On National Day this year, I spent 5 days in Kunming. Jinan's National Day is already extremely cold, but in Kunming, it is still as warm as spring. No wonder in autumn and winter, so many people are willing to come to Kunming to play. My best friend said that in fact, people, like migratory birds, are willing to go to a warm place for the winter, haha.

About the itinerary:

We started traveling on October 2nd. During a total of 5 days, there were still many attractions to visit in Kunming, including Cuihu Park, Dounan Flower Market, Guandu Ancient Town, Shilin, etc.

About transportation:

There are a lot of B & Bs in Kunming, but the prices of B & Bs have increased during the National Day. Normally, there are about 500 to 600 B & Bs during the National Day period. So we ended up not choosing a B & B but stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Kunming Travel Account

Because there is only a five-day journey, deducting the round-trip time, the real time you can play is only about four and a half days. Renting a car and driving can greatly improve efficiency. We didn't want to make ourselves nervous, so the five-day period took into account travel efficiency and diversity of attractions.

When I arrived at Changshui Airport, I found a certain store and went through the car rental procedures. I rented a Lingpai this time, and the car is in good condition.

After picking up the car, we went directly to Guandu Ancient Town.

Before I set out, my father told me to take Yunzi back for him. As for me, there was a high probability that I would completely forget this matter when I played later, so I decided to complete the task first before playing.

There are many shops selling chess pieces here, and we went to a shop that looked very tall. When I arrived, I found that even chess pieces were so particular. I have to say that the Go pieces here are particularly good to the touch with your hand. They are the kind of coolness that I like very much. No wonder Dad, you want to have this kind of chess piece.

We don't spend much time in Guandu Ancient Town. We have been to many ancient towns in the past few years, and we don't think visiting Guandu Ancient Town is anything special.

We didn't go anywhere else for dinner, but had dinner directly at the Intercontinental Hotel. There is a buffet and it tastes good.

We went to see the performance of Yunnan Image, and tickets for this performance had to be purchased in advance. I have to say that these performances in Teacher Yang Liping's Theater are really great. Whether it is the sound and light or the dance movements of the actors, they are all beautiful. We also took a lot of photos while watching the performance. I hope these beautiful pictures can be stored in my mind for a long, long time.

Note that when buying tickets, try to look at the location. Fares are different for different locations. If it is in the first three rows, the fare is relatively cheap. When we bought it, it cost 275 yuan. If it is a middle seat, the ticket price will be more expensive.

My best friend and I both said that Yunnan Image's performance is definitely among the top three performances we have seen.

I found a random restaurant to eat for dinner. I didn't step on thunder during the past few days in Kunming. No matter which meal I ate, it tasted very good. There are many types of dishes in this store. Compared with meat, I really like eating their stir-fried dishes. You know, cooking stir-fried dishes well is not as easy as you think.

Dianchi Lake has a beautiful scenery

The next day we went to Dianchi Lake first. Dianchi Lake is not only an important attraction in Kunming, but also an indispensable position in the entire Yunnan Province.

Dianchi Lake is very large, and the water here is very clear. If you come in the middle of winter, you can still see red-billed gulls flying in from Siberia. Of course I can't see anything now.

The air around Dianchi Lake is particularly good. The sky is blue and the white clouds are big and big, like big marshmallows.

We played in Dianchi Lake for about 2 hours. There were also local people running around Dianchi Lake, which felt very lively. For people like us who are new to Kunming, it is impossible to escape. After all, Kunming itself is at an altitude of more than 1000 meters. And we have never run in Jinan.

After returning from Dianchi Lake, I had a casual bite and then went to 1903 Park. This park is a cultural and creative park, similar to Eling Park in Chongqing. There are cultural and creative stores and some restaurants in the 1903 Park. We went to a restaurant and ate fungi. After all, we are in Yunnan, so we have to eat some fungi and go back.

There are simply too many fungi in Yunnan. Interestingly, some stores still make records when preparing fungi. It made us very scared and felt like we were preparing for going to the hospital.

All fungi here are required to be boiled for at least 18 minutes before they can be eaten. Note that this must be done first for all fungi when placed in the pot.

After eating the fungi, we began to go to Dounan Flower Market. There are two better time periods to go to Dounan Flower Market, either morning or afternoon. We are experiencing the evening market, and I personally think the evening market is very lively.

Take a look at the flower market here. It's so lively, with many businesses and super tourists. The point is that the flowers here are simply too cheap. It is said that many flower shop owners in Yunnan buy from here. When we first came to the flower market, we just looked at the flowers. We really went to buy flowers before leaving Kunming and got on the plane with the flowers. It was so beautiful.

After arriving at Dounan Flower Market, you must go to the main venue. There are simply too many flowers here. We arrived around 6 o'clock, when many flowers were on sale. For retail merchants like us, the price is not much cheaper, but which wholesalers can buy flowers at great prices.

After leaving Dounan Flower Market, we went directly to Rixin Road. We passed the "Shuangqiao Night Market" here. I didn't even know the existence of this night market before I came here. Since he was passing by, he would definitely have a big meal inside. It turns out that I'm lucky I didn't miss it. There are simply too many delicious food here, and the price is not expensive. For example, 15 oysters cost only 15 yuan, which is super cost-effective.

Because there are so many snacks, we don't buy too many of each. The advantage is that we can eat more snacks. Later, we took stock and found that the four people ate a total of 18 kinds of delicious food in the night market. We are really big eaters.

On the last day, we went to Dounan Flower Market and picked out many favorite flowers. Holding flowers in our hands, we boarded the plane, ending our five-day trip to Kunming. After returning home, I sorted out the photos in Kunming, and the memories of those travel came to my mind again.
