I have longed for Kunming and Lijiang since I was a child. Everyone says that Yunnan is good. When I went to Yunnan this time, I had to sigh,"It's really better to hear about it than seeing it once."

City Transportation:

Kunming has many scenic spots, convenient transportation, and many places to play. We chose a road trip this time. There are many car rental companies in Kunming, so I still recommend choosing a large company. Years of travel experience have taught me that the processes of large companies are faster and more detailed. Because I have a lot of luggage when I travel with children, I chose a Volkswagen Magotan from Yihi Car Rental, which is more comfortable. Including the basic service fee, the total is less than 600 yuan. (Because there are many places to play, I bought one to exempt the refueling service fee.) That is to say, when returning the car, if the fuel tank is not satisfied, there is no need to replenish it.

Attractions:

Yunnan Province Museum. A must-visit museum. My child is only three years old and knows nothing about history. Everything in the museum was told to him in the form of toys, but fortunately it lasted for several hours.

Yunnan Ethnic Village. Needless to say, I will definitely come to a place. There are many ethnic groups here.

Cuihu Park. Although it is said to be a local park, it is very ornamental and is especially suitable for playing in.

In addition, there are stone forests, sea ridge dams, etc., which are all very suitable for checking in.

Day1 starts with the museum

The main attractions we visited on this day were museums and Guandu Ancient Town. We also saw cherry blossoms.

I got up in the morning and drove to the museum. I saw many flowers on the road.

There are really many flowers in Kunming.

I photographed some wild flowers on the roadside, which looked very vibrant.

Yellow, red, and purple are all very bright. Arrived at the Yunnan Province Museum.

Do all provincial and municipal museums in the country not need tickets? I feel that museums are all very well built nowadays.

The prices of everything in the museum are very conscientious, the same as the prices in supermarkets.

There are a lot of collections in the museum. The key is that the lighting is used just right, so it looks very advanced.

I remember visiting museums with my father more than ten years ago, and I always felt that the museum was boring. Only now do we realize the power of museums.

The collections here span many dynasties, even from the Jurassic period.

After leaving the museum and driving to other places, I saw many flowers and a river along the way. I decisively picked up my camera and took pictures again.

Sakura Park

Many people come here to take cherry blossoms. They are probably all tourists. I feel that Kunming people have come here to take cherry blossoms as soon as possible.

When navigation, you can navigate to Jihong Road. It sounds like the rose is red.

No tickets are required for the garden. People who come to Kunming rarely come here to play, so there are few people and it is very suitable to take photos.

Another reason I like this kind of city is that it is very tolerant. We saw three girls jumping on a pole here, and they danced very well. Think about it if we were in our small county town, we would probably be surrounded by all kinds of people.

After leaving Sakura Park, we had no plans to go anywhere again. After searching for nearby attractions, I found that Guandu Ancient City was here. Come on, let's visit Guandu Ancient City.

These two places are very close, only about 15 minutes 'walk. The three of us decided to park our car here first, walk there, and see the scenery everywhere.

I encountered lavender again on the way. It's so beautiful.

Guandu Ancient Town is also a thousand-year-old town. It is said that in the beginning, Dianchi Lake was here, right next to it. Guandu also means official ferry.

Later, due to the reclamation of the sea, which means filling the Dianchi Lake, the ancient town of Guandu is actually a long distance away from the Dianchi Lake.

There are a lot of jade here. In fact, it is a stone, basically either unsolved or just a raw stone. My travel experience over the past few years tells me that everything near the scenic spot is basically fakes, so I didn't buy it.

Later, I asked my friends in Kunming, and they said that the stones sold here are all authentic, okay.

The price of things in Guandu Ancient Town is slightly higher, but it is still within the affordable range.

We have been to Xitang, Wuzhen and Lijiang, and we feel that the ancient town is the same everywhere. Generally speaking, you can buy your favorite handicrafts and some snacks. There are flower cakes here in Kunming, which are really delicious. Be sure to eat freshly baked. It's very crispy.

In the evening, the whole family eats Dai food together. I remember having a peacock banquet when I went to Xishuangbanna. It's not a real peacock, it just piles up all the food together, like a peacock opening its curtain. This is also the kind of atmosphere, with a green base and a watermelon on top.

The rice prepared here is mainly pineapple glutinous rice and fried rice, which tastes good. Important point: We ate with local friends in Kunming, 8 people, and only a total of more than 300 points. It was very cheap.

DAY2 Shilin Scenic Area

The day begins in the Shilin Scenic Area. After we entered, the first thing we saw was cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms here are also very beautiful. There are fewer cherry trees than Cherry Blossom Park, and the photos taken are actually better.

I would suggest coming over at noon. The weather in Kunming is not sunny, and it will not be uncomfortable to play at noon.

Why at this time? Because this way you can avoid tour groups. (Ps: There are no tour groups now, so you can play with ease. It is best to come at noon during normal times)

There is a shuttle bus in the scenic area that you can ride for free. The roads in the stone forest are relatively chaotic. For a road addict like me, it feels like a big maze. Fortunately, I had friends with me. But I think even if I don't know the way and look at the signs, I will have no problem walking to the end.

Look at this stone, it feels like it will fall off at any time. Of course I knew it would not fall, but it still seemed like my heart was racing.

When you arrive at the Shilin Scenic Area, you must go to a small attic, which is very suitable for taking photos and you can take panoramic views. The name of the attic is-Wangfeng Pavilion, which is very good.

DAY3 Haigeng Dam

Start with Haigen Dam. After visiting the Stone Forest on the first day, I don't know if it was because I wasn't acclimatized to the environment, but I felt a little uncomfortable anyway. Fortunately, my body recovered the next morning, otherwise I felt like I couldn't go out to play at all.

The main purpose of our visit to Haigeng Dam was to see seagulls, but there are not many seagulls nowadays. For someone like me who has never seen a seagull, this is enough to open my eyes.

Small vendors will sell snacks that can be bought for seagulls. Seagulls are very intelligent animals. They don't eat anything from people's hands. Only by throwing it into the sky will they catch it and eat it.

After leaving Haigeng Dam, we went to Yunnan Minzu Village. If you want to get to know the ethnic groups of Yunnan quickly, this is a good choice. There are also many events in the ethnic village, such as archery.

So we first went to the mushroom market and bought some monkey mushrooms. I had never sung morels before, so I bought some more.

After that, I returned to Guandu Ancient Town and ate the particularly delicious rice noodles, which was not the same as the crossing the bridge rice noodles we ate there.

On the fourth day, we just walked around the city, went to the wholesale market, and bought some Yunnan specialties for our family.

After that, I drove back to the airport and returned the car to the car rental store, and went home obediently.
