When visiting Kunming, you usually won't miss the stone forest lined with huge rocks. Jiuxiang is also the same magical craftsmanship of nature and the wonders of natural caves.

Jiuxiang Scenic Area is located in Jiuxiang Yi and Hui Township, Yiliang County, Kunming. It is not only a member of the International Cave Association, but also a national key scenic spot. It is mainly dominated by the karst cave landscape.

1. Yincui Gorge

2. Horrifying Gorge

It is the most spectacular underground grand canyon found in the country. It is cut by knives and axes on both sides. It is nearly 100 meters from the bottom of the gorge to the top of the cave. The narrowest part of the gorge is only three or four meters wide. Visitors who walk through it feel thrilling.

3. Lion Hall

--Underground square. The Lion Hall has a total area of 15000 square meters and is the largest underground square hall in the world. It can accommodate tens of thousands of people to have a party here. What's more amazing is that the top of the entire hall is composed of a complete plate with several dimples embedded in the plate. The whirlpool makes the entire top plate seamless.

The Lion Hall also displays the unique eyeless fish here. Due to the depth and darkness of the canyon, all fish have evolved into eyeless fish.

4. Goddess Palace

It is a typical representative of karst underground scenery. The stalactites are exquisitely carved, leaning against or leaning against, sitting or lying, like a group of fairies singing and dancing here, gathering in the palace to compete for wonders, giving people a feeling of being in a fairyland.

5. Male and female waterfalls

--earth-shaking. They are underground double waterfalls. The two waterfalls run up and down from cliffs more than 30 meters high. The pool is more than 10 meters deep. The waterfalls fall straight down and are deafening. The maximum flow rate of the waterfalls is 320 cubic meters per second. The majestic and majestic momentum is earth-shaking, like two romantic couples inseparable. It is the only spectacle in the caves in China.

6. Kanda

Kanda is a large-scale border stone lake group, with an area of more than 100 square meters and a depth of more than 10 meters. It is scattered and has a magnificent landscape. It is a rare spectacle in the world and is praised by international cave experts as the world's largest.

7. Linyin Village

In the underground world as deep as 100 meters, there are unique Yi-style landscapes, dense branches of forests, Tusi castles, etc., reflecting the honest national customs characteristics of the ancient Yi ancestors.

8. Bat Cave

The Bat Cave is characterized by the stalactites hanging upside down, like the stone forest being long. These stalactites also have a distinctive feature, which is that the stone forest is tilted greatly and irregularly. When carefully examined, it is caused by different air flows. Therefore, it adds another magical scenery of wind-blown stone bends in Jiuxiang.

9. Tourist cableway

Across the green mountains and green ridges, visitors can enjoy the surface scenery of Jiuxiang in different seasons. They can visit Zhangkou Cave, an ancient human site, spanning tens of thousands of years.
