Shilin became one of the first batch of world geoparks in February 2004. It mainly consists of large and small stone forests, Naigu stone forests, Changhu, Dadieshui and other parks. It includes 105 geological relics sites. It is the named place for the "Shilin" landform and is also China's most representative one of the three major karst landforms. The stone forest represents a unique landform on the earth and is a representative area in the world where the stone forest landform reflects regional geological evolution since the late Paleozoic. Yimeng Mountain became a World Geopark in April 2019. It mainly consists of Mengshan Park, Diamond Park, Daigu Park, Menglianggu Park and Yunmeng Lake Park. There are 44 geological relics sites, including China's earliest kimberlite-type diamond primary ore. It is also the naming place of the Daigu landform.
