This year's Spring Festival is really extraordinary. It ushered in the longest holiday at work, but I can't feel happy no matter how hard I am. Just like the paragraph wrote, I finally realized what a dog feels like, and I also wanted to go out for a walk. During my idle days growing mushrooms at home, I finally had time to organize and record my previous travels, so I came up with this "outdated" travel note.
Stayed at Howard Johnson International Hotel on the first day in Yunnan, just because it was close to the airport.
When I arrived, I discovered that this hotel actually has a small scenic spot with many peacocks made of flowers. It is very big and beautiful. It can only be said that it is worthy of being the Spring City of Kunming.
There is also a very beautiful church. I heard that weddings can be held. It is very romantic.
After visiting the City of Flowers, we went to the famous Guandu Ancient Town.
Guandu, formerly known as "Wodong", was a fishing village with piles of screw shells on the bank of Dianchi Lake. During the Nanzhao Dali Kingdom, Guandu Ancient Town was already a large market town and transportation hub on the northeastern bank of Dianchi Lake. During the Tang Dynasty, Guandu was an ideal stop for princes of Nanzhao when visiting Dianchi Lake. From about 1180 to 1190, officials often boarded and boarded ships from here, so it was renamed "Guandu". The government seemed to have a soft spot for Guandu, so it simply designated Guandu as a government office under its direct jurisdiction, set up Guandu County Administration in Wodong, and built a city.
Guandu Ancient Town has a long history, making it an ancient town have five mountains, six temples, seven pavilions, eight temples, and many cultural relics. There are more than 10 national, provincial, municipal and district-level cultural relics protection units: Tuzhu Temple built in the Tang Dynasty, Fa Temple in the Song Dynasty, the East Pagoda of Miaozhan Temple in the Yuan Dynasty, and the Confucius Tower and Jingang Tower in the Ming Dynasty. Among them, Jingang Tower is listed as a national-level cultural relics protection unit.
