Stone Forest is not far from Kunming. It's very good to take the children to play during the holidays. Because I have been to the Big Stone Forest before, I chose to go to the park and the Ice and Snow Ocean World in the future.

The entire scenic spot consists of several major parts: Shilin Karst Geological Research Museum, Crawling Time and Space Theme Park and Future Treasures Three Palaces. Each venue is worth a visit.

The eight districts of the Shilin Karst Geological Research Museum introduce many interesting geological phenomena and resources in detail. There are tour guides on site to explain, but the text introduction before looking at the exhibits is also very clear. Strange stones and ebony, ancient marine creatures, gemstones and colored stones, and many geological resources and biological fossils that have not been seen before are eye-opening.

Children are more interested in the Crawling Time and Space Theme Park, where they can observe lizards up close. If they are interested, they can also gently touch the more docile lizards. The luminescent stone part is also very interesting. The luminescent ore made into volcanic eruptions and towers is very shocking.

Ice and Snow Ocean World

The Ice and Snow Ocean World we went to in the afternoon. The two attractions were in the same direction and it was easy to move around.

Shilin Ice and Snow Ocean World also covers a large area, with indoor ski resorts, snow scenery parks, Ocean World, Royal Circus, etc.

Ocean World has more than a dozen ocean themes. It uses models and technological means to show the ocean landscape of ancient times, see creatures with water depths below 200 meters, and there are also beautiful undersea tunnels to observe the creatures inside up close.

This part of the Ice and Snow Kingdom has the largest indoor skiing in the country, with all-weather ice and snow entertainment all year round. Enjoy the ultra-long slides, extremely fast slides, more than ten interactive rides, and various ice sculptures.

There are also wonderful circus performances and science museums, etc., which are particularly exciting.
