First stop: Chongzuo (2 days, cost about 1000 yuan)

8:00 Guangzhou-17:00 Chongzuo is 800 kilometers, estimated to drive 9 hours

After arriving, you can go to Taiping Ancient City to eat and visit the night market. The atmosphere is still good. Taiping Ancient City District in Chongzuo is the second batch of national-level night cultural and tourism consumption gathering areas. Consumption is low and it is open for free.

You can choose to stay nearby at night, and the hotel is still very affordable, 76 yuan per room.

When you wake up the next day, you can go to Detian to cross the Great Waterfall (110 yuan). The recommended tour time is 3 hours. What makes it special is that it is the upper reaches of the Guichun River at the border between China and Vietnam. It is the largest in Asia and the fourth largest in the world. Transnational waterfall is worth a visit.

After playing, drive to Kunming, the second stop is 616 kilometers. The estimated drive is 8 hours. After arriving, you can choose to stay in Guandu District, Kunming City. It is not far from several attractions. The cost is not expensive. It is 71 yuan/room. It is recommended to stay for 2 consecutive nights. You can wash clothes. The bathroom of my hotel has a heater, which can reach 40℃. I use it to dry clothes, haha.

Second stop: Kunming (1-2 days, cost about 500)

After waking up, you can visit Dianchi Lake first. This is one of the must-see attractions. Every year from November to March, there are many seagulls who come here to spend the winter. You can have an intimate contact with the seagulls. It's really a different experience! Feed for seagulls is also very cheap. There are 3 bags for 10 yuan, which is enough for playing and shooting.

Afterwards, you can take a walk in the nearby Haidong Wetland Park, which is also a place where large films can be produced. Don't miss it for beautiful women who like to take photos.

At noon, you can go to Guandu Ancient Town for dinner. There are still many snacks with Yunnan characteristics. After eating, you can stroll around and slowly experience Yunnan characteristics from here.

At 5 or 6 o'clock in the evening, you can go to Nanping Pedestrian Street, Nanqiang Pedestrian Street, and Kunming Old Street. These streets are all very close, so you can definitely stroll for a few minutes and let you taste the delicious food from all over Yunnan. Many of them are not available to me in Guangdong. They are very addictive. There will be many people on the pedestrian street during holidays and few parking spaces, so park early.

If you still have physical strength, it is also very pleasant to have a drink in the old street.

Third stop: Dali (2-3 days, cost about 1300)

There are many tourist attractions in Dali, including Erhaiyue Wetland Park, Sansheng Island, Longkan Gudu, Dali Ancient City, Caicun, Chongsheng Temple Three Towers, Cangshan, Langqiao, Xizhou Ancient Town, Haishue Ecological Park, Shuanglang Ancient Town, Wase Town, Xiaoputuo, Jinsuo Island, Yinsuo Island, etc. Due to the lack of time, I only write a few suggested places and tour routes here...

After getting up at 8 or 9 a.m. in Kunming, I navigated to Dali Binhai Avenue (you can also go directly to Sansheng Island, but I think this is the beginning of the Erhai Lake and there are different scenery to enjoy). I can find a suitable place to park my car and have a meal with the Erhai Lake. I have a zero-distance contact. When I saw the Erhai Lake, I suddenly thought of the song "Even if I don't have money, I will wave to the edge of the Erhai Lake", which is not just beautiful beyond words.

There is a forest on the other side of Xiajia Village. It is very pleasant to take photos and you will get a different beauty.

You can choose to stay near the ancient city of Dali after the first time you feel excited. It is highly recommended to choose accommodation in the ancient city (high price, inconvenient transportation, and noisy at night). I live outside the north gate of the ancient city. It takes only about 10 minutes to walk into the ancient city. It is also convenient to drive, and the room rate is 153 yuan/room.

After a short rest, you can go shopping in the ancient city of Dali. The ancient city is relatively large. If you are not familiar with it, you need to look at the map.

Boai Road, Renmin Road, Huguo Road, and Guangwu Road have more people and stalls. Yu 'er Road is the main carriageway and has little meaning to stroll. I have enough physical strength, so I visited several major city gates. There are still many distinctive Dali Bai restaurants in the ancient city. As a foreigner, everything is fresh. Since I have watched too many TV dramas, I especially want to try the "Water Poplar" and the Bai specialty food "Shibanshao". I just blame my stomach for traveling alone.

After getting up the next day, I can choose to climb Cangshan or Sansheng Tower (about 300 yuan in total). I didn't climb Cangshan due to the itinerary

After waking up and having breakfast, I went to Sansheng Island first. The seaside trails and unique B & Bs on this side of Sansheng Island made me feel happy.

Then you can take a round-the-island tour route to Erhai Lake, Longniche Ancient Ferry-Langqiao-Xizhou Ancient Town-Haishue Ecological Park-Shuanglang Ancient Town

Shuanglang Ancient Town needs to park on the roadside early. The entrance of the ancient town is facing the highway intersection, and there are few parking spaces. The atmosphere of Shuanglang Ancient Town is better than that of Dali Ancient Town. The seaside B & B is exquisite, and there are cruise ships that can travel around the island. It is also one of the must-see attractions in Dali. The perfume pineapples here are very small and very delicious, so you must try them. Forget to mention, Dali has a high terrain and strong ultraviolet rays, so pay attention to protect you from sun protection.

It took me longer than I expected to visit Shuanglang Ancient Town, more than three minutes.

Eat enough and drive along Huandao Road all the way to Xiaoputuo, Wase Town. There are many seagulls this season. In order not to accidentally injure human friends, we suggest that you not fly drones. Xiaoputuo is a very special island, but there were too many people driving by and couldn't find a parking space to take pictures.

Friends who are traveling in depth can also continue to Jinsuo Island (by boat). I heard that the scenery here is also very good. It is very suitable for taking sunsets along Haidong Town and Qase Town. Opposite is Cangshan, and the coastal roads are also very beautiful.

Fourth stop: Lijiang (2-3 days, cost about 1200)

Dali-Lijiang is 220 kilometers away, which takes two and a half minutes. On the way, you pass the famous Shaxi Ancient Town. You can stroll here for a few minutes before heading to Lijiang.

The scenery is beautiful and the moon is free in Lijiang! Stroll in Canger and taste the nostalgia! My first choice is to live around the ancient city of Lijiang. I am not recommended to live in the ancient city unless you need to live for a period of time. The ancient city is very big and the roads inside are complicated. I always look at the Gaode map all the way around, otherwise it will be easy to get lost and the car will definitely be impossible to enter. If you live in it, you can contact the B & B owner to cart out to help you pick up your luggage and lead the way. The room charge around the ancient city is 90-150 yuan, and the price will increase by more than 50% on holidays.

There are also many entrances and exits in the ancient city. I use the southeast gate to enter and exit, because this gate leads to the scenic spot parking lot, which is more convenient. There are not many parking spaces in the scenic area. During the holidays, unless you are early. Another important point is that if you want to go to Yulong Snow Mountain, you must book your tickets before departure. I really didn't get a ticket. I heard that you can get up at 7 a.m. every morning to grab tickets. The scenic spot will release some tickets every day. Therefore, this time, there was no chance to meet the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Because I arrived early, there were not many people in the scenic area, so I simply flew a drone to feel the whole picture of the ancient city.

Flying is not recommended when there are many people to avoid accidental injury.

My walking route first went to Wangulou, which can overlook the entire scenic area and is a good shooting spot. Wangu Tower costs 26.7 yuan (buy and use at Ctrip). This is a landmark building in Lijiang. It is interpreted as "thousand-year-old building" in Dongba script, and it is called "Wengu Wheel" in Naxi, which means that you can view it freely at the commanding heights. Because of its harmonious sound, it is named "Wanguu Tower" and is worth seeing. It is also a good view of the Yulong Snow Mountain from the back mountain. Then I walked around the city and headed for the ancient city's waterwheel. The ancient architecture of the ancient city of Lijiang was unique and dizzying. The young lady who likes to take pictures can also change into ethnic minority costumes to take pictures of different beauty. It is really a photo sacred place. The ticket to Mufu, which is located in the central location, is 40 yuan (booked in advance by Ctrip). I have had a deep tour, and the overall play time is 7 minutes. However, the commercial atmosphere of the ancient city of Lijiang is still a little heavier, and catering consumption is slightly more expensive.

Fifth stop: Shangri-La (2-3 days)

I have to say that Shangri-La is much higher than Lijiang. I had a slight altitude reaction the next day. I need to talk about the room I booked when I arrived at Shangri-La. I stayed at the Millennium Boutique Hotel Shangri-La near Dukezong. There are 3 hotels on the street and there are many branches. Let's see the picture above first

The decoration is very new, mainly gold, the room is large, clean, air conditioning, floor heating, and magnificent. Think about staying here in the weather of-10℃ and walking around the house wearing shorts. The best one is of course 198 yuan/two nights. The price is really good. Another thing I like very much the accents of the local girls here. They are very special.

If you stay for a long time, I suggest you buy a joint ticket (pass for several attractions). Buying a single ticket is really not cost-effective. Some scenic spots say that they are close or far away, and it is inconvenient to drive without a car.

I haven't walked in the mountains for many days. The first choice is Pratuo National Park (entrance fee is 138 yuan). It's so cold that it flies when you get off the bus. Some tourists buy johns on the spot. People like me can endure it. Shangri-La belongs to the edge of Xizang. Most people living here are Tibetans, so the architectural style here is different from other places in Yunnan. In winter, Pratso only opens a part of the scenic spots. The lake water inside is very clear. Coupled with strong ultraviolet radiation, it becomes a blue lake water like a blue demon.

The wild animals that can be seen in the current season are yaks, squirrels, and wild horses. If it were spring, everything would recover and the green grass would be desolate, I believe this place would be more beautiful. Because the scenic area is not fully open, the tour time can be completed in three and a half minutes.

I drove for another half an hour to Songzanlin Temple Scenic Area (entrance fee is 90 yuan). It is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan Province, one of the famous large temples in Kham District, and the Yellow Religion center in Sichuan and Yunnan. It plays a decisive role in the entire Tibetan area and is known as the "Little Potala Palace."

Many people have put on Tibetan costumes and enjoy the fun of taking photos here. The local makeup is also very eye-catching. There are many birds flying around the temple and they will not avoid them because of the large number of tourists. Is this the Buddhist destiny?

If you are not immersed in shooting, you can visit it in one and a half minutes. Then drive for half an hour to the ancient city of Dukezong, which is free. As the oldest castle on the ancient tea-horse road, it is so kind that its unique geographical location and the vicissitudes that an ancient city has experienced to welcome the endless business travelers in the historical sites of the ancient tea-horse road. The plateau beef hot pot here may be more exciting than the Chaoshan beef hot pot, and the price is very close to the people. It is a luxury for me alone. When you come here, you must go to the ancient city of Guishan Park. There is a huge prayer wheel 21 meters high and a total weight of 60 tons. It takes at least 20 people to push it. Moreover, when turning the prayer, you must turn it clockwise at least three times. In the ancient city of Dukezong in Shangri-La, this Tibetan Buddhist practice has become a must-have for tourists to pray for blessings.
