As we all know, Kunming is like spring all year round. In winter, Sanya or Kunming have become the two cities that people most want to avoid winter. However, during our three-day trip to Kunming, in addition to avoiding the winter, we even found a very cold attraction-Jiaozi Snow Mountain to stroll around. Looking at the snowy mountains in Kunming turned out to be my best start in early 2022.

Before setting off, we first booked a Teana car from a certain hi and picked it up from Kunming Station, so that we could travel more efficiently in the next three days. Shun said, when I was booking a car, I realized that I still had second-hand sales. I feel that I have a hope of buying a car in 2022, haha.

The beauty of the sedan chair snowy mountain

I knew about the sedan chair snow mountain because of a classmate in Kunming. When we talked about Kunming being like spring all year round, he said that Kunming actually has cold places. I asked and said that it is very cold around Jiaozi Snow Mountain from November to March of the following year, and the snowy mountains here are a place that many people yearn for. Since then, I have also longed for this place.

So, I decisively started this journey to the snowy mountains with my friends. The sedan chair snow-capped mountains this season are simply beautiful, covered in silver and have a wide view. The beauty of this kind of attraction can be felt before the car enters the scenic area. The sky looks very blue and high, making people fascinated.

It was about past 10 a.m. when I arrived at Jiaozi Snow Mountain. I was still wearing a thin coat when I set out from downtown Kunming. When I arrived at the foot of the snowy mountain, I was already wearing my thickest down jacket. A friend said that in fact, when we reach the top of the snowy mountains, many people wear big cotton-padded jackets or military overcoats.

Note that you need to take a cable car on Sedan Snow Mountain. It is estimated that there are also mountain climbing routes, but the weather is too cold and the mountains are steep. I strongly recommend that everyone take the cable car.

There is still a way to go after getting off the cable car. At this time, there were two options. One was a direct route to the car roof, and the other was a route to the ice waterfall. We chose the road that took the car roof first and then the ice waterfall. The road to the roof of the car was not easy to walk. It took us about 2 hours to climb. So, don't think that after taking the cable car, everything will be fine.

We stayed at an observation deck near Jingguitang for a long time, where we could see a particularly beautiful world. A very thick layer of ice has formed on the water, and the sky in the distance is also misty. It seems that a fairy can suddenly appear from this fairyland on earth.

You can still see soft snowflakes on the mountain peak in the distance. I have to say that nature, the creator, has indeed created various scenery in the world.

What shocked me the most was this waterfall. I have seen waterfalls pouring down, but it is the first time I have seen such a beautiful ice waterfall. If it weren't for knowing that it was winter, they might think that the waterfall used time pause. I am very curious about what the last drop of frozen water looks like. If you have seen it, you will never forget it.

After that, we passed by Huaxi, and the current Huaxi is no different from other places. However, a friend said that when the ice and snow melt, azaleas will bloom all over the mountains, and you can even see various fungi emerging (you can't eat it). By then, Huaxi will become another very beautiful scene.

After playing in Sedan Snow Mountain for a whole day, several of them were exhausted. Therefore, after returning to Kunming, we did not stroll around the city and fell asleep early.

A free and idle day

After seeing the shocking scenery of the snowy mountains, I became less interested in ordinary scenes. So, we got up late this day. After breakfast at around ten o'clock, we immediately went to Yunnan Minzu Village. The main purpose of coming here is to experience the different customs and customs of ethnic minorities.

Due to the epidemic, many performances in ethnic villages have been cancelled, mainly because the number of tourists here is indeed decreasing.

We only watched two performances in there. After coming out of the Minzu Village, we immediately went to Dianchi Lake. The biggest highlight here in Dianchi Park is probably the seagulls. There are obviously many seagulls on the sea, but now I have also seen the charm of seagulls here, and I feel that this is the sea. haha.

Dianchi Lake looks like just a big pool of water, but I am very interested in this kind of water. So, we just played in Dianchi Lake for more than two hours, and then we checked in to the No. 1 South Asian style city. Although everyone went to tourist attractions such as Thailand, Nepal, and Singapore before the epidemic, in fact, the buildings and languages in Yunnan are similar to those in many Asian countries.

A tight day trip

On the third day, we arranged more time. First we went to Xishan Mountain. In order to save time, we still took the cableway directly up the mountain from Haigeng Park. The reason why I went to Xishan was to experience climbing Longmen. When we came, the cableway here happened to be under maintenance, and our final journey was to Xishan Dianchi Lake. However, since I have climbed the Dragon Gate, I have nothing else to pay attention to.

After arriving at the Xishan Scenic Area and climbing the Dragon Gate, I felt that my worth had increased a lot. A friend said that he felt that he had to work hard in the second half of the year, otherwise it would be compared to the dragon gate he had climbed.

Before coming here, I thought that the highlight here was just a dragon gate climbing project. When I really walked around, I realized that this was not the case. There was actually Nie Er's tomb here. I think probably every student knows about Nie Er's existence.

We saw that there was a wreath in front of Nie Er's tomb, which could be remembered by future generations. Perhaps it was a kind of comfort for these people.

After that, we checked in to the former site of the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall. Due to the epidemic, current restrictions are now also restricted here. When visiting, time periods must be distinguished, and staff members must scan the code at the door. In short, because of the epidemic, it feels like the pattern of the entire world has changed.

After that, we went to the Kunming World Expo Park, which was a completely different scenery from the snowy mountains we saw a few days ago. When you arrive at the Kunming World Expo Park, you can see all kinds of flowers, colorful and beautiful. My best friend said that this is the meaning of Spring City. Everything is beautiful.

In addition to flowers, I spent more time in the Expo Park looking at the buildings here. The various odd-shaped buildings were so eye-catching that a few of us were taking photos in front of them.

After that, we sneaked into Kunming at night. The night here is bustling and beautiful.

During the few days we were in Kunming, we ate hot pot several times. The most distinctive thing in Yunnan is the mushroom pot here. There are various fungi in the store that can be matched freely.
