believers who come here for meditation, adding a touch of Buddhist meditation. Another thing is the two thousand year old ginkgo trees near the temple, which have lush branches and leaves. These two ginkgo trees have a history of more than 1200 years and are divided into eastern and western apricots. In autumn, the ginkgo trees turn yellow and complement the stone Buddha from a distance. They are truly beautiful and a major attraction in the scenic area.
Then you can go to the agricultural base in the scenic area to experience picking. There are some seasonal fruits that can be picked, but they need to be paid separately, which is very suitable for taking children to experience. At noon, you can also taste authentic ground pot chicken and roasted wild rice here. Ground pot chicken is your own free range farmhouse chicken, and wild rice is also Jiaxing's specialty rice, which is very delicious and worth tasting.
Millennium Ginkgo biloba remains independent from the world; Fragrant Flower Corridor Bridge Flowing Fragrant Dreams; The pink walls, Dai tiles, and Lan Jing pavilions depict the timeless charm of the abundant water in Jiangnan, reproducing three hundred years of Chinese sentiment. This is the Plum Blossom Continent.
While inheriting the charm of Jiangnan, it also reproduces the simplicity and leisure of life in the Jiangnan small town in memory. Cultivating oneself, nurturing one's character, and living a calm life will become a new symbol of life in the new Jiangnan water town. Do you like this kind of plum blossom island?
Jiaxing's historic old street is named after the cultivation of plum blossoms
After strolling through Meihuazhou, we arrived at Meiwan Street, a historic old street in Jiaxing. This is a street with a long history in Jiaxing, where many old houses were renovated and now it has become a cultural and architectural old street similar to Xitang Ancient Town. It is said that in ancient times, people planted plum blossoms here, and it was named after its proximity to the bend of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal.
In addition to the Old Street, there are also many former residences of famous figures here, such as Shakespeare's translator Zhu Shenghao, the Chairman of the Provisional Government of South Korea during the Anti Japanese War - Jin Ju, the famous hydraulic engineer of China - Wang Huzhen, and the outstanding patriotic figure of China - Shen Junru, and so on.
Meiwan Street is an area in Jiaxing where traditional local residences are relatively concentrated, preserving a large number of historical relics such as the former residence of Shakespeare's great translator Zhu Shenghao. The design style of the whole Meiwan Street is based on the architectural form of Jiangnan residential buildings in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, with black bricks and black tiles, gatehouses and windows, and carved beams and painted rafters.
The completed Meiwan Street Historical and Cultural Leisure Block is divided into five main street areas: Meiwan Food City, Meiwan Ancient Street, Meiwan Commercial Street, Meiwan Xintiandi and Meiwan Commercial Mansion.
In addition to strolling through the historical and cultural district, Meiwan Street also offers the opportunity to visit the former residences of celebrities. Our first stop was Zhu Shenghao's former residence. Zhu Shenghao is a modern Shakespearean drama translator and poet in China.
In 1943, Zhu Shenghao began his career as a translator of Shakespearean dramas on this building. On December 26, 1944, after translating 31 out of 37 Shakespeare plays, he passed away due to illness at the age of 32. Madam Song Qingru followed Zhu Shenghao to complete the translation work of "Henry VI" and other works. This used to be the room where Zhu Shenghao and his wife lived.
The second stop is at Jinjiu Shelter, which was once a place where the interim government chairman of South Korea, Kim Ju, sought refuge in Jiaxing during the Anti Japanese War. It is now open to the public for free. This place is south of Southwest Lake. In case of any accidents, Mr. Jin Jiu can jump onto a small boat anchored here and transfer by waterway. The Jinjiu Refuge was originally the residence of Chen Tongsheng, and to the east is the residence of Mr. Chen Tongsheng's brother. It has now been opened as a special exhibition room for "Jinjiu in Jiaxing".
The third stop is at the former residence of Shen Junru, who is an outstanding patriotic figure and one of the founders of the Democratic League in China. The former residence is a Qing Dynasty building, covering an area of 2100 square meters. On the central axis, there are front doors, ceremonial doors, halls, gates, and halls, with wing rooms on both sides.
The exhibition hall showcases Mr. Shen Junru's glorious journey from being a Jinshi born in the imperial examination to becoming a great democrat and then an outstanding non party communist soldier. In addition, the memorial hall also houses over 700 relics of Mr. Shen Junru.
After strolling through the historical old street of Jiaxing, we arrived at Fanli Lake Park, which is right next to the old street. You can take a stroll, but the park is not very big, and it takes about an hour and a half to finish.
Fanli Lake is located near the Second Bridge on Huancheng South Road in Jiaxing. Originally, the lake was wide, and some have verified that Nanhu was also a part of Fanli Lake. Later, it became a small lake due to the construction of the city. Its predecessor was Chengnan Park, which was built in 1998. Later, it was renamed Fanli Lake Park due to the nearby Fanli Lake and expanded.
This is a historical site during the Wu and Yue dynasties. It is said that after Fan Li helped King Goujian of Yue overcome the shame of Xue Kuaiji, he went boating on the Five Lakes with Xi Shi as a hermit. The most famous one in the park is Xishi's dressing table. The park is famous for its water scenery. According to legend, Xishi would wash her makeup every day, pour her makeup and powder into the lake, and snails would become colorful. Therefore, the lake produces colorful snails.
According to legend, the main buildings in the park, such as Xishi Makeup Platform, Tongyue Pavilion, Shangsheng Temple, Wangyue Tower, Mingyuan Hall, and Chenyu Pavilion, are the focus, forming a landscape axis. On this basis, corresponding leisure and entertainment facilities are equipped, such as wisteria flower racks, Taozhu Pavilion, sports fields, children's playgrounds, etc. From March to April every year, cherry blossoms and begonia bloom in the park, attracting many tourists to take photos.
During the Song Dynasty, Zhang Yao also wrote a poem: "Shao Bo once resided here, with threads and colorful threads, and a beautiful autumn mirror that could still reflect on Xishi." Fan Li Lake was once known as the Xishi Tomb, and it is said that Xishi died here. He was buried in the lake, and during the Qing Dynasty, Zhu Yizun wrote a poem for him: "In the third month of falling flowers, Xishi was buried, and in the lonely corner of the city, Fan Li Temple. The five colors of snails were passed down from the bottom of the water, and a thousand threads of nets were hung in the air by the lake.".
On the northwest bank of the lake, there is also a Water Pavilion, also known as the Xishi Makeup Platform, which is a beam lifting style building on the top of the Xie Mountain. Inside, there are original statues of Fan Li and Xishi, and there are still two stone plaques on the walls of the Taipei Makeup Tower, namely the "Fan Shaobo Temple" and the "Floating Blue".
The Xishi Makeup Platform is separated by a path from Jinmingjiao Temple. Jinming Temple was first built in the first year of the Kaixi reign of the Southern Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the first year of the Zhengtong reign of the Ming Dynasty. At that time, there were three main halls and more than 10 walking corridors, among which the Hutianhaiyue Pavilion was one of the "Five Lakes and Four Seas" of Jiaxing. There is still a main hall, which is a gable roof building. "Chuanyi Xuexiu" and "Xi Shi Dressing" are displayed in the hall.
Santa Road, see the most beautiful ginkgo leaves
Autumn is the season of falling leaves, and the most beautiful autumn scenery in Jiaxing in November is undoubtedly on Santa Road. Every autumn, what Jiaxing people are most concerned about is the yellowing of Ginkgo biloba on Santa Road? So this time in Jiaxing, you must come to Santa Road to take a look at the yellow market. However, due to the hot climate this year, the ginkgo biloba in Santa Road in November is not very yellow, and it is estimated that it will turn all yellow in a few days.
Autumn is the season of abundant harvest and the most beautiful time. In order to create the most beautiful landscape roads, many big cities have implemented the "no sweeping of fallen leaves" policy. On some fallen leaf landscape roads in the city, no sweeping of fallen leaves is allowed to present the most beautiful natural landscape in the most beautiful season. The Three Pagoda Road in Jiaxing also implements a policy of not sweeping fallen leaves, in order to provide a more beautiful atmosphere for tourists who come to take photos.
In fact, the road of Santa Road is not wide and has curves. The ginkgo trees on both sides have grown for many years and are lush with branches and leaves, making it the favorite of photography enthusiasts in Jiaxing. Whether professional or non professional, they all like to come here to take photos. Picking up their phones and clicking on a few photos is all beautiful, let alone in the lens of a professional photographer, they don't know how beautiful it must be.
The ginkgo leaves on both sides are shining with sunlight, adding golden color to the land of Three Pagodas, which is full of historical heritage, making it breathtaking. Since the implementation of the policy of not sweeping leaves, Santa Road has become a popular road in the eyes of Jiaxing citizens. Every day, many tourists and citizens come to take photos, and even newlyweds who take wedding dresses like to come here to take photos.
Here, you can not only enjoy the rich colors of late autumn, but also experience the beauty of withered leaves, as thick as residual lotus, listening to the sound of falling leaves.
After seeing the ginkgo leaves on Santa Road, one cannot miss the nearby Santa Park. There are three Jiaxing Pagodas in the park, located on the banks of the Jinghang Gu Yun River outside the west gate of Jiaxing, in front of the original Cha Chan Temple. The pagoda was first built in the Tang Dynasty, and all three pagodas are nine story brick pagodas. The middle one is slightly higher, about 15 meters, and there is no ladder to climb inside the pagoda. Each wall is embedded with iron relief Buddha statues, decorated in white, black, and red colors.
According to the "Jiahe Zhi", there is a White Dragon Pond here. The water is deep and the current is fast, and many boats have drowned in it. People speculate that "there is a white dragon stirring up wind and waves in the pond, so they transport soil to fill the pond and build three towers to stabilize it." Tang Jizang went to the clouds, transported soil to fill the pond, and built three towers to "stabilize the white dragon in the pond.".
The tower is a brick tower with a rich traditional architectural style, beautiful in appearance and pleasing to the eye. Due to its rigorous and scientific structure, although it has gone through thousands of years of historical turmoil, it still stands tall today, which is enough to demonstrate the wisdom and wisdom of ancient working people in architectural science and art.
The Three Pagodas face the river and are backed by the city. In ancient times, when the boat saw the Three Pagodas from afar, it sailed cautiously, and the Pagodas actually served as navigational aids. On the 16th day of the third lunar month, there are also traditional Han ethnic cultural activities such as taking a white boat. Those who are interested can come and take a look.
One of the three famous lakes in Jiangnan, even Qianlong stopped and stopped several times
When it comes to lakes in Jiangnan, it is worth mentioning Jiaxing South Lake. Not only is it on par with Nanjing Xuanwu Lake and Hangzhou West Lake, but it is also known as the three famous lakes in Jiangnan. So, follow my footsteps to explore Jiaxing South Lake.
Jiaxing South Lake is located in the South Lake District of Jiaxing. The main stream of the Jiaxing section of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through Beili Bridge, Chengbei Bridge, and Xili Bridge, and is divided into two streams. One stream flows eastward into Southwest Lake, while the other stream flows westward into the canal. Xiushui passes through the Hao River in the surrounding area and flows into South Lake. It is formed by the confluence of various canals in the canal, carrying a long pond and a sea salt pond, and discharging into Pinghu Pond and Changxian Pond. The terrain around Nanhu Lake is low and flat, with river ports crisscrossing.
In fact, South Lake is still very large, not only with the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan, but also an important revolutionary memorial site in modern Chinese history. The famous site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Red Boat of South Lake, is located on the lake in front of the Yanyu Tower on the island in the center of the lake. So how do you play at Nanhu Lake? In fact, South Lake is an open lake surface, and walking along the lake is free. Only the island in the heart of the lake and some scenic spots are charged.
You can buy a package ticket for 60 yuan, including island and boat fees, as well as attractions such as Huxin Island, Wenshu Beiyuan, and Wuxiang Temple. The cruise ship departs every 20 minutes and takes you around the lake in the order of the attractions. At each scenic spot, you can disembark and explore, and then wait for the next boat to go to the next scenic spot.
There are three docks along the lakeside, usually boarding at Huijing Garden to the east of Nanhu Lake, and visiting Huxin Island, Xiaoyingzhou, and Haogu Pagoda in sequence. Except for the island in the center of the South Lake, which requires taking a boat, the other two are all on the shore. You can swim a whole circle back to your starting point, or end the journey at one of them.
The first stop is to take a boat to the center of South Lake - Huxin Island. In fact, there was no such island originally, but it was formed by the excavation of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal and the accumulation of silt, which gave rise to today's Huxin Island. In the later period, many Jiangnan buildings were gradually built, forming a group of ancient garden buildings mainly composed of Yanyu Tower, pavilions, pavilions, rockeries, corridors, and ancient tree inscriptions, which are arranged in a neat and orderly manner, making it a typical Jiangnan garden.
The most important building on Huxin Island is the Smoke and Rain Tower, named after the poetry of Tang Dynasty poet Du Mu's poem "Four hundred and eighty temples in the Southern Dynasty, many towers amidst the smoke and rain". This was a place where Emperor Qianlong had stopped and stayed multiple times in Jiangnan, making it famous. It is said that the layout of the Little Swallow's Shufang Studio in "Huan Zhu Ge" was arranged according to the Yanyu Tower.
The Yanyu Tower today is no longer the same building as before, but the antique style buildings appear even more beautiful in the surrounding gardens and are still the most worth seeing building on the island. Especially when climbing high and looking far, you can have a panoramic view of the entire South Lake, and your mood will improve.
The lake in front of the Yanyu Tower is the famous site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China - Nanhu Red Boat. Come and see for yourself whether the birthplace of the revolution was very different. The red boat we see now is a later replica and cannot be boarded. We can only take photos from a distance. In addition, there are also the Qianlong Imperial Stele Pavilion, Qinghui Hall, and several small pavilions on the island in the middle of the lake, where you can freely stroll.
The second stop is at the Wu Xiang Temple, which was mainly built to commemorate Wu Zixu. Entering the gate of the Wu Xiang Temple, you will face the Wu Xiang Hall with a plaque inscribed with the four characters "Spring and Autumn Righteousness". The front of the main hall is a copper cast square cauldron, with bell and drum towers on both sides. Copper cast bells and drums are placed separately, with an ancient and fragrant appearance. The corridor walls on both sides of the temple courtyard are embedded with shadow carvings of Wu Zixu's life.
The Gougu Pagoda inside the Wu Xiang Temple is a landmark building in the South Lake scenic area. Many tourists come here by boat from the island in the middle of the lake, climb onto the Gougu Pagoda, and overlook the green trees, weeping willows, pavilions, and bridges in the South Lake. On one side, there are occasional trains passing by, and you can also have a distant view of Jiaxing City, with a wide view.

Ecological organic farm, creating harmonious coexistence between humans and nature
Liangrou Icelandic means nourishment. There is an organic farm in Xitang, where a group of organic experts who hold a passion for the land and understand professional farming methods gather. They irrigate the land with enthusiasm and receive the most beautiful rewards from the land.
Entering the organic farm in Liangrong, Xitang, you will find that it nourishes your body and mind with 365 days of slow living. Coming to the farm not only allows you to experience farming and picking, but also cultivates a pursuit of aesthetic life and a belief in respecting the land.
Many people may think that being organic is just a dietary habit, but in fact, it is not only a way of life and attitude, but also the first ideal destination for leisure vacations. I think this is what Liangliang Organic Farm can bring us.
Not only are there flowers, vegetables, fruit trees, ecological pools, as well as amphibians, birds, and wildlife here, but you can also understand the basic knowledge of nature's ecological cycle. Liangliang combines the experience of organic agriculture culture with the aesthetics of life, creating a garden for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
Entering from the main entrance, the first thing that catches your eye is the Liangliang Organic Manor, which has a large area of roses and is said to have over 20 varieties. Many people may mistakenly think it's a rose, but in fact it's not, but it really looks very similar.
Passing through the rose garden and walking forward, you come to the cauliflower garden, which is a farmland for vegetable cultivation. It mainly grows 10 types of crops, including tomatoes, water spinach, leafy vegetables, sweet potato leaves, lettuce, spinach, chrysanthemum, sesame, green vegetables, bitter chrysanthemum, oilseed, chives, chili peppers, as well as more than 10 types of root and stem crops such as radish, cabbage, and cauliflower.
The vegetables in the Huacai Garden are mainly supplied as vegetable ingredients for the Liangrang Hotel, as well as for guests to experience picking. If you have enough time, you can really experience the feeling of picking in the field. My little brother and I experienced digging organic sweet potatoes, and we never expected that a sweet potato could bear so many fruits. It was really surprising.
A 40 acre organic flower and vegetable garden not only allows you to experience picking, but also the aesthetics of life. In addition to growing vegetables, fruits, flowers, there are also small animal areas, children's play areas, and camping BBQ in the farm, which is really suitable for families and children to experience the fun of picking in the field.
There is also a "Good Soil Meal Car" on the grass in the Flower Garden, where you can enjoy the red cake, organic handmade biscuits, and organic flower tea bubble drink that cannot be found in Xitang. Paired with music flowing in the air, suitable for afternoon time, the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere ensures that you linger and forget to return!
If you have plenty of time, it is really recommended to stay. There is also a Le Muer homestay in the farm, which was once selected as the most beautiful homestay in Xitang. The unique American mixed rural style is very rare in Xitang, but it complements the 40 acre farm and is also popular among friends who love nature.

About Transportation
Jiaxing is located in the eastern region of China, with a superior geographical location and close proximity to Shanghai, making transportation very convenient. The plane can fly directly to Shanghai or Hangzhou, and then take a high-speed train over. Alternatively, there is a direct high-speed rail service, which can take you to Jiaxing South Station.
Jiaxing has had numerous delicious foods since ancient times, with a sweet taste that may be related to the lifestyle in Jiangnan. Some friends may not be accustomed to eating them. The most famous dish in Jiaxing is Jiaxing meat zongzi, especially represented by Wufangzhai's meat zongzi, which can be tasted. There are also the Eight Bowls in Jiaxing, which are also very famous. We visited and tasted the Eight Bowls at a restaurant called Nanmentou.
