The purpose of writing this travel note is to commemorate my first self-driving trip with Mr. Chen. This trip to Kunming was the only two of us, hand in hand, walking and stopping in a strange city; going to the rugged mountains and forests to experience the natural wilderness; Eat a bowl of chicken soup rice noodles in the ancient town late at night; share a fresh flower cake; Sanjia Village with steep slopes, the beautiful scenery, and his careful care for me along the way. The real definition of travel in my mind is to go with the times and do not need to plan. When I arrive at a place, I can eat whatever I want, and go wherever I want to go. Therefore, I didn't make an itinerary plan before I came, but I just followed a heart yearning for freedom. This trip is a journey with my heart and may miss many excellent treasures, but traveling is not about checking in, just to please yourself ~

Dianchi Lake is a major business card for Kunming's travel. In the morning, you can see the beauty of Spring City in the face of the sun. Most of the buildings near Dianchi Lake are villas or small bungalows. The floors are not too high. The mist is hazy in the morning, setting off the sun, like the sleepy eyes of a beautiful woman.

Aerial photography of the nearby Seaview Avenue is full of blue waves and boundless. Several colorful boats are floating quietly on the lake, calm and the water and sky are in the same color. The air of Kunming is mixed with the rich fragrance of osmanthus. This beautiful smell has filled the nostrils from the moment we landed. The sweetness that cannot be ignored makes the mood particularly bright ~

Dianchi Haigeng Park

Accompanied by the beautiful scenery of Dianchi Lake in the early morning, we followed the 2020 BJ40 Urban Hunter version of the car navigation system to Dianchi Lake Haigeng Park. Haigeng Park is an urban park and is a good place for local people to relax and entertain. In addition to painting pavilions, stone boats, sea-viewing corridors, and lush green lawns, you can also see gorgeous cherry blossoms forests and tens of millions of seagulls flying in winter and spring. You will see that the harmonious romance between man and nature is extremely reflected here.

Walking on the embankment by the pool and looking at the lake in the distance shining in the sun, like a galaxy projected onto the world, it always reminds me of the word 'golden years'. There are cleaning boats on the lake that salvage garbage. Because of such a group of people, Dianchi Lake is kept as beautiful as ever.

When you come to Dianchi Lake, you must go to the glass plank road where Internet celebrities check in. The glass plank road is built in the middle of the lake, and the check-in point at the entrance is quite nice to take photos. The coastal customs are mixed with a little childlike innocence.

When you reach the sky of Internet celebrities, you will first cross such a bridge of ocean elements. There are starfish, jellyfish, whale and other patterns on the ground. Children will definitely like it ~

Walking through the glass bridge, you will reach the best photo position. You need to queue up to take photos. The mirror is projecting blue skies and white clouds. The real sky is probably like this!

I couldn't escape the custom to queue up to check in. Unfortunately, there were so many people and the photographers were rushing him. It only took less than a minute for one person. If I didn't think about the style and position in advance, the photos would basically be wasted ~

This was the only spot vacated on the glass plank road. Although it was not very satisfactory, it still left a bright smile in Dianchi Lake and froze the shining appearance of this pool of spring water!

Tips: Admission here is 20 yuan and a small bottle of mineral water will be given as a gift. In addition, when walking in the sun at noon, the ultraviolet rays here are strong, so you have to wear sunscreen, sun hats, and sunglasses, otherwise you will easily get sunburned.

On the way out of the garden, I saw two eucalyptus trees growing together. Locals call them the "Lianli Strange Case". One tree is beautiful and straight, and the other is rough and powerful. The two eucalyptus trees are connected with each other and have green shades. It is very touching and affectionate.

There is a small garden at the entrance of the park, where many pigeons are raised, and many check-in points are set up. Tickets are 10 yuan. It's not bad to take photos, but more people like to feed the pigeons with corn kernels. The children have a great time ~

New Museum of Yunnan Province

It is said that if you want to get to know a city quickly, you should visit its museums. So, I walked into the new Yunnan Province Museum.

I drove directly into the museum park. Although I couldn't park my car on the square, the side angle was also very good. The new museum is connected to Guangfu Road in the north, Baoxiang River in the west, Yunnan Grand Theater in the east, and Jihong Road in the south. It is open all around, giving a complete and solemn visual impact both from the street scene and the riverside landscape. As a landmark building in Kunming City, it doesn't make sense without a card ~

The exterior color of the new building is red copper, reflecting the reputation of Yunnan as the "Kingdom of Nonferrous Metals"; the long and narrow seam shape that runs through multiple layers is also like a "stone forest", containing the weathered appearance of the stone forest and exuding a natural style. Looking at it, the Yunnan Grand Theater is also a dazzling presence in Kunming! Dounan Flower Market is evidence of Kunming's title as Spring City. Walking into this flower market, you will find a dazzling array of flowers and green plants, and the feelings of a girl in your heart will explode unconsciously. Kunming's flowers are not only diverse and colorful, but also cheap. Walking through the flower market, all kinds of flowers intertwine, and people naturally become soft ~

The flowers here are cheap. You can buy a bunch of sunflowers for five yuan, and you can bring home a large handful of stars for ten yuan. You can even buy 4 flowers for ten yuan when you encounter a grandma and grandfather who don't have a stall. I always think that if Chongqing had such cheap flowers, then the happiness index of our lives should be improved a lot ~

Before he left, Mr. Chen bought a bunch of sunflowers for me. In fact, he still wanted to buy a lot, including mosquito repellent, hydrangea, and fragrance... Unfortunately, I still had a schedule and couldn't take care of them on the road, so I had to take away this bunch of sunflowers, and hope that our lives and future will be like it, all the way to the sun!

Guandu ancient town

As one of the famous historical and cultural towns in Kunming, Guandu was once an ancient ferry in central Yunnan, but now it is a tourist attraction! From a distance, the grand archway is dazzling and magnificent. There are many cultural monuments and rich cultural landscapes here, gathering the five mountains, six temples, seven pavilions, and eight temples from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing periods.

Although some historical and cultural monuments in Guandu Ancient Town were damaged, important parts of the remains have been preserved. The courtyard walls in the ancient town made of snail shells and clay are still alive in the world. It is already valuable that century-old earthen houses still exist.

Many people say that the ancient town has long lost its charm and its commercialization is too obvious. However, it is because of the existence of commercialization that we can see so many smells of fireworks from the world. The folk craftsmen who paint sugar figures, after a few hours of hard work, a little sugar figure emerged, and the lifelike appearance is really cute.

There are also small street vendors in the roadside night market and various specialty shops with ethnic customs. Parking the car on the roadside, I found that there were many fishing friends around. The Sanjiacun Reservoir is the protected water source here. There are neat rows of metasequoia trees planted around the reservoir. I heard that they change colors with the seasons. A group of water ducks were swimming around on the lake, particularly leisurely! There are also several reservoir algae removal workers working on the water surface, and it is up to them to maintain the health of the reservoir waters. Nowadays, the reservoir dam is surrounded with iron fences, which is said to prevent safety hazards and also to protect the health of the waters.

Sanjia Village is densely forested. You can reach Qipanshan National Forest Park by following the reservoir dam towards the top of the mountain. Unfortunately, time is limited and no time is reserved for playing.

Tips: Qipanshan National Forest Park has beautiful scenery. Tickets are only 10 yuan. You can also drive in by car. If you have enough time, I recommend everyone to come.

Minghuagu

Minghua Valley is near Sanjiacun Reservoir. You can drive directly to the entrance of Huagu Garden. This is a beautiful manor for leisure, entertainment, tourism and sightseeing. The park has beautiful scenery and fresh air. The entire mountain is covered with flowers. At this time of year, there are a large sea of roses, lavender and sunflowers ~

Tips: Admission to Minghua Valley is 10 yuan. It is very big inside. It is an unlimited visit ~

The most famous thing here is the mountain rhododendron sea. Unfortunately, the rhododendron flowering period has passed, leaving only a forest of green shade.

After a short walk up the mountain, you can see the rose fields. The colorful roses are so beautiful. Walking and stopping among the flowers, taking photos is probably a girl's favorite way! About accommodation Yuleju National Cultural Park

During this trip, we stayed in Leju Ethnic Cultural Park, a unique and stylish B & B in Xishan District. The Cultural Park is located next to Leju Ancient Village, Tuanjie Township, Kunming. It is built on the mountain and integrates Yi culture, Bai culture and local culture.

The car can be driven into the yard. I parked the car at the entrance of Ajiazi Courtyard. The road is spacious and the environment is quiet.

Leju National Cultural Park is a courtyard form with a garden-like landscape design. Walking through it, you can see one scene at a time. There is a floating restaurant, a bar combining Chinese and Western styles, an infinite swimming pool, and a calligraphy studio. It is elegant, unique and full of charm.

The owner of the B & B is a sentimental person. Only a few houses have been built in the huge Leju National Cultural Park, with a total of more than ten guest rooms. Tips: Although Kunming is a spring city, the temperature difference is still not small. The air conditioners in most B & Bs have no cooling effect. Remember to ask before booking!

I also ate the local Internet celebrity seafood restaurant-Laoji Oyster House in Xishan District. The 226 double set meal and 20 oversized oysters. We couldn't finish them all. The delicious raw oysters are really delicious with specially prepared dipping ingredients. There are also scallion oil powder, small yellow croaker, and stewed chicken feet, all of which are very delicious.
