So travel time can only be in early August. At that time, I chose three locations: Harbin (to watch brain axes), Qingdao (to eat seafood and beer), and Yunnan (to watch elephants). This month, the temperature in Harbin was very comfortable, but Bao Ma ruthlessly refused it. Qingdao took a look at the extremely expensive hotel and was rejected by my wallet. In the end, I chose Yunnan. Because my baby prefers small animals, the itinerary mainly focused on watching animals. Finally, I chose Xishuangbanna and Kunming.

The air tickets and hotels were booked about a month before departure. The prices were reasonable at that time, but just after the booking was completed, I saw online saying that Banna had too many tourists during the summer vacation, which caused the local area to be overwhelmed. First, there was a power outage across the city, and then there was a taxi queue for half an hour. After all, we were on a trip with our baby now, and we were still quite nervous at that time, but our luck was good and the trip went smoothly. Moreover, the day after we left, the city of Banna had water supply for two days, so we avoided it.

Best time to travel

The rainy season in Yunnan is generally concentrated from May to October every year, with the rainfall from June to August accounting for about 60% of the whole year. And we happen to be in the rainy season... Banna is in a tropical rainforest area, which can be said to be hot and humid.

how to get to

Xishuangbanna is located at the southernmost tip of Yunnan Province. The most convenient way to get there is by plane. The price of direct flights is high. If you depart from Beijing, you can transfer to Kunming or Chengdu, and the price will be much lower. Another economical way is to take the high-speed train from Kunming. It is said that the high-speed train from Kunming to Banna seems to have just opened to traffic last year. The whole journey takes about 4 hours and the price is only more than 200 yuan. We chose to stop from Beijing to Kunming for 1 hour and then fly to Banna. The time is quite suitable. The overall epidemic prevention inspection efficiency in Yunnan is very high.

However, there is a tourist bus stop at the north gate of Gaozhuang, which makes travel more convenient. Internet celebrity stores are basically concentrated in Gaozhuang, and dining is relatively convenient.

2. Splash Square: The price is moderate, and there is a riverside night market next to it, which is cost-effective. Because it is in the center of the city, it is convenient to go to some small restaurants frequented by local people.

Currently, three routes have been opened: Wild Elephant Valley, Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tropical Forest Park. The boarding point is the North Gate of Gaozhuang, which is still very convenient for friends who have not chosen to rent a car or charter a car.

Passenger Station: There are three passenger stations here, namely Xishuangbanna Passenger Station (also called Fantai Factory Passenger Station by locals, which seems to have the most buses here), Jinghong Passenger Station (near the Farmers 'Market), and Jinghong Passenger Station South Station (near Manting Park). Most scenic spots in Banna can be reached by passenger buses. Among them, Banna Passenger Station has the most passenger buses passing through various scenic spots. This is where we take the bus to "Menglun" when we go to the Tropical Botanical Garden.

Chartered cars: About 200 to 300 per day, suitable for young people. It is very cost-effective to visit two or three scenic spots a day.

Didi: Before leaving, I watched a lot of videos saying that the local area was overloaded during the summer, and the taxi queue started for half an hour. We were lucky. In fact, it was basically difficult to take a taxi every day during the peak period in the evening. If we went out to play early in the morning, it would take only seconds to pick up orders.

Taxis: Basically, regular taxis here are priced by meter. If they are in the urban area, they will hardly exceed twenty to thirty yuan. Moreover, I only realized by chatting with the driver master that the taxis here are basically not associated with online ride-hailing software. Therefore, if you can't get a taxi, there is no need to increase the price at all. It is very convenient to directly reach out to hail a taxi.

Car rental: We had also considered whether to rent a car to go out with the children. Later, I saw on the Internet that there were many shortcomings in car rental and even some "black industry chains". In the end, I decisively rejected it. First of all, although various local attractions have parking lots, on the one hand, they may have to wait in line for a long time. On the other hand, if the parking is full, it is not safe to have to find roadside parking by yourself. In addition, it is said that tire repairs are quite expensive in the local area and it is easy to puncture tires. Although we just heard about it, we really don't have the time or energy to try it with our children. If you choose to rent a car, it is best to check with the car rental customer service service for the situation.

On the first day, departing from Beijing, Kunming, and connecting to Banna

Arriving at the airport at 12:30, check-in and baggage check-in were very efficient. The China Eastern Airlines VIP lounge had a lunch break. During the epidemic, only one China Eastern Airlines VIP lounge was opened at Daxing Airport, and the meals were all boxed and tasted average, but fortunately they were free.

Let me announce in advance that we are not a local tycoon family. Many bank cards can be redeemed for free in the airport lounge. Everyone can give it a try.

In addition, Daxing Airport has a maternal and infant lounge, with some toys and a cot for the baby to sleep on.

Departs at 16:30. Dinner and plane meal. I booked children's meal in advance on the official website of China Eastern Airlines. The cold meal included a cute bear bread, and the hot meal was tomato flavored pasta.

All major airlines have special meals that can be booked, including baby meals, children's meals, halal meals, vegetarian meals, etc., which can be booked on the official website of each airline.

Kunming transfers for 1.5 hours, and there is no need to pick up luggage. When landing, you need to check Yunnan health code and Beijing's accounting report. The efficiency is still very high.

In addition, Kunming Airport has opened a smoking area. Nowadays, it seems that there are very few airports in the country that have opened a smoking area. Kunming is definitely one of the favorite airports of old smokers.

In addition, the balcony has sliding doors, so the sound insulation is really poor. Especially in the shop downstairs, there is a kid who screams until eleven o'clock every day. But in this location, this price is really very cost-effective. In fact, it is far more than many hotels in the four to five hundred years. Suggest the boss to solve these few minor problems, hoping that it will be better in the future. In addition, the milk tea shop opposite the hotel has been holding activities recently. Coffee and milk tea are good. I stayed for three days and drank it for three consecutive days.

The second stop is "Tropical Rainforest Hiking". There is a large shop at the entrance selling some tourist souvenirs. The things are more expensive. A pack of Qiugui dried 20 yuan. Walking inside is a monkey garden. There are more people than monkeys. The export food stalls have some snacks that can satisfy you. The price is not too expensive. Starting from 20 to 30, rainforest hiking is mainly some climbing events for children. We didn't participate if babies can't play it.

The third stop is "Peacock Villa", which is also the most distinctive landscape in the Primeval Forest Park. The peacock flying performance is once every hour. The singing and dancing are actually not interesting. The fountain feels quite spectacular. You can go in and feed peacocks to take photos with 20 yuan of Peacock Grain. I feel that feeding peacocks is quite worth it. Children rarely see so many peacocks.

The fourth stop scenic exit. Sightseeing buses are really valuable. The distance between each scenic spot is really long. Seeing scattered pedestrians on the road is simply soldiers. If you come here, you must build a battery car.

Overall, it is an ordinary attraction, but fortunately it is close to the city.

There are mountains and water on the road and the scenery feels better than the forest park, but I don't see any wild elephants. Finally, we arrived at the Elephant Museum at the North Gate. The giant pit had several elephant specimens and some elephant bones. They were very small and meaningless. You can take a scenic bus for 5 miles back to the south gate and take a taxi for 10 miles. After returning to the south gate, you can enter after checking your ticket again. However, I suggest you not to come to the North Gate to see the museum.

The Elephant School performance started at 12:00, and we entered early and chose the second row of seats. The lunch cost 148 for two, and the coffee was terrible at 20. The elephant performance is to turn around in circles, kick the ball, and find three female spectators for a beauty pageant. Especially the beauty pageant was quite embarrassing. Pick three female audience members on stage and ask the elephant to choose the best one. Those who were not selected would probably go home and cry for three days, although the elephant chose it... After the performance, feed the elephant, never feed it at the door. You have to go to the Elephant Restaurant. The staff there will make you think it's worth the money. Then there was the lizard garden, which was a pit with two small lizards and a bunch of butterflies in the butterfly garden, so there was nothing else.

The back door of the main Buddhist temple allows you to directly enter Manting Park. This is the royal garden of the Dai King. It was only open to tourists after liberation. There are many plants and many fish in the lake bring a flower cake to feed small fish. It is recommended that everyone bring more fish food to feed the small fish. The animal show was canceled because of the rain, so I didn't see it.

There are so many people, which feels like a Beijing New Year temple fair. It is true that there are more local people than Xingguang Night Market, and the food is much cheaper than there. There are three boxes of fruits here for 10 yuan, and a box for 10 yuan in Xingguang Night Market.

Day 5, Xishuangbanna Tropical Zoo + Botanical Garden of Chinese Academy of Sciences

There are feed sellers at the entrance of the park. Animals all recognize the yellow bucket containing feed and will come over and wait when they see you holding it. Almost all animals can be fed. There is a tiger with a lame leg and looks pitiful. I hope the staff can treat it. In terms of ticket prices and feeding, I actually think the price is good. After all, it is a tourist city, but you can also bring your own carrot buns and the like. Overall, the experience is still very novel, and it is a different pleasure than most zoos that strictly isolate animals and people. It ended at 10:00 and didn't watch the animal show at 11:00.

There are also tourist buses. There are two options: 1. The "Banna Easy Travel" Mini programs include one-day tours to the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, including round-trip buses and park tickets;2. Take the bus from the bus station to travel there by yourself. There are three long-distance stations in Banna, Banna Passenger Station, Jinghong South Station. The bus at Banna Passenger Station seems to be at most one hour on average. The arrival station is the "Menglun" station. After getting off the bus, you will cross the road and you will find the gate of the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

For lunch, the Wanglian Hotel buffet costs 60 per person. It is an ordinary home-cooked dish. There are five or six dishes. It is simple and delicious.

Staying at Wanglian Hotel includes tickets. Contact the hotel in advance to go to window 6 at the ticket gate to issue a certificate, and then the hotel's small battery car will pick it up at the gate. The hotel's battery car can take guests to the main entrance and rear entrance of the park (the north gate of the suspension bridge), but if you visit the park, you still need to purchase a separate battery ticket for the park.

Battery car 50th edge west, if you don't ride a battery car, you will die, but if you ride a battery car, you will die. Anyway, you wouldn't be able to spend a day without spending this money. After spending this money, you feel it's really not worth it...

There is a small shop near dinner. The zebra crossing environment is good and the taste is good. The key point is that it has air conditioning! I don't know if the locals here are more heat-resistant, but it's really not easy to find an air-conditioned restaurant. My children are very afraid of the heat, and air-conditioned restaurants really save most of our lives.

We didn't participate in the night tour. We walked two steps after dinner and saw two or three fireflies. It was really lucky because it was too dark, and the child might not be used to walking a few steps before falling asleep.

Day 6, Chinese Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden + Train Kunming

Alarm clock at 7:30. I have to eat more breakfast today. The hotel's breakfast is reasonable, with eggs and milk available. The rice noodles taste quite good. I called the passenger terminal 1 hour before departure. The hotel checked out at 9:00. I suddenly found that the ticket I bought the day before at the passenger terminal had been lost. However, they did not fight. I was really embarrassed. By the way, the local people in Banna are actually very kind and simple, and they will definitely not go to trap tourists. As for some people from other places who come to the local area to do business, there are good and bad.

9:30 Tour bus returns 25, 2 hours

At 11:00, Jinghong Passenger Station took a taxi back to the hotel to pick up my luggage. I suddenly found that the taxi queue had begun, but fortunately it was not long. Taking a taxi from the hotel to the train station was a dead end. Gao De raised the price to a maximum of 50 but there was no taxi for half an hour. Finally, he stopped a regular taxi on the way and settled it for 20 yuan. After chatting with the driver on the way, I realized that in fact, local regular taxis are not associated with online ride-hailing software, so if everyone finds that online ride-hailing is queuing to increase the price, they can just stop a taxi directly.

There is a small hole in the VIP hall of the train station. There is nothing except two or three packs of snacks. I feel that everyone can just wait in the waiting hall.

Because we are in the city center and just in time for the Friday night rush hour, I feel that the subway is much faster than taking a taxi. There are 2 subway stops and it is quite convenient to get off the subway in 20 minutes.

For dinner, Nanqiang Night Market, Yunping Flavor Garden (must-eat list), cans of pork brain, cans of fat sausage, cans of stinky tofu rice noodles, fresh milk rice feed, Vietnamese spring rolls, and steamed tofu, all taste good. All the dishes are served in small cans and feel very unique.

When buying fruits on the roadside, tropical fruits are extremely sweet and inexpensive, while temperate fruits are extremely expensive (watermelon is eight yuan a catty).

Day 7, Kunming Zoo + Guandu Ancient Town

It takes only half a day to make a full tour. The park is not big and there are not many animals. Secondary consumption inside is a bit disgusting. There are charges almost everywhere. Although the charges are not high, it still feels quite awkward. It feels like a big garden setting a small garden. The photo charge is a bit like the Beijing Zoo thirty years ago.

Lunch Yunqian Line (Yunnan Rice Noodles) is right at the entrance of the zoo. The taste is okay. It seems to be a time-honored brand, and there are a huge number of people queuing.

Guandu Ancient Town:

After taking a taxi for 50 meters, the baby fell asleep on the way. There was a Go themed coffee just after entering the south gate. I bought a cup of coffee and sat for a while until the child woke up and continued shopping. Unexpectedly, the service was extremely poor! The taste is normal and I don't want to say anything, but the service is garbage! The child was asleep, so we bought a cup of coffee and sat outside. At that time, there were no customers at the table outside. After we finished our coffee, we were kicked away! The reason is to consume it in the store. I said, you can see for yourself that we consume it. We have finished the coffee we bought, so we have to leave immediately after drinking it, right? When spending money, God is God, and when the money is spent, I treat you as a grandson! What is it!!

After the children wake up, they stroll around the ancient town, similar to Nanluogu Lane. People who buy things are also from other places, and people who sell things are also from other places. There are no serious things, all tourists. It's a pity that it's a good place. If you create more time-honored local brands in Yunnan, you will definitely have a better reputation.

On the eighth day, Nucleic acid + went home
