DAY5: Shilin--Changhu--Jinma Biji Square

On the fifth day, sleep until you wake up naturally, visit the Shilin Scenic Area after having the scheduled breakfast. Since I have been here before, this time I took a quick look at the scenery and touched the water.

Stone Forest Scenic Area:

It is located in Kunming Shilin Yi Autonomous County, 78 kilometers away from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan, and covers an area of 350 square kilometers. The main scenic spots include Stone Forest Scenic Area, Heisongyan (Naigu Stone Forest) Scenic Area, Feilong Waterfall (Dadieshui) Scenic Area, and Changhu Scenic Area.

The Shilin Scenic Area in Kunming City has been rated as a "World Geopark" and "World Natural Heritage Scenery" by the United Nations Culture and Education Section. In 1982, it was approved by the State Council as one of the first batch of national-level key scenic spots. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a national civilized scenic tourist area.

Changhu Scenic Area:Weize Village, Changhu Town, located 26 kilometers away from the Shilin Scenic Area, is located surrounded by mountains at an altitude of 1907 meters. The plane shape of the lake is like a slender girl. It is the hometown of Ashima in folklore. Because the lake is hidden among green mountains and green hills, tourists rarely visited in the past, it is also called "Tibetan Lake" by people.

The main attractions include Dushi Mountain, Dajian Mountain, Erjian Mountain, Sanjian Mountain, Mopan Mountain, Penglai Island, Yuanhu, etc. Covering an area of 3.94 square kilometers, it is an entertainment and leisure resort for camping, vacations, recuperation, water sports, wild archery, and enjoying and participating in national dance performances.

In the Changhu Scenic Area, we walked along the lake and took photos for about 2 hours.

Perhaps it is because in the city center, the hotel has a small facade and narrow rooms, but it has its own restaurant. In terms of dining, it is close to Jinma Biji Square, Army Lecture Hall and Cuihu Park.

When I woke up, it was nearly dusk, and I headed straight to Jinma Biji Square. There were many snacks along the way. I could eat them if I liked them. Now I can't remember what they tasted like or what their names were.

Jinma Biji Workshop:It is located at the intersection of Sanshi Street and Jinbi Road in the center of Kunming City. It is 12 meters high and 18 meters wide. The Diaoliang and Painted Building are exquisite. The East Square is adjacent to Jinma Mountain and is named Jinma Square. The West Square is adjacent to Biji Mountain and is named Biji Square. It is a symbol of Kunming. Jinma Biji Square was built during the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of nearly 400 years.

When the sun is about to set, the afterglow shines on Biji Square from the west, and its reflection shines on the east street; at the same time, the moon has just risen from the east, and its silver light shines on Jinma Square, casting its reflection on the west street; The shadows of the two archways gradually move closer and closer, and finally meet each other. This is the spectacle of the "golden jade intersection" that only appears once in 60 years. Legend has it that this spectacle appeared once during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. Due to the angle of rotation of the earth, moon and sun, such a scene can only appear once every 60 years. The design of "Jinma Biji Square" reflects the ancient Yunnan people's attainments in mathematics, astronomy and architecture. The original "Golden Horse Biji Square" was demolished during 10 years of turmoil. The existing "Golden Horse Biji Square" was rebuilt in 1998 on the original site in its original style.

DAY6: Haigeng Park-Yunnan Province Museum

Haigeng Park:Haigeng Park was built in the early 1960s and is located in the southern suburbs of Spring City Kunming City. The west mountain is connected by the Longmen Cableway; it is adjacent to the golf course and the national sports training base to the east; it is adjacent to Yunnan Minzu Village to the north, about 10 kilometers away from the center of Kunming City. Painting pavilions, stone boats, sea-viewing corridors, lush lawns, gorgeous cherry blossoms, luxury yachts, seaside leisure squares, and tens of millions of seagulls flying in winter and spring make man and nature harmonious and romantic. The natural Haigen Park is a good place for people to relax and vacation.

If you have free time, take the cableway and go up to the Western Hills. It is another world.

Yunnan Province Museum:Yunnan Province Museum is a provincial-level comprehensive museum located at No. 118, Wuyi Road, Kunming City. It was founded in August 1951 and has a display area of 2400 square meters.

The basic display in the museum describes the historical development process from ancient civilization to the peaceful liberation of Yunnan. Guided by cultural relics, it comprehensively and systematically displays the profound history and glorious civilization created by the people of all ethnic groups in Yunnan on the red clay plateau for the first time, becoming an important hall for the masses and young students to understand Yunnan's natural geography, history, culture and ancient science and technology.

The treasure of the town hall, each treasure, can be called a masterpiece.

DAY7: Army Lecture Hall-Cuihu Park-Dali

Yunnan Army Lecture Hall:The Army Lecture Hall is a famous military academy in modern Chinese history. It was originally a military school established in the Qing Dynasty to organize and train a new army and strengthen border defense. It was opened in 1909. Together with the Beiyang Army Lecture Hall (Tianjin) founded in 1906 and the Northeast Lecture Hall (Fengtian) founded in 1908, they are called the three major Lecture Hall.

In 1935, the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall was reorganized into the "Kunming Branch of the Central Army Officer School", with Long Yun concurrently serving as director. After the end of the Anti-Japanese War, in September 1945, the fifth branch was ordered to suspend operations. A total of 22 sessions of the Yunnan Army Martial Arts Lecture Hall and Martial Arts Lecture School were held, including various training teams and classes held on campus, and a total of about 9000 officers and non-commissioned officers of various types were trained. Leaders such as Zhu De, Ye Jianying, and Long Yun graduated here.

Kunming Cuihu Park:Cuihu Park is located at the foot of Luofeng Mountain in the north of Kunming City, opposite the main entrance of Yunnan University. It is one of the most beautiful parks in the city. Although it is not large in area, it is very distinctive. It is famous for its "Green Dike Spring Dawn". People call it "an emerald inlaid in Kunming City."

In the park, the Ruan embankment runs through the north and south (built with funds from Ruan Yuan, Governor of Yunnan and Guizhou in 1834), and the Tang embankment runs through the east and west (built with funds from Tang Jiyao, then Commander-in-Chief of the Joint Forces of Yunnan, Sichuan and Guizhou, Sun Yat-sen's Commander-in-Chief of the Founding Forces of Yunnan, Sichuan and Guizhou in 1919), dividing the Cuihu Lake into five scenic spots; the Huxin Island Scenic Area mainly consists of Qing Dynasty buildings such as Lake Center Pavilion and Guanyulou; the southeast is Shuiyue Pavilion and Jinyu Island; the northeast is Zhulin Island and Jiulong Pond; the south is Huludao and Jiuqu Bridge; and the west is Haixin Pavilion.

Autumn is a good time to admire maples. Starting in late October in Cuihu Park, the maple trees will slowly turn red. The change from golden maple leaves to deep red maple leaves may just take one night. The red maple forests here are stacked on top of each other, complementing the lake water, forming a beautiful autumn picture.

At the beginning of winter every year, thousands of red-billed gulls fly from the north to winter here. This is the busiest time in Cuihu Park. Citizens and tourists gather here to feed and feed birds and interact with the red-billed gulls. The harmonious scenes add endless fun to Cuihu Park.

At noon, the younger brother and his wife working here invited us to eat wild mushroom hot pot. To ensure safety, boil for half an hour. A large pot of wild mushrooms boiled until boiling was served on the table, and the timer began to count. The waiter standing next to him would never leave him until he had time.
