In recent years, cross-provincial travel has been arranged every year during the summer vacation. The main reason is that the children at home are at school and there are only a few free days during the summer vacation. Daliang Mountain has never been paid attention to before, and it is not a popular tourist destination. The reason why I paid attention to it was because I saw reports on Daliang Mountain Cliff Village and did a simple search. Hey, this place is very suitable for summer vacation, and the temperature is not high. Tourist attractions are also mainly original and there are not too many negative reports.
Travel routes include direct flight from Hangzhou to Xichang, the capital of Liangshan Prefecture, or flight to Chengdu or Kunming, and then train or drive to Xichang. It is recommended that while the height of the child is still free of charge, considering the economy, take a train to Chengdu or Kunming, and then drive to Xichang. This is my arrangement. Two children can save more than 2000 yuan just by traveling.
For long-term trips, we still need to reasonably arrange the general planned route in advance, and fine-tune it within a large framework, based on the premise of having fun and fun. Accommodation should also be based on route planning in advance, understand local accommodation prices and market conditions, and choose a hotel that suits your needs. This trip is planned to take a train from Yiwu to Kunming. It happens that we arrive in Kunming in the morning. Book a car rental in advance and you can pick up the car as soon as you arrive in Kunming.
This trip for the family of four was perfectly controlled within 16000 yuan. Except for the changes in accommodation and food, we will talk about it later during the specific itinerary.
DY1 officially kicks off the journey of Daliangshan Mountain
For children, although the train from Yiwu to Kunming takes nearly 30 hours, you can pass through N tunnels on the train. The different scenery along the way, the children you make on the train, and the terrible meals on the train are all difficult experiences.
There is also an incident here. On the train, I received a call from my company asking me to be careful not to go to high-risk areas of the epidemic or to do a good job in personal epidemic prevention. Fortunately, Liangshan Prefecture and Kunming were not medium to high risk areas at the time. Fortunately, there were no confirmed cases in Zhejiang when the leave was taken, otherwise the trip would have been ruined.
Arriving at Kunming Station at around 7 a.m., Yihi rented a car only a few hundred meters away from the train station, which is very convenient. Considering economy and comfort, I rented a Bora 1.5T sedan with good space. The daily rental fee is about 145 yuan. In addition, in order to save worry, I added a fee of 100 yuan for car damage exemption within a few thousand yuan. After picking up the car, we set out for Xichang, the capital of Liangshan Prefecture. We have basically a high speed all the way. There are few cars on the road. The average speed can reach about 110 per hour. The distance is about 450 kilometers, which takes 5 hours.
The scenery along the way is basically driving through high mountains. There are several sections where fog is very high and visibility is very low. As we approach Xichang, huge windmills can be seen everywhere on the highways wired along the Anning River Valley, and blade transporters transporting wind power can be encountered at any time in the next few days. Later, Du Niang realized that Xichang City was developing wind power as its pillar industry, but it always felt that it might be necessary to ask a question mark whether densely populated areas are suitable for the development of the wind power industry.
It is recommended to live near Laohaiting when you go to Xichang. It is very close to Xichang Lushan and Qionghai Scenic Area. There are many B & Bs and the supporting facilities are relatively mature. We just happened to catch the Torch Festival. When we booked it at the peak season price of 360 per night. We booked it on Ctrip. As a result, due to the epidemic, the domestic situation became severe, and the Torch Festival was cancelled. According to the young girl at the front desk, the Torch Festival was originally a major festival for the Yi people. The entire Liangshan Prefecture has a three-day legal holiday during the Torch Festival. It's so cool. Due to this factor, the hotel temporarily reduced the price of 120 yuan per night for us, which was amazing.
In the afternoon, the plan is Lushan and Qionghai Scenic Area. The main plan is to go to Lushan Scenic Area to see wild monkeys, the cultural landscape with multiple religions such as Buddha, Taoism, Confucianism, etc., and the beautiful scenery overlooking Qionghai. The child was still his favorite, and he only saw a monkey. The area of the scenic area is still quite large. There are many Buddhist temples, Taoist temples, etc., but there may not be many tourists due to the epidemic.
Be sure to taste local specialties when you go to Xichang. Try the famous Xichang Huolan Barbecue. We went to the Li Xiaochang Barbecue that we had previously explored. If we didn't go, we wouldn't have known that a barbecue restaurant could be opened to such a scale. After a brief look, there were at least nearly a hundred tables, and they were basically full. We saw that many local people invited guests. Go to the barbecue shop, which is also a cultural landscape. Maybe I saved the accommodation money and ordered a lot of various small intestines. The taste was still good. In the end, my combat effectiveness was still poor, so I wasted a lot. Due to the high altitude in Xichang, Liangshan Prefecture, the sun is still high at around 7 o'clock. The time difference from Zhejiang should be about two hours, and the temperature is also 345 degrees during the day. However, it is still comfortable without direct exposure to the body temperature. DY2 goes straight to Cliff Village
DY2 goes straight to Cliff Village
Because of this itinerary, we must visit Cliff Village so that the eldest son can experience and understand the customs and living conditions of Liangshan Prefecture. So the next day, my wife took my youngest child and continued to stroll around the Lushan-Qionghai Scenic Area. My eldest child and I went straight to Cliff Village. We went to Cliff Village because we wanted to experience the cliff ladder, so we left at 7:30 in the morning.
There is no expressway from Xichang to Cliff Village yet, only national and provincial roads and county roads are accessible. Therefore, they are basically crossing mountains and ridges, and the lane width is basically only two lanes. Moreover, the route is rapid and has many corners, requiring certain driving skills and experience. On the way there today, I ran into a blade transporter transporting wind power and was stuck in traffic for half an hour. The scenery along the road is still good. It is understood that Liangshan Prefecture is currently supported by Ningbo. I believe that with Ningbo's help and Liangshan Prefecture's own efforts, it will get better and better. On the road, I only saw new poverty alleviation resettlement sites, but the local people I met felt that they were still slightly lacking in spirit.
Arrived at Cliff Village at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, but it was closed due to the epidemic. Thinking that we have arrived at the entrance of the village, we must always let the children experience the ladder. The main equipment to buy is gloves and water. There is also a ladder in the village opposite Cliff Village temporarily changed. In fact, Tiantian is relatively common in Liangshan Prefecture, but Cliff Village only became out of the circle after media reports. I set out to climb the ladder and only climbed two ladder platforms before withdrawing. It was too exposed in the open air. In addition, I overestimated myself. I stepped on the two empty steel pipes and looked at it, my fear of heights broke out and my feet became soft. It was indeed too difficult for the local people to appear and unsafe.
On the way back, I saw a street on the side of the road that specialized in barbecuing local pork and potatoes. I got off the bus and went to taste it. The taste was good. There were many people who ate it. I felt that the taste was even better than Li Xiaochang yesterday. It was estimated that it was mainly local. The two large pieces of local pork, which only cost about 30 yuan, are authentic local pork. It is rare to eat such delicious pork in Zhejiang.
In the evening, we will continue to taste the local delicacies of Xichang. The fish in Xichang Impression Chai Courtyard are good. In addition, the recommended local yogurt Xichang Snow is still delicious. The nights in Xichang are very peaceful. Walking on the streets at night, the breeze blows, and it feels very comfortable to live here.
DY3 Xichang to Lugu Lake
Today, from Xichang to Lugu Lake in Ninglang County, Sichuan, Lugu Lake is usually referred to as Lugu Lake in Yunnan. In fact, most of the waters of Lugu Lake are in Sichuan. The distance is about 260 kilometers, and the road conditions are relatively good. Take National Highway 348 and Provincial Highway 307 to Lugu Lake. However, the roads are mainly two-lane and are basically wired along the valley. There are countless winding roads, probably Liangshan Prefecture. This is the case. The entire trip lasted for almost 6 hours, mainly due to the vehicles transporting wind power blades.
Lugu Lake is very suitable for visiting in summer. It has good scenery and pleasant climate. The local altitude is about 2700 meters. As long as it is not exposed to the sun outside at noon, it will be cool. The B & B we live in, Queqiao Villa, is right next to Caohai Scenic Area. The owner and his family are very kind and gave us a free upgrade to the lake view room. It was also settled on the spot at night. The dendrobium chicken soup cooked by the boss was quite OK. In the afternoon, I also visited Caohai Scenic Area. I walked for a few minutes, walking to Wedding Bridge and Caohai. The development here is quite messy, houses are being built everywhere, and there is no plan. I feel that such a good treasure as Lugu Lake has lost its value.
DY4 Enjoy a tour of Lugu Lake and the Ninety-Nine Miles Hot Spring Waterfall
The scenery of Lugu Lake is very beautiful, and it is an extraordinary beauty. When visiting Lugu Lake, it is recommended to consult the B & B owner and combine the prices learned from your own strategies. It will be cheaper to entrust them to buy cruise tickets. The lake tour lasted about an hour, and I also saw the legendary aquatic poplar flowers, which were white flowers like poplar flowers in the picture. There used to be a famous dish called Populus euphratica. Due to environmental control, it is currently not allowed to be picked.
After the tour of Lugu Lake in the morning, we will go straight to the Ninety-nine-mile Hot Spring Waterfall Scenic Area. The journey is about 260 kilometers. It is another 6-hour drive. It is another eighteen turns on the mountain road. On the road, we encountered a car transporting wind power blades again, and there was a traffic jam. Fortunately, we bought fresh walnuts on the national highway for 10 yuan per catty. It was also the first time we saw a walnut tree. The babies were still very excited.
In the afternoon, when you go to the Jiujiumi Hot Spring Waterfall Scenic Area, I recommend staying at the new hotel Puge Yangquan Hotel, which is right at the entrance of the scenic area. It is very convenient and since it is newly opened, the best hotel nearby is the best hotel. Let's complain here. I'm still a little uncomfortable eating, except for barbecued local pork. The hot springs are indeed very good, and they are worthy of being the world's largest hanging hot spring waterfall. There are also several caves in it, all of which are hot springs, which are very cool. It allows you to truly experience both ice and fire, with hot springs on one side and mountain springs on the other, which is very exciting. The few treasures at home in this scenic area are still full of feelings after they come back. Winter may be more enjoyable when it passes. I just saw the news that all A-level scenic spots in Liangshan Prefecture will be free of tickets for residents with Zhejiang ID cards by 2026, and they will have to check in again next time they have the opportunity. The scenic area and surrounding environment are not very good yet. I look forward to having new changes when I come next time. After all, this place is a treasure trove!
DY5 Regrets of Luoji Mountain
Luoji Mountain has the longest cableway in Asia. After climbing to the top of the mountain, you can overlook the world's largest ancient ice groove and alpine lakes. At night, you can enjoy the unique local Yi flower drum dance. This passage is in the guide and also wants to come and experience it. It is quite close to Luoji Mountain from the hot spring waterfall in the morning, about 45 minutes. When I got there, I encountered a cableway malfunction. I had to regret leaving after waiting for an hour, and I'll come back next time to enjoy it!
Starting from Luoji Mountain to Kunming, on the way, I appreciated the vastness of the Baihetan Hydropower Station and the majestic appearance of the Jinsha River Bridge.
Arrived at Kunming Dianchi Scenic Area in the afternoon and stayed at Chunjiang Huayue Hotel. The overall feeling was good, right on the edge of Dianchi Lake. This is the second time I have visited Kunming, which makes people feel very comfortable. Whether it is climate or urban governance, it is quite good. I saw several sinks on the street. These are the capillaries of urban governance and are quite good. Dianchi Lake has beautiful natural scenery, and everyone you see on the road is leisurely and happy.
DY6 leaves for home
This Xiaobai stayed with her for 6 days, with a total mileage of about 1800 kilometers. Due to the epidemic, the accommodation cost was saved by about 500 yuan compared with the previous Raiders hotels. The failure to visit Luoji Mountain saved 400 yuan, and the failure to visit Kunming Minzu Village saved 250 yuan. The failure to visit Cliff Village saved 200 yuan, the return flight saved about 3700 yuan, and the meal cost was about 200 yuan more than expected. It cost a family of four 9 days on the road (including train time), a total of about 12500 yuan (including about 1500 yuan for accompanying gifts).
Travel thousands of miles and appreciate the variety of life. Always on the road, whether it is life, work, or travel, feel every moment with your heart and experience the beauty of the world!
