Colorful Yunnan deserves its reputation. It is picturesque Kunming, Dali, ancient Lijiang, mysterious and beautiful Xishuangbanna... It is a place worth visiting.

I have been to Yunnan many times, either by car or chartered a car, walked through many scenic spots, and looked through past photos. Beautiful scenes from the past appear from time to time. The sorting process is also a kind of aftertaste and enjoyment. I once wrote about my journey to Kunming in my previous travel notes.

The following is a trip I once made to Yunnan.

Itinerary: Shanghai--Kunming--Lijiang--Shangri-La--Dali--Kunming--Shanghai

Plane to Kunming, and take a bus from Kunming to Lijiang.

Lijiang ancient city

Also known as Dayan Town, the streets in the ancient city are built around mountains and rivers and paved with red breccia. There are Sifang Street, Mufu, Wufenglou, Lijiang Ancient City Dashuiche, Baisha Residential Building Complex, Shuhe Residential Building Complex and other attractions.

It is a glorious architectural art garden. It fully reflects the style and temperament of the Central Plains architecture in the Ming Dynasty, and at the same time retains the simple and rough charm of the Central Plains architecture in the Tang and Song Dynasties. There is a saying in Lijiang tourism: "If you can't reach Mufu, you can't reach Lijiang."

Shuhe ancient town

It is a well-preserved important market town on the ancient tea-horse road. The building follows the traditional architectural style of the Naxi people.

black Dragon pool

It is located at the foot of Xiangshan Mountain in the north of the city, flowing upstream from Sifang Street in the ancient city of Lijiang along the Jade River with crisscross and longitude. About one kilometer away, there is a crystal clear spring pool, which is the famous Black Dragon Pool at home and abroad.

Baishui River is located next to Yunshanping on the eastern foot of the Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang, Yunnan.

Yulong Snow Mountain

It is called "Oulu" in Naxi, meaning "Tianshan". Its thirteen snowy peaks are endless, like a "dragon" leaping and dancing, so they are called "Jade Dragon".

Climb to an altitude of 4680M in one go.

Tiger Leaping Gorge

It is the world-famous Grand Canyon, famous for its extraordinary dangers and majesty, and is the canyon with the largest drop in the world.

Shangri-La

Shika Snow Mountain

It means "a mountain with red deer". Although it is called a snowy mountain, there is actually only snow between November every year and April and May of the following year, and rocks and rocks are exposed during the rest of the year.

Climb to the main peak of Shika Snow Mountain at an altitude of 4,449.5 meters.

Dali

It is one of the first national historical and cultural cities in China, located in Cangshan and Erhai Lake.

Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple

Facing Yingle Peak of Cangshan Mountain in the west and Erhai Lake in the east, three towers stand on a tripod, with Chihiro Tower in the middle, and two small towers guarding the north and south.

Erhai Lake

Known as the "Pearl of the Plateau", Fengqing Island is one of the three islands of the Erhai Lake. It is known as "the scenery of Dali is in Cang 'er, and the scenery of Cang' er is in Double Corridor."

Xizhou town

It is one of the birthplaces of Dali culture. Xizhou Bai residential buildings have 88 courtyards, with famous residential buildings in various historical periods. It is surrounded by Cangshan Mountain in the west and Erhai Lake in the east. It is the hometown of the movie "Five Golden Flowers".

butterfly spring

The reason why it is named is that there was once a unique scene of butterflies flying in clusters, and it is famous because of the film "Five Golden Flowers" from the 1950s.

Dali ancient city

The city has relatively complete preservation of residential buildings dominated by Bai style and is one of the first batch of historical and cultural cities in the country. The entire ancient city backs Cangshan Mountain and faces Erhai Lake.

There is a saying in Yunnan that goes,"Look at the stone forest on the ground, and look at the Jiuxiang underground." Jiuxiang and the famous stone forest belong to a three-dimensional karst landscape, but its beauty lies not in the peak forest, but in the karst cave.

It is known as the "No. 1 wonder in the world". The stone forest is a typical karst landform, with stone peaks, stone buds, sinkholes, and underground rivers everywhere. The peak forests transform into various forms, including sword shapes, tower shapes, mushroom shapes, etc., which are strange and beautiful.

Xishanlongmen

Xishan Mountain is located on the west side of Kunming City, adjacent to Dianchi Lake. The forest here is dense, the environment is fresh and elegant, and you can overlook the vast Dianchi Lake. The Longmen Grottoes on the mountain are even more ancient and precious. Standing on the Longmen, you can have a panoramic view of the Dianchi Lake for five hundred miles, with infinite scenery.

Taihe Palace Golden Hall

In a national key cultural relics protection unit, the main hall is cast in bronze, which is dazzling and dazzling, hence the name "Golden Hall".

After a short nine-day journey, I experienced the charm of colorful Yunnan.

There are still many scenic spots in Yunnan that have not yet been visited, including Ruili, Tengchong, Honghe Hani Terrace, Three Rivers Parallel Flowing... It's the place to go next time.
