Kunming Xishan Scenic Area
This route is a bit strange... There were several times later that I wondered if I was lost. I began to ask myself why I followed those strangers down this path? And why didn't I go back to the road and follow the signs up the mountain? And why not just take a bus from the visitor center and get up? But it's a little too late to say anything now... If we go back, we have walked too much on the wrong road today, and we might as well grit our teeth and continue moving forward.
First, he walked on the main road up the mountain for more than half an hour. There are tourists like me around me, and some are probably locals who come to climb the mountain in the morning for exercise. While walking, I suddenly saw the sign of Yulan Garden, and I followed the path pointed by the arrow to find the garden. Then he realized that the door was actually locked. The uncle in the hut next door said that the place was temporarily closed. At this time, the group in front of me continued to walk down the path without turning back. I looked up and looked forward. There seemed to be sparkling waves in the distance. Perhaps it was Dianchi Lake? I immediately became excited, and then followed these few people down without hesitation. Tamen should be a group of friends, including men and women, estimated to be around fifty or sixty years old. These few people chatted as they walked, and the pace was very leisurely and slow, so I followed lazily. As I stepped onto a narrow path, the man in front of me stopped and motioned for me to go first. I guess he meant that tamen was walking slowly and didn't want to delay my time. Well, so I passed through his companions and became the one leading the way. Then about twenty minutes later, I couldn't see anyone around me...
The air is very good and the surrounding scenery is good. On one side of the path is a valley, covered with trees and plants I don't recognize, and my eyes are full of lush green.
I continued to move forward, enjoying the breeze, the chirping of birds and the tranquility of the emptiness.
Half an hour passed, and still no one was in my sight. I'm a little panicked at the moment... At this time, I began to hate myself for not analyzing others 'suggestions. I only brought half a bottle of water when I went out today, because the young man I met yesterday told me that there were many water sellers here. This situation may have been true before the epidemic, but too much has changed in 2020. After walking on the road up the mountain for so long, I didn't see anyone selling water. And now we are in this place where we are nowhere in front of us and nowhere in the back... That's really a lesson learned!
Where does this road lead???
Finally, someone is here!
I learned from the tourists I met that due to the epidemic, the only attraction currently open in the Xishan Scenic Area is Longmen. This path is the road leading to Longmen.
After continuing for a while, the surrounding view began to change a little.
Tired and thirsty, when can I get to Longmen? God, turn me into a carp!
When I looked up at a corner of the roof of the house, I couldn't express my excitement...
I finally climbed to the Dragon Gate! Where can I buy water?
I didn't expect such a beautiful coffee shop on the West Mountain! The space is huge and the atmosphere is very literary. The best thing is that there is a large terrace outside.
I had a cup of coffee, had a good rest, and even flipped through a novel
Entering the Longmen Scenic Area
Take the cable car and view Dianchi Lake
The water in Dianchi Lake seems to be a little polluted
Get off the cableway and head for Longmen
It feels a little like Laoshan Mountain, with cliffs and water standing
Finally we have arrived at the legendary Longmen!
Baili Dianchi Lake has a panoramic view
This is a filial cow with a story
I took a battery car down the mountain and then went to visit Nie Er's tomb. I feel sad and sorry for the young death of this musician
The scenery of Xishan Mountain is beautiful, beautiful, majestic, dangerous and strange. It is worth a visit!
