This trip to Lugu Lake and Shangri-La was a semi-free trip recommended by friends, with no shopping at all. When arriving in Lijiang, Wenwen provided a free pick up and arranged the airport. The service was very considerate. In October, we met their family was having an event and gave us free stay at Lijiang Jingyi Time Inn. The itineraries in Shangri-La and Lugu Lake were both masters and tour guides. The itinerary along the way was reasonable, there was no rush, I was free to play, and I didn't go to a shopping store at all. The accommodation in Lugu Lake was a lake-view room and I really liked it. Friends who plan to go to Lijiang can ask Wenwen to plan their itinerary before setting out to play.
Because we had been to the Ancient City of Lijiang earlier, we chose to fly at 23 o'clock that night. It was late at night when we arrived in Lijiang. I am very grateful to Wenwen for arranging the pick-up. We called us as soon as we got off the plane to pick us up and take us to the Ancient City Inn. The next day, the early master came to pick us up to start our trip to Shangri-La.
[Accommodation Arrangements]
The first night of our stay in Lijiang was donated by Wenwen, and I extended my stay in Lijiang later. The accommodation in Shangri-La is a Tibetan-style hotel with heating and heart-warming. I live in a lake view room in Lugu Lake. You can see the lake view by pulling the curtains.
Travel tips are included at the end
The layout of the guest room is filled with exotic customs, simple but elegant.
The dog raised by the boss is called "Flower Blossom" and it is a girl.
Shangri-La, the last paradise in the world
The place where the sun first shone was Jiantang in the east, and the most beautiful place in the world was Shangri-La on the River of the Taizi River. Shangri-la means "sun and moon in the heart" in Tibetan. It is the city and capital of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province. It is located in the northwest of Yunnan Province and in the hinterland of the Hengduan Mountains of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is the junction of the three provinces of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet, and is also the location of the world natural heritage "Three Rivers Parallel Flowing" scenic spot.
[Gadan Songzanlin Temple]
Gadan Songzanlin Temple is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan Province and one of the famous large temples in Kham District. It plays a pivotal position in the entire Tibetan area and is known as the "Little Potala Palace." The entire temple imitates the layout of the Potala Palace in Lhasa and is built according to the mountains.
It is recommended to follow the temple guide, otherwise it will really be a cursory tour. My commentator is a tall, handsome, dark-skinned Tibetan guy. He patiently introduces history and culture to everyone and promotes Tibetan Buddhism. There is no distinction between sects and sects, and differences between different cultures and different ethnic groups must be respected. Coming here with a pious and humble heart, whether you believe in Buddhism or not, it is a baptism of mind and mind.
The main hall is solemn and luxurious, with colorful murals and exquisite brushwork, mainly describing historical sites and allusions and promoting Buddhist teachings.
The two main temples of Zhacang and Jikang were built at the highest point and located in the center of the temple. They have the architectural style of Han-style temples.
[Ramyangcuo Lake]
Ramyangcuo Lake, which means "Soul Lake of the Virgin Mary" in Tibetan, is said to be the soul lake of the goddess Bandanram. Walk around the lake along the lakeside plank road. The water is as clear as a mirror and the lakes and mountains complement each other. The viewing platform of Ramyangcuo Lake is the best shooting point for Songzanlin Temple.
Waterbirds can be seen everywhere in the lake.
[Napahai]
Napahaiila Grassland is the largest and most beautiful grassland in Shangri-La. Yila means "Leopard Mountain" in Tibetan, and is named after the legend that Leopard Mountain located on the north side of the Yila Grassland Gate is a "sacred mountain". The Napahaiyila Grassland is actually a place. During the rainy season, there is sufficient water and most of the grasslands are covered by lake water, which becomes the sea. The locals call it "Haizi". In non-rainy seasons, there is little water and more grass, and the lake water deteriorates and becomes a large meadow.
The sky is green, the wild is vast, and the wind blows the grass low to see cattle and sheep
It is recommended to choose horseback riding when entering the grassland. After all, there are still many muddy and low-lying areas and piles of horse dung on the grassland. Riding is a self-funded event. There are roughly four ABCD routes, and the cost is between 100 and 280 yuan.
Two cows that ignore people moo.
[Dukezong Ancient City]
The ancient city of Dukezong was built in accordance with the Shambhala Utopia in Buddhist scriptures. It has two meanings: "castle built on stone" and "moonlight city".
Hanging prayer flags is a form of prayer and sacrifice in Tibetan Buddhism and folk customs. It originates from the ancient Tibetan Bon religion's custom of worshipping the gods of heaven and earth. Prayer flags are often printed with various incantations, prayers, tigers, lions, roc, dragons and tara. Every time the prayer flag flutters, it recites the scripture to heaven. The five colors blue, white, red, green and yellow are usually used to symbolize blue sky, white clouds, flame, green water and the earth respectively.
The post offices in the ancient city are filled with all kinds of beautiful postcards.
Sending postcards has become my travel habit.
Walking in the ancient city, the dog at the entrance of the coffee shop poked his head out.
[Tusi Manor Tusi Banquet]
The Tusi Banquet is a higher treatment than ordinary Tibetan home visits and is a very worthwhile activity. Tibetan houses are generally three-story, with walls built with soil on three sides, and wood is used for spacing inside the house. The first floor is a livestock pen; the second floor is occupied and the most luxurious room is the Buddha Hall; the third floor is a place where saffron and other medicinal materials and yak meat are dried. Before sitting down, you can visit the Tusi's house by yourself. We can eat whatever we want. It's all yak meat. If we don't eat enough, we can add meat as we please.
[Dafo Temple Sutra Wheel]
The Buddhist Sutra Rotating Tube of Dafo Temple is made of pure copper and gilded. The upper end of the tube wall is engraved with embossed seals with the four major Bodhisattva Manjusri, Samantabhadra, Guanyin and Ksitigarbha. The lower end is engraved with the eight treasures of the Buddhist family. The tube also contains a total of 1.24 million Buddhist mantras, wordless mantra, etc., and 16 tons of various Buddhist treasures.
To rotate such a huge prayer tube, several strong men need to work hard at the same time. Every rotation in the direction is equivalent to reciting 1.24 million Buddhist names. After three weeks, you can eliminate disasters and pray for blessings, and you will be lucky.
That day, I rotated all the prayer tubes, not for transcendence, not for the next life, but for your warmth.
[Pudacuo National Park]
"Pudacuo" in Tibetan means to reach the other side of the lake by boat with the help of God. It is China's first national park, 22 kilometers away from the Urban area of Shangri-La City, with a total area of approximately 1313 square kilometers. The park has geological landforms, lakes and wetlands, forest meadows, river valleys and streams, rare animals and plants, etc., and the original ecological environment is well preserved. Follow the tourist bus into Pudacuo National Park, which can be divided into three tourist attractions in total, namely Yudu Lake, Grassland Observation Platform, and Bitahai. Each tour bus is equipped with a scenic spot guide to explain the scenery and ecological landscape along the way to passengers. Pudacuo has the Bita Sea and Shudu Lake as the main components, with an altitude of 3500 meters to 4159 meters. The two beautiful freshwater lakes, Bita Sea and Shudu Lake, are known as the pearls of the plateau. The lakes are rich in split-belly fish and heavy-lipped fish. Bita Sea is famous for its rhododendron trees all over the mountains and plains. Every May and June, the rhododendrons bloom, and the petals fall into the lake. After eating, the fish will turn over their bellies and surface to the water. It is called the "Rhododendron Drunken Fish".
Shudu Lake is the first attraction, and there are three ways to view the scenery. The first is to take a tourist bus to watch along the way; the second is to take a bridge on the lake, which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to play; the third is to take a cruise ship to watch the scenery, and the boat fee is 50 yuan.
Today is cloudy and gray all morning. The sky slowly began to clear up until we reached the last stop of the Bita Sea.
Pudacuo National Park is rich in animal resources.
I am going back to Lijiang from Shangri-La, and then I am going to Lugu Lake. I love the sea and the grassland. I saw the most beautiful grassland in the Napa Sea in Shangri-La. I am going to Lugu Lake to see the most beautiful "sea". I think it must be Liang Jingru gave me the courage.
tips
1. Shangri-La's best choice is to find local people to help with booking tickets, planning, and accompanying drivers, which is both worry-free and cheap.
2. The temperature in Pudacuo Park is low on cloudy days, so you must wear warm and cold-proof clothes to enter the park. There is a stall for renting down jackets at the entrance of the park. Our down jackets and oxygen were provided by Wenwen. In the car, the master will also prepare a raincoat, which is very considerate
