"Taoism" is an ancient local religion in my country, has a long history and culture, and is also one of the five major religions in the world.
Early Taoism respected "immortals" and worshipped "ghosts and gods", using Huang and Lao Taoist thoughts as their theory.
Such a religious organization was founded by Zhang Daoling and has a history of nearly two thousand years.
The religious doctrine of Taoism is "obeying Tao is the highest virtue, and the unity of man and nature". There are still many branches of Taoist sects, which can be seen in martial arts TV dramas, such as Quan Zhen Sect, Maoshan Taoist priests, etc.!
Nowadays, many Taoist buildings left behind by history are preserved in various parts of China. According to statistics, there are more than 2,000 Taoist temples in China. Of course, there are also some Taoist temples in neighboring countries!
The "dragon vein" refers to undulating mountain ranges, which are shaped like a dragon. In terms of feng shui, especially ancient feng shui, such places are "feng shui treasures."
In Yunnan in the southwest, there is a mountain range that looks like a dragon when viewed from above. It is said among the people in Kunming that this place is the location of the dragon vein. It is the "Changchong Mountain".
Located at the intersection of Changchong Mountain and Longquan Mountain, it is the tomb group of ancient dignitaries in Kunming.
A famous local Taoist temple is located here. The Imperial Teacher of the Ming Dynasty once practiced cultivation here. This place houses the "Longquan Taoist Temple" that evolved from the Han Dynasty shrine.
Known as the first ancient temple in central Yunnan,"Black Dragon Pool Park" is located on the outskirts of Kunming. It has beautiful mountains and rivers and is a Taoist resort in the southwest!
It is located at the junction of Changchong Mountain and Longquan Mountain, which is Kunming's feng shui treasure site. There are two Taoist temples at the top and bottom of the "Black Dragon Palace" and "Longquan Temple".
"Longquan Temple" is located in Shangguan and was built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. It became famous because "Liu Yuanran", the highly respected leader of the Taoist sect in the Ming Dynasty, practiced in this Taoist temple for several years.
This is the restored "Heishui Shrine", which is the predecessor of the Taoist Temple here and was established in the Han Dynasty.
Looking through historical books, you can find records such as "There is a Heishui Temple in Dianchi County, Yizhou Prefecture", which was destroyed several times in the evolution of history.
Since history, there have been two ponds here, one turbid and the other clear, which almost interfered and never dried up all year round. It was later renamed the "Black Dragon Pool".
"Liu Yuanran" was the leader of Taoism in Changchun in the early Ming Dynasty. He was deeply appreciated by Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Di, and was exiled here for offending powerful people.
He practiced cultivation in Longquan Temple for several years until Emperor Renzong of the Ming Dynasty called him back to Beijing and took charge of "Taoist affairs in the world."
After being canonized,"Liu Yuanran" asked the emperor to change the Taoist temple in Kunming to "Longquan Temple", which is still a Taoist temple in Yunnan deeply influenced by Taoist culture.
The second floor on the Longquan Temple is the "Jade Emperor Hall". It is a Taoist deity. The Jade Emperor is the deity who governs the gods. He is upright and sacred and inviolable.
There is a censer standing in front of the Jade Emperor Hall, about three meters high. It is said that on the birthday of the Jade Emperor every year, incense is very popular here.
This third floor is the "Sanqing Hall", the most sacred place in Taoism. It houses the best Taoist gods and is also a must-worship hall for every Taoist temple.
The origin of the name of Sanqing Hall comes from the sacrifices in the hall: Yuqing Yuanshi, Shangqing Lingbao, and Taiqing Daode.
Longquan Temple has been renovated many times over hundreds of years, the most recent one being in 2009. Its repair has been positioned as the highest in the restoration of ancient buildings.
Some of the wall bricks in the Taoist temple still retain some of the original state. In ancient times, it was also a well-known Taoist holy land around it.
Ancient trees are also preserved in the Taoist temple, which are also the treasures of the Taoist temple, such as "Tang Plum, Pine and Pine" and other plants.
"Tangmei" was a "plum tree" planted by a monk in Dali during the Tang Dynasty while traveling around Kunming. It has now died naturally.
