Shuhe ancient town

Blue sky and white clouds, I especially like this atmosphere. Only Lijiang has marshmallows

Is she the Xiaofang in your heart?

The flowing water is gurgling, and I especially like such a clear and quiet stream

Little boy, rarely worries

Shuhe Ancient Town is a very distinctive one and very popular one. When you come to Shuhe Ancient Town, you should visit this store. Time-honored brands are time-honored brands. They are by no means worthy of their reputation. The food they make is indeed delicious, and the price is not expensive. Not that many people go to the meal. It is indeed popular. You should go to Shuhe Ancient Town, Lijiang!

Baisha ancient town

Baisha Ancient Town is not very famous, and many people who come to Lijiang do not know about this place. So it's not a place where many tour groups go. This place also seems more peaceful. In fact, it is not very far from Dayan Ancient Town, only 10 kilometers away, and there are buses that can be reached directly in the city. Transportation is still very convenient.

As early as the Tang Dynasty, when King Nanzhao granted Yulong Snow Mountain the "Northern Mountain", Mu's ancestors (then King Lijiang) began to build Baisha Street and Beiyue Temple here. Baisha is the ancient capital of the Naxi people. It was once the political, economic, commercial and cultural center of Lijiang. During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, until the early Ming Dynasty in 1383, the Mu family moved to Dayan Town, where Mufu is now located.

When I came here, I found that there were many small shops with unique characteristics and atmosphere. However, compared with the bustling people of Dayan Ancient Town, there were many fewer people on the streets here. Moreover, you can see many local people selling vegetables, etc. Walking here, you will unknowingly enter the lives of the local people.

On the south side of Sifang Street, there is a one-story archway with a plaque "Baisha, the Capital of the Ancient Kingdom of Naxi, a World Cultural Heritage Site." Just south of Guailou is a peaceful and quiet Naxi home. For more than 1000 years, Naxi people have been plowing here, autumn harvests and winter harvests, and living a life of peace. Today, walking around the village, you will feel that time seems to have stopped flowing. The sky is so blue, the snowy mountains are so majestic, the dogs on the street are so lazy and free, and the entire ancient town is as simple and peaceful as the Naxi old man.

There is also a "Sifang Street" in Baisha Ancient Town, where you can vaguely see the prototype of Sifang Street in Dayan Ancient Town. The center of the ancient town will be built into a center for commercial and trade transactions, and it will be named Sifang Street, which means "extending in all directions, meaning all directions." Because Sifang Street in Baisha Ancient Town was established early, it is relatively not as well-defined and complete as Shuhe Ancient Town and Dayan Ancient Town in Lijiang. Now Sifang Street is the main place for local grandma to sell vegetables. Original small dishes and grandma wearing traditional Naxi costumes are a scenic spot on Sifang Street.

Baisha murals are a very famous attraction here and the only item charged. Admission is 30 yuan. The "Baisha Murals" were a product of the great opening up of Naxi society in the Ming Dynasty. Its painting lasted for more than 300 years from the early Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty. The late Ming and early Qing Dynasties were the period of prosperity and heyday of Lijiang murals, which has a history of 500 years. The Ming Dynasty murals of the existing Baisha Glass Hall, Taibao Ji Palace and Dading Pavilion are extremely precious cultural relics. The murals in the Taibao Palace are the largest among Lijiang murals. They were painted during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. There are 12 paintings in total and 167 characters. The content is religious, but what is special is that in the same mural, there are not only Buddhist and Taoist Buddha statues, but also Lamaist Buddha statues. This kind of painting style that combines various sects is very rare.
