Yunnan is a major tourist province with rich tourism resources, such as snow-capped mountains, glaciers, meadows, canyons, lakes, wetlands, forests, stone forests, earthen forests, volcanic geothermal heat, wildlife, multi-ethnic cultural landscapes, religious temples,...,.
This article mainly shows the beauty of color and light and shadow in Yunnan.
1. Yuanyang Terrace
Yuanyang Terrace, located in the south of Ailao Mountain in Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province, is a masterpiece left by the Hani people for generations. Yuanyang Terrace is the core area of Honghe Hani Terrace. Honghe Hani Terrace is a cultural spectacle of terraced farming created by people of all ethnic groups, mainly Hani, who use special geographical climate to cultivate together. It is large in scale and majestic.
The terraces reclaimed by the Hani people in Yuanyang change with the mountain terrain. Large fields are reclaimed when the slopes are gentle, small fields are reclaimed when the slopes are small, and even the rocks under the ditches are opened. Therefore, the large terraces are several acres, and the small terraces are only the size of a dustpan, often thousands of acres on one slope.
Honghe Hani Terrace is located in southern Yunnan, spread across the four counties of Yuanyang, Honghe, Jinping and Lvchun in Honghe Prefecture, with a total area of about 1 million acres. There are 170,000 acres of terraces in Yuanyang County alone. Yuanyang Terrace is a landscape and pastoral landscape painting that the Hani people have been "carving" endlessly for more than 1300 years. On June 22, 2013 (Guisi year), at the 37th World Heritage Conference, the Red River Hani Terrace was successfully included in the World Heritage List, becoming China's 45th World Heritage Site, making China surpass Spain to become the second largest World Heritage country, second only to Italy.
This is a great place to experience light and shadow.
2. Luoping Huahai
Luoping Huahai generally refers to the spectacular rapeseed flower field in Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. The annual Yunnan Luoping Rape Flower Tourism Festival will allow you to feel the harmony between man and nature and enjoy the picturesque scenery.
The core scenic spot is located in the Jinji Peak Cluster northeast of the county seat. Climbing to Jinji Peak, you can see the endless rapeseed fields, while the lonely peaks slightly further away are pulled up, which only adds to the ups and downs of the picture.
Luositian:
Luoping Luositian is located in Niujie, ten kilometers northwest of Luoping County, Qujing, Yunnan, so it also has the nickname of "Niujie" rapeseed flowers. The terraces here are ring-shaped, which looks like convolutions on screws from a distance.
3. Dongchuan red soil
"Dongchuan Red Land" is located east by north of Kunming City and belongs to Hongtui Town under the jurisdiction of Dongchuan District of Kunming City. The journey from Kunming to the center of the attraction is about 250 kilometers away. The main attractions are between 1800 and 2600 above sea level. The area with a radius of nearly a hundred miles here is the most concentrated, typical and characteristic red land on the Yunnan Red Plateau. Set off by blue sky, white clouds and unpredictable light, it constitutes the spectacular scenery of the red land.
Yunnan is located in a warm and humid environment. The iron in the soil is slowly deposited through oxidation, gradually forming a dazzling color.
From September to December every year, part of the red soil is turned over for planting, and the other part of the red soil has been planted with green highland barley or wheat and other crops. From a distance, it is like color blocks smeared by the sky, with brilliant colors and contrasting blue sky, white clouds and the unpredictable light beams, forming the spectacular scenery of the red soil. The color palette deserves its reputation.
4. Lugu Lake
Lugu Lake is located at the junction of Yunnan Province and Sichuan Province, and is under the jurisdiction of Sichuan and Yunnan.
The Lugu Lake Tourist Scenic Area is surrounded by high mountains, and there is a snow period of more than three months a year. Rich in forest resources, beautiful mountains and rivers, fresh air and charming scenery, Lugu Lake is regarded as the "Mother Lake" by the local Mosuo people. It is also known as the "Penglai Wonderland".
