DAY 13 (April 20) Hongdu-Lingma

Summarizing yesterday's experience, whenever you see a path leading to the mountains, you will ask the local people if it is easy to walk. Today, we are all taking secondary roads. Except for a section of road in Gupeng that is being repaired, all other road conditions are okay. I got up early today, so I walked far. A large area of mulberry fields is planted here. The first time I saw silkworm cultivation was organized in a grid.

When I was approaching Lingma, I met a female riding friend who wanted to ride Yunnan. I glanced at the car's clothes and bags were very clean, and she pushed it at any point of slope. Her face was pale. She was even carrying a headset for live broadcasts. She should be making money in the name of riding. I wasn't in the same boat, so I left after saying hello. Today, I searched for a long time in Lingma Town but couldn't find a camping place. The people here are very afraid of trouble, or rather indifferent, and talked about nonsense like the leaders seeing things badly. Finally, I met a kind young man at a car and water supply shop on the roadside. He made room to build a tent for me and asked me to take a bath.

DAY 14 (April 21) Lingma-Baise

Nothing bad today, the road conditions are good. And it's not so hot to start early. There are fewer cars, so it's more comfortable to ride.

I went to a dessert shop in Baise to drink a cup of mung bean paste to reduce the heat. 5 yuan a cup. It is a bit expensive, but it has a lot of people. There is this one nearby.

DAY 15 (April 22) Baise-Jiuzhou

I've been used to sleeping in tents these past few days, but I couldn't sleep when I stayed in a hotel last night. Sigh, I'm a sin.

After passing Tianlin Town, I happened to encounter a village that practiced customs like ours. The whole village gathered together happily and sang folk songs.

When I arrived in Jiuzhou Town, the local plums were ripe, only two yuan a catty. It was sour and appetizing. After searching for a while, I finally found a sand and gravel factory around eight o'clock and settled down.

DAY 16 (April 23) Jiuzhou-Longlin

After riding with a high temperature of 100+ for four consecutive days, my body reached its limit a little. I had a low fever when I woke up in the morning, so I went to Longlin at 3 pm and looked for a hotel to rest.

Today, I didn't take a single photo all the way up and down. I climbed two level 3 slopes and one level 2 slope. Because of the heat, I was still on my way, and I felt I had missed a lot.

DAY 17 (April 24) Longlin-Xingyi

Today, we entered the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau from the 100,000 Mountains and set out early in the morning with the morning light

DAY 18 (April 25) Xingyi-Luo Ping

In the morning, I set off for Luoping while admiring the bougainvillea all the way. I accidentally stepped into a sea of flowers-Guizhou Chun Scenic Area. I didn't need a ticket. The fragrance of flowers was overflowing. I stayed for an hour without realizing it.

After following the advice of the old driver, I walked to Xingyi instead of Guangnan. Newly paved asphalt roads were paved from Baise to Yunnan. The road conditions were extremely good and the heat slowly receded. You could enjoy the scenery and take photos.

Entering the Yunnan border, I have already seen the two plateau lumps on the faces of the local people turning red, and I have officially entered the plateau zone.

Because it was inconvenient to ride a bike, I didn't go to Jiulong Waterfall. I visited Luoping Rape Flower Scenic Area. Although I knew that the rapeseed flowers were out of season, I still enjoyed the heroism on the observation deck.

Ever since I was shocked by the train, I have long longed for Luo Ping's rapeseed flowers. Although the rapeseed flowers have all been cut down now, they are still golden.

Luoping is a popular tourist destination, so there are many places to live. The off-season and peak seasons are clear, and the prices are very cheap in off-season.

DAY 19 (April 26) Luo Ping-Shilin

Today, I overestimated my physical fitness and underestimated the wind on this plateau. I was abused so that I lost my temper. I had to step downhill even when I stepped on a flat road. I stepped on an uphill rhythm. Moreover, my skin was dry and cracked like the dryness of the Northwest.

I couldn't walk more than ten kilometers away from Shilin, so I found a prefabricated motel and stayed in it. There was only one room and one bed for twenty-one nights. I even vomited at night. I should have caught a cold. If I go to the plateau, I will easily get sick if I don't pay attention. From today on, I will need to base myself with long sleeves.

DAY 20 (April 27) Shilin

Today, I rode eleven kilometers to Shilin to recuperate. I was still very weak because I caught a cold

Thinking that it was still early, I asked the boss about the fare evasion route and went to explore the way first. Unexpectedly, I easily entered.

I entered late, so I didn't finish shopping. There were too many fork roads, making it easy to get lost

DAY 22 (April 29) Shilin-Kunming

On the 21st day, I gave myself a vacation, slept in a youth hostel for a day, drank tea and water with my fellow travelers, and took cold medicine. My body recovered quickly.
