November 20, 2020
2020 is really a difficult year. Travel plans at the beginning of the year have been delayed again and again due to the epidemic. Work and life are tight. In the blink of an eye, the end of the year has arrived. On a certain weekend in November, I can no longer suppress the seeds in my heart that I want to go out and play, so I called friends, packed my bags, and embarked on a journey to Kunming.
In fact, the purpose of this trip is very clear, which is to come out to relax, relax, eat, and have fun with friends, and throw away all the depressed state of 2020.
I booked a flight in the evening and arrived at Kunming Changshui Airport at 10 p.m.. I hurriedly picked up my luggage and caught the last airport bus (fortunately I was resourceful and asked the hotel customer service in advance on Ctrip for the airport bus time). I got off the bus at Xiyi Hotel, called a taxi, and arrived at the hotel in about 10 minutes. I had heard that Kunming was like spring all year round, and when I came, I realized that Kunming also has winter, and I was shivering.
This time I booked a Youth Hostel. Because it was my first time staying in a Youth Hostel, I was afraid of stepping into a trap. I specially read the online recommendations and went to Ctrip to select it. I screened Kunming Youth Hostel and ranked very high-Kunming Qingcheng International Youth Hostel. It has been an old shop for more than ten years. I heard that it was quite popular among foreigners before. I remembered someone telling me that judging a Youth Hostel depends on its reputation in the eyes of foreigners. After all, Youth Hostel is also spread from abroad.(Later, I went to booking and checked the online rating, which was 8.9, which was really good.)
The front desk is right at the entrance. There are many postcards on the left. I heard from the clerk that they were taken by the boss himself over the years of hiking or traveling. I found a unique cave upstairs. It was a small bar + restaurant. It was past 11 o'clock in the evening. There were not many people and I didn't have much time to take a closer look. I quickly went upstairs and went to sleep (there is an elevator here, which is quite convenient). My friends and I booked a standard room. The room was just right, the bedding was very comfortable, the hot water was very strong, and we had a good sleep.
Only when I went downstairs the next day did I realize that I had booked a treasure trip. On the way to the restaurant, I passed a small courtyard. The boss raised a lot of flowers, plants and super cute meat. There were murals on the walls, and the tables and chairs in the courtyard were also colorful and bright. The restaurant is integrated with yesterday's bar, and it is playing soothing blues. By the way, there are so many books, all kinds of books, languages, stories, travel notes, magazines, everything you want. Without saying much, look at the picture ~
After breakfast, I went to the surrounding Cuihu Park (I heard from my hotel friends that the seagulls would be fresher in the morning, hahaha). It was very close and only a few hundred meters on foot. My friend was bolder and took a piece of bread to feed the seagulls. Anyway, I hid far away, so I just had a look ~
After visiting Cuihu, the four streets surrounding the park were full of specialty shops, cafes and bars. We walked around the lake and had a leisurely time. The lunch arrangement is crossing the bridge rice noodles. The New World Yunqian Line is about 1 kilometer away from the hostel, but it feels a little trampled on the thunder. Hahaha, a friend also recommended Shangsit and wholeheartedly recommended it. This time there is no chance, so leave some thoughts for next time ~
The afternoon of the first day was dedicated to Qingcheng. Because I arrived too late and tired the day before, I ordered a cup of coffee in Qingcheng. The sun was just right. I sat in the courtyard and chatted with my friends all afternoon. I also met Xiao Lingzi, Xiao Mirror and Mengmeng. They had a good chat and were happy. This time, the youth travel team chose the right one. It is particularly worth mentioning that it happened to be Saturday and there was a folk song night at night. The little brother playing the guitar was a little handsome.
The next day's arrangement was Yunnan Minzu Village. It took about 30 minutes to take a taxi. It was quite cost-effective to use Hua Xiaozhu to take a taxi. When we went there, there were quite a few people here and it was very large. The cost of the sightseeing bus inside was 50 yuan per person, which was slightly expensive. I can only say that people who like ethnic culture can come and have a look. There will also be specific ethnic cultural performances at certain times. My feeling is that if we want to come, we must explain them, otherwise it will look like we will lose sight and lose hundreds of yuan tickets. My friends and I finished shopping quickly. We took a taxi to Nanping Pedestrian Street after 2 o'clock. This place is like the landmark pedestrian street in every city. There are all brand stores that we should have, so it's a change of place to relax. After the walk, I shook back to the Youth Youth Hostel, which was only more than 1000 meters. Walking back slowly, it felt good. Dinner was served on the recommendation of Miss Qingcheng. It is a Dai food restaurant and delicious. Unfortunately, I forgot its name. If you go to Qingcheng, you can ask their clerk. They all know that there is a stir-fried dish with ground beef grains, which is super... served with rice, but it's hard for my little friend, Xiao Doudou, who has a lot of coriander in it. She doesn't eat coriander.
On the third day, we checked out because we heard that there was a youth hostel that was a sister to Qingcheng, so we couldn't help but want to see it. We took a taxi and drove there for 10 minutes. Kunming Dawei International Youth Hostel. Doesn't the name sound a little interesting? Hahaha, I was attracted when I entered the door. I won't say much, please look at the picture. We were walking closer from the bar next door, and the main color was red, which had a bit of a Tibetan style decoration (my feeling may not be accurate, but that's how I feel). There is a super cute cat. If you look closely, you will find that the color of your eyes and pupils is different. You can see Daji's small courtyard through the bar. There are table tennis tables and billiards tables. I want to play, but unfortunately my teammates are not very helpful. Sigh ~(Fortunately, I met a cute little lady during my stay and played with me, and I passed the addiction). Dazhao's room is surprisingly spacious and bright, as beautiful as the city. There is a large balcony on the third floor where you can bask in the sun and make it comfortable ~
In the afternoon, I went to the surrounding Zhuanxin Farmers 'Market. Did it feel strange to go to the farmers' market? But I heard that there are so many delicious and cheap fruits and snacks here. They live up to their reputation ~ they are so fragrant. First, let's have a thin bean flour rolled flour, and then there's bean pudding rice noodles, rose papaya water, bean flour double happiness, bait nuggets, spicy chicken feet, fried lotus root meatballs, and soy pig's trotters. I want them all. Hahaha, for a foodie, this is the best trip to Kunming. Picture above!
In the evening, I went to Nanqiang Street, which is highly attractive in Kunming. There are also many delicious food here, but it does not have the down-to-earth atmosphere of Zhuan Xin. Hahaha, the night view is good and suitable for shopping. Eating too much in the afternoon makes it a little embarrassing ~
The trip to Kunming was arranged for 4 days. It seemed like I hadn't been anywhere, but I always felt very fulfilling ~(I must have eaten too much. By the way, Dajiao's crossing the bridge rice noodles are also good). The most successful thing was that I chose the right youth hostel and met a group of cute little friends ~~
Two small friends (pretending to be young), 3 days and 3 nights
Stayed in Kunming's best youth hostel (first time in my life)(3 nights, 450 yuan +)
Went to Kunming's largest snack market (Zhuanxin Farmers 'Market, I'll treat it as a snack market)
I have seen the most seagulls in my life-Cuihu Park (there may be more, I haven't gone, I will come next time)(free)
Kunming, I will come again ~
