After staying in the north for a long time, I wanted to go to the south for the winter. I had seen scenery in the southeast, central south and southwest. I had never been to the tropics. I wondered whether to go to Xishuangbanna or Sanya. After thinking that Sanya would definitely be crowded, so I decided to go to Xishuangbanna before the New Year. Take a walk.

Day1_Kunming_Jinbi Square

The northern plane was late and arrived at Kunming Changshui Airport after 2 o'clock in the afternoon. It took more than an hour to wait for pickup. The airport is in the east of the city, the hotel is in the west of the city,Walking all the way through the city, from Kunming's Laocheng District to the New town area, the architectural styles on both sides of the street have changed significantly.There was a bit of traffic on the road, so I didn't arrive at the hotel until after five o'clock. After resting for a while, I was ready to go out for a walk and have dinner. The hotel has a good location. The subway station is not far from the door. It took three subway stops to Jinma Biji Square. It was just time to eat. I didn't expect that you could find such affordable Cantonese-style snacks near the attractions. I ordered Saucao Noodles, fried milk and milk peach glue. The price is affordable and the taste is authentic. I highly recommend it.

After dinner, it was completely dark, and the lights on both sides of the street were brightly lit. We walked all the way to Jinbi Square. The lanterns were just on. Although the patterns and patterns of the two archways could not be clearly seen, the carving gallery and painting buildings were resplendent and still very exquisite. Next to it is a commercial street, which mainly sells some local specialties. I bought fruit on the way back to the subway station. At first, I looked at the price tag and thought that the fruit prices in Yunnan were really unfriendly. Later, I realized that fruits here are sold by kilogram. No wonder they are twice as expensive.

Day2_Fuxian Lake in Yuxi_Mojiang Tropic of Cancer Park

After breakfast, I took a bus to Fuxian Lake for more than two hours. Fuxian Lake is China's largest deep-water freshwater lake, located in Yuxi, Yunnan. There were too many people during the holidays. It took a long time to wait for the big iron boat to dock. While waiting for the boat, I took a closer look at the lake. It was really clear and it was said that you could drink it directly.

The big iron boat relies purely on human rowing. There are two pedals on the front, middle and back. Before boarding the boat, the staff at the dock told us that if they couldn't pedal, they would hang the life jacket on the mast on the bow and know that we needed help.Traveling around the island and around the lake, the breeze blows on your face, the water is clear, and seagulls fly over the lake from time to time.The sun shines on the lake, and for the first time, I realize what sparkling water is.，When the wind was strong, the boat was a little bumpy, and the lake water spilled on the boat, making clothes and shoes wet.As soon as we rounded the island, everyone unanimously proposed to ask for help. The speedboat dragged a large iron boat over. A guy behind him threw a rope and we hung it on the bow pole. Several boats strung together and returned to the dock.

After lunch, take a bus to Mojiang Tropic of Cancer Park. Mojiang is known as the hometown of Hani, the city of return, and the home of twins.Mojiang Tropic of Cancer Park is a geographical park,The Tropic of Cancer runs through Mojiang County, dividing the county into a new city and an old city. Animals and plants have twins. Standing on the Tropic of Cancer and looking at the plants on both sides of the park, one side is the north temperate zone and the other is the subtropical zone.

This park is very suitable for bringing children over to play. During the summer solstice, you can't see the pole and learn about astronomy and geography. When crossing the Tropic of Cancer Tower, the photographer also took a photo, which is probably the most satisfying photo I have on this trip.There is a sign tower on the top of the mountain, through which you can look directly at the sun during the summer solstice. There is also a twin well. It is said that someone specially filled well water back to pray for twins.The hotel at night was also good, which was a surprise compared to the first day.

Day3_Xishuangbanna_Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences/Lancang River Cruise

After visiting the Emerald City in the morning, laymen couldn't understand it. Just take it as a gain. The family heirloom series is really exquisite. In the afternoon, I finally have to go to the Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which I have been longing for. I have already visited two of the three major botanical gardens of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and I will visit the Guangzhou Botanical Garden if I have the opportunity in the future. Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden is located on Huludao. The island has a special shape, so the park is naturally divided into east and west parts. There was not enough time, so I only visited a few gardens in the western district.

Tropical plants are really very different from common plants. Perhaps due to climate, most of them have luxuriant branches and leaves. It was the first time I saw plants strangulation, single trees forming forests, iron trees blooming, mimosa, and dancing trees. I knew what pineapple trees looked like. I also visited the National Tree National Garden, the Vine Garden, the Hundred Flowers Garden, and the National Botanical Garden.

After dinner, we will take the Blending to tour the Lancang River at night. The Lancang River's name outside the country is Mekong River, and one river nurtures the people of six countries.Outside the window are the night view of the Lancang River and the Xishuangbanna Bridge. On the cruise ship, there are Southeast Asian dances and performances by famous artists. Unfortunately, I didn't grab my favorite calligraphy and painting.The hotel at night is a great value for money.

Day4_Xishuangbanna_Wild Elephant Valley/Primeval Forest Park

Go to Wild Elephant Valley in the morning andI mainly visited Snake and Lizard Garden and Butterfly Garden.Both sides of the glass sky plank road are primeval forest tropical plants, and there are various interesting mantises on the lounge. I walked all the way to the Wild Elephant Museum. Unfortunately, there was no time and I didn't take the cableway to see the wild elephants.

I returned to the Elephant School the same way and watched the elephant perform, mainly throwing the ball and standing on both legs. The staff also took a painting with only tree trunks drawn, and the elephant then drew leaves and flowers with a pen.

In the evening, I went to the virgin forest park to watch the performance of "Golden Peacock Night". There was a bonfire performance as soon as I entered the door. A group of people gathered in a large circle to sing and dance. It was so lively. Unfortunately, it was already dark when I came here, otherwise I could have a good stroll in the virgin forest park and breathe fresh air.

The performance sat in the middle of the sixth row, with a good view.The dance performance showed the local customs and customs of Yunnan, the characteristic costumes of various ethnic minorities, the strange scenery of the tropical rainforest, the origin of the Dai Water-Splashing Festival, and finally the customs exhibition of six Southeast Asian countries. During the performance session of the Water-Splashing Festival, the young ladies directly stepped off the stage and splashed water. They sat in the sixth row near the aisle and were splashed with water.Fortunately, I took a coat to "block the rain", and then I understood why when the first two rows of raincoats were issued, many spaces in front of me were empty. It turned out that everyone realized that something was wrong and slipped away in advance.

It's almost 9 o'clock after the performance ended. I have to say that in Xishuangbanna this season, although it's hot during the day, it's really cold at night. The mountains are full of virgin forests and the temperature is even lower. I took a battery car all the way down, and the cold wind blew. Fortunately, I took a woolen coat.

Day5_Xishuangbanna_Dai Village/Gaozhuang West Double Scenery

In the morning, visit the Dai villages. Each village has a Buddhist hall. Children will go to school in the Buddhist hall.Various medicinal plants and herbs are grown in the stockade. It seems that ethnic minorities have various folk prescriptions. There are two major ethnic minorities here, the Dai and the Hani. Dai girls have a high status and the Hani boys have a high status. The two ethnic groups do not intermarry.We were received by a Hani young sister who married to the Dai nationality, which was a great unity of the nation. The Dai people also have the custom of trial marriage. The man goes to the woman's house to trial marriage for three years and helps the woman's house work. In the first year, he cuts rubber, grows crops in the second year, and makes clothes and jewelry in the third year. Only after passing the test can both parties get married.

The first time I saw the Dai people's hanging towers, I remembered the song I sang when I was a child. There was a line in the song "Dai family's bamboo towers are surrounded by rainbows." Time flies so fast.

The main Buddhist temple seems to be a golden Buddha and a wooden Buddha. It was too late to visit it, but after visiting the Dajinta Temple in Jinghong,Da Jinta Temple is in Gaozhuang. The temple is typical of Southeast Asian style and has a strong incense.

Gaozhuang West Shuangjing is a famous scenic spot,The surrounding hotel buildings are all in Southeast Asian style. There are modern hotels and hotels, bamboo building style B & Bs, and lively markets in the alleys.The food street has not yet opened in the afternoon, so it should be more lively at night.

Have a cup of afternoon tea in Gaozhuang, visit the market, try tropical fruits and Yunnan cuisine, and take a walk by the river. It will be over for an afternoon. If you have the opportunity to come to Xishuangbanna in the future, you must stay in Gaozhuang.Go to Xishuangbanna Airport at 6:30 and take the plane back to Kunming at 9:00. At this point, the trip to Xishuangbanna is over.

Day6_Kunming_Provincial Museum/Guandu Ancient Town

Breakfast was still the hotel buffet. The Provincial Museum and Guandu Ancient Town were both nearby the hotel. I decided to go and have a look. After all, the museum is the soul of a city.The most favorite place to visit in every city is the museum.

The Yunnan Province Museum and Art Museum are all located in the same square, which saves tourists a lot of trouble. The temporary exhibition hall on the first floor is an exhibition of historical relics of the Red Army's crossing of Yunnan. The second floor is mainly about Yunnan in ancient times and an introduction to Yunnan's geographical environment. Plate movement created Yunnan's special geological environment, formed unique climate and geographical conditions, and nurtured this magical kingdom of animals and plants. The third floor mainly introduces the history of Yunnan, which is divided into several exhibition halls: Miaoxiang Buddhist Kingdom, Opening Xinjiang and Guarding the Border, and Centenary Events. It introduces Nanzhao/Dali, Yuan, Ming, Qing and modern Yunnan. I am really ashamed to have not known the relationship between Dali and Nanzhao for so many years. I finally understood after watching this exhibition.

Because I still wanted to visit Guandu Ancient Town later, I only visited the Provincial Museum for 2 hours. Many of the exhibits were briefly glanced at. If I have the opportunity to come to Yunnan again in the future, I will also visit the Provincial Museum. After coming out of the Yunnan Province Museum, you can see Guandu Ancient Town just across the street. I ate cross-bridge rice noodles at the entrance of Guandu Ancient Town, and just happened to visit the ancient town after dinner. It is actually an ancient street. The shops facing the street are relatively commercial and mainly sell souvenirs and various snacks.Walking along the alleys on both sides of the main street, I saw some ancient folk houses. At first, I felt that they were no different from ordinary ancient streets. When I walked forward, I found a temple. I immediately felt that this ancient town was unique, with ancient folk houses, temples and stupas.

The plane left Guandu Ancient Town after 6 p.m., went back to the hotel to get my luggage, and prepared to go to the airport. At this point, the trip between Kunming-Xishuangbanna was over. Next time I have the opportunity, I will visit Dali and Lijiang.
