We always look forward to traveling at random, but there is no time when we can better understand the joy of being able to leave at any time than during this extraordinary period. In recent years, I have to go to Yunnan at least once a year; when I almost thought I wouldn't be able to go this year, I had an opportunity before the Dragon Boat Festival. In the current mood of cross-provincial thinking as if going abroad in the past, going to Yunnan for a short summer vacation seems particularly exciting.
"After staying in a cage for a long time, you will return to nature." This year's life needs to be like this.
Lijiang is always the place that is most reluctant to give up every time you go to western Yunnan.
I have written many travel notes on Lijiang in different lengths, about check-in at scenic spots, about food, and about parent-child issues; Lijiang has the commonality of all major cities in China, that is-it is like an endless book, and it has been constantly updating chapters, so we can never read the ending and draw a conclusion. This time, I want to start from a hotel-style vacation and interpret a brand new and unseen Lijiang.
When I came to Lijiang several times, I walked around the ancient city. Too many humanistic feelings about this place were vividly highlighted in the B & B area.
Every family in the B & B has a small courtyard, filled with various flowers, plants and green plants, surrounded by colorful flowers of flowers, forming a tree-lined path. It has the softness of the Jiangnan water town and the unique architectural style of northwest Yunnan.
Almost every family has a hairy child, squatting outside the door, looking at the pedestrians on the street, life is so ordinary and slowly scattered.
But this time, we no longer chose the homestay in the ancient city, but went to a relatively unpopular scenic spot-Dongba Valley Kangyang Town.
The word Banshan Hotel was first learned in Yunnan. Live in the arms of the forest and be in close contact with nature. Dongba Valley Kangyang Town Banshan Hotel refreshes our understanding of traditional hotels.
We drove all the way to Dongba Valley, and a scenic area battery car took us to the hotel as soon as we entered the door. The scenery on the roadside came into view as we drove all the way. The sunlight shone through the green trees and the second-class horses walking on the trail instantly calmed down.
The landscape room has almost become an elegant "attraction" in the Dongba Valley. While other people are still looking for high-altitude restaurants on the other side of the river and booking tables to find an angle for photos on the snowy mountains, you can easily put any pose in your room without embarrassment, and you can take enough photos 24 hours a day.
The hotel's guest rooms are also unique, and each room has its own balcony. The sun shines through the window in the room at noon, making it warm, elegant and comfortable. Standing on the balcony, what comes into view is endless greenery and white snowy mountains.
The guest room is close to the horse trail. From time to time, camel bells ring and hooves sound. There is always the illusion of time flowing back.
The hotel has a total of 20 rooms and is equipped with a variety of room types: a small and exquisite yet extremely comfortable tent room, a clubhouse where you can see clear water when you open the door, and a lake view wooden cabin suite with an excellent view of the "Jade Dragon Snow Mountain". It can be suitable for various types and preferences of guests. Different styles of room types can be seen in the corridor, such as exquisite tents.
The rooms are all independent, separated by a few meters, full of privacy, giving people the enjoyment of a private courtyard, and at the same time ensuring high-quality sleep.
The decoration in the room is even more profound to me. The room exudes the fragrance of wood, retro Chinese decoration, small objects and tea sets placed at the bedside. At this time, you can make a cup of tea and sit in front of the window to watch the beautiful scenery of the snowy mountains and watch the sun slowly setting. Time is fast and slow, the sun rises and sets are always in a moment. Here, you can no longer dwell on the passage of time, just for the clear wind and the bright moon.
You can go and visit when you have nothing to do. The scenic spots are rich in attractions. Although you stay in a hotel, it is equivalent to visiting the scenic spots for a day.
You can check in on local minority cuisine. The craftsman street is filled with various handicrafts, bracelets, shawls, Dongba fans, and shopping is super nice.

Basic room type: Less than 700 per night. Compared with the hotel's location, facilities and services, the value for money is very high. If you stay with more than 2 people, you can get this experience with 200+ per person. I wonder if you can find a second hotel in Lijiang...
However, I personally recommend upgrading the lake view suite for a small fee. It is spacious and has excellent views, so that the experience will be directly increased by more than one level!
Buffet hot pot dinner 50 yuan/person
