We set off on March 13, 2021 and took my parents to travel to Yunnan. The trip was away for a total of 8 days, two of which were on the road, and a total of 6 days for the official tour.
My travel notes record in detail the process of playing along the way, and may not have beautiful words. However, every attraction you visit is recorded in detail, including accommodation, catering, matters needing attention, etc., for your reference.
Not counting the two days on the road, starting from the official tour:
stroke
Day1: Kunming: Haigeng Dam, Cuihu Park, Nanping Street
Day2: Dali Ancient Town
Day3: Three Towers of Chongsheng Temple, Ecological Corridor of Yanxi Village, Rape Field, Ancient Town of Xizhou, Shuanglang, Huanhai East Road, Dose Xiaoputuo
Day4: Lijiang Ancient Town (Dayan Ancient Town)
Day5: Lanyue Valley and Shuhe Ancient Town under the Yulong Snow Mountain
Day6: Mufu, Black Dragon Pool, Lion Rock Wangulou
Arrive in Kunming in the evening and check in at the hotel
The hotel chose the GreenTree Inn Express Hotel (Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street Golden Eagle Shopping Plaza Branch) located in the city center near Nanping Pedestrian Street. The environment is very good. In the center of Kunming, there are commercial streets nearby, and you can also go shopping.
Day1 (Sunday, March 14)
Qiaoxiangyuan Rice Noodles
Early the next morning, I went to Qiaoxiang Garden near the hotel to eat rice noodles. Qiaoxiang Gardens are everywhere in Yunnan.
haitang dam
Take a taxi from the place to eat to Haigeng Dam in Dianchi Lake and get off at Sunshine Bund. This is the starting point of Haigeng Dam. Haigeng Dam is the place where the red-billed gulls gather the most. More than 7000 seagulls fly here every year, which is a good way to watch seagulls. One of the best attractions. The time to watch seagulls is from early November to mid-March every year, so I specially rush to come here at this time, and there will be no more later. The sea ridge dam without the seagulls is not very interesting.
It took an hour to walk and feed the seagulls. Further down is Haigeng Park. It felt like it should be similar to this place, so I didn't continue walking.
cuihu Park
It doesn't mean much. I didn't see seagulls in an ordinary park. You don't have to go if time is tight.
I ate the fried tofu recommended online in the park, and I didn't feel like it had much taste. Maybe it would taste if it was dipped in hot sauce, but I don't eat spicy food. I wanted to order sweet sauce, but there was no one. It doesn't taste good.
Eat in Fenghuixi Building
For lunch, Xianxi Building is opposite Cuihu Park.
This is a shop I found online before. I like to find delicious food online before traveling anywhere. After all, eating is also a very important part of travel. It is worth spending some time on it.
He had a lot of family and needed to wait for a table. Fortunately, he entered after queuing for 5 minutes and sat in the courtyard to eat.
Broken crispy buns are the specialty of his family. There are two kinds of sweet and salty. The sweet ones I ordered are delicious. The best thing about this steamed bun is the crispy crust.
Taro jelly is very soothing. Charcoal roast beef kebabs are also quite delicious.
Stewed ham with kidney beans: The ham is stewed quite rotten and melts immediately in the mouth. The kidney beans absorb the aroma of ham and the soup is thick. This dish is the best!
Go back to the hotel and go downstairsNanping StreetStrolling around. There are many streets here, so I just took a brief stroll.
Go to Kunming Station
Kunming-Dali (train 2.7 hours)
Dali Ancient City Fangzhou Muzhai Inn
It was already past 8 o'clock in the evening when I arrived at the inn, right in the ancient city, located on the lower section of Renmin Road, in the alley opposite the "I'll Wait for You in Dali" Hotel. There is a garden on the second and third floors, and a lot of meat is grown on the roof platform.
Day2 (Monday, March 15)
Early the next morning,Visiting the ancient city of DaliThere were not many people when I came out after 9 o'clock. Many shops were not open, so I went to the nearest restaurant nearby for breakfast. The beef noodles taste good.
When traveling to a place, you must eat local specialties. Bael nuggets, milk fans, and Xizhou Baba are all characteristics of Dali. I am going to buy and try them while shopping.
The first thing I saw was that this bait cake was another shape of rice cake. It had sweet and salty flavors. It was wrapped in sauce, chopped peanuts, etc., and then wrapped in fried dough sticks and baked.
There are a total of four gates in the ancient city of Dali. The south gate is the most lively one, because of the inscription "Dali" written by Guo Moruo, it is also called Dali Gate. North Gate has no actual name. The west gate is facing Cangshan Mountain, so it is called Cangshan Gate. The East Gate is called Erhai Gate because it faces the Erhai Lake. The place we live is close to the Erhai Gate. Although it is called the Erhai Gate, it is still a certain distance away from the Erhai Lake.
Now we start to walk in the direction of the most lively south gate. When we arrive at Foreign Street, there are gradually more people here, and the shops are all open. Foreign Street is not long. It will end after a short walk. Go back and walk back to the main road.
Starting from Yangji Milk Fan and McDonald's, it is the most lively place on Renmin Road. I want to eat Milk Fan, but I am full for breakfast and plan to come back to eat it when I come for the night view.
WuhualouIt is a landmark building in the ancient city of Dali. Climb the Wuhua Tower and you can see the panoramic view of the ancient city of Dali.
There is a piece of meat on the roof of Wuhua, and you can see the Cangshan Mountain behind it.
Take a photo of the ancient city
After passing Wuhua Building, turn right. There are also very many people here. Many people stood up to take photos. After a long time, when no one stood up, I took a quick photo.
Further down, this road is full of small shops on both sides and running water in the middle.
We are almost here, so we will go back and find a place to have lunch.
Duan Gongzi·Tianlong Babu Special Physical Examination Shop
Very close to the inn where I stayed. Thought I had to queue up, but fortunately, there were not many people.
This dessert is called "Paoluda", a very famous snack in Yunnan. It was first popular in Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar and Thailand, and later gradually spread to Yunnan.
Coconut milk + three slices of crispy bread with blueberry sauce on top of it. The bread is soaked and eaten. It is very delicious, but the key point is very greasy. You can refill it once for free. I refilled it after eating all the dishes.
Duan's glutinous rice pork ribs, fried eggs with black truffles, and braised tofu with soy sauce. Among them, glutinous rice ribs are the most delicious.
Pineapple rice is sour and sweet.
There were no other arrangements except for Gucheng today. I rested at the inn for the afternoon of lunch and dinner. Come out at night to see the night view of the ancient city.
It's late here, and I come out at nearly 7 o'clock in the evening. It's still very bright. It's not until 8 o'clock when I shop really feels like night.
I went to Wuhua Building again to see what was different from what I saw during the day.
This is the gate of Nancheng City. You need to swipe your ID card to enter and exit the gate.
I walked here again and ate what I wanted in the morningroasted milk fan。7 yuan each. The milk fan is made of dried milk and then coated with sauce. People who like it will like it very much, and those who don't like it will not get used to it. A passer-by saw me eating this and asked if I was used to it. He said that he had bought it last time in Dali and didn't dare to try it again.
Although I usually don't like to drink milk, I like to eat cheese, cheese, etc., so I'm used to this, and the taste is similar to eating cheese.
Therefore, among Yunnan's specialty snacks: bait nugget, milk fan, and Xizhou Baba, I think the most delicious of these three is this milk fan, and the other two are average.
Day3 (Tuesday, March 16)
today isaround Erhai Lake, Erhai Lake is very big, so you can only charter a car to play. I found a privately customized independent chartered car for a day trip in Ctrip. I didn't have to carpool with strangers. The three of us chose the option of 1-4 people. He used the car as a unit, and no matter whether it was one person or four people. The price is 319 yuan in total. Mine is a pure play price. If you need a travel photo, it's a different price.
You can decide which places you want to play, ask for any requirements, and get off and take photos wherever you can park. When we go to an attraction, we can play by ourselves. After the tour is over, call the driver and he will come over soon to pick us up to the next attraction. I think this is good, comfortable and free.
The driver's surname is Zhao. He added WeChat the night before to communicate with me about the attractions and departure time to visit the next day. He also helped us buy insurance. It was quite formal. He came to pick us up at the intersection of the inn where I stayed at 8:30 the next morning. Because I booked a famous hotel in Shuanglang that night and was not going back to the ancient town, I took my luggage and put it in the trunk. Along the way, Master Zhao introduced to us the attractions of Erhai Lake and some local folk customs.
First stop: Three Towers of Chongsheng Temple
As long as today's tasks were Erhai Lake and Shuanglang, the third towers of Chongsheng Temple did not enter, so they took photos at the door.
Second stop:Qixi Village Ecological Corridor (Internet celebrity S-type Highway)
This is the seaside plank road in Qianxi Village. There are many s highways in this village. Now it has become an Internet celebrity attraction because of this. On the left is a neat white B & B building, and on the right is a beautiful sea view without shelter.
Third stop: rapeseed field
This is not very interesting, you can take photos.
Fourth stop: Xizhou Ancient Town
Xizhou Ancient Town is quite interesting. It is different from Dali Ancient Town. It has a completely different style. It is an ancient town where the Bai people in Dali gather and has a unique flavor. We went in at 10 o'clock, played for about 3 hours, and lunch was settled inside.
Many people bought this kind of tie-dyed and famous costumes along the way.
We didn't enter the Yan family compound. Those who are interested can go in and have a look.
After eating Xizhou Baba, there are two flavors: sweet and salty. The sweet one has rose sauce in it, and the salty one has meat in it.
There are too many people taking photos here in this old tulou. When there is no one taking photos, we can only do this.
Next is the focus of Xizhou's itinerary, Xilin Garden Red Wall and Blue Continuous Tie-dyeing
This is the red wall of Xilin Garden, which is very charming. There is a field of rapeseed flowers in front of it. March every year is the season of rapeseed flowers. There are also people taking wedding photos here.
Next is blue tie dyeing. Dali Xizhou is most famous for three things: tie dyeing, embroidery, and broken cake cake. When it comes to tie-dyeing, the most famous shop is Lan Xu. This is a place where you can experience the ancient method of tie-dyeing, and it is also the shooting place of famous Internet celebrities before. The best thing about its home is that it can take photos at will regardless of consumption or not, and no one will criticize you. There was no one when I went there, so I took pictures for a long time.
See this sign and enter this alley.
After entering, this is the first floor, and taking photos directly to the second floor.
Take photos here and show special photos
Before leaving Xizhou, I had a casual bowl of noodles, followed by the next important attraction: Shuanglang
There was a place to feed seagulls halfway through the way. Master Zhao asked us to come down and take photos
Fifth stop: Shuanglang
It was quite a long way from Xizhou to Shuanglang. After driving for a while, I arrived at Shuanglang at 2 o'clock.
After entering, there is a section of ancient town street with shops on both sides. There is no need to stroll too much here. Just walk through this Yuji Bridge. In the past, Yuji Island is in the past. Yang Liping's Sun Palace and Moon Palace are both there.
Climb up from here and take a close picture of the Erhai Lake
The Moon Palace is closed, and the Sun Palace is now a teahouse. You need to spend more than 100 yuan to enter. Just take some photos outside
Start returning, and then go back to the other side of the bridge. This road is the road leading to Nanshao Fengqing Island for ticket sales.
After passing the ticket office of Nanshao Fengqing Island, I think it is the most beautiful scenery in Shuanglang. Maybe many people will not go down again, because the next long distance is full of famous hotels with sea views. After reading it, you will know why this place was chosen for the listed accommodation, because the Erhai Lake you see in front of it is the most beautiful section. If you want to stay in a famous hotel with sea views on Shuanglang, consider it.
On the other side is Nanshao Style Island, we didn't go up there
Just like that, the double corridor ended and played for about 2 hours. Next, we move on to the last attraction.
It took a long time to go from double corridors to color digging, but the scenery halfway through was great. Shuanglang, Digse and Xiaoputuo all belong to Haidong, and Xizhou is Haixi. The weather on the east route around the sea in the afternoon is good, and you can see the sunset, and the water is shining brightly in the afternoon and very beautiful. You can get off the bus at any time on the way to take photos. I recorded it in the carHuanhai East Roadthe scenery.
Sixth stop: Digse, Xiaoputuo
This is Little Putuo. Little Putuo is a very small island, just above the town of Qose. If you want to go up, you can take a small boat and there is a rope holding it. We didn't go up, so we just looked on the shore.
The camera zoomed in and took a picture.
The time for digging was not long, about 20 minutes. Today's journey ends. I booked a famous hotel in Shuanglang, and Master Zhao kept sending us to the door of the famous hotel.
Puqi·Guiqu Laixi Seaview B & B is located in Dajianbian Village, Shuanglang Town. It is very close to the north gate of Shuanglang Ancient Town and takes a ten-minute walk.
Each room has a balcony for a sea view. The lawn on the first floor lobby outside the Erhai Lake is so beautiful, and there are also various props for taking photos.
Free breakfast is provided, including white porridge or rice noodles, and other fixed egg and fried buns.
The house is right next to the Erhai Lake and has zero contact with the Erhai Lake. You can hear the sound of the waves when you sleep in your bed.
Day4 (Wednesday, March 17)
Stayed in Shuanglang for one night and had free breakfast the next morning
Then I took photos in the garden of Mingshu, and went to the most beautiful place in Shuanglang that I mentioned yesterday. I walked there for about 10 minutes to see the difference between the scenery I saw in the morning and in the afternoon. It was nearly noon after I got back.
I was going to Lijiang in the afternoon. I was going to go to Lijiang by train. Yesterday, Master Zhao said that Shuanglang is already very close to Lijiang. If I go to take the train, I have to take the train to Dali Railway Station first, which takes more than an hour, and then take the train again. It takes more than 2 hours. After getting off the train, I have to take a taxi to the ancient city. It is better to take a bus directly to Lijiang on Shuanglang, and you can drive directly to the entrance of Lijiang Ancient City. We asked him to help book a commercial bus to Lijiang for 70 yuan per person.
The bus left on time at 12:30 p.m. and arrived in Lijiang in three hours. It got off directly at the north gate of the ancient town.
Lijiang, we booked a reservation for Lijiang Ancient Town (Dayan Ancient Town)Lijiang Nanyueli Light Luxury and Elegant Accommodation, close to the north gate of the ancient town, we sent a WeChat message to the inn after we arrived, and soon someone came to pick us up. The ancient city is a stone road, and it is definitely not as easy to haul our luggage on flat ground. They also helped us haul our luggage. It's not far away, and we'll arrive at the inn soon.
The hotel is in a good location. It is 50 meters away from the big waterwheel, and it is also very close to Sifang Street. It is only a street away from Bar Street. It is super convenient to travel and is located in a quiet place in the middle of the city. The inn has a super beautiful courtyard. It is a small square courtyard. The voice "Xiao Ai" in the room controls the entire venue, a smart toilet, and a large and comfortable bed.
After moving in, I immediately brought up an afternoon tea, which was quite delicious.
After resting for a while, I went out, shopping while looking for dinner.
Found a place for dinner:Apo pork ribs
The preserved pork ribs hot pot is a must-eat when you come to Lijiang, so I came to try it. I bought the set meal for 109 yuan and added an extra serving of tofu skin.
The pork ribs are the taste of bacon. The potatoes are different from ours. They are crispy. Then the green ones are called "aquatic poplar flowers" and they are not used to eating them.
After eating and continuing shopping, this is the most lively place: Sifang Street
A group of people danced around
next go toBar Street, be sure to come here at night, the lights are colorful and very beautiful.
Next is the big water wheel!
Wish Wind Chimes Corridor
Enter Dayanhua Lane
Walking up this step, you can go to the "Meet Lijiang Square" and the "Eye of Lijiang Observation Deck". However, the observation deck is not very effective at night, so it's better to take pictures during the day.
That's it for today. I'm going back to the inn to rest. I have to get up early tomorrow to go to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Blue Moon Valley
Day5 (Thursday, March 18)
The next morning, I had free breakfast at the inn. Breakfast includes rice noodles, porridge, corn, steamed buns, and eggs. His rice noodles are very delicious. They are the best rice noodles I have ever eaten during the whole journey (I forgot to take pictures).
The ancient city is particularly clean early in the morning
Take No. 101 to Yulong Snow Mountain. It costs 15 yuan/person one way. The whole journey takes about 1 hour, including the staff's collection time.
We only play at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountainblue Moon Valley, I don't go up the snowy mountains, so those who only play Blue Moon Valley can refer to my route.
We went to Zhongyi Market at Qidian Station and took a bus. It was about 1 kilometer from the inn and we walked there. Get off at the last stop,"Yulong Snow Mountain".
When we are approaching the finish line, the car will stop for a while, and some staff will come up to collect a 100 yuan fee for entering the mountain. Regardless of whether we go to the snowy mountains or not, we will have to pay it. Those who go to the snowy mountains will have to buy an additional 140 yuan ropeway ticket.
In addition, friends who want to go to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain are reminded to buy cableway tickets online a few days in advance. You can buy them on the "Lijiang Tourism Group". Because the staff who collected the entrance fee came up and said that the cableway tickets for that day had been sold out, they could not buy them when they went to the site, and there were no tickets for the next day. So two people on the bus stopped going because they didn't buy tickets in advance. After riding for so long, it would be a waste of time and energy to take the bus again because I didn't buy a ticket in advance.
After collecting the fee, he quickly entered the scenic area. After getting off the bus, he entered through this Snow Kitchen Restaurant. Line up to buy a 20-yuan sightseeing ticket, and then take the sightseeing bus. Only the Shuiyue bus at the second stop for Lanyue Valley. (There is also a battery car for sightseeing in the Blue Moon Valley, which is 50 yuan per person. It is suitable for elderly people who don't walk much. Generally, they don't need it. The Blue Moon Valley is not long, and it won't be very tired while taking photos while walking. If you are going to take a battery car, get off the bus at the first stop when the sightseeing bus arrives, and then you can take the battery car. If you are just going to walk and visit Blue Moon Valley, get off at the second stop. These drivers will not take the initiative to tell you, so don't get off at the wrong stop)
I took the car to the second stop, Sir Shuiyue. It is not cold in Blue Moon Valley, so I can wear my usual clothes. Old people and children can play. The scenery is really amazing. It's best to come on a sunny day.
After getting off the bus, walk to the right. You saw this Baishuitai, which is the starting point of Blue Moon Valley. Then turn around and walk back and forth from where you got off the bus just now, keep walking, taking pictures while walking. Each section will have a different feeling. After walking to the end, we can just turn back and wait for the bus. We played here for more than 3 hours.
The car drove back to Snow Kitchen Restaurant at about 3 p.m., where there were 48 people/person in the cafeteria. I don't recommend eating here. This is the worst meal I have eaten throughout the journey. Not only is the variety very poor, but the food is still cold. Even if you come to eat at meal time, it won't be any better. After all, there are only a few grids for holding vegetables.
Next, I'm going to goShuhe ancient townWalking around, I decided not to take the Yulong Snow Mountain special bus. The special bus costs 45 yuan for three people. After getting off the bus, I can take a taxi to Shuhe. It costs more than 50 yuan in total. However, I saw that taking a taxi directly to Shuhe Ancient Town only costs more than 40 yuan, which is more cost-effective, and there is no need to change buses.
I found dinner for dinner, but I didn't have enough food in the Yulong Snow Mountain. I found a famous small pot of rice in Shuhe Ancient Town.Fuxian small pot rice Yunnan folk restaurant
Compared with his family's special small pot rice, I prefer the sweet and sour pineapple beef. It's sour and sweet. I like to eat sweet and sour dishes most. Finally, he mixed all the only soup into the rice and ate it.
After dinner, we will return to Dayan Ancient Town to rest.
Day6(3/19Friday)
It's my last day in Lijiang, so I'll go first in the morningmufu, just walk from where you live to Mufu more than 700 meters.
Early morning in the ancient city of Lijiang
We have arrived at Mufu. Mufu is the residence of the Mu Tusi in Lijiang for generations. The building combines the architectural style of the Central Plains in the Ming Dynasty with the craftsmanship of the Bai and Naxi ethnic groups. It is exquisite and spectacular. Xu Xiake once praised that "the beauty of the palace is similar to the king." Today, Mufu is a landmark in the ancient city, attracting countless tourists to enjoy it.
Although Mufu is a Tusi Mansion, the palace is not as magnificent as the royal family. It is said that it was "built in imitation of the Forbidden City". In its heyday, there were more than 100 palaces.
A few years ago, I watched a TV series "Mufu Fengyun", which was filmed here. There is a saying that visiting Lijiang without seeing Mufu is almost equivalent to not coming to Lijiang. Tickets are 40 yuan.
We climbed to the top of Mufu, the Mufu Observation Deck, where we could take panoramic views. This place is connected to the Lion Mountain Wanguo Building in the Ancient City of Lijiang. When we reached the top of Mufu, we would soon reach Lion Mountain. However, due to the epidemic, this gate was closed, and we were about to reach Lion Mountain. Now, if you want to go to Lion Rock, you can only return to the ancient town and climb again.
We had to return the same way and leave Mufu. We decided to go to the Black Dragon Pool first and put Lion Mountain last. Anyway, we had to return to the ancient city in the end.
black Dragon poolIt used to be a Longwang Temple in Lijiang. There are many springs next to the temple, and water forms a pool. Because the spring water is like jade and can reflect the Yulong Snow Mountain, it is also called "Jade Spring Park". This is the water source of the ancient city of Lijiang. You can see the spring column gushing out of the water by the spring pool. The spring water is very clear.
Back in the ancient city of Lijiang, because it was already check-out time at 12 o'clock, I went to the inn to check out first and stored my luggage at the inn. Come out for lunch and then go to Lion Rock.
I found a random restaurant for lunch and ate dumplings and pot wrapped pork
The ancient city is still very beautiful, with flowers everywhere.
This is the way to Lion Rock
Lion mountainWhen I arrived, I bought 35 tickets on site and 28 tickets online.
Lion Rock is the highest peak in Lijiang Ancient City and the best place to enjoy the panoramic view of Lijiang Ancient City. The Wangu Tower on Lion Mountain stands at the highest point of this ancient city.
The Lion Rock Observation Deck is the best place to take pictures of the ancient city. Although Wangu Tower is taller, photos inside Wangu Tower have to be taken through glass, and there is only a small gap for your hand to reach out.
See? It's only 150 meters away from the observation deck of Mufu where we visited before. Unfortunately, the connecting door is sealed. Otherwise, we would have come from the observation deck of Mufu and don't have to climb the mountain again.
Up from here, it isWanggulouYes. Wangu Tower is located on the top of Lion Mountain on the west side of the ancient city of Lijiang. It is a manor building of the ancient Mu's Tusi family. The pavilion is decorated with carved scenery and has a very atmospheric appearance. Wangu Tower itself is also a building worth visiting. This attic has a total of 13 angled corners, symbolizing the thirteen peaks of Yulong; there are 2300 auspicious patterns such as stars and moons in the carvings, all of which are very exquisite and represent the 23 ethnic groups living in Lijiang; In addition, there are dragon patterns, caisson wells, stone carvings, etc., each with its own characteristics. Don't miss it when visiting.
Climb to the top floor and take pictures. There are windows on all sides, and there are only a few gaps where you can reach out to take pictures
After taking pictures, I went back to the inn to pick up my luggage, and this trip ended here.
precautions
weather: When I came to Kunming this time, it was 25 degrees, and it was 22/23 degrees in Dali and Lijiang. It was sunny every day. It is cool in the morning and evening and hot at noon. Wear a sweater during the day and add a coat in the morning and evening.
Accommodation:All of them were booked in advance on Ctrip.
If you have any questions, you can ask them and you will reply when you see them.
