In early January 2021, I took advantage of my rare spare time to visit the south of Caiyun. Yunnan visited once on the National Day of 2015. At that time, I visited Lijiang, Dali, Shuanglang, and Shangri-La, but did not visit the Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang. So this time I took advantage of the dead winter to visit the Yulong Snow Mountain. I checked the travel route online, reported the places I wanted to visit, and finally decided on Lijiang, Lugu Lake, Kunming, Shilin and other places. I went on January 8 and returned on January 13. The arrangements were quite full. The price for the travel route was 1450 yuan/person. Because I was alone, I made up for the difference in the room rate of 250 yuan (50 yuan/night). A total of 1700 yuan, including pick-up and drop-off, but excluding round-trip air tickets. The accommodation level is slightly better than that of the express hotel. The accommodation in Lugu Lake is worse, but it is normal.
I thought this price was okay and relatively cheap at first, but later after comparing it with the group members, I found that it might be expensive because it was a group group, and each attraction might have different people. The most exaggerated one was a group member from Lugu Lake. She and her children flew from Guangxi to Yunnan for 7 days and 6 nights. The total cost was only more than 900 yuan for 2 people, including air tickets. Isn't it too exaggerated? However, they needed to shop. She bought less and only spent more than 1,000 yuan on shopping. But I feel it's still very cost-effective. Even shopping for two people only spent less than 3000 yuan in total, and some people also traveled alone. The group fee was similar to mine, which seemed to be 1800 yuan, but one day more than mine, 7 days and 6 nights. She took the Dali, Lijiang, Lugu Lake, and Kunming routes. The travel agency told her that it was a pure tour group, but she was forced to shop in Dali and Lijiang. It was useless to complain. In the end, she only left the shopping area after mixing with the people who had already shopped, otherwise she wouldn't be able to leave. However, if you pay a lot of tour fees, you may help you coordinate when making a complaint. Generally speaking, you will coordinate and use the tour fee to offset the shopping commission. To put it bluntly, the tour guide cannot lose money, otherwise he will not lead the tour group.
The travel agency that signs up for a tour and the travel agency that receives a tour are two groups of people. Everyone must make it clear. It's a bit similar to selling pigs. Online travel agencies mainly solicit customers. After they are recruited, they are resold to the local reception travel agency, and there is more than one resale company, because each family's routes are different and are pieced together. The first time I went to Yunnan was for free travel and I made my own strategy. However, because the transportation was inconvenient to go to Shangri-La, I still signed up for a group. The price was not cheap. I said it was purely for fun, but there was still shopping, but I didn't force it. Pure tour groups are not forced to shop, but also have to enter the shopping area. At the very least, tour guides have to earn a head fee. In the past few years, all the groups I have signed up for have been purely fun groups. The tour guide will pave the way before entering the shopping area, constantly brainwash and talk, and ask you to shop in a way to please you. The tour guide vowed to give you a discount, and then discounts should be more expensive than online, otherwise you won't be able to earn a commission, unless you really know what you do.
Here is the specific itinerary:
Day 1:There is an early flight to Lijiang, pick up the plane and pick it up to the hotel to sign the contract and pay the final payment. Check-in and rest. No free travel is arranged on the first day. You can see the Yulong Snow Mountain from the hotel window. Breakfast is included in the hotel, which is very average;
The hotel is not far from Dayan Ancient Town. I walked there for a while and stayed until I came back at night;
Day 2: The tour guide drove a commercial car to pick up the group. The group of five people went to Rose Manor and the Tea Horse Ancient Road in the morning and provided lunch. The Rose Manor and the Tea Horse Ancient Road were charged separately and were not on the itinerary. They should be the tour guide's personal work. I went to Rose Manor, but I didn't go to the Tea Horse Ancient Road. I have been to the Tea Horse Ancient Road before. It's not interesting, not recommended, and not cost-effective. Rose Manor didn't want to go, but it should be a relatively difficult attraction. Rose Manor sounds like a place full of roses. But the season is not right. Roses bloom in spring, and many and many coriferous plants are in spring. For example, Wuyuan rapeseed flowers were not in the good season at that time, so there was nothing to see in the Rose Manor in winter, but I went there when I was free. The 100-yuan ticket may not be worth it, it was just a detour by boat. It was very short, and then there was a photo taking place, the Mirror of the Sky, but there was an extra fee of 20 yuan. The floor was a mirror and some photo taking props were placed. Nothing else. Rose Manor is a botanical garden. It may be better to have roses in spring, but tickets may also be more expensive;
In the afternoon, we went to the Yulong Snow Mountain and the Blue Moon Valley. Going to the Yulong Snow Mountain this season is actually very risky, and the mountains are often closed because the wind is very strong, which will cause the climbing cableway to shake very badly and is dangerous. The weather seems to be better in December or February. A little, but it also depends on luck. We were out of luck. The wind was very strong that day, so the Yulong Snow Mountain was finally closed. Everyone changed to the Blue Moon Valley next door to play. The blue moon scenery is good. There is a substance in the water that causes the lake water to turn blue. Later, I heard from the tour guide who said that Blue Moon Valley was an artificial color, but it was quite beautiful;
The evening of the second day's itinerary was to Shuhe Ancient Town. I didn't go because I had been there before and went straight back to the hotel.
Day 3: The hotel checked out and arranged a bus to Lugu Lake. The team was relatively large, about 40 people. They arrived at Lugu Lake around noon. I felt very beautiful when I came here for the first time. I stayed at Lugu Lake at night, including lunch and dinner; The Lugu Lake Scenic Area is relatively large and is located at the junction of Yunnan and Sichuan. The scenery in the Yunnan part is better, with green lake water, while on the Sichuan side, it is submerged by straw and reeds.
Lugu Lake looks more natural than Lanyue Valley. The water is blue. Boating to a nearby island. There is nothing to see on the island, mainly for the boaters to rest.
There are many seagulls to feed on the lake leading to the island. The water is clear and you can drink. It is said that men can get pregnant even if they drink it.
After that, we took a car and went around Lugu Lake. The scenery from every angle was different and very good.
In the evening, I checked into an inn near Goddess Mountain and had dinner. In the evening, the temperature suddenly dropped and it started to snow. I went to bed without taking a bath, because I had to get up early the next day to go to the wedding bridge.
Day 4: Arrive at the Wedding Bridge in the morning. It is cloudy. There are not many people on the Wedding Bridge. As the name suggests, the Wedding Bridge was built to facilitate the boys across the lake to come to the girls 'homes for wedding. Come at night and walk in the morning without taking away any clouds, leaving only a bunch of children for the woman to raise;
The Zouwedding Bridge seems to give one hour of sightseeing and photo taking time, which is enough to tell the truth. But if you want to travel in depth, you should walk from the Zouwedding Bridge to the other side. Then it should take about 2 hours to get back. Then you get on the bus and go to nearby villages. Miao beautiful women provide receptions at home, explain Miao customs and brainwash shopping, mainly medicinal materials and silverware. Don't buy medicinal materials that you don't understand. Even if the price is discounted, it will be much more expensive. However, in order to help the poor or support the local economy, it is understandable. I'm afraid that the people you help are people who are far richer than you. I didn't plan to buy anything, but I bought some when I saw that there was 37. One gram was more than 2 yuan. I thought that it should be more reliable after all, but I forgot to check the price. Later, I remembered it when I came back. After comparing it, I found that the price was still several times more expensive. I could only think that it might be fake online, so I better buy it when I get to know it better. However, many people will be impulsive in that kind of scene like me. Let's judge the person. I stayed at the village shopping mall for maybe 1-2 hours, then returned to Lijiang at noon, and delivered it to Lijiang Railway Station at around 6 p.m., ready to take a night sleeper to Kunming.
Day 5:After sleeping in the sleeper for the whole night, I arrived in Kunming in the morning and picked up the hotel. Today's itinerary was to go to the Shilin Scenic Area, but due to the snow, the highway was closed and the road was closed, and I said that I would cancel the attraction. I checked the weather forecast and found that the temperature would rise on the second day. I discussed with the travel agency and moved the Shilin itinerary to the second day. Today is Kunming's free trip. Because the sleeper didn't sleep well last night, I slept in the hotel first and took a bus to Haigeng Park at noon. The ticket seemed to be 10 yuan. Very good value.
Many people feed seagulls on the Dianchi Dam. They can hold the food in their hands and the seagulls will snatch the food in the air.
After visiting Dianchi Lake, I took a bus to the museum. It was free. Because there was not much time, I took a quick tour of the museum.
After visiting the museum, I came to the nearby Guandu Ancient Town, which is like a pedestrian street and is free of charge. There are some temples in the ancient town, and there are quite a crowd. It is a tourist attraction worth visiting.
Day 6: A driver picked up the bus for a one-day trip to Shilin early in the morning, and then took the bus to Shilin Scenic Area. Shilin is not far from Kunming. It seems to be a 2-hour drive. The Shilin Scenic Area is quite shocking and is a scenic spot worth visiting. Shilin Scenic Area recommends signing up for a tour unless you have a car. The one-day trip is quite cheap and includes lunch. Of course, the one-day trip also requires a shopping spot, which is a seaweed shopping spot. Then the tour guide will promote food on the bus and finally return to Kunming International Trade Distribution Center. Arrangements will be made to send them to the airport and return at night.
The scenic area is quite big. Take a battery car around the edge of the scenic area to another location.
